ObamaCare requires employers to provide health insurance to employees who work at least 30 hours per week. Though the program doesn’t go into full effect until 2014 city officials are being told that there will be a ‘look back’ provision. Permanent, part time employees who were at 32 hours will now be cut to 29 hours per week. This might not seem like much but that $100/month might be enough to pay the electric bill.
