Joe Dan Gorman brings his analysis of the week’s scandals – IRS, AP, and Benghazi. Of course he also explores the incestuous relationship between the Obama Administration and the mainstream media, as well. Don’t miss this one!

Attorney General Eric Holder is in the hot seat today and he seems to be melting. I’ve been watching it for hours so you don’t have to and I’ve condensed his answers into two sentences that will give you the gist of his testimony. And remember, he’s under oath.
“Let me be very very very very very very very very very clear. I don’t know.” Followed by a little, “That was a Bush appointee”.
I just summed up like six hours of testimony for you. You’re welcome.
Mostly what we’ve learned today is that Holder does nothing and knows nothing so he can be held responsible for nothing. But we should continue to pay him to do nothing and know nothing because racism. Also, it’s Bush’s fault.
Though it was mostly Holder’s voice on repeat saying, “I don’t know…let me be clear…I don’t know,” there were a few highlights in the testimony. Darrell Issa, having apparently tired of the constant obfuscation, pressed Holder to actually answer a question at which point the Attorney General of the United States collapsed into a full on temper tantrum, saying Issa’s “conduct” as “a member of congress” was “unacceptable and shameful”.
Representative Hank Johnson, when not wringing his hands over the possibility of Guam tipping over, expressed his frustration with the talk of Fast and Furious and Benghazi and wished everyone would focus on “real issues”. Because top government officials being directly responsible for the deaths of Americans isn’t nearly as real as that retarded squirrel Johnson is allowing to grow on his chin.
The greatest question so far came from Congressman Trent Franks. He took on the Left’s love of baby butchery by saying, “[Abortion is a] heartless disgrace that cannot be described by the vocabulary of man”. He then went on to ask Holder, “Have you ever enforced the Born Alive Infant Protection Act even one time? After 18,000 opportunities?” In news that shocks no one, Holder stuttered and stumbled and could not answer the question. In stunning proof of the Left’s anti-life ideology, Holder did manage to sneak in a jab at President Bush, but could not defend his refusal to prosecute any of the 18,000 violations of the Born Alive Infant Protection Act.
Holder is still being questioned even as I type, so while we can call this story “developing”, it’s fairly safe to assume it won’t develop much beyond, “I don’t know”, “Bush’s fault”, and “racism”.
Just a few thoughts brought to you by me and Tj Thompson. Enjoy.
Let’s just stop all the PC nonsense and bull and state the truth: If the two Islamic terrorist scumbags were not Islamists, but “Mazel Tov” cheering Jews or Bible-bearing Christians, the living bomber and his terror-supporting cohorts would have been placed before a firing squad by now on the grounds of racism, hate, terror, and intolerable biblical religious beliefs!
The fact the terrorists are Islamists makes them poster boys for apologetic “tolerance” toward Islam and its violent threat to the world.
Because both Boston terrorists were Islamists is further grounds for President Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder to demand Americans ignore reality: Islamists and Islam is violent, and demand Americans not view an entirely violent religion as violent.
The fact these two Islamic brothers blew up a Boston street full of people they maimed and murdered is not grounds for Obama or Holder to call for the death penalty. After all, it’s not as if these two brothers were obnoxious Israel-supporting Jews who assume Jews have some right to live peacefully on this earth.
Let’s face it, if the 9/11 terrorists had been Jews screaming “Mazel Tov” as they flew planes into buildings, murdering thousands, the Left would have demanded America ban all Jewish holidays and Jews in America. And Israel would have been wiped off the map. Because Islam attacked America, we infidels are to tolerate our slaughters, while asking forgiveness because America asked for it, so “Mazel Tov!”
Even if the surviving Boston Bomber is given the death penalty–which I suspect that is highly unlikely, because he is Islamist, not Jewish or Christian, and America needs more college professors now that Black Panthers, cop killers, and Washington, D.C. bombers are entering retiring age–I wouldn’t be surprised if Dzhokar Tsarnaev spends 20 years in a prison (10 years for good behavior) that would make Martha Stewart envious, before Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dorhn set up a scholarship fund in the name of the brutal conqueror Tamerlane (the dead terrorist was named for the brutal 14th century warlord) to get the thug Islamist a PhD and tenure at an Ivy League college.
