From the Desk of Barack Obama

Dear Terrorists and other enemies of the USA around the world

I just wanted to drop you a line, and remind you how hard I have been working here in Washington to make things easier for you. Thanks to the recent ruling by the Court here, I’ll be ignoring our southern border – I don’t really care about that crazy woman out in Arizona. While I can’t give arms to the drug cartels anymore, I have no plans to give in to the GOP on Fast and Furious. Of course, if it becomes necessary, I have no qualms about hanging Holder out to dry.

Donkey Hotey (CC)

Also, the media is on top of demonizing the opposition. And I’ve started assembling lawyers to contest the results, if the election doesn’t go exactly my way. I’ve even got groups to silence conservatives on Twitter, and have a team dedicated to bullying webhosts into shutting down websites of my detractors.

It’s true that the FBI is keeping tabs on extremists in the military, but that simply can’t be helped. That’s just too noticeable to allow. But, there is still the lack of security on the Mexican border in your favor. And that is costing me votes – not to mention, it’s making a majority of Americans think I actually want to encourage illegal immigration. Too bad you only managed to train a Norwegian man as an operative. But, he shouldn’t have any difficulty sneaking into the US over either border. He could probably just fly in anyway. It’s not like I’m demanding efficiency or competency from the TSA.

But, one thing is, I really do need you to act soon. It can’t be too close to the elections here in November, because that might be too suspicious. And I’ll need time to muster up some sympathy, and get the message out there that we need to be a united nation against the threat. Obviously, we don’t want to let the people know that it was all constructed by me in the first place, so make sure you have control of your people. Well, that probably isn’t a problem, because you probably aren’t telling them that you’re conspiring with me in the first place!

Sincerely
Barack H. Obama

**Obviously, this is not an actual letter from our President to unnamed terrorists. Well, here’s hoping that he’s never actually written anything like this! If he had, no doubt he would say that it is protected by Executive Privilege.

Fast and Furious and Further Proof That the Obama Administration Is Delusional

Yes, we’ve been saying it all along that Obama and the three-ring circus, otherwise known as his administration, and the Democrats on the Hill, are absolutely delusional. In what should be a futile attempt to protect Attorney General Eric Holder, Nancy Pelosi stepped in it yet again.

Yes, she really is that stupid. No, Nancy, this doesn’t have a damn thing to do with the latest manufactured nonsense from the Democrats about voter suppression. This is about the fact that there is a mother and father out there that wants to know the truth about what happened to their son. But hey, I guess we can give you a pass on the finer points here, since the Obama Administration in general can’t seem to remember that border patrol agent’s name in the first place.

His name is Brian Terry, and he was killed with weapons that Attorney General Eric Holder authorized to be sent across the border, and handed to drug cartels in Mexico. It’s one name, and it’s been repeated countless times in the past 18 months. We all know you’re all a little mentally inept there in the White House, but really? Well, maybe you should get a pass on that as well, since even your own mouthpieces in the press can’t get the story straight.

I guess we can take at least a little solace in the fact that AG Holder was finally cornered on his little blame game. Yes, he finally did acknowledge under oath that “Fast and Furious” was not the same as “Wide Receiver”, but given the history of this administration so far, don’t expect that is the end of the “Blame Bush” meme on this case.

Now, if we expect the Obama Administration to be honest about this case, we’re just as delusional as they are. Perhaps the most disturbing fact in all of this is the apathy surrounding the situation. While it should be, it is not being compared with Watergate. We should be listening to men like Fred Thompson, and more importantly, acting. No, “Fast and Furious” is not a distraction. Yes, the Romney campaign should be focusing primarily on the economy, however some time should be dedicated to this case. It is not just about getting closure for Brian Terry’s family. It is about an administration that has overstepped the bounds, and placed our border patrol personnel in jeopardy. It is about a pervasive arrogance that has consumed not only this administration, but also the political left in this country in general.

I’ve only barely scratched the surface here with this little round-up of information and clips this week. It probably isn’t the last time I’ll say anything about this, but in the meantime, I strongly suggest that you educate yourselves, and read Katie Pavlich’s book below.

