Gargoyle Joe Is Your Debate Firewall?

Biden’s new debate coach is not an improvement over John Kerry.

What does it say about a campaign when its hope for putting a stop to a precipitous decline in the polls is Joe Biden? Last night fireman Joe was at his pompous, bloviating best in the Vice President Debate with Cong. Paul Ryan. The most memorable line in his paper thin, fact–free rebuttals came when Biden looked directly at the camera and asked viewers, “Who are you going to believe? Me, or your lying eyes?”

Earlier in the week Obama staffers were trying to pin the blame for the current President’s poor showing on John Kerry’s debate preparation, but I don’t think replacing Kerry with the Cheshire Cat was much of an improvement. In the split–screen shots Biden looked like a dirty old man staring at an elementary school swing set as he leered and grinned during Ryan’s answers.

When he wasn’t interrupting and talking over Ryan, Biden was muttering and chuckling to himself like Gollum in the underground lake. I suggest that whoever posts these clips on YouTube use Aqualung as the background music.

The only time I had any sympathy for “Good Old Joe” was when the camera showed a view of the back of his head and you could see where even his hair implants were thinning.

Believe it or not Biden took a full six days off the campaign trail just to prepare for the debate. To put this in perspective, Jesus didn’t require six days to prepare for the crucifixion.

Presumably the first three days of preparation were devoted to words Joe wasn’t supposed to say including but not limited to: gay, marriage, chains, crushed, taxes, jobs, 7/11, Slurpee, f–ing, deal, articulate, bright and clean. And the last three days to words he should say. In fact, according to a report in the Daily Mail, Joe was programmed with hand–me–down one–liners that Obama refused to use on Romney.

Fortunately, since the debate was held before a mixed audience, Biden did not have to adopt with the black dialect Obama affects when he’s speaking exclusively to minorities. Biden got to keep all his ‘g’s and was not be required to use “folks.”

The process wasn’t brainwashing per se, but it required at least a light rinse.

And somewhere during all this preparation Joe found time to rent a floor polisher so he could buff his teeth.

This focus on Biden brings back memories doesn’t it? Joe was added to the team for his “extensive foreign policy experience” and his “long term Washington expertise.” Yes, 69–year–old Joe was cashing a government paycheck and sticking his foot in his mouth at time when the 42–year–old Ryan had to be content with his thumb.

This is why conservative columnists hav alwayse been grateful Biden is the white guy.

Last night while showing off his expertise, Biden claimed the US is Israel’s best friend and that Obama and Netanyahu have personally met 12 times. Both are lies: Obama pledged to create some distance from Israel and the two have met nine times.

“Foreign Policy” Joe stated emphatically that the consulate in Libya had not asked for additional security, intelligence experts did not warn of an attack and that he knows from security briefings that Iran is a long way from getting an atomic bomb.

Unfortunately Ryan failed to point out that Thursday’s Washington Post had printed the emails asking for additional security at the consulate and he failed to ask Biden if the “intelligence experts” who assured him Iran is a long way from the bomb are the same ones who promised him the Libyan consulate was in no danger.

After Romney won the first debate so decisively, one would have thought MSM coverage of the VP event would be reality–based. But that’s not so, the media remains an Obama co–conspirator. CNN reported its own poll of debate watchers “a draw.”

Yet the graph clearly shows Ryan won 48 percent to 44 percent. What’s more, 28 percent of viewers said the debate made them more likely to vote for Romney compared to the 21 percent who said they were more likely to vote for Obama. And Ryan was judged more likeable than both “Public Trough” Joe & Big Bird by 53 percent to 43 percent, both of the latter being outside the margin of error.

And a pathetic AP reporter by the name of Jocelyn Noveck claimed, “the vice president also came up with the two catchiest phrases of the night – “bunch of malarkey” and “bunch of stuff.” Both of which are trite and ancient.

Fortunately, participants in a Luntz debate focus group that — was not on the MSM or Obama campaign payroll — felt Biden was “arrogant.” Personally, I thought that if Joe had a few feathers he could play Foghorn Leghorn.

The best part about the debate was viewers now realize to their horror that a lying boastful buffoon is a heartbeat away from a President that is helpless without a teleprompter.

Or as Barbara Schribner wrote: Now we can put a set of teeth on the empty chair.

Security Officer at US Embassy in Yemen Assassinated

A US Embassy security official, identified as Qassem Aqlani, was assassinated on his way to work by a gunman on motorcycle on Thursday. According to AP: Yemeni officials said the killing bore the hallmarks of an al-Qaida attack, but it was too early to determine if the group was behind it. They spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak to the media.

