John Kerry: Scripture Commands USA to Protect Muslim Countries Against Global Warming

John-Kerry-via-AFP

Last Wednesday, at a ceremony to appoint Texas lawyer Shaarik Zafar to be special representative to Muslim communities, Secretary of State John Kerry said it was the United States’ Biblical “responsibility” to “confront climate change,” including to protect “vulnerable Muslim majority counties.”

Kerry said Scripture, in particular the Book of Genesis, makes clear it is our “duty” to protect the planet and we should look at Muslim countries “with a sense of stewardship of earth,” adding, “That responsibility comes from God.” And here you thought all along that  “Uncle Joe” was the resident crazy in the Obama administration. I must say, it is always interesting to watch a liberal attempt to play theologian. Obama did it with homosexuality and now Kerry is playing it with climate change. They certainly have no problem using religion when it’s convenient to advance one of their crackpot agendas yet it is demonized at every other opportunity for things that really matter to the rest of us.

The world is aflame and the absolutely last thing I am concerned about when it comes to the Muslim world is how “climate change” may or may not affect them. Honestly, it’s the very, very last thing on a very, very long list of “concerns” I do in fact have with all those who follow the teachings of Muhammad. This ongoing, seemingly compulsive need to pander to the Islamic world is worrying indeed. Especially since thousands of Christians in the Middle East are being slaughtered, raped, enslaved, and driven out of their homes by followers of the same religion. One can only ask “why?” so many times.

It is theoretically comforting that Kerry appears to have had a “come to Jesus” moment when it comes to Christianity. But we all know that in reality it’s just a farce and another ploy to try to placate the Muslims and convince them that as “People of the Book” we really aren’t all that bad and to please try to stop blowing us up and beheading our people. It reminds me of the utterly bizarre directive of Obama to turn NASA into some sort of Muslim outreach program. Absurdity continues to run amok during the reign of President Barack Obama. Do the members of the Obama administration even live in the same world as the rest of us?

Where specifically in the Old and New Testaments does the words “Muslim,” or “climate change” appear? To be very specific, nowhere. It seems like there is not a day that goes by that a prominent liberal doesn’t say something that isn’t simply stupid. Quoting Scripture to “protect” Muslim lands is a new one to me. Perhaps he doesn’t read the same Bible as you or I.

And since when is ‘religion matters’ a mantra for the State Department? What the heck is that even supposed to mean anyway? One would think that if that was really true, the nutjob, militant atheistic Left would be up in arms but they are not. They know that such a statement is merely a hollow, meaningless piece of propaganda and totally without merit. I am inclined to concur with their conclusion.  It sounds like this is just as an apparent cover and excuse to impose massive government intrusion into every aspect of the daily life of the average American. Because that’s where it leads and is what it means.

The morals, values, and concepts of Christianity have been under unrelenting attack by this administration since its inception and it’s interesting that suddenly these types of references to scripture appear right before the mid-term elections. Perhaps a half-hearted attempt by some to confuse the average evangelical voter? Who knows? Kerry, the Bible also says we are commanded to “go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I [Jesus] have commanded you.” Care to publicize that the State Department is ‘making that it’s mantra” to the Muslim nations? I didn’t think so.

As the son, grandson, and great-grandson of ministers of the gospel of Jesus Christ I can assure you that the theology of both John Kerry and Barack Obama is far from the truth and only being used as a cynical ploy to advance their ideological, and not theological, agendas. It’s always a bit distressing to hear Godless people try to misuse scripture to forward their secular agendas. I wonder if Kerry is aware of the scriptures describing liars and their one way ticket to hell. I’d love to hear him discuss that one sometime. Scripture also condemns bearing false witness which he has been caught doing innumerable times. One can only surmise that Kerry is selective when it comes to his faith worldview. Just being a Christian when it’s convenient isn’t acceptable.

When it comes to the liberal mind we are supposed to ignore Biblical passages about God knowing us while we are still in the womb and anything about the condemnation of homosexuality, but get all Biblical on climate change. For them, global warming is in many ways a new religion that trumps all others. I have a news flash, neither Kerry or Gore is the new Moses leading us into the Promised Land.

And last, but not least, if the Obama administration could come up with a strategy protecting both Muslims and others from beheadings, torture, forced starvation, rape, imprisonment, and mass executions at the hands of other, more devout, Muslims it would be appreciated. In the end, the real God of Progressives and liberals is the almighty state, not the God of the Bible. Big government is not God, and Barack is not his prophet.

John Kerry needs to explain himself

1399305155NEW YORY, May 5, 2014 /Christian Newswire/ — Bill Donohue (photo) comments on remarks made on May 1 by Secretary of State John Kerry:

Secretary Kerry congratulated the U.S. Embassy staff in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia for promoting “a universal message about the rights of people to be free, about democracy, about the ability of people to be able to choose their government and be oppressed when they speak out or say something.” He should have stopped there. Here is what he said next:

“This is a time here in Africa where there are a number of different cross-currents of modernity that are coming together to make things even more challenging. Some people believe that people ought to be able to only do what they say they ought to do, or to believe what they say they ought to believe, or to live by their interpretation of something that was written down a thousand plus, two thousand years ago. That’s not the way I think most people want to live.”

