Craig Pusley says he got the idea from another Marine, Staff Sgt. Jordan Pritchard, who stood guard at Gower Elementary School in Nashville, Tennessee. Mr. Pusley decided to stand guard in front of Hughson Elementary School in Modesto, California, on Wednesday in a desert camouflage uniform, saying it would help the children feel safer following the Newtown, Connecticut shooting.