The attack occurred in near the home of Aglani, in the capital city of Sanaa, and are believed to be in retaliation for recent military action by US-backed Yemeni government offensives against the terrorist group. Yemen-based al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), which Washington considers the most dangerous offshoot of the terror network, has called for attacks on U.S. embassies in a bid to exploit the anti-American sentiment that has swept the Middle East and other parts of the Muslim world in the past month over an anti-Islam film produced in the United States.

Officials have asserted that the attack on the Consulate in Benghazi was not linked to the film, but AQAP has praised the attack in Libya and killing of U.S. diplomats. Two weeks ago, a top intelligence official, Col. Abdullah al-Ashwal, was also killed in a drive-by shooting in Sanaa.

State Dept: Okay. Here’s the Real Story

Lies and Damned Lies

Ahead of the Congressional Hearing the White House has changed the story about Benghazi. Nothing to do with the video and not a spontaneous riot.

Unfortunately, it sounds like it is very contradictory from the first, second, and third reports. The evidence now points toward a State Department that chose not to respond to requests from their Libyan Embassy for additional security on the eve of the September 11 anniversary. And following the tragic deaths of four American citizens the White House fabricated a tale in an effort to take focus off their errors. (Read the updated security information in Jake Tapper’s article.)

This attempt to get ahead of tremendously damaging news raises even more questions on the transparency of this administration.

UPDATE: Read the rough time line transcript from the Gretawire blog page.

US Special Security Team: Need More Not Less in Libya

The former head of a Special Forces “Site Security Team” in Libya is speaking out against security decisions by the State Department. Lt. Col. Andrew Wood is scheduled to testify at a House Oversight Committee hearing this week regarding security decisions leading up to the September 11 terrorist attack on the U.S. compound in Benghazi.

In an interview with CBS News Wood states, “”We tried to illustrate… to show them how dangerous and how volatile and just unpredictable that whole environment was over there. So to decrease security in the face of that really is… it’s just unbelievable.”

Additionally ABC News reports: that U.S. Ambassador to Libya Chris Stevens wanted a Security Support Team, made up of 16 special operations soldiers, to stay with him in Libya after their deployment was scheduled to end in August, the commander of that security team told ABC News.

But a senior State Department official told ABC News that the embassy’s Regional Security Officer never specifically requested that the SST’s tour be extended past August, and the official maintained there was no net loss of security personnel.

As more information comes to light there appears to be much finger pointing, CYA answers and changing of the story. Not a good day for our State Department and this administration.

Obama and Benghazi-Gate

It’s been 17 days since the attack on the Consulate at Benghazi, and Obama still hasn’t said publicly that it was a terrorist attack. He’s left that to his surrogates, including Press Secretary Jay Carney, and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. The bizarre situation that we’re left with is a dead-asleep press that is largely ignoring the entire situation, with few exceptions. While CNN has managed to get far more information on the ground in Libya than even our FBI has (since they have yet to make it to the scene, as of reports on the evening of September 27th), they are not really saying much of anything beyond the canned responses that have apparently been approved by the administration. And when CNN was reporting slightly on the contents of a journal owned by Ambassador Chris Stevens, the response from the administration was that it should have been given to the family without any reports on its contents hitting the airwaves. Everyone in the U.S. should have seen enough crime dramas over the years to know that is an extremely bizarre statement, presuming that the government ever had any intention of investigating the attack in the first place. Any normal person would think that knowing what Stevens was writing in the days before the attack might be relevant to the investigation, right?

Secretary of Defense (CC)

And now we’re down to trying to figure out who knew what, and when. For now, it’s become clear that the administration knew from day one that this was a terrorist attack. It had nothing to do with the video that slandered Islam. In the coming months, it wouldn’t be surprising to find out that none of the attacks on Western embassies in the Middle East and North Africa had anything to do with that film. But, beyond all of that, the fact that the administration has admitted fairly quickly that they knew from the beginning the true nature of the attack in Benghazi is unsettling. It was not a situation where the press was exerting any great pressure on them about the situation – they were taking the story they were being spoon fed with the noted exceptions of FoxNews, and a few foreign press agencies. While I’m not generally a conspiracy theorist, this definitely causes me to think there’s something more to this whole story.

While the administration has been very quick to point out what a great man Ambassador Stevens was – that’s to be expected – the fact that he was assigned to Libya is a little puzzling. It’s become clear over the past couple weeks that Libya was far less stable than the administration was leading people to believe – and they knew it. Stevens specialized in the Middle East and North Africa, and admittedly, there were other far more stable outposts in the region where he could have been assigned. I suggest this right now because of one glaring fact – Stevens was openly gay. Given the level of hatred and intolerance seen exerted against gays in Islamist nations, the last place any responsible member of the administration should want to place an openly gay diplomat is one where there is even a hint of radical Islamic activity. Either the administration is entirely incompetent, or someone really didn’t care about the safety of Stevens at all when choosing his assignment. Of course, these are issues that may or may not have been addressed in that journal the administration didn’t want CNN reporting about – and apparently didn’t want to read themselves.

