As a strongly principled Conservative/Libertarian, I feel like I could easily recognize other strongly principled Conservatives and Libertarians because their views fall similar to mine.

Using this logic, shouldn’t one communist be able to identify another communist? Better yet, wouldn’t someone who lived through Communism be able to identify a communist leader?

I think the answer is yes, and there is some frightening (only if you haven’t realized it yet) proof.

Recently an opinion article appeared in Pravda, a Russian Newspaper, by a relatively unknown writer, Xavier Lerma.

Let me start out by saying that after doing a little research on Xavier, I have found that he is not a Communist, Socialist, or Marxist. He is a Conservative, but Russian standards of course, with a true love for Vladimir Putin. If you read the column, you would catch on quickly to his favorable bias towards Putin.

While the column contains extreme spin and favorability towards Putin, everything that Xavier said about American and Obama is true – well, mostly true.

“Recently, Obama has been re-elected for a 2nd term by an illiterate society and he is ready to continue his lies of less taxes while he raises them. He gives speeches of peace and love in the world while he promotes wars as he did in Egypt, Libya and Syria. He plans his next war is with Iran as he fires or demotes his generals who get in the way.”

What about this isn’t true? Except for the ‘illiterate society’ comment, this paragraph expresses some of my feelings with the reelection of Obama to a tee.

Why do we study history?

We study history in attempt to learn from it, and to the best of our ability, not commit the same mistakes twice. However, we almost never learn from history and we always commit the same mistakes twice.

Xavier gets history though. He has learned from the past of the nation that he holds near and dear to his heart, and he is strongly against Russia committing those same mistakes twice.

Xavier knows that communism doesn’t work, nor does socialism. Xavier knows that low taxes are the way to go, and finally Xavier knows that faith, morals, and strong principles are the key to prosperity.

History tells us these things, and this is why Xavier is able to exploit all of Obamas mistakes. Not only is Obama and his administration not learning from history, but they are going in the direction of a “Soviet Plan”, something of which we know does not work. History tells us this.

The American media should be covering this story – its news. But they aren’t going to, that’s why you probably haven’t even heard about it, because American media doesn’t report the news anymore.

However, when Glenn Beck says something that is deemed to be “politically incorrect”, he is persecuted by the media.

What’s the difference between Beck’s thoughts on America and Xavier’s?

Nothing, and that’s why the media isn’t covering this story.

Communism, one of the most virulent ideologies in the history of mankind, has proven harder to defeat than imagined just one generation ago. Though it doesn’t typically parade itself around in red uniforms anymore, communism is still very much alive, even if it is cloaked in the green jacket of radical environmentalism. And communism’s fundamental tenets of equality, class warfare, and wealth redistribution are core principles of the American left.

Most Americans no longer think communism is a threat or that discussing it is even relevant to modern political discourse. Though many understand that socialism is still around, they don’t consider it to be as dangerous as communism, or akin to it in any fundamental way. Communism no longer exists in the  public mind, because the Soviet Union is no longer formally embodied, and the Chinese have introduced some market elements into their state capitalist economy.

But communism is just socialism run by the wrong people, so many leftists think. If one resorts to history to prove to a leftist that communism was a scourge on mankind that was a necessary result of socialist doctrine being put in practice, he will deny that history is relevant, or will claim that communism was never actually implemented.

The best way to describe this mindset is utopian. “Utopia” is a word from Greek meaning “no place.” It was first used in modern parlance in Sir Thomas More’s work “Utopia” to describe through the words of a world traveler in a classless society.

And communism is truly no place.

The broader point is that it is impossible for the right to use counterfactuals to disprove that communism works, because communism, the way the left idealizes it, doesn’t exist, and never existed. They see all the flaws of the world, they see capitalism, they see war, they see greed, and they see crime, and as long as those exist in any way, we don’t have communism. We have a capitalist society, one that must be razed to the ground so that a brave new world can be molded from the ashes.

Thus whatever the world is, as long as it is imperfect, it’s not communism. And as long as the world exists, communism cannot be argued against.

Assad described protestors as paid killers, ridiculing freedom demonstrators as people not truly looking for reform. The opposition is seeking reform in a country where expressing dissent often leads directly to arrest and torture. They contend that Assad has offered nothing but cosmetic changes.

A revolt that began as peaceful protests can now only be described as an armed insurgency. This can be attributed to the harsh government crackdown that led protestors to take up arms in self-defense.

Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, barack obama and many other “progressive” politicians have called the Tea Party “teabaggers”, “racists”, “astroturf”, “Nazis” ” and “extremists” on multiple occasions. The Department of Homeland Security issued a report that described the Tea Party as “right-wing extremists” and “insurgents”, expressing concerns that “Right-wing extremists will attempt to recruit and radicalize veterans in order to boost their violent capacities.”

“Violent capacities”?

How much longer will it be before members of Tea Parties are called “paid killers”?

Hasn’t that already happened? Such a description was more than quite heavily inferred by multiple “progressive” politicians and virtually every member of the “progressive” Party Pravda after a nut job who was working solo shot Arizona Rep. Gabrielle Dee “Gabby” Giffords on January 8, 2011.

How soon will members of the “progressive” Democratic Party say that Tea Party members are “not truly looking for reform”?

David Axlerod, obama’s 2012 re-election campaign chief, claimed that the Tea Party “reign of terror” blocked immigration reform. Tea Party efforts to stop “progressive” Democrats from cramming unwanted “healthcare reform” down America’s throat are viewed by “progressives” and their media spokes-tools as “not truly looking for reform”.

How much longer will it take for the United States to become a country where expressing dissent can lead directly to arrest and torture?

According to former FBI agent Larry Grathwohl, Bill Ayers’ Weather Underground Central Committee meant to cause the collapse of the United States government. Ayers and his group would deal with resistant Americans by “establishing re-education centers in the south-west”. Those who refused to convert to Communism, would be “eliminated”. As in: concentration camps would be used to kill 25 million Americans.

Politico’s Ben Smith reported: “In 1995, State Senator Alice Palmer introduced her chosen successor, Barack Obama, to a few of the district’s influential liberals at the home of two well known figures on the local left: William Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn”.

The Tea Party movement began as a peaceful protest against big government, reckless government spending, high taxes and oppressive regulations. The Tea Party’s Contract From America expressed principles held by its members. The most basic being that “Our moral, political, and economic liberties are inherent, not granted by our government.”

The principles of the Tea Party were clearly expressed in the Contract:

Protect the Constitution, reject Cap & Trade, demand a balanced budget, enact fundamental tax reform, restore fiscal responsibility and Constitutionally limited government in Washington DC, end runaway government spending, defund, repeal and replace government-run health care, pass an ‘all-of-the-above’ energy policy, stop the pork, and stop the tax hikes.

That sounds like people who are truly looking for reform. Just not the type of reform being insisted upon by members of the institutionalized “progressive” left.

Only those dedicated to the overthrow of the United States government would consider a stand for protecting the Constitution, rejecting the UN backed Cap and Trade agenda, demanding a balanced budget, et al “extreme” in their views.

The similarities between what’s happening now in Syria and plans envisioned for America by the institutionalized “progressive” left are both shocking and real. Why are those similarities being concealed by America’s fabled Fourth Estate? The only logical conclusion is that the views held by the “mainstream media” are sympathetic to those of the institutionalized “progressive” left. They are on the same team.

If violence does break out in the United States, it will be due to a harsh government crackdown leading to peaceful protestors having to take up arms in self-defense. God Bless the genius of America’s Founders and their insightful, forward thinking ratification of the Second Amendment. For they knew first hand that of which Tyrants are made.

How many people know the depth of Karl Marx or attempted to read his Manifest der Kommunistischen Partei (Communist Manifesto)? But more importantly is the knowledge and understanding of Marxism, and how it relates to what is truly at stake in this country. The progressive movement, socialism, or the move to dismantle the Constitution, along with other key factors, are what is really at stake here.  So who is Karl Marx anyway and why should I care?

Brief History of Karl Marx 

In short Karl Marx (May 5, 1818 – March 14, 1883) was a man of many thoughts, but mainly known for being the author of Manifest der Kommunistischen Partei (The Communist Manifesto 1848) and the movements most important book, Das Kapital. The ideologies of Marx form the basis of thought found in Marxism.

