Joe Dan Gorman nails it yet again, with his in-depth analysis of leftist propaganda on Jihadists, phobias, abortion, Planned Parenthood, and Janet Napolitano. In case you’re wondering, Napolitano has no clue how to do her job, except the part where she spews disjointed jargon in Congressional hearings. And the new inconvenient truth – successful terrorist attacks in four years under Obama is FIVE, and in seven years after 9/11 under Bush is ZERO.

George W. Bush was joined by all four living Presidents of the United States, for the dedication of the George W. Bush Presidential Center in Dallas, TX. The last time all five men had met was in 2009, shortly before President Obama’s inauguration. Following is George W. Bush’s dedication speech video, and transcript:

George W. Bush: I’m retired from politics – happily so, I might add, but not from public service. We’ll use our influence to help more children start life with a quality education, to help more Americans find jobs and economic opportunity. To help more countries overcome poverty, and disease. To help more people in every part of the world live in freedom. We’ll work to empower women around the world to transform their countries. Stand behind the courageous men and women, who have stepped forward to wear the uniform of the United States, to defend our flag, and our freedoms here at home. Ultimately the success of a nation depends on the character of its citizens. Mr. President, I had the privilege to see that character up close. I saw it in the first responders who charged up the stairs, into the flames, to save people’s lives from burning towers. I saw it in a Virginia Tech professor who barricaded his classroom door with his body, until his students escaped to safety. I saw it in the people of New Orleans, who made homemade boats to rescue their neighbors from the floods. I saw it in our service members, who laid down their lives to keep our nation safe, and to make other nations free. Franklin D. Roosevelt once described the dedication of a library as an act of faith. I dedicate this library with an unshakeable faith in the future of our country. It was the honor of a lifetime to lead a country as brave and as noble as the United States. Whatever challenges come before us, I will always believe our nation’s best days lie ahead.

Chechnya has been a republic in turmoil since the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991. Terror attacks in Russia have often been perpetrated by Chechens, and the region has been considered a hot bed for terrorism. However, this has not been widely reported or talked about in the U.S., and for good reason. Traditionally, Chechnya has been considered a taboo topic for U.S. administrations – a concession that has been granted to Russia by Presidents Obama, George W. Bush, and Clinton. However, while Obama has not mentioned Chechnya publicly, his administration has not been silent on that region. Two Chechens were listed on the Magnitsky List – a list named for a whistle-blower in Russia that died in custody. [More information on the Magnitsky case here, and here.]

As far as motives to attack the U.S., there is at least one theory about why Chechen separatists might consider that a viable option. Since a terrorist attack in 2004 at a school in Beslan, North Ossetia where over 380 were killed, Russia and the U.S. have a common enemy – Islamic terrorists. Some Chechens were involved in that attack.

But Chechnya primarily remains in opposition with Russia – a battle that has been waged for at least 200 years. Russian President Vladimir Putin is not known for having a “soft touch” with anyone that disagrees with him, and the Chechens are no exception. Anna Politkovskaya – a journalist in Moscow – built a reputation for being critical of Putin for human rights violations in Chechnya. She was murdered on October 7, 2006. Trials (and re-trials) against her accused killers should be starting soon. That likely doesn’t change the opinion of some Russians and Chechens alike that have thought Russian leaders aren’t displeased with the fact that Politkovskaya was killed.

As for terrorism rooted in the Chechnya region, apparently the violence has increased in the past year. The entire North Caucasus region is affected by these activities, the most recent in Ingushetia. Whether or not this unrest has spilled over to U.S. soil remains to be seen. However, it does place a statement made by Mitt Romney during the presidential campaign in perspective.

For the entirety of his two terms in office, the typical reactions of progressives to George W. Bush were belittling and lampooning. He was a buffoon, a cowboy, and an idiot, and as they would have us also believe, an evil genius. Bush was a maverick, willing to start wars and carry out missions from previous administrations (invading Iraq was to finish his father’s war, many on the left claimed).

It seemed like Bush’s mere existence was enough to make some progressives apoplectic, or to send them into angry, profanity-laden rants. Many people who did not self-identify as “progressive” may have seen this behavior, and wondered what on earth Bush had done to engender such hatred and vitriol.

When shocked people asked the raving anti-Bush crowds for proof of Bush’s misdoings, the progressives were more than happy to consistently bring up three favorite points:

They suggested Bush led the United States into war under false premises in Iraq (never mind that he cited repeated instances where Saddam Hussein violated and ignored United Nations resolutions, and that Bush received bi-partisan votes in Congress to go to war). The “progressives” invented a father-son narrative, where the son would complete his father’s business in the Middle East. George W. was merely closing the door on a highly successful, but as yet, unfinished war in Iraq. Obama has made a habit of violating the sovereignty and airspace of places like Pakistan, Yemen, Qatar, and Libya (without the approval of Congress) to strike down various enemies of America and those who would strike our allies in the countries.