There is no proof apparent of what I’ve suggested above. It is merely an observation, based on the few facts available right now – call it an exercise in basic logic. And perhaps it is a suggestion to the few people out there that are really interested in finding out the truth about this attack. Beyond searching for information on the radicals in Libya, another priority should be investigating what was really going on in the administration before the attack. Did Stevens have any enemies in the administration? Were there any under-the-table deals going on between the administration and Islamist organizations on the ground in Libya? Is there really a credible connection to al-Qaeda, or is it merely a matter of a single man with previous associations with that organization having a hand in the planning? And, like any other questionable situation in the Federal Government, how high does it really go? That last one is very important, primarily because Obama detractors have a horrible habit of giving him far too much credit when it comes to just about everything. Bluntly, he’s too much of an amateur in foreign policy, particularly in the Middle East and North Africa, to personally manage being puppetmaster on something like this. The Islam apologist policies he follows are really his undoing in the region – radical Muslims respect him less than the right-wing in the U.S. does because of it. The bottom line is that we are nowhere near the end of this one, if there is even one person determined to stay the course, and figure out exactly what happened. And it will be interesting to see what the truth really is.

My Address To the United Nations on Behalf of Americans

President Obama will address the United Nations this week and reports are that he will once again address the YouTube video that is supposedly fueling the anti-American riots across the Middle East. Whatever he says, I know I will be underwhelmed and disappointed. I decided to provide my own address to the United Nations. This video is what I would say if I had the opportunity to address the United Nations as a representative of the American people. I’m sorry for the poor audio. It’s just me and the webcam so quality is limited but as my friend Lee Doren says, don’t sweat it and don’t be afraid. Just turn on the camera and talk. A transcript is also posted beneath the video.

Despots, traitors, authoritarians, totalitarians, thieves, war criminals, genocidal maniacs, dictators and the precious few rest of you who actually carry the mantel of freedom, welcome to the United States and New York City, where you’ll remember over 3000 of our innocent citizens between here and Washington DC were murdered 11 years ago as many of you danced in your elaborate golden palaces, many of which are lined with the tears and blood of your own people. We are so privileged to have you here. My fellow citizens and I find no small measure of entertainment in watching you eat and drink the bounty of our land and enjoy the privileges of comfortable luxury appointments, all of which are provided to you by the very freedom you pledge to murder wherever and wherever possible.

By now it has come to our attention in no small manner that many of you and your people have been gravely upset by a YouTube video that purportedly disparages Islam. So upset, that your proxies who claim to represent Islam have murdered our ambassador and overrun our sovereign embassies in defiance of hundreds of years of international tradition and diplomacy. Apparently the 98 people with internet access in your third world dictatorships were so outraged by this YouTube, I repeat, YouTube video they saw fit to rape ambassador Chris Stevens before killing and photographing his body in the streets of Libya. Now I know that to many of you, this is not a shocking allegation as you have very fond feelings for the act of rape. But here in America we consider that the ugliest of violations toward any human being. It’s a shame that YouTube video, I repeat, YouTube video was ever produced at all. Forget the content, the quality is most offensive to those of us who actually value freedom. Most Americans could have probably done a better job with some bedsheets, Halloween hair coloring and tanning lotion, and done so without insulting what so many of our own citizens believe to be a holy book and prophet. However, that is the unfortunate price of freedom. The freedom to make good choices is also the same freedom to make poor choices. How else do you explain Glee and Matt Damon? Two things we do sincerely apologize for. We also apologize for not telling you sooner that your determination to condemn your citizens to a 12th century existence in a 21st century world is no longer our problem or our concern. If this never-ending war in Afghanistan has taught us anything it’s that too many of you have placed little or no value on the lives of your own citizens, your own women, your own children. You have traded the message and basis of freedom for greed, corruption, selfishness, cruelty and evil at the expense of those you pledged to care for when you took, or stole leadership. We apologize to the citizens of Iran and Egypt who truly do want freedom and progress, and whom we abandoned under our own President when they needed our support the most. That is a genuine source of grief and shame for many Americans who long to see you free and prosperous as well. We are so sorry for that. We also apologize for emboldening some your state sponsored terrorist organizations by perpetuating the lie that these attacks on our sovereign embassies over a YouTube, I repeat, a YouTube video and not calling this what it really was from the beginning: an attack on American interests and values to commemorate the anniversary of September 11 in the United States. We apologize for our President, who has clearly abandoned the message of freedom and achievement that has made our country the greatest country on the face of the planet in all history forever and ever in favor of a message of appeasement; appeasement to you dictators who give not a moment’s thought to the suffering of your own people while you live lives of ease and luxury upon the dollars and earnings that you have outright stolen at the end of a gun.