The reality is this kid is not just a terrorist, he’s an Islamic terrorist, and that detail alone says he is untouchable not only to slander, but the death penalty—even if that verdict is handed down. Hey, we don’t want to insult the religion of violence massacring mankind! We must never forget its Israel and Jews we are to loathe and blame—after we have crucified Christianity and its repugnant teachings of love and peace.
Then we have the Tsarneav’s cohorts: They will probably get five to10 years in prison, no doubt shortened because of good behavior. That good behavior being the three college kids knew their patriotic duty: Aid terrorists blowing up America.
Those actions should gain the three cohorts the opportunity to become Hollywood filmmakers.
Now, if these were college kids supporting and raising money for Israel and impoverished Russian Jews, they would be considered vile enemies of mankind. Those who slaughter Jews and Christians are viewed as heroes; they should have poems and music written in their honor.
If Israel tries to make peace with her enemies, those Jews are described as blood-thirsty conquerors victimizing everyone else hurling bombs at Israel, the freest nation for any people in the Middle East.
Then there are those nasty Christians who dare say the name of Jesus, or worse, hold Bible studies in their homes and feed and clothe the poor! Those Christians are racist proselytizers shoving the bomb-filled Bibles down everyone’s throat!
Now that’s terrorism!
You won’t hear Obama demanding America stop tolerating those who want to destroy our nation. You won’t hear Eric Holder declare Islam violent and terror something Americans must not put up with. After all, Eric Holder is the man who ignored the New Black Panther’s voter fraud and threats against white voters during the 2008 election, Holder pardoned Marc Rich, as well as pardoning Weather Underground terrorists and terrorist organization FALN after it bombed New York City, Washington and Chicago and “killed six people—including the Chilean ambassador to the United States—and wounded at least 80 others.”
Furthermore, why should Obama, the man mentored by communist Frank Marshal Davis condemn Islam? Obama was, after all, raised Muslim, though “These days, I look in the mirror and I have to admit, I’m not the strapping young Muslim socialist that I used to be,” while he defends Islam with apologies for America’s cultures, people, and values every chance he gets.
If anyone assumes Obama, who actually admitted the Boston bombing is act of terrorism, will deem this Chechen terrorist, who sided with Chechnya as an enemy against America, a threat to America, and demand he be tried as an enemy combatant, forget it. The thug already received Miranda Rights; he’s no longer an enemy combatant, he’s just your every day ordinary criminal.
In other words, Dzhokar Tsarnaev’s actions are no different than the loser who held up the local 7-eleven—who “will die for Islam!”
Given Obama and Holder’s track record for ignoring terror and siding with the enemy—think Benghazi and Fast and Furious–the only way this Islamist snot will get executed is if he converts to Judaism or Christianity.
These days, it’s a rare occurrence when I write anything that’s purely my opinion. It’s “Everybody Blog About #Pigford Day”, so I figure it’s a special occasion. Besides, I was lucky enough to end up recording an interview with Lee Stranahan about Pigford, so it’s a little difficult to report on that without using the personal touch (especially since the interview didn’t broadcast yet, as of when I’m writing this.) Stranahan pointed out during that interview that I could have taken advantage of this particular little scheme. But, misuse of government benefits isn’t anything new under the sun. It’s just particularly disgusting in this case, because it literally takes livelihoods away from people that truly were discriminated against in the past, and honestly did deserve government assistance to start a farm.
Now, I have to admit that I’ve heard Stranahan several times on this topic. I admire that he’s stuck with the story after all this time, and enjoy hearing him talk about it every time. He’s a storyteller, so it’s not like listening to Obama and his teleprompter-driven campaign speeches, that must be canned by some sort of twisted flying monkeys that are kept in the bowels of the White House somewhere. No, Stranahan’s like my grandfather, who could tell the same story a thousand times, but keep folks captivated even if they’d heard it a couple hundred times. And this story is still like an onion, with new layers being revealed all the time. But, I guess you could say that’s the case with any story about government spending, since the mainstream media decided it’s not going to play watch-dog anymore.