They claimed that Bush used “secret detention facilities” (that we somehow know about) to extract information from prisoners. Obama and other administration officials thought the solution was to bring many of the accused terrorists into the United States, and try them in places like New York City. That is despite the security nightmare it would create and the massive costs in both time and money to do so. President Obama has also kept Guantanamo Bay and its detention center open and operational for his full first term, after campaigning on closing it as president.

Finally, the left frequently says that Bush passing the Patriot Act was a means to spy on Americans, and that the powers that the Act employs are unconstitutional. Just ignore that Barack Obama re-signed the Patriot Act, expanded its powers, and also passed the NDAA for the year 2013, which would allow indefinite detention of American citizens. So over-the-top was this measure, that even led the Voice of Russia to compare it to “edicts of the ‘Third Reich’ or ‘Muslim tyrannies’.”

Now, the issues and double standards are plain to see here. The problem lies not with the extent of the differences, but with the lack of media interest regarding these double standards. While aggressively seeking out and killing terrorists during the Bush administration ‘only bred more terrorists,’ when Obama carries out the same actions, they are apparently without the same consequences.

Despite the crowds who felt Obama would be different, and would usher in a period where Bush might be held accountable for actions they felt were criminal, Obama refused to prosecute any Bush administration officials early in his first term. Lefty media were happy to tilt at windmills during the Bush years; but partly because they wanted to retain access to President Obama, these once anti-war media suddenly developed the attitude “nothing to see here” when it came to matters like 72% of all troop deaths in Afghanistan coming on Obama’s watch.

The ironic thing is that Bush at least sought Congressional authorization for war, which the Democrats gave him, while Obama is an actual war criminal. That’s right, President Obama is the only modern president to violate the War Powers Act with his unilateral invasion of Libya. Oh, he did justify it by appeal to NATO and some “international community,” presumably meaning the authoritarian and Islamist regimes that make up the majority of countries in the UN. But it was by President Obama’s sole executive authority as commander-in-chief that he committed U.S. troops to war.

The media seem to want us to believe that everything this president does is for our own good, and that we should not question anything. But until the latest scuttlebutt coming from people like Vice President Joe Biden or the half-stories spread by the press begin to make more sense, we ought to question everything. Do not trust, and certainly, verify.

It was November 6, 1990. I was sitting outside a campaign “victory” party, in the dark. Just about everyone else had left, since the candidate hadn’t actually won. As I sat there drinking from a bottle of champagne, and smoking a cigar, the campaign manager came out, and immediately asked me what I was doing. “Drinking and smoking,” I replied. “How can you do that? He didn’t win,” he said incredulously. I took a drag on the cigar, and calmly said “Nicht so etwas wie Übermenschen.” He asked me again, and while I knew he didn’t understand my reply because it was in German, I repeated myself.

x-ray delta one (CC)

“Nicht so etwas wie Übermenschen.”

Finally, the campaign manager asked what he should have, “What does that mean?”

“There is no such thing as Superman.”

The campaign manager didn’t get what I said, and flew off on a tirade about what had gone wrong with the campaign. He blamed himself, the voters, and me, in turns, looking for a scapegoat to blame for the failure. I sat there, and calmly watched him go through those contortions, drinking the champagne, and finishing the cigar. “Stop,” I said. “You’ve blamed everyone except the one that really is at fault.” He shut up, and looked at me quizzically. “I told you from the beginning that your man wasn’t a good candidate. He was a hard-sell, at best, for the office. The campaign failed because the candidate couldn’t be sold to the voters.”

I dropped the mostly empty champagne bottle in the trash, and walked away, because I simply couldn’t listen to anymore. It was yet another true-believer that refused to see a candidate for what he really was. The man was hopelessly flawed, and the only reason I’d even involved myself in the campaign in the first place was that I owed someone a favor. In all honesty, I’d begged to repay that favor any other way, because I didn’t want to be associated with that candidate. I’d managed to keep myself in the background, and when I showed up at the victory party, the only people that recognized me as a member of the campaign staff were the candidate and the campaign manager. As far as I know, it’s remained that way all these years – I still don’t name this one to anyone when listing campaigns I’ve worked.