Vast Right Wing Conspiracy Part Duh

Apparently suffering the long term effects of habitual Botox abuse, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi again defied the grounding gravity of logic to concoct a thread bare story trying to tie Wednesday’s contempt of Congress proceedings in the House of Representatives to unproven allegations of voter suppression.

“It is no accident; it is no coincidence that the attorney general of the United States is the person responsible for making sure that voter suppression does not happen in our country, that issues that relate to the civil liberties of the American people are upheld.  These very same people who are holding him in contempt are part of a nationwide scheme to suppress the vote.  This is part of the scheme that the right-wing over-the-edge — and I don’t think that all Republicans subscribe to this — but the over-the-edge gang, which dominates the House of Representatives.” said Pelosi in her weekly news conference.

Revealing yet another portion of the chamber of horrors that is her power obsessed mind, Pelosi channeled Hillary Clinton, experiencing a vicarious flashback to Clinton’s infamous “vast right wing conspiracy” moment.

Never mind that there are hundreds of Mexicans and an American Border Control Agent dead as the result of sophisticated automatic weapons ending up in the hands of known, hardened criminals.  It should not matter to voters that this is a result of the current administration’s irresponsible, scandalous Fast and Furious gun walking operation.  Finding out how that happened and who is ultimately responsible for those deaths is not important.

Changing the subject to a fabricated conspiracy theory that attempts to put Republicans on the political defensive, while distracting from “progressive” failures in both the Executive and Legislative branches to address the very real economic problems in America is what matters.

Actor Morgan Freeman has said the effort to clean up voter fraud is all about disenfranchising minority voters: “My point is that women, Hispanics, blacks, there is a large attempt, a great attempt, at disenfranchisement. I mean, it’s right out in the open. I’m not, you know, this isn’t like breaking news or anything. Why is that?”

Forget that in States where voter rolls have been more closely inspected the names of people dead for years, sometimes decades, are discovered to be still on those rolls.  Further investigation of registered voter information has revealed names registered at addresses that turn out to be vacant lots or gasoline filling stations.  Integrity, honesty, accuracy, ensuring that American Citizens retain confidence in the electoral process; none of those require attention.

What is important is to play the race card in a desperate attempt to invigorate sagging voter interest within the “progressive” political base.

If “progressives” are going to insist on continuing their smear campaign against Conservatives with innuendos and unproven accusations of voter suppression regardless of the facts; if “progressives” are going to protect voter registration irregularities at every turn, then Conservatives should start fighting fire with fire.

Since it should now be painfully obvious that partisan “progressive” political interests trump voter integrity, Conservatives should quit crying foul and get in the game.

Conservatives, especially those racist, violent right wing extremists in that fringe radical Tea Party movement, should coordinate with their oh so close, bosom buddies and deep pocketed financiers, the Koch brothers, to fund the importation of millions of Conservative voters from around the world into America.  “progressives” “know” that those evil Koch brothers have enough money to buy the planet several times over, so the funds required to finance such a move will probably come out of petty cash.

Imagine the display of shock, dismay and angst amongst “progressives’ should the White House refuse to grant 800,000 temporary work visas to any of the innocents between the ages of 18 and 30 who through no fault of their own, were brought to America as a byproduct of the operation.

Should “progressives” cry foul over the illegal importation of millions of people who disagree with their “vision for America”, those protestations will unequivocally be based solely upon race hatred, as will all protestations presented against policy initiatives resulting from a Mitt Romney election to the White House.

If “progressives” demand that every voter identify themselves with a photo ID to ensure that Conservative illegal aliens are not using the names of dead people to vote in American elections, the obvious motivate will clearly be a desire to re-institutionalize Jim Crow style voter suppression that enjoyed widespread acceptance among “progressive” Democrats following post-Civil War Reconstruction in the south.