The Ten Commandments are the moral edifice upon which Western civilization was built. It makes absolute prohibitions on a range of issues. Was Kerry aiming his remarks at the Ten Commandments? Or was he taking issue with the teachings of Jesus as found in the New Testament? Or were his remarks targeted at the Koran, the religious text of Islam?

One thing we know for sure: Christians are being beaten, raped, and murdered in many parts of Africa, and the ones who are committing these crimes are invoking Islam as their justification. While there is much dispute about the extent to which these barbarians are distorting, or perfecting, Islam, there should be no ambiguity about who the persecutors are.

Secretary Kerry needs to explain himself.

Obama’s Speech-Putin’s Ruse

I’m starting this blog with some comments that appeared on the GOPUSA site I agree with about Obama’s speech followed by my commentary as usual. In the first comment Lurch is the nickname for Kerry :D

Leave it to Lurch to suck up to the Communists led by Putin again. I think all of this was and is that he could get close to his heros again and take orders from them. Only Lurch and his stupes in the State Department would believe that the weapons will be confiscated and destroyed. All the time they will be sitting there on the Russian Naval Base awaiting the next use of them by Assad. Lurch, dig out the old files and see that you always have to verify everything that the Russkies sign onto. Complete incompetents. Mean while the illegal invasion continues on our Southern Borders non-stop.

Obama is way out of his league on international politics … Putin ( Russia’s Prime minister) will eat Obama alive every time. That is what happens when a totally inept community organizer, with zero governance experience is elected to the nations highest office. Obama’s election to office is indicator of the American voters ignorance of current events and politics.

If we accept this deal, we have surrendered our status as the super power of the world.

You can NEVER take use of force off the table.

But paint me as one of those tin foil hat wearers, who believes this is exactly what Obama wants. He despises this country for the prosperity we have achieved over the past two hundred years and now he has the power, along with willing traitors in our congress and the statist media, to put us in the kind of harm’s way, we will never recover from.

Well I will go along with your commentary and do believe O is intentionally sinking this country,
However, my opinion is that he is destroying us from within … socially, economically and morally. He is succeeding where Obama Bin Laden failed

The above comments were on the  GOPUSA site and I agree with them totally. I thought Obama’s speech was weak and self centered as usual as he is saying he’s the one who ends wars and is taking credit for his threat for using force for ending this stalemate. Meanwhile new surveys show that 2/3 of the American people trust Putin more than they do Obama. If Obama is really concerned about “the children” over there we should have sent in a strike three years ago when the rebels were more pro-American  instead of now  when they are mostly Al-Suriyah, Al-Nusra and Al Qaeda  which are the most aggressive groups

Meanwhile Putin is playing Obama like a fiddle and the Assad agreement was just a clever  ruse on Putin’s part. While Obama is taking credit for Putin’s suggestion of having Assad hand over his weapons to U.N. inspectors he (Putin) is supplying Iran with S-3000 surface to air missiles and shield over their nuke plants in case we want  to  strike  them. Striking Iran’s nuke plants is what we should have done long ago  to show we are powerful and mean business, but wimpy Obama didn’t do that so now they are a year away from developing a nuke and carrying out their plan to destroy Isreal  and destroy us too in the process with Russia  shielding them with a missile shield.

Russia in 2007 signed a contract to deliver five of the advanced ground-to-air weapons — which can take out aircraft or guided missiles — to Iran at a cost of $800 million.

In 2010, then-president Dmitry Medvedev cancelled the contract after coming under strong US and Israeli pressure not to go ahead with the sale of the weapons system, drawing vehement protests from Tehran.

The source told Kommersant that Russia’s offer would depend on Iran’s withdrawing a $4 billion lawsuit that it has lodged at an international court in Geneva against Russia’s arms export agency.

While all this is going on the white house released a statement saying they would continue to pursue those responsible for the deaths of four U.S. citizens in Benghazi. What a total misconception. What a total bunch of B.S. The American people will not fall for that. It’s been a year and they know who the culprits are and the media even interviewed them at one point. Obviously he (Obama) studied at the OJ Simpson school of finding the perpetrators.

Last night on Sean Hannity’s show   the father of Ty Woods appeared with Col. Olver North and read a letter he sent to Obama demanding answers to the deaths and who gave the order to stand down.

In the United States, the families of those killed a year ago at the consulate say the Obama administration has yet to tell them what really happened, and why it is that none of the killers has been captured or killed.

“It’s hard. I never expected this from my government,” Patricia Smith, mother of Sean Smith, told Fox News. “All they have to do is tell me the truth.”  Sean Smith was a consulate information officer  who  was  among the four people killed in the Sept. 11, 2012, attack by al-Qaeda-linked terrorists.

The White House on Wednesday pledged it would continue to pursue those responsible for the deaths of four U.S. citizens a year ago in Benghazi, Libya.

