Mitchell http://conservativedailynews.com/?p=12374 June 6, 1944: On this day sixty-seven years ago, men of the United States and Allied Forces landed on a beach in northern France, in an epic battle to reclaim  Europe from Hitler’s Nazi regime. Thousands would never leave the sands of Normandy alive.

The rest would carry on through the coming battles in Europe and back to the homefront they successfully protected, a success made possible by the D-Day Invasion.

Today, on this anniversary of D-Day, remember the bravery of the thousands of men who went into battle to stop the Nazi cancer from spreading to our shores.