What we don’t apologize for and will never apologize for is our own citizens exercising their own God-given right to free speech (no matter how ugly or poorly produced) on our own soil, using our own technology, to reach our own people. American values have not and will not ever be dictated by a small group of fascist demons with daddy issues  who hate the idea of freedom so much that they have pledged, sworn to eradicate the only free, successful society among them, that being Israel. Americans will not apologize to anyone outside of our borders for what we do inside our borders. It’s our business. If we’re ever in the mood for stonings, beheading homosexuals, or wiping our butts with our hands we’ll come visit you and subject ourselves to your national dominion. However, until then we’ll continue to do as we please with our own rights in our own country provided to us by our own Constitution and our God. There aren’t many of us who are truly excited about the content of this YouTube video, I repeat, YouTube video; but we all understand that freedom of speech is not truly free unless you have the freedom to say things that might offend others. What true freedom also produces, is a general common sense among the masses that offensive speech does not and should not produce massive violent attacks.

We are Americans, and our right to free speech is one of the most valued rights we have; indeed most of our other rights flow from that one concept; the idea that every human should be able to speak their mind without fear of retribution or physical harm. It is no coincidence that we are the freest, most powerful country on earth. That too is directly tied to our freedom of speech. But I think you know that, and that is why you work so hard to censor us within our own borders from within your own borders. You understand that the only way to truly break the American spirit that has been responsible for so much prosperity and yes, so much peace is to destroy our freedom of expression. But I’ve come to tell you today that will not happen. We will not bow or capitulate to your warped ideas of morality. Ideas that advocate killing over people over a YouTube video, I repeat, a YouTube video, but have no issues with treating women as property, cattle, or less. Sorry, we’re just not going to do that. so while we agree that this YouTube video, I repeat, YouTube video really sucks, we also understand that it has the right to exist and suck.  It’s not always pretty, but that is price of freedom and whenever I sit down to enjoy my daily meals, running showers and household technology I do believe it is an appropriate price to pay for plethora of blessings we have.

In summary, we’re Americans and we love freedom and we always will so suck it.

Thank you and enjoy your taxpayer funded stay.

PBS Anchor Gwen Ifill Touts Pro-Obama Polls, Dismisses Mideast Violence As a ‘Dust Up’

On the September 19 broadcast of the PBS Newshour, anchor Gwen Ifill discussed the latest polls with Pew’s Andrew Kohut and Mark Blumenthal, “senior polling analyst” of The Huffington Post.  Her talk about voter engagement and enthusiasm got a little hazy – if not completely insensitive – when she referred to last week’s embassy attacks as a “dust up.”

Perhaps “dust up” in her mind only refers to the liberal media’s insular discussions about foreign-policy developments, but could she sound more cavalier about the deaths of Americans in Libya?

GWEN IFILL: Do these polls tell us anything about what people — how people view either of these two as a leader?

After all, we’re voting for the commander in chief. Last week, we had this dust-up about foreign policy. And, in fact, it continued into this week.

Is there anything that you’re seeing in these numbers that shows that people look at these two and they can imagine one as president and not the other?

ANDREW KOHUT: Yes. Well, that’s really — the problem really here is for Romney, because his favorable ratings haven’t gone up.

He’s not seen as any more credible than he was prior to the conventions. They don’t think he is honest — honest and trustworthy to a great extent.

He’s afraid to take unpopular positions. And they don’t see him as empathetic. He doesn’t understand people like him. He doesn’t connect with the average guy.

And there’s no — there’s no change in these numbers. He didn’t fulfill his mission to improve public confidence in him as a leader, both in personal terms and certainly in terms — as Mark [Blumenthal] was noting, in terms of strong leader, good judgment in a crisis. Obama’s got him by double digits on these things.

Additionally, Kohut’s analysis was more of a malicious commentator who basically said that the American people consider the Republican nominee a liar.  We should all note that Election Day is forty-seven days away.  There is still a lot of time for Romney to make up lost ground, but most importantly, some members of the media need to understand that throwing dirt on a campaign before the election is over is sophomoric in the extreme.

Gov. Michael Dukakis –the tank man – left the Democratic National Convention with a seventeen-point lead over George H.W. Bush in 1988.  In the end, Dukakis only won ten states and lost the popular vote by eight points. In the words of Yogi Berra, “it ain’t over til’ it’s over.”

Apparently, the polls are a much more important subject than investigating how an American ambassador, Chris Stevens, was assassinated, since there was no Libya segment on Wednesday night. Hot Air’s Ed Morrissey remarked today that this is the first time such an awful event has occurred in nearly thirty-three years.