“The events of last year, losing four brave Americans – Chris Stevens, Sean Smith, Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods – brought home the reality of the challenges we face in the world,” press secretary Jay Carney said in a statement marking the first anniversary of the Benghazi attack and the 12th anniversary of the terrorist attacks in New York, Washington and Pennsylvania.

As one commenter astutely said:

“First thing he (Obama)  should do is admit to lying to the American people. Secondly, explain why security was denied when requested. Thirdly, who gave the order to stand down and refuse to go to the aid of the Americans. This is just another shell game this administration plays in order to cover for their incompetence. The same people who now want to bomb innocent civilians are doing so to cover for all the scandals confronting them, Benghazi, IRS , AP and NSA. The say they will do something about Benghazi which seems unlikely, but when are they going to do something about the others?”

We have had some blatant scandal level cover ups within the Obama administration and every one of them have fizzled out as Obama, Eric Holder, liberal Congressional leaders, and the liberal media continue to ignore efforts to find out what happened and who was responsible for the decisions involved. And for who is Holder, who is supposed to be our chief law enforcer, but is really our chief law breaker, doing this? Well our current President of course…as Holder is the “enforcer” for the Obama led Chicago style takeover of our federal government.

Syria: Obama’s War

Donkey Hotey (CC)

Donkey Hotey (CC)

Donkey Hotey (CC)

Obama is low in the ratings.Only 35% support him so what’s a weak president to do? Come up with an excuse to support a war to make him look strong and decisive. Only with Obama it doesn’t work. The people are war weary now with Iraq and Afghanistan and the pentagon says we have no more funds for a war. Furthermore,Obama, picked the wrong country to go to war with. It is a country  at war with forces from within and no side is worth supporting here. I, myself  don’t trust either side John Kerry comes up with a scenario about how Assad gassed 1,300 of his people with Sarin gas. Most probably sent by Saddam during the Iraq war when our intelligence spotted trucks driven by Russians out of Iraq and into Syria before, during and after the war(my words not his). Kerry and co.said what an atrocity this is and went into great detail describing all the bodies of men, women and children lining the streets of Damascus wrapped in sheets. The speech sounded eerily like his famous anti-Vietnam “winter soldier’s speech” before congress in the sixties where he described the so called atrocities committed by our soldiers “reminiscent of Genghis Khan”to Vietnamese civilians which there was no proof of.

As former Lt.Col.Ralph Peters so truthfully put it,”Saddam killed over a million of his people with gas. Where was Kerry then?” I’ll tell you where Ralph. He was probably stirring up the anti-Bush /Iraq war population. Now this time Kerry can say he was against the war before he was for it.

Now it’s Obama’s war as he hems and haws about going in or not, threatening Assad and tells where we intend to hit and with what kind of missiles not to cause regime change, but just to scare  him. WHAT A WIMPY EXCUSE for a president. Assad must be shaking in his boots. Even John McCain said Assad must be euphoric over Obama’s decision.

Obama said he was prepared to go it alone. All the countries except France backed out. He was prepared to override the constitution again like he has done so many times, but the outcry to go before congress was so great he decided to go before them to get permission. Assad in the meantime has Iran,Russia and North Korea backing him.

President Obama’s decision to seek Congressional approval for a military strike in response to reports of a chemical weapons attack in Syria drew a range of reactions from Syrians on Sunday, with rebel leaders expressing disappointment and government leaders questioning Mr. Obama’s leadership.

Syria’s government on Sunday mocked Mr. Obama’s decision, saying it was a sign of weakness. A state-run newspaper, Al Thawra, called it “the start of the historic American retreat,” and said Mr. Obama had hesitated because of a “sense of implicit defeat and the disappearance of his allies,” along with fears that an intervention could become “an open war.”

Many Syrian opposition leaders expressed disappointment about the move, and called on Congress to approve a military strike. The leaders said any intervention should be accompanied by more arms for the rebels.

“Dictatorships like Iran and North Korea are watching closely to see how the free world responds to the Assad regime’s use of chemical weapons against the Syrian people,” the opposition coalition said in a statement issued in Istanbul.

Still, some rebel leaders were angry. A member of Syria’s opposition National Coalition, Samir Nachar, called Mr. Obama a “weak president who cannot make the right decision when it comes to such an urgent crisis.”

Assad has said if we launch missiles into Syria, he’ll launch missiles into Israel which caused Israel to go on a massive buy of gas masks. This poses another problem for Obama as Israel  is our ally in the middle east and Obama has demonstrated disdain for  them and snubbed Netanyahu on occasions. One respondent to an article I read posed this theory: He said this is what Obama may be wanting to happen.  Assad attacks Israel and they retaliate and Obama steps in with a peace treaty making him look like a hero. I don’t think that theory is too far off.

Obama doesn’t have the brains to be where he’s at. Everything he says is the exact opposite of what he actually does.. His whole life is a lie, everything he does is orchestrated by someone else putting the words in his mouth, and others being paid to destroy this country , one step at a time.