Karl was the oldest surviving son of nine children. His father was a lawyer devoted to Kant and Voltaire. Both his parents were Jewish, but prior to the birth of Karl his father converted and was baptized in the Evangelical Established Church. Karl was baptized at the age of seven. He was an educated man who was influenced by liberal teachers, radical social policies of the Enlightenment, and by discrimination of the times which was probably what really enticed him to look for social change. In college Marx was introduced to the philosophy of Hegel where he became involved with the Young Hegelians. “At first he felt a repugnance toward Hegel’s doctrines; when Marx fell sick it was partially, as he wrote his father, “from intense vexation at having to make an idol of a view I detested.” The Hegelian pressure in the revolutionary student culture was powerful, however, Marx joined a society called the Doctor Club, whose members were intensely involved in the new literary and philosophical movement. Their chief figure was Bruno Bauer, a young lecturer in theology, who was developing the idea that the Christian Gospels were a record not of history but of human fantasies arising from emotional needs and that Jesus had not been a historical person. Marx enrolled in a course of lectures given by Bauer on the prophet Isaiah. Bauer taught that a new social catastrophe “more tremendous” than that of the advent of Christianity was in the making. The Young Hegelians began moving rapidly toward atheism and also talked vaguely of political action.  The Prussian government, fearful of the subversion latent in the Young Hegelians, soon undertook to drive them from the universities. Bauer was dismissed from his post in 1839. Marx’s “most intimate friend” of this period, Adolph Rutenberg, an older journalist who had served a prison sentence for his political radicalism, pressed for a deeper social involvement. Later, after Marx received his degree he became engaged and married Jenny von Westphalen, the two moved to Paris which was the center of socialist thought and ideals of communism. There, Marx first became a revolutionary and a communist and began to associate with communist societies of French and German workingmen. Their ideas were, in his view, “utterly crude and unintelligent,” but their character moved him: “The brotherhood of man is no mere phrase with them, but a fact of life, and the nobility of man shines upon us from their work-hardened bodies,” he wrote in his so-called “Ökonomisch-philosophische Manuskripte aus dem Jahre 1844” (written in 1844;Economic and Philosophic Manuscripts of 1844 [1959]). As time progressed Marx became more engulfed in Communism and the ideals of the left. The significance of his writings found in the Communist Manifesto, et.al., are an important part of history. They represent an interesting contrast to what is happening in the United States and the Constitution of the United States. It is critical for people to find their own interpretations and look for their own answers when trying to make decisions relevant to what is the best interest of the United States and her citizens. Karl Marx, like most people today, became fed up with the issues relevant to his time, but choosing the wrong path can ultimately lead to the demise of fundamental expectations. In the Communist Manifesto he describes what is necessary to destroy a free enterprise system (Ten Planks) and replace it with a communist socialist state. The ten tenants (Planks) of Communism are strikingly similar to that of the American counterparts. The dissemination of our own Constitution appears to be in the works.

Marxism in a Nutshell

According to Karl Marx, three phases are necessary in order to convert a society to communism:

1. The total destruction of any existing system

2. Wealth must be collectivized by a leader who emerges to take control of the populous choices of education, religion, employment, and private property ownership

3. Utopia is then achieved by government control

Marx describes the existence of these 10 essential tenets:

1. A centralized banking system

2. Government controlled education

3. Government controlled labor

4. Government ownership of transportation and communication

5. Government ownership of agriculture and factories

6. Abolition of private property ownership

7. Private property right confiscation

8. Heavy income tax

9, Elimination of the right of inheritance

10. Regional governmental planning

Communist leaders also recognized the need to discourage albeit abolish religion. Religion is seen as antithetical and dangerous.

The 10 Planks of Marxism:

1. Abolition of private property in land and application of all rents of land to public purpose.

The 5^th Amendment clearly states the government cannot take a persons property for public use without giving them just compensation. This is known as the “Takings” Clause, because it gives the government the right to “take” property. But the 5^th Amendment Eminent Domain Clause in the Bill of Rights states: “…nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.” The lines become somewhat ambiguous when the government has the power to determine what is “just.” The land is meant to be used for public good or necessity such as highways, libraries, schools, and so on. 2. A heavy progressive or graduated income tax.

This one really speaks for itself. The lack of understanding here regarding corporate taxes and this administrations propaganda to push the American people under the pretext that the “rich can pay more“ is at core of this tenant. The United States has the highest taxes on corporations than any other country in the world including Japan.  Large Corporations are not expanding,  they are leaving the U.S., and small businesses are going bankrupt. This is by far one of the greatest tenants of Communism whereby the rich will stay rich and everyone else will subside equally at the mercy of the government. These outrageous corporate taxes will continue to drain the American Economy while reducing corporate growth, salary increases, and job creation.