And it’s appropriate that I use the example of a nameless fool running for office right now. While he’s the extreme, the fact is that every candidate is flawed. There is no Superman. People turning politicians into celebrities feeds a need to put people up on pedestals. But, the result is that eventually the people figure out that those people really don’t deserve that treatment in the first place, and necessarily can’t live up to the high expectations placed on them. Now, I pointed out the flawed nature of a couple politicians, and the fact that another writer was giving them too much credit in the strategy department. That ticked off at least one person, and that made me think about this unnatural desire to treat politicians like demi-gods.

I’m using that term now intentionally, because I actually want to make all those God-fearing, flag-waving patriotic conservatives out there to think twice about how they are acting now. Yes, we need solidarity, but not blindness. Politicians are human beings, and therefore, are imperfect. They make mistakes. Hiding that fact doesn’t help. Deifying current and past conservative politicians does us absolutely no good. Pretending that George W. Bush didn’t overspend during his tenure is a mistake, and the Obama camp is exploiting it daily. Pointing out that Bush screwed up by outing Valerie Plame removes the ability of the left to justify the current leaks that appear to be coming from the White House.

One rule applies in all of this. Every mistake a previous politician makes that is overlooked by adoring voters is increased by someone else later. Nixon was spying on the opposition, and it cost him the White House. Now? It’s commonplace. While it hasn’t happened yet, you can be certain that thanks to Bill Clinton and John Edwards for two, marital infidelity will not be a big problem for future politicians. As long as we don’t call our leaders on their mistakes, and hold them accountable in some way, they will continue to make bigger mistakes than their predecessors. It’s like dealing with toddlers – they keep testing the limits, and keep pushing, no matter what.

There is a fine line between solidarity and blind faith. I have been berated many times for pointing out mistakes made by conservative politicians, and accused of being part of the opposition, or at the very least, a disloyal conservative. The latest was someone saying I was wrong for pointing out that Sarah Palin said something stupid – outrageous, and made-for-TV, but still stupid. She was the one who made the statement, and I didn’t bother to pick on a liberal instead. Ignoring stupidity only encourages more of the same. If we don’t hold politicians accountable, then why are we bothering in the first place?

It is the height of hypocrisy. Conservatives scream that liberals are destroying this nation, and one of the primary reasons why we say this is happening is the fact that liberals do not hold their leaders accountable for their actions. They are failing to call Obama on his mistakes, blindly following him in spite of them. How are we any better if we are doing the same with our leaders? Again, “nicht so etwas wie Übermenschen.”

On behalf of ABC News and Yahoo News, the ever-vigilant guardians of the institutionalized “progressive” left’s agenda are at it again.

In a “news report” found under the headline-”Spinners and Winners”, Jonathan Karl, Avery Miller, Richard Coolidge and Sherisse Pham are up to their now familiar –bias disguised as news– tricks.

The story, which includes ”contributions” from ABC News’ Gregory Simmons Lemos, features such breaking news information as:

“An infusion of millions of dollars, unlike anything we have ever seen before may now be the single biggest force in American politics. Some of the players are well-known, such as conservative activist and former George W. Bush adviser Karl Rove, and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, a business interest group long active in politics.

This year, there are new players on the scene, so-called SuperPACs, that, unlike candidates or political parties, can accept an unlimited amount of money. For many of these groups who gives and why is a tightly-guarded secret.

“We can see the money going in, but it is very hard to follow what the political favors out are,” says Bill Allison of the nonpartisan Sunlight Foundation. ‘I think that is the most concerning thing about all of this money going into the political process.’”

NOTE-The typos and incorrect grammar in the above quote are part of the original article.

http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/power-players-abc-news/flooding-campaigns-secret-millions-101432066.html

In what is now a very familiar, oft repeated pattern of biased political slant and deception, this “news” report specifically names former President George W. Bush and his former adviser Karl Rove, commonly vilified as the worst type of criminals known to man within “progressive” circles in the first paragraph, but completely fails to ever mention the name of the biggest, long time financier of the institutionalized “progressive” left:

George Soros, who’s spent untold millions of his ill-gotten fortune funding such anti-American foundations as: The Open Society Institute, Human Rights Watch, the Shadow Democratic Party, Air America Radio (Now defunct, this was a self-identified “liberal” radio network), Alliance for Justice (Best known for its activism vis a vis the appointment of federal judges, this group consistently depicts Republican judicial nominees as ”extremists”), America Coming Together (Soros played a major role in creating this group, whose purpose was to coordinate and organize pro-Democrat voter-mobilization programs), America Votes (Soros also played a major role in creating this group, whose get-out-the-vote campaigns targeted likely Democratic voters), America’s Voice (This open-borders group seeks to promote “comprehensive” immigration reform that includes a robust agenda in favor of amnesty for illegal aliens), American Bar Association Commission on Immigration Policy (This organization “opposes laws that require employers and persons providing education, health care, or other social services to verify citizenship or immigration status”), American Civil Liberties Union (This group opposes virtually all post-9/11 national security measures enacted by the U.S. government. It supports open borders, has rushed to the defense of suspected terrorists and their abettors, and appointed former New Left terrorist Bernardine Dohrn to its Advisory Board), American Constitution Society for Law and Policy (This Washington, DC-based think tank seeks to move American jurisprudence to the left by recruiting, indoctrinating, and mobilizing young law students, helping them acquire positions of power. It also provides leftist Democrats with a bully pulpit from which to denounce their political adversaries), American Family Voices (This group creates and coordinates media campaigns charging Republicans with wrongdoing), American Federation of Teachers (After longtime AFT President Albert Shanker died in in 1997, he was succeeded by Sandra Feldman, who slowly “re-branded” the union, allying it with some of the most powerful left-wing elements of the New Labor Movement. When Feldman died in 2004, Edward McElroy took her place, followed by Randi Weingarten in 2008. All of them kept the union on the leftward course it had adopted in its post-Shanker period), American Friends Service Committee (This group views the United States as the principal cause of human suffering around the world. As such, it favors America’s unilateral disarmament, the dissolution of American borders, amnesty for illegal aliens, the abolition of the death penalty, and the repeal of the Patriot Act), American Immigration Council (This non-profit organization is a prominent member of the open-borders lobby. It advocates expanded rights and amnesty for illegal aliens residing in the U.S.), American Immigration Law Foundation (This group supports amnesty for illegal aliens, on whose behalf it litigates against the U.S. government), American Institute for Social Justice (AISJ’s goal is to produce skilled community organizers who can “transform poor communities” by agitating for increased government spending on city services, drug interdiction, crime prevention, housing, public-sector jobs, access to healthcare, and public schools).

This is only a tiny few of the Soros funded foundations. A much more comprehensive list can be found here: http://www.discoverthenetworks.org/viewSubCategory.asp?id=1237

In yet another display of open bias and unadulterated misrepresentation, the “new report” refers to the Sunlight Foundation as nonpartisan. The truth is, in 2011 the Sunlight Foundation received funding over $300,000.00 from Open Society Foundations as well as Open Society Institute, both of which are funded by George Soros. They have also received funding from the Ford Foundation, Rockefeller Family Fund, Pew Charitable Trusts, Rockefeller Brothers Fund, and Marc Cuban, as well as a plethora of other leftists and leftist organizations.

If Bill Allison is so concerned about “all of this money going into the political process”, he should first look at all the money that for decades has been going into the political process from promoters of the institutionalized “progressive” left. He should man up and realize that politics is a two way street.

ABC News, Yahoo News, Jonathan Karl, Avery Miller, Richard Coolidge, Sherisse Pham, and Gregory Simmons Lemos, should either stop spinning and whining or put in an application to work for MSNBC and/or Media Matters.

It is no secret that liberals have re-written most of our historical events, but the newest re-writing of history is more blatant than anything previously.

Starting with 1923, with the biography of President Calvin Coolidge, all but one Presidential Profile on the official government website has been re-written to add Obama’s “place in history” alongside that particular president.

Evidently history cannot stand without Obama’s agenda, so a new footnote section has been added on each of the revised biographies, entitled, “Did You Know?”

This discovery was made by the Heritage Foundation’s Rory Cooper, who said he originally found it “funny”, until he realized how many biographies had been changed. Mr. Cooper hit the twittersphere with the hashtag #ObamaInHistory, mocking Obama’s narcissism.

When asked about the additions to the Presidential Biographies, which were written by historian Michael Beschloss and journalist Hugh Sidey, a White House official, who spoke to the press on the condition of anonymity said:

“We simply added links at the bottom of each page to related whitehouse.govcontent, which is a commonly used best practice to encourage people to browse more pages on a site.”

Here are some examples of our new, re-written, Obama-agenda history:

On Feb. 22, 1924 Calvin Coolidge became the first president to make a public radio address to the American people. President Coolidge later helped create the Federal Radio Commission, which has now evolved to become the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). President Obama became the first president to hold virtual gatherings and town halls using Twitter, Facebook, Google+, LinkedIn, etc.

President Herbert Hoover signed the bill founding the Department of Veterans Affairs July 21, 1930. President Obama is committed to making sure that the VA, the second-largest cabinet department, serves the needs of all veterans and provides a seamless transition from active duty to civilian life, and has directed his Administration to modernize the way health care is delivered and benefits are administered for our nation’s veterans. First Lady Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden launched Joining Forces to mobilize all sectors of society to give our service members and their families the opportunities and support they have earned.