Yes, Andrew Breitbart was a visionary. I didn’t know the man, and it’s a rare occasion when I even mention him. Sure, I’ve seen many people who seem to have placed him on a pedestal, and still others that get highly annoyed (or even hateful) with anyone that does that. I learned a long time ago that human beings in general are far too flawed to run around worshiping them (myself included), and I’m not into that sort of thing anyway. I don’t worship any deities, so why in the world would I worship people? Anyway, that doesn’t mean I don’t give credit where credit is due. And Breitbart was spot on when he encouraged people to get out there and do what the media wouldn’t do – investigate, expose, and when necessary, demand action from the powers that be. Pigford arguably should become the folktale for that, since the irony is that the government assumed Breitbart was onto this scheme before he actually was. I know Arianna Huffington likes to call herself the mother of citizen journalism, or something like that. Personally, I prefer to consider her the original power-broker that decided to take advantage of writers to get free content, but that’s a whole other story. Breitbart should be considered the Godfather of citizen journalism, because he inspired an entire generation of people to stop taking what was being fed to them by the mainstream media. He didn’t do it just to get content for his own website, either. History will truly tell this tale, but I wouldn’t be surprised if later generations end up learning about Breitbart as the man that put the investigations of hundreds of “Watergate-style” scandals in motion, just by encouraging people to dig.
After that discussion with Stranahan, I ended up talking with my co-host about how effective these “Blog about Blank” days really are. Sure, it gets a lot of attention on a specific topic for a whole day, but then what? It’s a frenetic world out there, and the masses tend to have the attention span of gnats, when it comes to news. I’ve passed over stories as “breaking”, knocking them down to just “news” if the story’s been out for just a few hours. The links I pull each day in the morning are old news by the afternoon. What keeps people on stories like Pigford?
Years ago there were two journalists that chased down the story of corruption in the Nixon administration. If anyone asked their editors what they thought about that, no doubt they would have said those two were obsessed. And that’s what keeps stories like Pigford alive today. Breitbart has been described as obsessed about the story, and at least a few others – including Stranahan – picked up that torch when he died. The thorn in Eric Holder’s side over “Fast and Furious” is Katie Pavlich, and Mary Chastain, to name two. Brett Kimberlin will not be forgotten if Robert Stacy McCain or Aaron Worthing have anything to say about it. Of course, I’m not naming all the people who keep these stories alive, and that’s another reason why they won’t disappear any time soon. Even I have one of my own little obsessions, but that one hasn’t seen the light of day – yet. So, if you can figure out what drives the folks that end up being determined to uncover every fact and secret about a certain story, you will find that special element that keeps all these stories alive long after the days we devote to them. By the way, if you do figure it out, do let me know. Bottling it would make a fortune!
Before anyone gets really excited, no, Eric Holder didn’t make this comparison recently. This is a blast from the past, found by Breitbart contributor Charles Johnson, and it dates back to 1995:
Wow! So weird seeing Holder with more hair – and no grays!
Anyway, it’s always fun to look at aging political animals when they were younger, and more idealistic – and silly. How in the world could Holder have believed that an ad campaign would be effective in discouraging urban teens from getting involved in gun violence? Even then, it seems that Holder had lost touch with reality, and couldn’t comprehend that one could not compare the status symbol of having a weapon with a simple vice like smoking. It is mind-boggling. And it makes it clear that his current way of thinking is at least deeply rooted. Too bad he didn’t carry that “gun-toting is a vice” attitude with him to the Office of the Attorney General, and too bad he didn’t apply it when it came to drug cartels in Mexico.
Democrat leader of the Colorado State Senate, John Morse, recently stated, publicly, that he just ignores his constituents, and tells his fellow State Senators to do the same, because he doesn’t like their stand on gun control. Now isn’t this just the height of arrogance and tyranny? He is a “servant of the People” who swore to “protect and defend the Constitution of the United States”? That dismissive and disgusted tone in his voice when referring to “some people” should be an alarm to anyone, including voters registered as Democrats.