If the “progressive” candidate for office enjoys a slim lead in a hotly contested race, Conservatives should then file lawsuits demanding that “all the votes be counted” to buy themselves enough time to “find” a “somehow misplaced” box stuffed with provisional ballots that swing the election results in favor of the Conservative…then quickly move to have the counting stopped and the election certified.  Ideally, the result of the race would give Conservatives a filibuster proof majority in the U.S. Senate and allow full repeal of the contemptuously passed, ill advised, intentionally misrepresented, clearly misnamed “Affordable” Care Act.

That will be a good first step towards leveling the playing field.

Now can we finally get back to what matters most to the majority of Americans, like where and how to find a job?

Chris Matthews Can’t Play Hard Ball

Chris Mathews

Conservatives love to get a good laugh out of Chris Matthews, who is the doofy host of MSNBC’s Hard Ball & The Chris Matthews Show. We especially get a good laugh when laugh when he says something incredibly ridiculous. We laugh even harder when he says something incredibly ridiculous-and means it.

The funny thing is, he said something ridiculous last night-and he meant it.  Also, I laughed.

Here’s the backdrop behind the story: Fast & Furious. A gun running operation in which the DOJ sent un-authorized firearms and illegal drugs south of the US border into Mexico in order to find out where they would turn up, so that they could then in turn track them back to the cartels.

The scheme came to light when Border Patrol agent Brian Terry was killed by one of the very fire arms which was distributed by the DOJ during operation Fast & Furious.  That outcome alone deserves the termination of every DOJ employee who was involved in the botched operation.

That was early 2011, we are now in June 2012. Yesterday, the house oversight committee voted to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt for not producing documents about the gun running operation. This followed a Executive Privilege move by President Obama.

Then comes Chris Matthews.

“I don’t want to start too much forest fire here but it is my instinct: is this ethnic? It smells like it to me and I think there is a disdain on the part of some Republicans . . . that do talk down to the president and his friends.”

His guest, Brown, had earlier accused Issa, who lead the contempt hearings, of “leading a lynch-like mob” against Holder, earlier in the show.

Holder played the same card in December.

“This is a way to get at the president because of the way I can be identified with him. Both due to the nature of our relationship and, you know, the fact that we’re both African-American.”

Now, let’s look at these statements here, shall we? First off, it’s  racist to assume that every attack from a Caucasian onto an African America is race motivated.  It’s extremely racist, and we see straight through your ploy, Chris Matthews & Eric Holder. In fact, to use race as your first response in this situation, in my mind, is just as racist as a racial hate crime itself.

Notice who the true superstar of the day was, in the Conservative base it was Representative Trey Gowdy. Gowdy personally blew me away.  In one of his talking points, he nailed the point of the investigation on the head. He explained the true reason why it the investigation needed to be pressed forward, aside from politics. While Conservatives cheer on Gowdy, Liberals attack Issa.

Hundreds of Mexicens are dead, one of our own Border Patrol agents is dead and all because of a DOJ operation. Now, we have an Attorney General who is being held in contempt, and the entire time, the Left is blaming all of this on racial hate.

Admit it, Matthews & Holder. It’s not about race, Gowdy defined it. This is about justice. Whether Fast & Furious was put in place by Bush or Obama, justice needs to be served, and Eric Holder is responsible for the DOJ. Time to accept responsibility.

Oh, and Chris. If you host a show named Hard Ball, don’t use the race card when the going gets tough.

Bombshell Video! They knew in 2009

“Under the President’s leadership,” opens Deputy Attorney General David Ogden in a White House press briefing from March 2009.

Ogden and Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano take nearly 4 minutes explaining the efforts at the Mexican border to curb violence and unlawfulness. The two clearly outline how under the direction of the President, the Department of Justice was to increase gun tracing.

The Right Scoop has the video here:

What did they know and when did they know it? Thanks to their own words, (and The Right Scoop for reminding us) we know it was before March 2009… long before the murder of Brian Terry.

Introducing: Richard M. obama

obama-upset

Then Senator obama routinely criticized President George W. Bush for his use of executive privilege. Not surprisingly now that obama is sitting in the Oval Office, his views on the topic have changed…entirely.

Ladies and gentlemen, introducing: Richard M. obama

As was the case with disgraced President Richard M. Nixon, who resigned over participation in the infamous Watergate cover up, the current White House occupant has determined there is enough to hide from the public that it’s time to play the executive privilege card.