On August 14, 1935, President Roosevelt signed the Social Security Act. Today the Obama Administration continues to protect seniors and ensure Social Security will be there for future generations.

In a 1946 letter to the National Urban League, President Truman wrote that the government has “an obligation to see that the civil rights of every citizen are fully and equally protected.” He ended racial segregation in civil service and the armed forces in 1948. Today the Obama Administration continues to strive toward upholding the civil rights of its citizens, repealing Don’t Ask Don’t Tell, allowing people of all sexual orientations to serve openly in our armed forces. Source: Harry S. Truman Library and Museum

President John F. Kennedy famously suggested the American people: “Ask what you can do for your country.” In 1961, the Peace Corps was created, facilitating service among citizens working toward peace in developing countries. In 2011, President Obama celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Peace Corps with a Presidential Proclamation.

President Reagan designated Martin Luther King Jr. Day a national holiday; today the Obama Administration honors this tradition, with the First and Second Families participating in service projects on this day.

In a June 28, 1985 speech Reagan called for a fairer tax code, one where a multi-millionaire did not have a lower tax rate than his secretary. Today, President Obama is calling for the same with the Buffett Rule.

Last but not least, the man that Obama loves to blame the most, George W. Bush:

In 2002, President George W. Bush’s State of the Union was the first to be live broadcast on the Internet. In 2011 and 2012, President Obama’s State of the Union speeches were available in an enhanced live stream versionthat featured infographics, charts and data side-by-side in real time with the President’s speech.

In 2009, former President Bush partnered with 42nd President Clinton tohelp rebuild Haiti, after the country was devastated by an earthquake.

One thing is for certain: there doesn’t seem to be any other president in history that loved himself more than Barack Obama.

My opposition to Mitt Romney has drawn a great deal of criticism from a variety of people. It seems my vote is the only one in the nation that actually counts. While that is flattering in one respect I find it rather disingenuous in another respect. Why is it that my refusal to vote for the lesser of two evils is the only factor in the destruction of our once great nation? I find more than enough reasons to refuse to vote for Mitty the Poo, the all-white Obama, based on my Christian faith and Mitty’s propensity to deny his faith in almost everything he stands for politically.

I have a great faith in the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob to carry me through whatever evil comes my way. To me, voting isn’t a question of voting for the one who is less dangerous than the other. My vote is based on what I believe God would have me do, on the standards set by Him and recorded in the Holy Bible. I will vote based on who I believe to be in compliance with God’s Word and the Constitution of the United States of America, a document written by men who took much of the content from biblical principles and guidelines.

Mitty the Poo, the all-white Obama claims to be a Christian man, a Mormon. I don’t care which church he is affiliated with, that is not my concern. My concerns about Mitty go so much deeper. How can a man who proclaims to be a Christian support abortion on demand? God’s Word says that he “knew us before we were even in the womb”. Does that not accentuate the idea of life at conception to a Christian? I understand that there are cases that can be made for abortion in instances of rape, but that is not where Mitty stands on the issue. How can a “conservative Christian” support the joke of the “gay rights” issue? I don’t agree that homosexuals should be hung from the nearest tree but I don’t believe they should be given special rights not afforded to the rest of us either, and neither does God’s Word. How can a man who claims to believe in the Constitution not believe in the rights of We the People to keep and bear arms as stated in the Second Amendment? How can a conservative candidate support Obamacare, a travesty that Mitty actually authored and has supported for several years?

God’s Word tells us to stand strong on biblical principles and to live our lives by His core values. People who will vote for Mitty out of fear of Obama are neither putting their faith in God, nor their trust in His “divine providence”.

Voting out of fear brought Adolph Hitler to power in Germany. People feared another stint with the Weimar Republic and voted in a guy who promised to “fundamentally transform” Germany. We are facing the same situation today. People fear what Obama will do in a second term, rightfully so, but are not looking at the other choice realistically. The mantra is “anyone but Obama, as long as it is Mitty”, and discounting any other option.

I will not vote for Mitty the Poo, the all-white Obama in November. I WILL NOT COMPLY with the party-line “vote for our guy because he isn’t quite as dangerous as the other guy” mentality. You see, I find Mitty to be just as dangerous as Obama in many respects. In addition to the items listed earlier, Mitty also has been bought and paid for by George Soros and the New World Order cabal. In case you haven’t heard, Soros has publicly endorsed Mitty as the best candidate for the Republican Party. That is enough on its own merit to stop me from voting for him, but isn’t the only reason I stand on. I hear people make a big deal out of the Olympics and how Mitty “saved” the event. What people are surprised to learn when I mention it is that Mitty “saved” the Olympics with $450 million federal tax dollars given to him by George W. Bush. This same money was denied to Mitty’s predecessor. I find that rather curious. If the money was insignificant to the treasury but vital to the Olympics, why wasn’t the money given to the first guy, and who did this money actually go to? And when you go look at how he balanced the state budget without tax increases you will find a substantial “federal tax donation” to the state treasury.