The reason he dithers so much on everything is because everything about this guy is a facade. They took an incompetent Communist racist, taught him to read a teleprompter, gave him papers which no one has seen, grades which no one has seen, and told the sheeple that if they don’t vote for him they are racists. He’s told what to say, when to say it, where to say it, how to say it and can’t say anything other than what he’s told to say. As one comment  I saw said,  “In his college application he claims he is a citizen of Kenya. Did he lie about being a citizen of Kenya and thus his diploma is now in jeopardy or is he really a citizen of Kenya and thus not eligible for the presidency? Either way, he gained the presidency fraudulently. What a shame for a president and now we risk another illegal war in the middle east with Syria. I say stay out of there and let them fight it out.

An Obama Scheme

obama-angry_05

So, today, as Secretary of State, John Kerry, reeled off the reasons that the United States should find itself embroiled in a civil war in the Middle East, as Vladimir Putin weighs his responses, and as Obama declares that the U.S. will go it alone if they have to, the world waits. The world seems to split into a few different camps .

Some wonder who actually used the poison gas that killed thousands of Syrians (despite Kerry’s swearing that he is positive it was Assad’s men, not rebels). Some wonder, why now? Suddenly, gas is a thousand deaths too far? Yet others may wonder why there is not more pressure on the U.N. to provide peacekeepers, or to investigate if it was actually gas used, or to hold a vote, in the face of an assured Russian veto, to allow nations to intervene.

Here at home, there are any number of Obama administration scandals that a person could point to, that would easily take a backseat to a brand new war. While the country is war-weary, the men that do the fighting are fathers, sons, and brothers, and using them as some sort of executive strike force would lose far more respect for the president than allowing most of the scandals to run their course. Of course, that takes for granted that this administration still has respect left to lose.

As it seems now, any Syrian actions will revolve around the use of tomahawk cruise missiles, which cost around $1.4 million per launch. The odd thing about a new attack (or kinetic military action, as they are now known), is that the president may have waited so long to act, he has excuses no matter the outcome. Perhaps that is what the delay was all about – coming up with explanations to describe what has happened, no matter what happens.

Plan A: Obama orders $140 million worth of missile strikes (probably a very low total estimate of what strikes would actually cost), and they will have little to no effect on the man who Obama intends to punish, Bashir Assad. Assad has already had plenty of time to move the missiles and other weapons that Obama would ostensibly target. So, the missile strikes would amount to little more than another giant waste of money and manpower, and accomplishes nothing…Except anger Russia and Iran. For his part, Obama stresses how he only had the most positive outcome in mind. He was trying to do the right thing.

Plan B: Obama orders his strikes, and through either bad intelligence or some other missile snafu, a strike hits a Russian or Iranian-owned building or other concern. In that scenario, I would anticipate a quick reaction of the administration to be to throw money at the problem, to quickly make it go away. For Russia or Iran’s part, they could probably take the issue to the United Nations, and seek to shame the United States. As a result, the U.S.’s standing in the world gets tarnished again. Obama says it was an unfortunate event, (and without mentioning the payoff) he is glad that the country who suffered the loss decided against any “rushed actions”, and that the countries have something to build on now.

Plan C: Obama orders more extensive actions than just a missile strike. This not only entails aircraft, both fighters and bombers, it also risks pilots’ lives – something that missiles do not do. One can only guess how an angry Assad, unjustly attacked (in his eyes) would treat a downed American pilot. In that case, who does Obama turn to, being allied with Al-Qaeda elements and France, for diplomatic channels to get the pilot released? Once he figures out the magic word (or amount) I would expect Obama to spin the achievement of his State Department.

When you are a Teflon president, there is little worry of having a scandal or war failure attach to you. With the ongoing scandals having little effect on Obama so far, it may have only emboldened him to act more brazenly than he might have previously. With so many yes-men in place, willing to fall on a sword for you, what is the your source of critical thought or reflection of your actions? Having only been told positive things about your actions, while having a press that minimizes negativity, warranted or not, is not good for a leader. Of the many things that Barack Obama has done, and has taken upon himself to enact via executive order, this should truly bear the title of Obama’s War, regardless of outcome.

It looks like John Kerry, our esteemed Secretary of State, is working hard to earn his money – shuttling back and forth trying to return the Israelis and “Palestinians” to peace negotiations. It would be impressive if this meant something, but I guess he needs something relatively useful to do with his time.

For negotiations to be successful, one must assume that the partner with which they are negotiating with is actually trustworthy – otherwise, the whole thing is an exercise in futility and a farce. Of course, that is what these negotiations are.

Just this week we’ve seen Israeli Arab Knesset minister Ahmed Tibi threaten another intifada (I assume with requisite bus, pizza and cafe bombings) if talks didn’t produce results – even before negotiations have resumed. How’s that for blackmail? Treason?

What is even better is what was reported yesterday. A Palestinian Authority minister compared the upcoming negotiations with Israel and assumed subsequent treaty to the peace treaty Muhammad made with the Quraish tribe – one that was disregarded by Muhammad after he became strong enough to defeat them.

[Religious Endowments Minister Mahmoud] Habbash then compared the decision of the PA leadership to negotiate with Israel to the agreement of the Prophet Muhammad on a 10-year truce with his rivals in the Quraish tribe of Mecca, known as the Treaty of Hudaibiya, reached in the year 628 CE.