What a refreshing switch from playing either the race card or the class warfare card. However, under these newly created circumstances and given the track record of the current administration and its political allies, do not believe for a second that playing one of those cards might inevitably become necessary.

U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder has been stonewalling for the past year, refusing to disclose what he and the Department of Justice know about the failed Fast and Furious gun running scandal. Holder has ignored subpoenas while obstructing repeated attempts to obtain important information. It has gotten so bad that Holder is seen as being in contempt of Congress.

What is Holder hiding that is so important that his boss and friend in the White House would risk his entire reputation, as did Nixon, by invoking executive privilege?

As is the case of obama’s personal records (his birth certificate being the most famous), all of which were sealed from public view via executive order on his first day in office, there is definitely information the Chief Executive of the United States needs kept hidden from the general public. This conclusion is not a surprising one. In fact, that is his track record.

If there was never any White House involvement in the failed Fast and Furious gun running operation, which led to the death of hundreds of Mexican civilians and the death of Federal Agent Brian Terry, how is executive privilege justified?

Did the White House know that hundreds of sophisticated automatic weapons were being allowed, with the blessings of the DOJ, to walk across the American/Mexican border in the hands of ruthless, mass murdering criminals? Was this part of a master plan to intentionally inflate the number of American made weapons being found in the hands of drug cartel members at crime scenes, thereby justifying the imposition of gun control in America? Not so coincidently, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton had been making statements insinuating such an objective just prior to news about Fast and Furious coming to light.

The imposition of gun control so strict as to violate the Second Amendment has long been sought by card carrying members of the big government, central planning, control the people leftist fringe, including the fringe leftist currently sitting in the Oval Office.

Holder has a track record of supporting south and central American drug criminals. He has a track record of selective prosecution of American laws based on race, personal and political bias. Holder should be in prison for violating his oath of office. So should his co-conspirators, no matter how far up the food chain they go.

Holder Held in Contempt, Yet Fast & Furious Not Going Away

Holder Announces That 9/11 Suspects To Be Tried At Guantanamo

It was a raucous day of hearings on Capitol Hill, as one Republican after another blasted Eric Holder for withholding thousands of documents related to the bloody “Fast and Furious” scandal. The day culminated in the 23-17 vote to hold the Attorney General in contempt of Congress.

The resolution was passed along pure party lines. Of course, it will be the Republicans accused of being ‘partisan’ and ‘political,’ but not the Democrats. The mainstream media are already in full spin mode, but one wonders how much damage they will do attacking the Republicans, while continuing not to report on the substance of the scandal.

Earlier in the day, Attorney General Holder had requested, and was granted, “executive privilege” by the Obama administration not to turn over the subpoenaed documents. As Heritage Foundation’s Todd Gaziano rightly points out, the precedent of United States v. Nixon implies that the executive branch cannot withhold documents citing “executive privilege” for the purpose of shielding wrongdoing.

However, some bloggers and pundits are claiming that such obstruction implies that the White House should be assumed as implicated in the scandal. This is a fallacious assumption, as Gaziano points out in his article.

Attorney General Holder, despite all his lies and self-contradiction, cannot be iron-clad guaranteed as having played a part in the scandal from its inception to its presumed termination. But one thing is for certain: the Attorney General’s refusal to turn over thousands of documents in reasonably unredacted form makes it impossible to find out all the relevant facts of Operation Fast and Furious. And regardless of the outcome of any full investigation, Holder is to some extent professionally responsible.

If the American people deserve accountability, as many Democrats and the Justice department claim to support, then let’s have it. This was the general theme of today’s hearings, and much of the apparent grandstanding was insistence on this supposedly agreed-upon and reasonable point.  And for any media outlet or the Democrat Party to call the Republican Party ‘partisan’ for insisting on transparency and accountability, regarding a bloody international incident leading to hundreds of Mexicans’ deaths, as well as that of border patrol agent Brian Terry, is simply beyond-the-pale as a smokescreen for an increasingly lawless presidency.