I will cast my vote for a man who I believe will actually stand up to the New World Order globalists and defend the Constitution of the United States of America, and We the People, against all enemies foreign and domestic. I want a President I can believe will do what is right, not just “hope” he will do what is right.

Voting for the lesser of two evils and hoping for a better candidate next time is not the answer. I heard that, and bought into it, many years ago. I voted for Bob Dole, one of the worst candidates that has ever run for the office of President of the United States, but he was “better than the alternative and we could get a better candidate the next time around”. It worked once because we wound up with Ronald Reagan but hasn’t worked out so well since then. I bought it again four years ago when I voted for the McCain/Palin Republican Party ticket. I actually voted for Sarah Palin, hoping they would win and McCain would die of a heart attack the next day and leave Palin as the President. I think that much of John McCain, and I remember how Mitty ran second to McCain in 2008. Four years ago Mitty was less conservative than John McCain but now he is miraculously the most conservative candidate available? Naw, I’m not buying the same 3 legged horse again.

My vote will be cast for John Albert Dummett (www.johndummett.us), as a write-in candidate if necessary. Wasting my vote? Voting for Obama? Insuring Obama gets a second term? NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! I am exercising the discernment given to me by God and casting my vote for the man who will follow God’s Word and the Constitution rather than voting out of fear of another Obama term. I will vote for a man who will put what is best for the nation ahead of what is best for his cronies and the New World Order globalist cabal that so many of the Washington “elite” cater to.

I also hear the “he can’t win” line from people I talk to, and undoubtedly will hear the same from many who read this article. Can’t win? Why can’t he win? He “can’t win” because of all of the people in America who would rather vote for evil out of fear of the other evil running. Mitty the Poo doesn’t really have any support from conservative voters, and certainly not TEA Party people. If everyone who will vote for Mitty out of the fear of another four years of Obama would vote for John Dummett it would be a slam dunk win for conservative values, for God’s values, and for We the People. More importantly, it would be a victory for our children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

We can never regain our freedom by voting for the lesser of two evils. We the People can only win if we have the courage of our founding fathers. I wonder how many people said George Washington could never beat the British, armed with the strongest army and the strongest navy in the world at the time. I wonder how many people cheered Neville Chamberlain when he came back from Europe with a paper signed by Adolph Hitler that guaranteed “peace in our time”, a peace “guaranteed” by selling Czechoslovakia to Hitler? I wonder how many people were joyous of the pact signed between Hitler and Stalin that prevented Germany from invading Russia in World War II. Oh, wait a minute; don’t I remember reading that something went wrong there?

Signing contracts, including voting, with evil out of fear of a greater evil is not in the best interests of anyone, particularly the future of our nation. Our Republic is gone and nearly to the point of no return. We now live under a dictatorial oligarchy and are in danger of finding ourselves living under a tyranny akin to that of Nazi Germany, Soviet Russia, Cuba, North Korea, Iran, Venezuela, China, and many other repressive governments.

If you don’t have the courage to stand up for freedom now when will you find that courage? Will you stand and fight when they come for your bible, your guns, your food, or your home? Will you fight when they come to round your family up to be sent to the FEMA camps, also authorized under a Republican president and Congress? Or will you simply pack your one allowed suitcase and trod off to the slaughterhouse like the Jews did in Nazi Germany? Those willing to bow to tyranny out of fear now will not be willing to stand up for freedom when things get much worse. The Secret Service has already tried to intimidate Ted Nugent into submission over his remarks at the NRA convention a few weeks ago.

John Dummett (www.johndummett.us ) has received visits from the FBI, found his e-mail suddenly and mysteriously shut down, his computers hacked, and is receiving death threats. This is only the beginning. Those who believe things will be better under Mitty need to look at the last “conservative”/moderate president we elected. This “conservative”/moderate, along with a Republican Congress, and in addition to the FEMA camps, gave us the “Patriot” Act, Homeland Security, and the TSA. The last conservative/moderate Republican president did more to destroy our freedom than Bill Clinton. That “conservative”/moderate was George W. Bush.

Now is not the time to compromise with evil. Now is the time to stand up for freedom and vote for a man who is offering us a truly conservative platform. People who say I am wasting my vote or voting for Obama are wrong. Those voting out of fear of another Obama term are the ones wasting their votes. I am voting from a positive position, voting for a man I believe will follow through with what he promises and give us a presidency we can once again be proud of. I am voting for freedom now, not the hope that “someday” we will have an acceptable Republican candidate who will truly stand up for the values of God and our founding fathers.