Americans, this is what we are facing with increasing frequency from elected officials at all levels and in both political parties. This is truly a “bi-partisan” power grab we are facing. The increasing degree of arrogance on the part of elected officials shows how far they have gone in their plan to take total control over our lives. It is one thing to have “discussions behind closed doors” and another thing altogether when they just come out and brazenly boast about their actions against We the People.
This man and his entire party are trampling on the Constitution and making no attempts to hide it any longer. They are taking an “in your face” stand, daring We the People to do something about it. The bully has thrown down the gauntlet for everyone to see. He is openly challenging citizens to put a stop to tyranny, his tyranny. The entire Democrat Party, and the Republican Party as well, are telling We the People that they can do as they wish and the Constitution means nothing. Republicans posture and beat their chests for a while and then compromise on “common sense gun control measures”, meaning they sign off on taking away our right to own firearms as stated in the 2nd Amendment. The straw argument that “no one should have the right to own a nuclear missile” just doesn’t fly with citizens.
There are some in Congress, and in state legislatures around the nation, that are standing up for us and for the Constitution. They are being pilloried by the political class of both parties and the lame stream media for doing so. Anyone who has the temerity to challenge their “all-knowing wisdom” is declared an “enemy of the state” and subject to a drone strike at any moment because, according to Attorney General Eric Holder, “if the President does it, it is legal”!!!! This is the stuff of dictatorships not a Constitutional Republic.
I wrote a couple of articles last month that address the problem of politicians and their handlers who deny the rights of We the People. In the first one I appealed to people with name recognition and/or immense wealth to “put their money where their mouth is”, and challenged conservative voters to stand behind them in this battle for liberty. In the second one I appealed to citizens who are registered Democrats to think about what their party is doing to their nation, and to their individual liberty.
This attitude of “we know better and will ignore you peasants” has passed the point of concern and has come to the point of outright danger. If they no longer feel any necessity to hide their contempt for American citizens and for our way of life, We the People are facing imminent subjugation. Our rights to self –defense are being gutted by a government that holds the opinions of its citizens in disdain and total disregard. They see themselves as the only ones capable of making decisions that are “in our best interests”.
Our government is engaging in actions that many see as a preparation step for the taking up of arms against its own citizens. The Department of Homeland Security has secured contracts for the purchase of billions of rounds of hollow point bullets, designed for maximum damage to the human body (these aren’t for “target practice”); tens of thousands of fully automatic rifles, the true “assault rifles”, not the semi-automatic kind you and I possess; are re-fitting thousands of armored “Urban Rescue Vehicles”, the kind with gun ports, for use in American cities; and helicopters fly through our skies shooting machineguns in simulated “domestic unrest” scenarios.
Martial Law may be right around the corner. The government could isolate citizens and confiscate their firearms, or kill the citizen who refuses to surrender their protection, over little or nothing, mostly “imagined offenses” as is happening in California right now. They like to throw the mental health issue out into the arena because they know Republicans will hide behind the need to “keep the guns out of the hands of the mentally deranged”. Of course, that category now applies to any veteran, whether they have seen combat or not. And who will define “mental illness”, Sen. Diane Feinstein? Even now people who believe the Constitution is the law of the land and the basis for our nation are called “extremists” by those in power in both political parties. How much of a step is it to declare these same “extremists” as mentally ill for the purpose of denying them their 2nd Amendment rights?
The Democratic Party, and their allies in the Republican Party, have this all designed to destroy the Constitution and to subjugate We the People. Establishment operatives in both political parties have joined forces to impose their will on the citizens of America. They don’t care what we think, what we want, or what is lawful. They desire the power to dictate our lives to us and this Colorado State Senate president has come right out in the open and stated as much. The message to We the People is “agree with us voluntarily or we will impose agreement on you”. Nanny Bloomberg is doing the same thing in New York City, telling people of the nation that he will impose our best interests on us if we refuse to acquiesce voluntarily. This has to stop, and We the People must stop it, if liberty is to be re-established.
I submit this in the name of the Most Holy Trinity, in faith, with the responsibility given to me by Almighty God to honor His work and not let it die from neglect.