“The hearts of the Prophet’s companions burnt with anger and fury … this is not disobedience [of God’s command], it is politics. It is crisis management, conflict management … in less than two years, based on this treaty, the Prophet returned and conquered Mecca. This is the example. It is the model.”

Really?! This is the model? Is this an example of negotiating in “good faith” – that treaties are meant to be broken?

There is absolutely no reason for Israel to negotiate with these “people” – especially after this revelation, it would be stupid of them to do so.

Kerry states US will sign UN arms regulation treaty despite legislative objection

Hugh Nelson (CC)

Hugh Nelson (CC)

Secretary of State John Kerry stated Monday that the Obama Administration intends to sign a U.N. treaty that would restrict trade of conventional weapons, despite opposition from the Senate. Fox News reports:

“We look forward to signing it as soon as the process of conforming the official translations is completed satisfactorily,” he said. Kerry called the treaty “an important contribution to efforts to stem the illicit trade in conventional weapons, which fuels conflict, empowers violent extremists, and contributes to violations of human rights.”

The treaty would require countries that ratify it to establish national regulations to control the transfer of conventional arms and components and to regulate arms brokers, but it will not explicitly control the domestic use of weapons in any country.

Still, gun-rights supporters on Capitol Hill warn the treaty could be used as the basis for additional gun regulations inside the U.S. and have threatened not to ratify.
Last week, 130 members of Congress signed a letter to Obama and Kerry urging them to reject the measure for this and other reasons.

Since ratification of a treaty will require a 2/3 vote from the Senate, it is unlikely that the administration will succeed in getting ratification. This by no means implies that gun rights activists should rest on their laurels on this issue. If the President decides to sign this treaty, everything possible must be done to guarantee that the Senate will not ratify it. As for when the treaty could be signed, it could be any time – either in the near future, or months from now.

Republican Congressmen Want Answers On Benghazi

Eagle Changing Things I Cannotg Accept

It seems someone in Washington is beginning to listen to We the People.  Congressman Frank Wolf (R-VA), Chairman of the AppropriRep. Frank Wolfations Committee, and Congressman Jim Gerlach (R-PA), a Ways and Means Committee member, sent a letter to Secretary of State John “Lurch” Kerry telling him they want to speak with the thirty or so “invisible” Americans present in Benghazi the night of the attack on the consulate.  Kerry will refuse and Republican “leadership” will sandbag this untiRep. Jim Gerlachl it gets overridden by a new “crisis”, if We the People let them.  It is up to us to ensure this doesn’t happen again.

I urge everyone who reads this to get on their members of Congress and demand this be looked at and looked at seriously.  I wrote about this a few weeks go asking what happened and why these “investigating” committees weren’t talking to anyone who was actually on site at the time of the attack.  All we got was a song and dance cover-up from Leon Panetta and Hillary Clinton; a “where was Elmo, er Barry?” moment from “outraged Republicans”; and an “oh, well, we asked” conclusion from Republicans in the end, as is “modus operendi” in government.  Fast & Furious comes to mind!!!

Neither party leadership wants the truth to come out, on this or any other “investigation” they do.  Gunrunning to our enemies is a serious matter and could possibly be at the root of this whole affair.  Again, Fast & Furious comes to mind!!  The other “conspiracy theory” out there is that Stephens was to be kidnapped and traded for the “blind sheik”, Omar Abdel Rahman, being held as the mastermind of the 1993 attack on the World Trade Center.  Either, neither, something else????   We don’t know and likely will never know if the political establishment gets their way.  In politics it seems the “one hand (D) washes the other hand (R)” method of “finding the truth” has never been more fashionable.  They come out with “clean hands” and We the People lose a little more ground in the battle for liberty, the soul of America.

We the People need to get behind these two men.  They have shown the courage and integrity to step up and do what they pledged to do in Congress.   We need to contact our own members of Congress and demand that they sign on to this and refuse to accept any more of the typical “Teaberry Shuffle” from the “leadership” of both political parties.  This article will be the second time my congressman hears about this issue from me.

This is how we get our government back.  As leaders step out of the shadows we get behind them and let them know We the People have their backs because Boehner and the other RINO’s, along with all Democrats, will be looking to stab them in the back as quickly and lethally as possible.  Boehner will look to make an example of them as he has done in the past, or simply ignore the matter.

We cannot allow any more patriots in Congress to be trampled underfoot by the corruption that pervades Washington D C (De Cesspool).  Boehner punished Tim Huelskamp, Justin Amash and several others for having the temerity to stand with We the People instead of the party establishment.  These people are the ones we need if we are to survive as a Republic.  When they stand up against the tyranny that is political party establishment politics they are standing up for US.  This is what so many of us demand; so when our demands are met we must respond with favorable fervor towards those who stand up for us.

TEA Party conservative voters, the 67% of We the People from 2009/2010, have put enough members in Congress to be able to overcome Boehner and his RINO henchmen on any issue.  Those TEA Party people registered as Democrats need to do the Eagle Fighting for Freedomsame with their member of Congress.  I know they tend to ignore us but now is the time to put more pressure on all of them.  Let all of them, in both political parties, feel the heat of primary challenges if they refuse to change the way they are dong things.