Today, more than ever, we need a staunch conservative voice in the White House. We need more staunch conservative voices in Congress. John McCain, Orin Hatch, Mitch McConnell, Lindsey Graham, John Boehner, Eric Cantor, and the others who routinely ignore the Constitution in favor of Barack Obama, Harry Reid, and Nancy Pelosi are not leaders. They are only interested in currying favor with despots to keep their seat in the back of Obama’s tyranny bus. All of the dictatorships I listed earlier have their parliaments or congresses but they are only rubber stamps of a dictator, men and women who will do whatever they have to do to keep their seats of power, wealth, and prestige.

We can no longer afford to vote out of fear. Our nation is teetering on the brink of outright dictatorship and appeasing despots never works out well for the pawns in the appeasement. We the People must show the courage of our founding fathers and those who have sacrificed their lives to preserve our freedom over the last 236 years. Voting for Mitty the Poo is appeasement, trying to curry favor with New World Order globalists who have nothing more than their own power. Voting for John Albert Dummett is a vote for freedom now and in the future.

Predictions for the outcome of the election in November are starting to sprout up all over. It’s still a bit early to make any truly accurate ones, so this is what you call the “what if” and “wishful thinking” phase of pundit prognosticating. Given the state of the economy, it is no wonder that there are already those that are predicting a GOP landslide, like Michael Patrick Leahy suggests.

Fibonacci Blue (CC)

I like Leahy, and agree whole-heartedly that the Tea Party activists are the most likely group to push voter registration efforts over the top for the GOP. One little glimmer of light in this is the fact that the RNC appears to have finally recognized the need to focus efforts on social media. Hopefully it’s not a matter of “too little, too late”, and that the RNC also looks to officially leverage the pre-existing conservative social networks on Twitter. But, that is another matter entirely.

Back to Leahy, I’m not quite as sure about his contentions about how the election will go. The primary problem is recognizing the mentality of the voters on election day. If this election is driven by fear, the GOP will have a rough time of it. Voters that cast ballots based on fear of the future do not follow anything resembling logic. When times are tough, they often swing toward incumbents, even though conventional wisdom screams otherwise. The best concept to compare this to is “Stockholm Syndrome.” Ironically enough, Democrats may blame John Kerry’s loss in 2004 on this mentality. Bush was familiar, and even though he may have been the cause of the ills in this nation in the minds of liberals, the moderates still voted for him, if for no other reason, out of fear of change. Well, at least that’s how a few left-wing pundits would probably put it.

So, fear driving the vote would not be a good thing. Anger, on the other hand, would be much better. If one spends even a few minutes watching posts with any of the various conservative hashtags on Twitter, it’s obvious that the “I’m mad as hell, and I’m not going to take it anymore” attitude is alive and well. But, in order to turn that anger into results at the polls in November, the RNC needs to do much more than just play with Facebook. Enter the Tea Party, that isn’t dead, and is already on the ground as a regionally organized grassroots movement. If Obama gets a second term, it will be because the RNC doesn’t suck it up, and ask for the help of the Tea Party to get out the vote. That’s my little early prediction. The Tea Party is literally gifted at getting voters frothing at the mouth, and they have the ability to go out in the communities to get voters registered and to the polls. This isn’t rocket science. But, it will take quite a few swallows of pride. Now to see if the RNC is willing to do that.

Bush in the middle of the night, no less? Well, it turns out that this tweet sparked it:

I find myself intrigued with Ron Paul on a regular basis. The man can get up and say some of the most patriotic and sensible things in one sentence and then in the next sentence sound like he just came out of an insane asylum. Paul has great ideas when it comes to fiscal responsibility, spending, freedom, and the Federal Reserve. On the other side of the coin, though, his ideas on foreign policy leave me wondering where he left his brain, or if he has one that is properly balanced. When he speaks of fiscal issues he sounds like Ronald Reagan. When he speaks of foreign policy he sounds like Hugo Chavez and even to the left of Barack Obama.

When I hear him speak of auditing or eliminating the FED I stand up and cheer. The Federal Reserve is a non-governmental entity that is destroying our economy by printing money that has essentially no value, thereby lowering the value of the dollar and guaranteeing severe inflation in the very near future. The FED also has virtually no oversight from anyone in Congress. Paul is also correct in his assessment of federal government spending. We cannot keep spending money borrowed from China for building IHOP restaurants, studying ants in New Zealand, teaching African men how to wash their genitals after sex, and certainly can’t keep borrowing to prop up European countries.