While Biden sorts out what the new gun legislation should look like and Sen. Feinstein prepares her ban legislation for release on January 22nd, the President, according to Vice President Biden, may be seeking to act a bit faster.
Any gun ban legislation is likely to be slowly debated in the Senate and outright rejected in the House. With that in mind, the President may seek to unilaterally limit American’s access to firearms and accessories – a move he believes he can make on his own through an Executive Order (EO).
The EO could include just about anything the President desires and Attorney General Eric Holder is likely to enforce it as if it is fully-enacted law. Both the President and Holder have voiced idelogically-based anti-gun rights positions and could have the ATF regulate out any firearms and/or accessories the President feels are not for public consumption.
While constitutional challenges will erupt from several states, it’s a lengthy process during which Congress may then enact legislation to codify the EO and pass into law.
The recent rumblings from Feinstein, Biden and company had already escalated gun purchases to a record level and this is likely to ratchet it up further as the timeline for purchasing some guns probably just got a lot shorter.
Congressman Darrell Issa issued the following statement via the Committee On Oversight and Governmental Reform in response to the Department of Justice’s motion to dismiss Congress’ suit to gain access to information documents:
“The Obama Administration’s argument should trouble Americans who believe the President and the Federal government are not above the law. In perpetuating a cover-up, through false and misleading statements that even the Justice Department’s own Inspector General found troubling, the Obama administration argued for months that it did not have to meet its legal obligations to a lawfully issued congressional subpoena. Now, the Department is advancing arguments – already rejected by the federal judiciary – that our court system does not have jurisdiction to ensure accountability either. The American people deserve to know the full truth about what happened in Operation Fast and Furious and why top justice officials stood behind false denials of reckless conduct.”
Irony? Perhaps. The administration that has had the least respect for the steadfastness of the U.S. Constitution is now saying that it protects the administration from prosecution in the botched gun-walking program known as “Fast and Furious”.
In August, the House of Representatives’ Committee on Oversight and Government Reform filed a civil suit (Case 1:12-cv-01332-ABJ ) in Washington D.C.’s District Court to gain access to “some unproduced documents that are of particular interest to the Committee” in the scope of the “Fast and Furious” gun-walking scandal.
In a court filing late Monday evening, the Justice Department asserted that the Constitution does not permit the courts to interject when the executive and legislative branches are at odds.
President Obama once called the Constitution “flawed”, but Obama Administration Attorney General Eric Holder is now using that flawed document to hopefully have the U.S. District Court in D.C. drop the Congressional suit.
Where in the Constitution is that? Separation of powers?
The legislative branch is seeking to hold the executive accountable for its actions – oversight is within the powers Congress is currently accepted to hold. The White House has claimed executive privilege (not in the Constitution) and now the courts are being challenged to drop the civil suit filed by the House Committee.
The Constitution does not explicitly grant Congress the power to oversee the executive (Article I), although it has been long thought to be an implied power that corresponds to Congress’ power to make laws. How can the legislative branch have the power to make laws without the oversight to see that they are enforced? Without such purview, the executive could enforce, or choose not to enforce, the laws it sees fit. This would minimize the checks-and-balances so thought to exist within the framing document and give the executive an almost dictatorial scope.
Recently, the White House has chosen to allow the lack of enforcement of laws having to do with unemployment, border security and immigration. Without some Congressional oversight, the Executive Branch of the federal government could render the Congress’ laws irrelevant.
What happens when you let Lee Stranahan talk freely on-air about Occupy, Pigford, Attorney General Holder, and Twitter Wars? John Grant and Liz Harrison found out on The 405 Radio on Saturday, October 6th. If you missed it live, catch the podcast (on iTunes), and hear Lee explain what he’s been working on for the past couple years.
Then catch hour two, where Liz, Mike from LoudmouthElephant.com, and Wayne Dupree (NewsNinja2012) do a final wrap-up on the debate, talk about NAACP backing away from Obama, and BSA denying the Eagle Award to a “open gay scout.”