As for Ifill’s talent for understating or overstating political events, let’s revisit the hyperbole Ifill unleashed when she worked for MSNBC in 1998, when The Starr Report on President Clinton’s unethical and potentially illegal actions was sent to Capitol Hill for review:

’Already, some of the more thoughtful members of the House and Senate have admitted, yes, they expect to be overwhelmed. There’s very little they can do about this, when someone drives, as one House Judiciary Committee member put this some weeks ago, a truck bomb up to the steps of the Capitol and just dumps it on them. Now this is probably not the most advisable comparison when you consider what happened on these very steps not so many weeks ago, but it is in some ways, politically, a very violent action for Ken Starr to leave this on them weeks before an election when they’re trying to decide how to deal with it.’

White House: Mid East Attacks Not Premeditated

The attack on America’s Benghazi consulate was not premeditated.

It was all about the video.

So said the White House, so said the State Department, so said U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice:

“Our current best assessment, based on the information that we have at present, is that, in fact, what this began as, it was a spontaneous – not a premeditated – response to what had transpired in Cairo.  In Cairo, as you know, a few hours earlier, there was a violent protest that was undertaken in reaction to this very offensive video that was disseminated.  We believe that folks in Benghazi, a small number of people came to the embassy to – or to the consulate, rather, to replicate the sort of challenge that was posed in Cairo.  And then as that unfolded, it seems to have been hijacked, let us say, by some individual clusters of extremists who came with heavier weapons… And it then evolved from there”.

Never mind that Libyan President Mohamed Magariaf said the attack was planned in advance.

What would people who live and work in an official capacity within Libya know about what is going on in their country?

How could Americans possibly believe that the President of Libya knows more about what is happening on the ground in Libya than do Barrack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Susan Rice or Jay Carney?

Those Americans should be ashamed of themselves.

Rather, Americans are to believe that on the anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks upon the United States no elements of Al Qaeda, the Muslim Brotherhood or any other Islamofascist groups within Libya, Egypt, Tunis, or the other twenty odd countries that purportedly simultaneously and spontaneously erupted into violent anti-American hatred, planned to assault American embassies, besiege American consulates, burn American flags, hoist the Al Qaeda flag over the U.S. Embassy in Egypt and ruthless murder American Citizens in cold blood.

Nobody in any of those countries planned in advance.  No groups coordinated the date, the targets, the weapons, the tactics…nope.

It was all about the video.

It was all because of a low budget privately made video posted online by a relative unknown that a slim few had heard of, much less seen.

A video which, whether the White House, the State Department or anyone else within the institutionalized “progressive” left cares to admit, falls within an American’s God given, constitutionally protected Right to free speech.

The administration of Barrack Hussein Obama, Hillary Clinton, Susan Rice, Jay Carney, et al are counting on enough American voters being so naive that they will blindly accept any flimsy cover story coming out of the White House.

Of course it definitely helps when everyone save for a brave few souls in the media obediently parrots the “progressive” Party line while hiding, obstructing or completely ignoring entire stories and/or pertinent facts in the process.

It is a pretty darned good bet the people buying this White House cover story concerning anti-American violence in the Middle East also swallowed the equally flimsy cover story about Fast and Furious…hook line and sinker.

Yes, the administration and like-minded members of the self-imagined, self-appointed intellectual “progressive” elite truly believe a sufficient number of Americans needed to re-elect them ARE that stupid, ignorant, sufficiently distracted or simply not paying attention.

Americans have the chance to prove them wrong on November 6, 2012.

White House Fails at Home and Abroad

Why are Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and the White House obsessed with apologizing for an amateur video that no-one had heard of, seen or cared about?  Why are they so obsessed with singing the praises of “a great religion” who’s leaders are the world’s leading proponent for mob violence and mass murder?

In light of the fact that North Dakota State University has been evacuated after a bomb threat, there has been an ‘unspecified’ threat at Valparaiso University, an Al Qaeda threat has shut down the University of Texas, a mob at the U.S. London embassy burned an American flag, protesters smashed windows and set fires at the U.S. embassy in Tunisia, gunfire was heard at the embassy in Sudan, clashes at the Cairo embassy continue to intensify, why is the current administration so obsessed with telling violent Islamist extremists “we’re sorry”?

As per to the UK Independent:

“According to senior diplomatic sources, the US State Department had credible information 48 hours before mobs charged the consulate in Benghazi, and the embassy in Cairo, that American missions may be targeted, but no warnings were given for diplomats to go on high alert and “lockdown”, under which movement is severely restricted….

There is growing belief that the attack was in revenge for the killing in a drone strike in Pakistan of Mohammed Hassan Qaed, an al-Qa’ida operative who was, as his nom-de-guerre Abu Yahya al-Libi suggests, from Libya, and timed for the anniversary of the 11 September attacks”

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/politics/revealed-inside-story-of-us-envoys-assassination-8135797.html

The U.S. federal government, who’s responsibility is to ensure the safety and security of America, even though they had advance warning at a time of tremendous unrest in the Islamist world, failed to protect American embassies abroad on the anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks?