Write, call, or fax your congressman and senators.  Be polite but firm and insist they stop hiding behind party politics, and represent you the way they promised while campaigning, and uphold the Constitution as they swore an oath to do.  At the 2013 freshman orientation for Republicans John Boehner essentially told them that if they were there to represent their districts the door was in the back of the room but if they were there to “take care of business” then they could stay.

We the People cannot allow this to continue.  Burning phone, fax, and e-mail lines in Washington is the most effective way to accomplish this task right now.  My delegation members hear from me on a regular basis, sometimes with praise and otherEagle Changing Things I Cannotg Accept times “without” praise.

The 2nd Amendment issue is front and center right now and is proof of what We the People can do if we will stand with elected officials who stand up for us.  The “coming together” of local law enforcement and civilian patriots is extremely encouraging and an example of how we take our government back from those who have perverted the meaning and design of our founding fathers.

The typical Republican in Congress is a lily livered shill of the NWO globalists and will not honor their oath of office, and essentially no better than the Marxist Democrats.  We need to get behind those who will actually represent We the People and insure that they are not trampled under the foot of jack-booted thugs in both political parties.  Those who show the courage to speak out against the “leadership” of either party need, and more importantly DESERVE, the support of all citizens.  They are the true patriots in Washington!!!

I submit this in the name of the Most Holy Trinity, in faith, with the responsibility given to me by Almighty God to honor His work and not let it die from neglect.

Hagel proving his own inadequacy

chuckhagel

As Washington insiders argue the finer points on the merits (and demerits) of having Chuck Hagel as Secretary of Defense, the man himself had been running around for years proving that he probably isn’t the best option for the position. His abysmal performance in the confirmation hearings aside, Hagel has been wandering around proving his lack of basic knowledge necessary to do the job for well over a year now.

The American Enterprise Institute blog, AEIdeas aptly pointed out at least one shortcoming when it comes to Hagel’s comprehension of the Defense budget and sequestration cuts on the horizon. AEIdeas points out from a short snippet of a September 2011 interview by Financial Times, that Hagel’s lack of real knowledge of the issues at hand in the Department of Defense, when it comes to spending, is not a new development.

It is true that traditionally defense spending is a sacred cow to conservatives. Any talk of cuts typically garners at best, cynicism – at worst, outright attacks and derision. However, there is fat to be trimmed, and that concept has been explored by at least one blogger at Their Finest Hour. That source is mentioned primarily because of its pro-military stance. But, that is not the sort of cuts that Hagel is referring to, either in his 2011 interview with the Financial Times, or in his confirmation hearing testimony. On the contrary, in both he is showing a sophomoric understanding of the important issues at hand – of balancing budget requirements with maintaining the level of national security this nations needs. And this was not lost on former Press Secretary Robert Gibbs during his appearance on “Meet the Press.”

Hagel is not a an appropriate choice for Secretary of Defense at this point, not only because of his own shortcomings, but also because John Kerry is now taking the post of Secretary of State. These two departments must work hand-in-hand to ensure the safety of American citizens abroad, and provide relatively safe situations for American businesses to expand worldwide. It has come to light that the suicide bomber that attempted to attack the U.S. Embassy in Turkey was known to U.S. authorities, and unlike the Benghazi attack, the administration has come out from the beginning admitting that this was a terrorist attack. But, one has to wonder what Hagel’s ideas for cutting fat at the Pentagon would do to the security overseas that arguably prevented that bomber from breaching even the outer defenses of our Turkish Embassy.

And maintaining the safety of our personnel and business interests abroad is not the only concern our incoming Secretary of Defense will have thanks to the new Secretary of State. With Iran stepping up development of weapons for use against its enemies in the Middle East and beyond, there will be serious issues to address in the Department of Defense. Whether one considers the possibility of Iran making its own fighter jets, or the possibility of them being able to send rockets into space, there are seriously disturbing issues on the horizon when it comes to dealing with Iran going forward. Couple this with their determination to acquire a nuclear weapon, and it is a deadly combination that will require competent leadership in the Department of Defense – not willy-nilly running about talking about the need to cut funding. This is especially important, since the Iranians appear to be dangling a carrot when it comes to talks on nuclear weapons – something Kerry probably will not navigate through well. In this administration, the Department of Defense will play a pivotal role, if only because it will be left to clean up messes made by the Department of State, for one. Hagel cannot handle that, if for no other reason, because he would fail to recognize the need to do it in the first place – at least until there was a significant loss of civilian lives, at home or abroad, to force the issue.

Susan Rice Bows Out As Sec’y Of State Nominee; Benghazi Related?

Susan-Rice-007

Susan Rice has withdrawn her name for consideration as the next Secretary of State. The liberal pundits are out en mass, with Andrea Mitchell, playing the ‘ol race card, stating “A woman of color has been forced out”. (emphasis mine)

As reported by NBC news:

United Nations Ambassador Susan Rice has pulled her name out of consideration for nomination as the next secretary of state.