Ever since Joe Biden, and President Obama came out in support of Gay Marriage, there has been a rush by pundits to slobber all over the first president to support gay marriage. Their “thrill up the leg” support over President Obama and his side-kick Biden continues to grow every day as these pseudo-intellectuals use this issue as a wedge to divide Americans right before the November election. Now the Eric Holder’s Injustice Department has jumped into the mud slinging to prove that he and his department will not be left out of this issue. At a speech in Washington Thursday, Eric Holder told the crowd of LGBT supporters that, “As an American, I am deeply proud to stand with you and celebrate the remarkable, once unimaginable progress that — particularly over the last three-and-a-half years — your leadership and coordinated efforts have helped to bring about.”
The fact that we have a White House, a Justice Department, and a large swath of the media fighting to see who can support a certain group of Americans over the rest, is insulting and disgusting, as it should be to ever American. Many Politicians and media pundits from the left have been preaching tolerance, while using intolerance and bigotry to marginalize and demonize anyone who disagrees with them. What ever happened to “judge a man by his character?” or “love thy neighbor?” how about, we do not put the sexual preference of an individual over the fact that they are a human being, and treat them equally under process of our system, instead of creating new and special laws for them to live, that will only create more of a divide among Americans, creating more and more problems for any politician to capitalize on. One politician who came out in support of gay marriage was President Obama. President Obama ONLY came out in support of gay marriage for one reason, and one reason only, to try and get the vote of every gay person in America, period. Those who are going to vote for President Obama over this issue only, obviously do not care about the rest of the issues that are facing our nation. Then, again if the government is encouraging everyone to have sex with everyone and providing “free” contraception, no one will need a job because the government will abort your child, raise your child, along with food stamps to provide for that child. Those individuals who choose to elevate their sexual orientation above national finances, national security, and many more pressing issues, must be looking for a free ride, and/or only care about themselves and no one else in this great nation.
Those who are in support of gay marriage on the left are using this issue to not only separate Americans from Americans, they are using it as a means to an end, which is to win this next election. The left could care less about an individual person, if that were the case, they would promote individual liberty, private property rights, freedom, constitutionalism, not collectivism. If the left could hand out crack cocaine, needles, heroin, alcohol and other drugs in order to win votes they would. Further more, if they believed it would actually win them elections they would promote government programs to supply these drugs to the population and claim they are doing it for the “good of the community.” In order to keep themselves in power and continue to grow the government the left has to justify every behavior, every action as a “right” as something that human beings cannot live without, like handing out contraception and claiming that by not having the government pay for it, it violates some sort of female right to protect their bodies. How about not having sex for a night and read a book?
The only way the left can win is by government force, their only solutions always result in some sort of government program, government initiative , and just more government that will empower more government and claim its all for the “good of the people.” While not even mentioning that by creating more government, they forget to inform the citizen they are creating the free program for, that taxes will have to be raise in order to pay for that “free” program. At some point the American population will wake up and realize that much of what has come out of Washington has been a “big lie,”
“And I look forward to all we will surely accomplish together.”
~~Eric Holder, Thursday in Washington, speaking before a LGBT crowd.
Ever since the 2009 GM bailout by “progressive” big government ended the pensions of 20,000 retirees at Delphi auto parts manufacturing, the White House and the Department of Treasury have laid the blame on the steps of the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation.
Internal government emails have been obtained that show the U.S. Treasury Department, run by Timothy Geithner, was behind those termininations. All 20,000 of the pensions seem to have been ended strictly for the reason that those retirees did not belong to labor unions.
Perhaps the National Labor Relations Board was too busy preparing to harass another private sector company planning to hire non-union workers to get involved.
Meanwhile, Attorney General Eric Holder has yet to file any criminal charges against top Wall Street bankers with connections inside the Department of Justice or who had made political donations to the 2008 presidential campaign of the current White House occupant.
Over the years, both the Oval Office and Holder have talked tough, aggressively attacking big fat cat bankers, blaming their reckless speculation for the 2008 financial collapse. The Government Accountability Institute has found that Holder still has not “filed a single criminal charge against any top executive of an elite financial institution.”