Now their chorus is “We’re sorry”?

There are people who hate America.  The current administration can apologize to them, bow to their kings, try to bribe them with foreign aid and beg for forgiveness all it wants.  People who hate America will continue to hate America.

Instead of trying through appeasement to make friends with those who want to kill Americans, the United States government should ensure that those who hate America at least respect American might and American resolve.

Since even before his election, Obama has sought to soft sell America to the Islamist world.  He has followed the “progressive” approach that if America is nice enough to its enemies for long enough, its enemies will decide to like America in return.

So far, mass violence has broken out in Syria, Egypt and Libya.  In Libya four Americans have died.  Iraq is cooperating with Iran, allowing the Iranian Islamist government to arm Syrian rebels by allowing them safe passage through Iraq.  Israel is under existential threat because Iran thumbs its nose at the world and comes ever closer to building a nuclear weapon.

The results of “progressive” foreign policies have been at the very least, unsatisfactory.

Since “progressives” believe they should be judged solely on their intent, they are incapable of understanding why America’s enemies have rejected their overtures.  To “progressives” their being judged on the results of their policies and initiatives remains a puzzle.  They remain mystified as to why they are being blamed for the failure of their policies.  After all, “their intentions were good”, therefore it can’t possibly be their fault.

For so long as Barrack Hussein Obama, who’s economic, domestic and foreign policies are all designed to curtail American power and influence at home and abroad remains in the White House, the world’s perception of America will remain unchanged.

President Obama: Jihad Your Chance to Win the Election

Moslems commemorate 9/11 in their special way.

The term for Christians and other non–Moslems living in Islamic countries is “dhimmi.” Think of it as Jim Crow with a turban. Think of it as Jim Crow right now.

According to Mitchell Bard, dhimmis in Islamic lands “on pain of death, were forbidden to mock or criticize the Koran, Islam or Muhammad, to proselytize among Moslems or to touch a Moslem woman.”

Dhimmis were forbidden to hold public office, serve in the armed forces or own weapons. Non–Moslems cannot build synagogues or churches taller than mosques, construct houses taller than those of Moslems or drink wine in public, which helps to explain Donald Trump’s absence.

A dhimmi’s testimony in court was worthless, which meant attacking dhimmis was penalty–free for Moslems, just like today.

But one doesn’t have to live in the Middle East to be a dhimmi. You could be the President of the United States and impose dhimmitude on an entire nation.

Obama orders our soldiers to wear white gloves when touching the Koran (no word on whether the troops are required to suit up before touching the Bible or Bagvad Gita) and avoid drinking or eating in front of Moslems during their Ramadan fast.

His administration can insist there is no nexus between Islam and terrorism; and collaborate with Muslim Brotherhood front groups here at home.

And the President can treat the murder of our Libyan ambassador and an attack on our embassy in Egypt as simply a random act in response to provocation from US citizens.

In full dhimmi mode the embassy in Cairo and Sec. of State Hillary Clinton scrambled to burn the Constitution in a futile effort to placate readers of the Koran. “The Embassy of the United States in Cairo condemns the continuing efforts by misguided individuals to hurt the religious feelings of Muslims…” the statement read. “We firmly reject the actions by those who abuse the universal right of free speech to hurt the religious beliefs of others.”

The death of the ambassador presented a problem for the State Department since he was important, and not a grunt in Afghanistan. They couldn’t blame his death on asking to see photos of a Moslem’s wife and kids, like the military does in “green on blue” attacks in Kabul.

So Hillary “strongly condemned the attack” and asked the same Libyans who allowed the murder to provide additional protection for the rubble.

An attack on an embassy or the murder of an ambassador is not a law enforcement problem. It’s an act of war. The proper response is not a hand–wringing statement and a eulogy for Ambassador Chris Stevens.

That would be like FDR — Obama’s hero — issuing a statement after Pearl Harbor that saluted the dead, praised them for their public service and failed to mention the attack by Japan.

The proper response to an act of war is a demand the perpetrators be handed over immediately.

And until then, the US 6th fleet should blockade Libyan ports and institute a no–fly zone over every airport. In the case of Egypt, the administration should end discussions on forgiving its $1 billion debt and Egypt should not get a penny of the $1.5 billion in aid until rioters who violated US sovereignty are turned over.

(On second thought, keep the rioters. Since they crossed an international border while invading our embassy, this administration might feel relieved to finally encounter illegals that don’t speak Spanish. There’s a real possibility Janet Incompetano would offer rioters a green card and a free college education.)