3. Abolition of all rights of inheritance.

For Karl Marx this particular tenant was put in place so no single person would ever have a right to property, whether real or personal under any kind probate law — there would be no inheritance. In the United States Americans call it the “Death Tax” which the name alone should speak for itself. The argument American’s should hold to, other than the fact that the taxes are not going to the states, is that the property is being taxed twice once when the person is alive and purchased it, and then again with inheritance tax when the person dies, which is clearly unethical, unlawful, and unjust by any standards.

4. Confiscation of the property of all Immigrants and rebels. 

This particular issue pertains to Janet Napolitano’s Homeland Security’s scrutiny of what they refer to as “homegrown militias.” A keynote case involved Michigan Militia who acted in the name of Hutaree.  They were accused of conspiring to overthrow the government, planning to assassinate a police officer, and attempting to incite an uprising against the Federal government by bringingg explosives to the officers funeral. The attack at the funeral never happened, yet Eric Holder felt inclined to raid the Hutaree outposts, and confiscate its members’ guns. In March 2012 the serious charges against the group were dismissed – a shocking slap in the face of the Federal government. The second amendment is slowly but surely being taken away enabling government to tighten its grip over its citizens. It is one of the main events that occurred by the Soviets. Disarming its citizens allowed the Soviets the ability to maintain absolute power over its people.  In the United States this happens under the disguise of: government seizures, tax liens, Public law 99-570 (1986), Executive order 11490- sections 1205, 2002 which gives private land to the Department of Urban Development,  the imprisonment of ‘terrorists’ and those who speak out or write against the government (1997 Crime/Terrorist Bill), or the IRS confiscation of property without due process.  Asset forfeiture laws are used by DEA, IRS, ATF, and so on.  Another example: on March 7, 2012 the ACLJ Defends Tea Party Groups From IRS Assault. 5. Centralization of credit in the hands of the state, by means of a national bank with State capital and an exclusive monopoly.

Americans call it the Federal Reserve which is a privately-owned credit/debt system allowed by the Federal Reserve act of 1913. The Federal Reserve sets the nations monetary policy, controls the American economy, guides interest rates, and controls inflation. The way the reserve is continually printing money devalues our currency, hence the cost of goods and services rise.  All local banks are members of the Federal system, and are regulated by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) another privately-owned corporation.

6. Centralization of the means of communications and transportation in the hands of the State.

Americans call it the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and Department of Transportation (DOT) mandated through the ICC act of 1887, the Commissions Act of 1934, The Interstate Commerce Commission established in 1938, The Federal Aviation Administration, Federal Communications Commission, and Executive orders 11490, 10999, as well as State mandated driver’s licenses and Department of Transportation regulations. You may recognize some of these things such as Amtrak which is a government owned entity, the Interstate Hwy System, Federal Aviation Authority to name a few. The railroad went from privately owned to government owned.  Amtrak is the ONLY passenger train/rail in the country and it is owned by the Federal government.

7. Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the state, the bringing into cultivation of waste lands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with a common plan.

Again, too many to list here, but we can begin with all the bailouts for the auto industry beginning with GM. But other aspects could be found under The Desert Entry Act and The Department of Agriculture, Department of Commerce and Labor, Department of Interior, the Environmental Protection Agency, Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Reclamation, Bureau of Mines, National Park Service, and the IRS control of business through corporate regulations.

8. Equal liability of all to labor. Establishment of industrial armies, especially for agriculture.

Clearly the power of Labor Unions, the fact the President receives substantial amounts of money from Unions, Unions ( along with Soros) financing of Occupy Wall Street groups, and their unrelenting presence in the workplace all represent the 8^th tenant. There is the Department of Labor, Woman in the workplace since the 1920′s, the 19th amendment of the U.S. Constitution, the Civil Rights Act of 1964, assorted Socialist Unions, affirmative action, the Federal Public Works Program and of course Executive order 11000. Again, so much of this has been in the news with the WI elections and other state issues where the President attempts to use his powers to overstep and mandate all aspects of the American people.

9. Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries, gradual abolition of the distinction between town and country, by a more equitable distribution of population over the country.

One of the largest government owned power companies is the Tennessee Valley Authority (http://www.tva.gov/ ) which clearly defines socialism at its finest. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) also supports the idea of socialism by forcing business to comply with more stringent restrictions in the form of cap and trade and by mandating the purchase of carbon credits.