I also agree with much of his stand on Iraq and Afghanistan, not to mention Libya, Sudan, Yemen, and the other third world hell holes Obama is involving us in. Fighting a war against Islamic terrorists is one thing but this “nation building” farce is only a boon for the military industrial complex and is not helping any aspect of our national security interests. We are wasting money and lives in a venture that will fail because it isn’t about winning a war; it is about being politically correct and propping up a puppet government. As we are leaving Iraq we see the sectarian slaughter returning.

Sunni and Shiite Muslims have been butchering each other for centuries and we are not going to stop it. Until these stone-age animals decide to live like human beings nothing we do is going to change anything. All we do is put our soldiers in the line of fire with a no-win policy that puts their lives in danger with rules of engagement that are insane.

While closing military bases all across the United States we build and expand bases throughout the world. While we are “helping Afghan police and military close their borders to invaders” we leave our own borders wide open to drug cartels and the very Islamic terrorists we are fighting in far off lands.

Ron Paul makes quite a stir when he talks about “legalizing drugs”. I don’t remember everything he has said about drugs but I do know he has some valid points here also. The “war on drugs” has been going on for 50 years and has cost taxpayers billions in wasted money. Not only have we not solved the problem of illegal drugs; this “war” has made it worse. Most of Paul’s position has more to do with leaving this issue to the states, not legalizing drugs wholesale as the story is reported. Ron Paul is a strong states’ rights advocate, as am I. It only took the politicians 14 years to see the problems caused by Prohibition and repeal the 18th Amendment. The war on drugs has been going on for 50 years with the same results we saw during Prohibition. I don’t condone legalizing all drugs but I see a colossal failure that could be handled better at the state level.

Paul has the same ideas on abortion; let the states decide how they want to handle this issue. I agree with him on this matter. If it isn’t in the Constitution the federal government has no business sticking their nose into it. Every time a person or group doesn’t get their way at the state level they run to the federal government to override the states, the place where these issues should be decided. I see abortion as murder, and see murder as a state issue not a federal one.

I hear all of the things Paul writes and says about these issues and I jump up and cheer him on. Then he begins to talk about foreign policy and I scream out in pain. Paul is just as bad as Barack Obama when it comes to blaming America for every ill in the world. I have a cousin who worked in the building demolition business years ago and I had several opportunities to see the activities involved in blowing a building up, or rather imploding them. When I hear Ron Paul talk about 9/11 being an inside job I want to choke his scrawny little neck.

The idea that the World Trade Center was taken down by internally placed explosives is ludicrous to anyone who has even a scant knowledge of building implosions. The amount of work necessary to drill into pillars, place the explosives, wire them together, and tie everything to a detonator cannot be accomplished in a building with thousands of people walking in and out all day every day. A building that size isn’t brought down on itself with a satchel charge tossed into an elevator. The idea that the Bush Administration was involved in setting up the hijackings is equally ludicrous and statements by Ron Paul and his supporters on this issue shows they are well outside the realm of sane or intelligent thought.

While Ron Paul has some very good ideas about what is needed to restore The Republic of the United States of America, he has more than enough crazy ideas to make him a danger to every person in this country. I would love to see Ron Paul be the next Treasury Secretary or Chairman of the Federal Reserve but to put this man in the White House would endanger our nation almost as much as re-electing Barack Obama.

We need a very strong leader with strong conservative values. We need someone who will articulate the conservative message and have the courage of his/her convictions. Now is not the time for waffling or being concerned about “diversity” or “inclusiveness”. The only answer to our nation’s problems is a conservative approach that relies on the Constitution that our founding fathers fought the Revolutionary War to make possible. Anything less will result in the demise of a once great nation and the rise of another Third World banana republic with a dictator such as Adolph Hitler or Hugo Chavez. Ron Paul is not the man for the job.

I submit this in the name of the most Holy Trinity, in faith, with the responsibility given to me by Almighty God to honor His work and not let it die from neglect.

Clicking the link in that tweet will take you all the way back to 2006 when Nancy Peolosi disparaged George W. Bush’s progress with unemployment. The snapshot, while sad, is funny because Barack Obama would probably love to see unemployment at 4.4% under his watch (a sight that is sure to not happen).

I’d like to thank @keder and @guypbenson for bringing bringing our attention to today’s brilliant tweet.

What do you guys think? Will Barack Obama see 4.4% unemployment? Is this an example of what a partisan hack Pelosi is? Or was this all Bush’s fault anyway? (that’s what my current president keeps telling me) Let us know in the comments below. Or on Facebook. Or if you’re really nice, I might give you the mayor of Oakland’s phone number, so you can share your comments with her. “CDN Cares”