Unfortunately, none of this will happen. This weak, feckless, incompetent excuse for a President puts a higher priority on making sure the Pentagon allows homosexuals in military uniform to march in “gay pride” parades than he does in protecting Americans and embassies overseas on the anniversary of 9/11.

Instead the Cairo embassy apologetically announced there would be no visa services on Wednesday due to clean up from a previously unplanned al Qaeda festival.

Any psychologist will tell you successful behavior is learned behavior and since 1979 Moslems have learned attacking a US embassy is penalty–free and gives the attackers plenty of cachet with the hijab hotties.

One of the Islamists at the embassy storming explained, “This is a very simple reaction to harming our prophet.” So why can’t the United States have a very simple reaction to harming our embassy and our citizens?

A good friend of mine observed that if Obama had ordered Marines in Cairo to fire when the rioters crossed the wall, he would have won the election yesterday. Fortunately for Mitt Romney, that dhimmi knows his place.

The Obama Administration, the Mainstream Media and the Death of Journalism

It’s nothing new to point out that the mainstream media has placed itself as the tool of the Obama Administration. However, over the past 24 hours, that contention has taken on a truly frightening meaning. Bluntly, it seems that there are countless examples of the media regurgitating whatever the Obama Administration spoon feeds it, and passing it off as journalism. It’s gone beyond the point of even considering fact-checking, and “news” has become almost purely opinions pieces – not “straight journalism.”

While examples of this abound, the focus here will be on the mainstream media hijacking the narrative to place this administration in a good light, and it will include a true opinion piece – not something that’s being schlepped as real news. The Fix from the Washington Post passed along a lovely example of this wonderland mentality that really doesn’t have a firm grasp on reality. Now, to be fair, this item was probably started before the events in the Middle East, and just maybe, Chris Cillizza might change his tune a little bit once the actual political fallout from these events come home to roost, so to speak. But, as of this morning, his contention is that Mitt Romney is panicking, and he dutifully offered some comments from some Republicans on this. Of course, it should go without saying that the Romney camp should examine this article for some of the finer points, and maybe make some minor adjustments accordingly. There are some worthwhile points made in this article. However, they are definitely overshadowed by Cillizza’s regurgitating of the Obama camp narrative that has been permeating the mainstream media.

Like the assertion that Romney made a mistake by calling the Obama administration on the U.S. Embassy in Cairo tweeting apologies to Muslims before, during, and after the attack there. It’s been observed, repeatedly, that if it was a Republican in the White House (George W. Bush, for example), the press would have been all over him for this. That is absolutely true. But where is the press now? Well, they’re buying the quasi-retraction from the Obama administration, and focusing on Romney, calling him an alarmist, or worse. Or they’re complaining about him breaking the 9/11 promise, and talking politics – but please don’t mention that the Obama camp was active from point one, fundraising, soliciting for volunteers, sending out surrogates, and sniping against the Romney camp on Twitter. But, back to the utter failure of the media, where were the questions on that Obama retraction? If that statement was “unauthorized”, who’s really in charge? Or was this statement merely an extension of an already established position of this administration? Either way, what Romney did or didn’t say isn’t the story here. The story is in that Embassy and in this administration.

And to keep things even here, even the right-wing media missed this one. Sure, it might feel good to say that someone in the Obama administration deserves to be fired, but that doesn’t change the fact that the real story lies somewhere much higher than that one staffer. Again, where are the questions about who is really in charge here? On one hand it’s said that this president is leading from behind, a perfect example of this falls in the laps of the conservative media, and all they can come up with is that a relatively low-level diplomatic corps employee deserves to get canned? Talk about a lost opportunity!

But, back to Cillizza’s wishful musings. Other than giving the Romney camp a mini-roadmap for fixing some issues in their campaign, what does this piece say? Given the number of words devoted to the whole Libya issue, it wouldn’t be out of the question to suggest that the administration doesn’t want anyone focusing on what’s actually happening now, when it comes to a response to the incident. After reading, and re-reading Romney’s statement, the only problem is this:

America will not tolerate attacks against our citizens and against our embassies. We’ll defend also our constitutional rights of speech and assembly and religion.

There is no doubt that is Romney’s opinion on the matter, however it is unlikely that the Obama administration agrees. Romney should have avoided talking about reaction by the government at all, since he’s not in a position to cause any action himself at this time. As it is, Marines apparently will not be permitted to use live ammo in Egypt, and while there are ships going to the region, it is unclear if there are any plans of action by the U.S. military. That in itself should be making headlines nationwide, but given the mainstream media’s love affair with Obama, that’s unlikely. Another item that should be getting the attention of journalists is the fact that Obama yet again walked away from taking questions from the press. Romney didn’t, but instead of being happy with the opportunity to get questions answered, the mainstream media found it necessary to conspire against him. Or so they thought, because it could easily be argued that Romney handled the questions very well, especially considering the fact that the journalists were ganging up on him. It was particularly heartening to hear his refusal to even consider hypothetical questions, and if his replies to their questions this time are any indication, it is fair to guess that the mainstream media will be crying regularly that he refuses to answer anything on national security, except in a very broad sense. Also, don’t expect any of the journalists to point out that Romney might have learned not to do that from Obama himself. They do try to forget his campaign promises of 2008 on Afghanistan and Gitmo, after all.