All talk no action. Sound tough for the union organized OWS crowd, but do nothing to upset potential campaign donors. The heck with credibility, the “progressive” Party Pravda will run interference for the re-election campaign.
Overseas, Iran has vowed it will not allow Assad to fall in Syria.
“Iran will never allow the resistance axis – of which Syria is an essential pillar – to break,” said Saeed Jalili, Iran’s Supreme National Security Council secretary. The “axis of resistance” includes Iran, Syria, Hezbollah and Hamas, all of which are anti-Western and openly hostile towards Israel and the United States.
Assad reassured Jalili by saying: “The Syrian people and their government are determined to purge the country of terrorists and to fight the terrorists without respite.”
If Assad is overthrown, Iran will lose influence over Syria and a crucial link to Hezbollah.
Could it be that Muslim Brotherhood influence over the White House has surreptitiously led to policies that support the creation of a regional Caliphate? What other way is there to logically explain policies that support rebellions to overthrow some Middle Eastern dictators, but not support rebellions hostile to the Iranian regime or its allies?
With so much baggage for the White House to carry through the campaign, their “Priorities” are to have their “progressive” allies run misleading ads that attempt to tie Mitt Romney to death.
Priorities USA Action, a super PAC supporting the Oval Office is running a new ad that blames Mitt Romney for a family losing health insurance which contributed to a woman dying from cancer.
It apparently makes no difference to the “progressive” super PAC that Romney left Bain Capital years before the GST Steel bankruptcy in 2001. In addition, the cancer casualty Ranae Soptic died in 2006, long after the GST plant had been closed.
In another move to distract attention away from the dismal economic performance of the White House, the Oval Office occupier was overheard whispering to a top fundraiser that GOP presidential challenger Mitt Romney wants to name Gen. David Petraeus as his choice for Vice President.
Press Secretary Jay Carney reminded reporters to “be mindful of your sources” when asked about the Petraeus rumor. “I can say with absolute confidence, such an assertion has never been uttered by the president. And again be mindful of your sources” said Carney.
And so it goes for the most open, transparent White House in American history. They are more than happy to talk about anything but their own record.
From the floor of the United States Senate chamber, without a single shred of evidence, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid recently charged that for ten years Republican presidential challenger Mitt Romney paid no taxes.
Is not the legal system in the United States based on the presumption of innocence? Did Harry Reid grant himself the authority to alter that, or did he obtain permission from the White House by fiat?
Since when is it the business of the Senate Majority leader to take to the Senate chamber microphone and accuse a political opponent of a serious crime while presuming him guilty and demanding he prove his innocence? Is not Senate business the job for which Reid was elected? How does making this unsubstantiated charge fit in with conducting the business of the United States Senate?
It would be bad enough if this Harry Reid distraction from the failures that define the post-fad institutionalized “progressive” left’s Oval Office tragedy was an isolated incident. For a “man” in what has historically been a prestigious position to make such outrageous charges without a single shred of evidence exceeds extremely egregious. But sadly, an overview of the political landscape shows that it is not just Harry Reid who is engaged in spouting lies, uttering distortions and intentionally creating or parroting misinformation.
The White House re-election campaign has sued Ohio over a state provision that gives three extra days for early voting to members of the military. The administration and the “progressive” Party Pravda pushed back hard, claiming that the lawsuit did not intend to target military voters. That claim is pure, unfiltered bollocks. Over the decades, “progressive” Democrats have sought to suppress military votes. In 2000, when “progressive” Democrats were passionately seeking to steal the Florida Electoral College votes from George W. Bush, they actually succeeded in disqualifying military ballots.
Then there is the 2012 case of “progressive” Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren in Massachusetts. Despite having blue eyes and blonde hair, she claims that she is “Native American”. The “evidence” she presents to support her claim? Her mommy told her so.
Never mind that her claim was rejected by the Cherokee Nation, and that an investigation of her family tree offers no support for her assertion. In the meantime, while Warren claimed she didn’t know whether or not Harvard had ever promoted her Native American background, the Boston Globe reported: “For at least six straight years during Warren’s tenure, Harvard University reported in federally mandated diversity statistics that it had a Native American woman in its senior ranks at the law school. According to both Harvard officials and federal guidelines, those statistics are almost always based on the way employees describe themselves.”