“If nominated, I am now convinced that the confirmation process would be lengthy, disruptive and costly – to you and to our most pressing national and international priorities,” Rice wrote in a letter to President Obama obtained by NBC News. ”That trade-off is simply not worth it to our country…Therefore, I respectfully request that you no longer consider my candidacy at this time.”

Rice has come under sustained criticism from Republicans both for her handling of questions about the attack on a U.S. diplomatic outpost in Benghazi.

President Obama responded in a statement of his own, saying that he is “grateful” that Rice will continue to serve as ambassador to the United Nations and as a “key member” of his national security team.

This is no shock. As arrogant as Obama is, and his tendency to act like a Dictator, I admit it is a tad shocking that he didn’t attempt to ram her confirmation through–but then there is Benghazi. Did the cabal surrounding Obama make it clear that the Rice confirmation hearings would stir the pot called Benghazi? Seems stories on Benghazi are fading, and that is just how the Regime wants it. Reflecting on the Rice Sunday show debacle, its Hillary Clinton who seems to have been the savvy Politician. Clinton has traveled out of the Country and been silent mostly on the Benghazi issue—she sure KNEW not to be available for those Sunday shows.

Well, gang, it looks like John Kerry, that stellar liberal with the “Swift Boat” controversy will be the likely Secretary of State.

Lanny Davis Excuses Obama Camp’s Smear of Romney by Comparing to Swift Boat Vets Ad

Lanny Davis

Lanny Davis

Apparently, some Democrats believe the recent string of ads against Romney are justified due to Bush’s Swift Boat Vets back in 2004. Appearing on America’s Newsroom on July 16th, Lanny Davis, a Democratic operative, was shocked that Karl Rove would have such disgust towards this media blitz by the Obama campaign.  Mr. Davis apparently is still waiting for a response from “George Bush in 2004 [since he] didn’t say anything about [the] swift boat ads.”  Nice pivot Lanny.  Perhaps it could be a little payback for Bush’s hazing of Lanny when he attended Yale.

Regardless, it seemed both sides agreed that the comments made by Obama  Deputy Campaign Manager Stephanie Cutter were way “out of bounds.” National Review editor Rich Lowry was especially upset about this recent development. However, Davis kept going back to 2004’s Swift Boat ads.

LANNY DAVIS: There is no doubt it’s an effort to distract and there is no doubt– I agree with Rich 100% that suggesting it’s a felony is way over the top. And if we stick to the facts Mitt Romney wasn’t running Bain Capital when he was running the Olympics period. Innuendo and suggesting felonies is way over the top. So I agree with that. The American people want to hear about the economy and I agreed with Karl that they are making a mistake not focusing on independent voters whether they’re getting turned off by this food fight. But give me a break, Rich, about outrage and all the adjectives, the swift boats felt betrayed therefore they could lie about John Kerry’s disgusting smears in the swift boat ads. And I didn’t hear Karl outraged about that. Every time I hear you or anybody on Republican side use adjectives about negative ads– I say wait a minute.

No, you wait a minute, Mr. Davis.

First off, this is an extraordinary circumstance.  The Obama campaign is making egregious allegations that Romney is hiding something illegal or he lied on his SEC report.  Furthermore, George Bush never accused his opponent, Sen. John Kerry, for committing a felony. Swift Boat Vets was a 527 group unaffiliated with the Bush campaign.  Stephanie Cutter is senior staff on the Obama campaign.

All Massachusetts People Look Alike to Me

John Kerry recalls why he loathes unscripted campaign events.

John Kerry recalls why he loathes unscripted campaign events.

When I first read that Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry (D–Noblesse Oblige) had been recruited to play the opponent during practice presidential debates, I considered it an inspired choice.

There is a slight problem with respective ages for the two candidates, but otherwise everything else is perfect. One pretentious, cliché–ridden windbag impersonating another is excellent practice for when the curtain goes up in October.

Nothing inspires confidence like realistic training. It’s good to know our candidate will be ready when the media starts firing probing questions regarding plans to counteract the nationwide contraceptive famine and the long lines of homosexuals crowding emergency rooms after being refused visitation rights.

And to be fair, my first thought was this action combined an impressive sacrifice on John Kerry’s part, on both a personal and professional level, with a sincere attempt to make amends for past mistakes.

I was concerned about how the Massachusetts’ black community would react and if his participation as a debate stand–in would harm the senator’s re–election prospects. But in this instance the end truly justifies the means and the loss of Kerry’s senate seat is a small price to pay if that’s what it takes to elect Mitt Romney as our next president.

But then I discovered Kerry is not portraying Barack Obama in debate rehearsals, he’s portraying Mitt Romney, which means everything is wrong. Nothing propinques like propinquity and both men are from Massachusetts, but choosing Kerry to impersonate Romney is just more evidence of an out of touch Obama campaign.

The two candidate’s personalities could not be more disparate; starting with unscripted moments on the stump. Yes, Mitt tries too hard. He’s a bit awkward. And when he tells a joke Romney acts like he’s reading from a fortune cookie in the original Chinese, but in comparison John Kerry makes Romney look like Jim Carrey.