In many ways, today’s contempt vote was a small victory for the conservative and independent blogosphere, because the Fast and Furious scandal would most likely have been swept under the Oval Office rug if the mainstream media had their druthers. But we “just bloggers” have been dogged in holding not only the government accountable, as the major news media routinely fail to do; we have also remained determined to hold an out-of-control media complex accountable for failing to report accurately on certain political elites of a particular political party.

But very few are cheering for merely holding Eric Holder in contempt. Perhaps there would be only brief celebration even if he were to be impeached. The sheer magnitude of Fast and Furious as a political scandal, with all its dark implications for the organized left’s case to ratify an international small arms treaty, leads us to the somber and sobering conclusion that we have a segment of our own government that not only refuses to act humanely and obey the laws of the land, but would outright lie and obstruct to our faces even when caught red-handed. That is why Fast and Furious is not going away as a scandal; not even if the Republicans hold the entire Obama administration in contempt.

The historical record will show that the failed gunrunning operation Fast and Furious, which saw drug lords armed by the ATF with the U.S. government’s assistance, and hundreds of people killed due to an unlikely degree of negligence, will go down as one of the darkest pages in this country’s history. It was undoubtedly pre-meditated, calculated, and cruel. It smacks of an Alinsky-type “ends justify the means” operation designed to justify infringing on our Second Amendment rights. And when the full light of day shines on the scope and depth of this supposedly botched operation, the true contempt will finally come to be seen: that of an elected government for the American people.

Senator Obama Scolded Bush Over Executive Privilege Use

obama holder

As the House Oversight Committee moves to a vote today on whether or not to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt over the infamous gun-running program, Fast and Furious, President Obama has claimed executive privilege in an attempt to shield Holder.

The power of executive privilege, while not expressly granted in the Constitution, has been upheld by the Supreme Court and allows the president and certain members of the executive branch to not answer to certain types of charges, such as the Congressional subpoena, that the legislative and judicial branches may try to bring.

However, as Judge Andrew Napolitano noted on Fox News earlier today, this may ultimately hurt both Holder and Obama, as in order for executive privelege to apply, the president must be personally involved. This counters statements that Holder made during Congressional testimony.

Executive privilege has only been exercised 25 times since Reagan’s presidency, most frequently by Bill Clinton, who exercised the privilege 12 times. During his presidency, George W. Bush utilized the power 6 times. Unfortunately for President Obama, in 2007, he appeared on CNN and told Larry King that Bush’s use of the privilege was not a good reason to withhold information from Congress. Then-Senator Obama criticized Bush for hiding behind the power, and stated that the American people deserve to know the truth.

Apparently in Obama’s eyes, the same high standards of transparency Congress and the American people deserve don’t apply in this situation.

Executive Privilege

obama holder

Whew. Attorney General Eric Holder was able to loosen the noose around his neck this morning. His eleventh hour appeal to boss Obama was granted giving him Executive Privilege in the Fast and Furious case.Read Holder’s letter here.

In granting this order the White House stated that President Bush used Executive Privilege during his presidency. They fail to remember the outrage by Democrats and the media when this happened. Even if what Bush did was wrong didn’t their momma ever tell them that two wrongs don’t make a right? Isn’t it time to stop blaming Bush and start explaining this administrations actions?

The death of Border Agent Brian Terry over one and a half years ago should have been resolved with questions answered quickly and truthfully. Who originally authorized this program? What was its true purpose? There are many who speculate gun running would prove that most guns being used by cartels in Mexico were from the US which would bring public support to stronger gun laws. How far up the Justice Department did it go? Did knowledge of this program go into the administration? Who signed off on such a potentially dangerous idea? Who lied when the first letter from the Obama administration was sent to Congress denying any knowledge of Fast and Furious–a letter which was proven untrue by the House Oversight Committee? How far does this cover-up go? What does Executive Privilege do to keep us from finding out the truth.

People should be angry. This program did not make Americans safer. In fact, many would argue that purposely selling weapons to men of ‘questionable character’ has  done nothing but add to the violence along the border. However, it appears that many viewers of the left leaning media are still woefully uninformed about the Fast and Furious gunrunning program.