Such a deal! Lie about your heritage so your application to work as a member of the Harvard Law school faculty is given preferential treatment. When your lie is discovered, say it must be true because mommy said so.
On the latest airing of FOX News Sunday, host Chris Wallace caught White House re-election campaign chairman David Axelrod in a lie about “Recovery Summer”. Axelrod repeatedly stated that in 2010 he never spoke about the administration’s imaginary “Recovery Summer”. Evidence shows he did exactly that during an interview with David Gregory on the NBC program Meet the Press.
As it turns out, “Recovery Summer” was, in and of itself, another oft trumpeted “progressive” fabrication.
Then there is Fast & Furious. The White House and their “progressive” co-conspirators dreamed up the “perfect” way to convince Americans that more rapacious “progressive” big government infringements on their constitutionally protected gun rights were needed.
What was that “perfect” plan? To intentionally allow hundreds of deadly automatic and semi-automatic weapons to walk across the southern border and into the hands of known criminals in Mexican drug cartels. The cover story would be that the government intended to track the guns and catch cartel higher ups red handed.
Never mind that zero effort was made to track the guns. None of the guns that the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms and the Department of Justice let walk were capable of being tracked by GPS. Once the guns crossed the border, there was no way of telling where they ended up.
Instead of providing any evidence to support their tracking claim, the DOJ and the White House asserted they were merely continuing a program established by the Bush administration. The difference between the two policies discredits that assertion. The far fewer number of guns that were allowed by the Bush administration to leave the country had been equipped with GPS tracking devices.
After the House of Representatives Investigative Committee caught U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder in a lie and demanded additional information from the DOJ about the Fast and Furious scandal, the White House exerted Executive Privilege, which cannot be used unless the White House itself was involved in the activities under question.
Former White House “green jobs czar and self-avowed Communist Van Jones, and complicit “progressive” Party Pravda dogs assert that the GOP and the Tea Party “Want to hurt Americans economically so they can gain politically.”
This statement flies in the face of the fact that in order to gain politically, decades of “progressive” Democratic policies quite nearly destroyed the global economy through “progressive” big government social engineering in the U.S. housing market, have skewed American tax codes in favor of dividing Americans into separate economic classes and punishing the successful while rewarding the unsuccessful, have set about to destroy the concept of a traditional two parent family, dismantle the military, make more people dependent on “progressive” big government “entitlement” programs and allowing an unrestricted flood of illegal alien invaders into the country in hopes of buying the votes of their children with “progressive” big government handouts.
Still want to cling to the claim that “progressives” are the adults in the room?
At least RNC Chairman Reince Priebus is willing to call Reid a ‘dirty liar’. ABC’s George Will compared Reid’s actions to McCarthyism by saying: “Look, in 1950, Joe McCarthy went to West Virginia, didn’t know what to tell to the Women’s Republican Club of Wheeling, West Virginia, so he said I have in my hand a list of 205, we think that are — 205 communists in the State Department. (He) didn’t have a list. Harry Reid doesn’t have any evidence either. This is McCarthyism from the desert.”
Now is time for all American Patriots to expose the coordinated lies that are being and for decades have been spewed by “progressive” Democrats and their seditious allies within the institutionalized “progressive” left.
Maybe, just maybe, there are enough intelligent undecided swing voters with sound moral character remaining to ensure that “progressive” hopes for re-election end up where they belong, in the ashes.
Remember the New Black Panthers? In 2008 two of its members were filmed at a polling entrance with billy clubs and accused of acting in an intimidating manner. The Bush administration brought them up on charges but the Obama administration under Attorney General Eric Holder decided to drop the charges due to lack of evidence. During a Congressional Hearing it was said that there were no high level discussions about the case prior to it being dropped.
But, through the Freedom of Information Act, new evidence was released last week indicating otherwise. Unfortunately, this story is not making most news outlets. But Bill O’Reilly shared it with his viewers. Is this another scandal for the Department of Justice? How many more lies will be discovered from those in high levels of the DoJ before something changes?