Who will ever forget “I’m John Kerry and I’m reporting for duty?” A cringe–inducing image that pegged the hokey meter.

In a crowd or on stage Mitt almost looks natural and relaxed. Kerry looks like he’s attending an autopsy. And although the American’s With Disabilities Act has made wheelchair access to political stages much easier, the law has done nothing to ease the passage of Sen. Kerry’s sedan chair as he tries to get closer to the podium. And long walks through the crowd are always a problem, since the senator does not like to be touched.

Mike Huckabee, comparing himself to Romney, once joked, “I want to be a president who reminds you of the guy you work with, not the guy who laid you off.” Kerry reminds me of the guy wearing a cowl who says, “The executioner will see you now.”

Romney is simply a victim of driving while affluent. The MSM likes the Kerry choice because he “is uber–wealthy, like Romney” and both have changed political positions before and during campaigns. As Jack Cafferty said, “One elite, rich, emotionless Massachusetts politician filling in for another.”

But Kerry’s money arrived via his marriage to the uber–rich Teresa Heinz a sort of government–approved program called share–the–wealth matrimony style. While Romney actually earned his.

Kerry’s position changes are viewed as Darwinian in that they “evolved” from a position progressives didn’t like into one they did. Whereas Romney is characterized as flip–flopping on the beach like a mackerel stranded by “global warming” because his positions became more conservative.

Even though the Obama campaign has made a terrible choice, that does not mean the pressure is off the Romney campaign. Their choice of an Obama stand–in is even more fraught with peril. In 2008 the McCain traveling circus could get away with choosing lily–white former Congressman Rob Portman to impersonate Obama, but that was when Barack was still the “post racial” candidate.

Now that he’s “most racial” candidate, choosing a honkie for Hussein is a good way to get Al Sharpton to picket Debate Training Central. It’s got to be a black man and that, through no fault of their own, puts Republicans in a bind.

Cong. Alan West is out because he’s too intense and he obviously believes in what he says. Former Congressman J. C. Watts is out because he’s too genuine.

What we need is a black politician with a certain amount of presence and excellent speaking skills, but at the same time is an indifferent manager with a tenuous grasp of financial matters.

Hmmm. Does anyone know what former RNC Chairman Michael Steele is doing these days?

Voters, the Economy, and the 2012 Election

Tea Party Sign

Predictions for the outcome of the election in November are starting to sprout up all over. It’s still a bit early to make any truly accurate ones, so this is what you call the “what if” and “wishful thinking” phase of pundit prognosticating. Given the state of the economy, it is no wonder that there are already those that are predicting a GOP landslide, like Michael Patrick Leahy suggests.

Tea Party Sign

I like Leahy, and agree whole-heartedly that the Tea Party activists are the most likely group to push voter registration efforts over the top for the GOP. One little glimmer of light in this is the fact that the RNC appears to have finally recognized the need to focus efforts on social media. Hopefully it’s not a matter of “too little, too late”, and that the RNC also looks to officially leverage the pre-existing conservative social networks on Twitter. But, that is another matter entirely.

Back to Leahy, I’m not quite as sure about his contentions about how the election will go. The primary problem is recognizing the mentality of the voters on election day. If this election is driven by fear, the GOP will have a rough time of it. Voters that cast ballots based on fear of the future do not follow anything resembling logic. When times are tough, they often swing toward incumbents, even though conventional wisdom screams otherwise. The best concept to compare this to is “Stockholm Syndrome.” Ironically enough, Democrats may blame John Kerry’s loss in 2004 on this mentality. Bush was familiar, and even though he may have been the cause of the ills in this nation in the minds of liberals, the moderates still voted for him, if for no other reason, out of fear of change. Well, at least that’s how a few left-wing pundits would probably put it.

So, fear driving the vote would not be a good thing. Anger, on the other hand, would be much better. If one spends even a few minutes watching posts with any of the various conservative hashtags on Twitter, it’s obvious that the “I’m mad as hell, and I’m not going to take it anymore” attitude is alive and well. But, in order to turn that anger into results at the polls in November, the RNC needs to do much more than just play with Facebook. Enter the Tea Party, that isn’t dead, and is already on the ground as a regionally organized grassroots movement. If Obama gets a second term, it will be because the RNC doesn’t suck it up, and ask for the help of the Tea Party to get out the vote. That’s my little early prediction. The Tea Party is literally gifted at getting voters frothing at the mouth, and they have the ability to go out in the communities to get voters registered and to the polls. This isn’t rocket science. But, it will take quite a few swallows of pride. Now to see if the RNC is willing to do that.

Surprising Video: Mitt Attacks Someone For Flip Flops

Before gaining his own reputation as a “flip flopper”, Mitt Romney was calling out John Kerry for being one, himself.  Pot, meet Kettle in this week’s “surprising video”.

For someone who seems to know so much about accusing people of flip flopping, it seems surprising that Mitt has let himself be strung up by this very same tactic, himself.  What do ya’ll think?  Is this irony?  Poetic justice?  Or is Mitt just not very good at dealing with his own PR?

As always, you can let us know in the comments below or Facebook.