Today, as the news channels are forced to report on this tragic tale of woeful incompetence average citizens may start to learn about a terrible program, apparently run at very high levels, that went terribly wrong. Hopefully, they will begin asking questions about this program. When they do which truly non-biased reporters will give them all the gory details?

Here are a few key details to share with your awakened friends:

  • Fast and Furious is not the same as the Bush era Operation Wide Receiver. Notably, Wide Receiver was a gun tracing program run with the knowledge and assistance of the Mexican government. During Fast and Furious Mexican officials were kept out of the loop.
  • Fast and Furious weapons are linked to one killed Border Patrol Agent and over 300 Mexican deaths.
  • Sending guns across the border to Mexico was part of the Fast and Furious plan. Losing track of them, maybe not so much.
  • Much of the current debate about Fast and Furious is not the program itself but a possible cover-up. A letter sent to Congress denying knowledge of the program by Holder’s office was eventually retracted, over one year later.

White House Rebuffs Calls for a Special Prosecutor

Despite calls from Senators John Cornyn, John McCain and Lindsey Graham, the Justice Department continues to resist calls for appointment of a special prosecutor to investigate national security leaks said to be coming from inside the White House. The Senators view Attorney General Eric Holder’s decision to appoint two Justice Department legal insiders to the investigation as insufficient.

The White House remains in support of Holder. The official word from press secretary Jay Carney is that “there is no need for a special counsel. These things have consistently been investigated when that’s appropriate”.

Holder’s troubles are not isolated to the national security leaks investigation. Holder is also under legal attack for the failed Fast and Furious firearms fiasco. Despite Holder’s possibly facing contempt of Congress charges next week, Carney relayed the “absolute confidence” the White House still has in Holder.

This “no special prosecutor” position stands in stark contrast to the position held by then Senators obama and Biden when it came to investigating the Iraq war policy. Or when it came to calling for the firing of U.S. attorneys. Or reviewing conditions at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center. And especially when it came to discovering who leaked Valerie Plame and Joseph Wilson’s identities. All of which took place during George W. Bush’s presidency.

Not to mention special prosecutor Archibald Cox, who was appointed to investigate the Watergate scandal.

It would seem that, as usual, when the left commits perceived offenses, it’s perfectly appropriate for them to police themselves. But when there are similar perceptions of offenses committed by those on the right, that’s a completely different story.

Holder’s stonewalling of the Fast and Furious congressional investigation is not only straight out of the Richard M. Nixon play book, it is more egregious. Although ultimately the ongoing investigation resulted in the removal of a sitting President from office for his role in the Watergate burglary and ensuing cover-up, nobody died due to decisions made or actions taken by Nixon and his lieutenants.

It is alleged that by allowing hundreds of highly sophisticated automatic weapons to walk across the U.S./Mexican border and into the hands of criminal drug cartels, the Holder led Department of Justice contributed to the death of hundreds of Mexican civilians and murder of U.S. Border Agent Brian Terry. This is an extremely serious charge. The truth must be uncovered. If this allegation is true, Eric Holder should go to prison, instead of being allowed to harass multiple state governments with frivolous, racist lawsuits. To hold to the notion that Eric Holder is capable of dispassionate logic in pursuit of fact in the face of such a clear conflict of interest is incongruous.

That the White House is standing behind Holder in stone walling the cover up of information is not surprising. When are the college records, medical records, travel records, etc of the current White House occupant going to be brought to light?

Will obama and Holder agree to appoint a special prosecutor? If they do and the going gets dicey, is the United States going to be submitted to a replay of the Archibald Cox firing drama? Will there be the Saturday Night Massacre, part two?

It would not be in the least bit surprising to see the White House let this drag out through the summer as a means of distracting from their own dismal record. It would also be true to form to see Holder go the way of many of obama’s once political allies. The moment Holder’s presence becomes too much of a political liability to the full time, win at all costs candidate he will become persona non grata faster than you can say: “Our long national nightmare is over”.