So, instead of having journalists and the press act as watchdogs over the government, we are left with the “Obama Administration State Media.” And that is the death of journalism in this nation. When journalists stop questioning our leaders meaningfully, and start acting as little more than mouthpieces for politicians, it is no longer a free press. It is no different than the state-controlled media in regions like the Middle East. Perhaps we all need to mull over the sad irony of that.

Romney Was Rght and Presidential

After our embassies were attacked, Mitt Romney came out with a statement condemning the attacks and the Obama’s administration apology. He didn’t speak as a republican or democrat .He spoke for all of us and the media attacked him for doing what Obama should have done.

So what does Obama do? He waits 9 hours before making a statement, accuses Romney of jumping the gun, doesn’t take questions and continues fundraising and the MSM naturally goes along with him.

During that 9 hours his state department issues an apology to these radical muslim terrorists. Meanwhile Obama has four Americans, one which is his ambassador, and our embassies under fire and he goes on campaigning .They attack our embassies and killed our people. He apologizes to them? What a disgrace!!!!!

Just like when the hurricane Issac hit New Orleans. Romney went out there right away. Obama waited three days because he was too busy going to fundraisers. He only looks out for himself and whatever is politically expedient for him. These attacks occurred on the anniversary of 9/11 and were planned in advance using this anti–muslim film as an excuse. Why weren’t our embassies beefed up a few days before the anniversary? These protestors tore down our flag and put up an Al Queada like flag shouting, “There is no God , but Allah. Mohammed is his messenger .Jihad is the way.” Why did it take Hillary governing from behind to order the embassies to beef up security when Obama should have done that? Oh I forgot. He has to appear on Letterman and fundraisers.

The muslim brotherhood has taken over Egypt and declared Isreal it’s enemy. Obama was an advocate of overthrowing Mubarak paving the way for the take- over by the muslim brotherhood. Talk show host Sean Hannity warned months in advance what would happen and how dangerous they are and the rest of the media attacked him. Now what he predicted has come true. Obama gave Egypt one-and-a-half billion dollars and gave Libya $200 million since 2011.

Mubarek and Qaddafi may have been ruthless dictators but at least they kept the radicals in line and Quaddafi gave us important information about what they were doing. Obama over threw him too If these two were still in power this would not have happened today. The goal of the muslim brotherhood is world domination of Islam and Sharia law .They are in Iran ,control Egypt, North Africa and bonded with Iran who is calling for the wiping of Isreal off the map. Isreal, our main ally is surrounded. Netanyahu asks to meet with Obama to help them and he’s too busy to meet with him, he has to meet on David Letterman’s show and attend fundraisers for Jay–Z and Beyonce out in Calif. What kind of president does that? He should have dropped everything to meet with Netanyahu, but he has never liked Isreal or Netanyahu. Instead he tells Netanyahu to wait. Netanyahu rightly replied, ”Wait for what?? And how long?” He can’t afford to wait any longer. Never forget Obama’s statement that he would side with the muslims. This administration and the media refuse to believe that we are at war with radical Islam. The9/11 commission said “they are at war with us, we are not at war with them.” They hate us plain and simple. They kill our people and want to kill all of us and we have a president who apologizes to them and blames us for the world’s problems. We have a problem there folks.

Mubarek was a dictator and a thug, but at least he honored the peace agreements with American and Isreal. If the muslim brotherhood gets their hands on nuclear weapons they might pass them onto a terrorist group I disagree with Romney on some issues , but I love my country and so does Romney. Obama doesn’t.

Pentagon: Two Warships Headed to Libya

Pentagon reports have announced that it has dispatched two warships, drones, and approximately 50 Marines to Libya in response to the attack on the US Embassy yesterday.

The two ships,  the USS Laboon and the USS McFaul, are both equipped with tomahawk missiles. Tomahawks are satellite-guided ground targetting missiles that can be programmed to hit specific targets.

“These ships will give the administration flexibility,” a senior official said, if the administration orders action against targets in Libya.

The USS Laboon was within hours sailing distance of Libya while the McFaul is still a few days out. Both ships are part of a normal contingent of four ships that are positioned in the Eastern Mediterranean Sea.

The bodies of the four Americans killed in the attacks are on their way home.