10. Free education for all children in public schools.

Ah the public education system, I could go on for decades here, but one example would be when the government decides what a child needs over the parent, for example what children should eat, (Michelle Obama). Another would be tenure with teachers. It is ridiculous how these teachers cannot be fired. Let’s not forget how the government has removed any form of Christianity (Christmas Vacation now Winter break etc), altered the Pledge of Allegiance, while turning a blind eye to teaching about Islam, as well as moral issues disguised under the word “tolerance.”

In September of 1919, the Communist Party of the United States (CPUS) was formed as a counter to the Socialist Party of America (SPA). CPUS differed with SPA on one critical issue – the strategy to use to rid the United States of capitalism. While SPA wanted to see organized, militaristic direct action (bombings, armed insurretion, violence against those who disagreed with them), the CPUS wanted to focus on electoral politics – a strategy still used today by America’s Big-Labor unions.

For almost a century, a socialist influence has moved slowly and patiently to bring the last best hope for true economic and social freedom to a cataclysmic end. The tools of class warfare, social justice and false equality have been used to slowly de-sensitize the American populace so that socialistic ideas could take hold and win in election years. Statements like “taking care of our seniors”, “healthcare for all”, “protecting the working poor”, “defending the middle-class”, “making the rich pay their fair share” and more are intended to guilt American voters into trading self-reliance and liberty for government entitlements, dependence and security. As Benjamin Franklin once said, “They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety”

Obama’s “fundamental transformation” of the United States is a call to arms for Socialism. Such fundamentalism – as Benjamin Gitlow who was arrested as a communist revolutionary in 1919 – attested at his trial in 1920 is central to the socialist agenda:

The socialists have always maintained that the change from capitalism to socialism would be a fundamental change, that is, we would have a complete reorganization of society, that this change would not be a question of reform; that the capitalist system of society would be completely changed and that that system would give way to a new system of society based on a new code of laws, based on a new code of ethics, and based on a new form of government.

• The government has gone so far as to first take over an American company (GM), then hand ownership to the Union after stripping investors of their rightful stake.
• Both GE and GM have been heavily pressured by the government to do its bidding – even to the detriment to each business
• The blackmailing of Boeing by the NLRB as favor to the labor unions
• Health Care Reform will be the death of the Health Care industry the way we know it – before long, only the government will be left
• A late Friday executive order by Barack Obama allowing the government more control over the centralized manufacturing and distribution of goods (see: definition of socialism)

Nothing scary here right?

So while not technically socialism by Merriam-Webster’s definition, Crony Socialism or Socialism-light at a minimum is running rampant in our government – how long until the next step is taken?

Just 10 years ago, did anyone believe that the government would have taken over a public company, raided Gibson guitars without cause, given the President the power to direct manufacturing and output, told an aircraft company where it may or may not build a factory, forced terrible health insurance down American’s throats, subsidized something so awful as the Chevy Volt or turned California farms into desert to save an inedible fish?

But the lights aren’t flashing, buzzers aren’t sounding yet are they?

A recently publicized video of Attorney General Eric Holder stating that the leftists must brainwash American’s against gun ownership is a testament to the strategy of the progressive socialists. Fast and Furious was but one attempt to make the gun industry into a distasteful and hated villain – even though it was the government itself being the terrorist, criminal and facilitator of murder.

Yet, the outcry is minimal. The alarm is only sounding in the deepest corners of the Pro-American right. Even Presidential candidate Mitt Romney has rejected the idea that socialism can be used to describe Barack Obama. Why not call it what is is: a 21st century brand of crony-socialism and go after the current administration? Perhaps because of the backlash from the American voters. The electorate has already been so numbed to the ideals and actions of the administration that they no longer see these activities as a threat to the basic fabric that created the greatest nation on Earth. Voters have been so desensitized to these activities that they no longer see them as reprehensible, wrong and detrimental to the American way of life.

American voters are railing against those who would toe the line against socialism. Falling in-line with the talking points of the left, a large portion of the electorate does not believe that those in Congress should be reversing the growth of government by budgetary restriction. So many now owe a portion of their subsistence to the government or soon will that they have no choice but to bend to the will of the ever more powerful central government – exactly what the founders wanted to prevent, the progressive socialists have worked so hard for and of which de Toqueville warned.

While professing “give-and-take”, socialist progressives aren’t actually giving anything. The right is asking for budget cuts and the left has not been able to even hold the deficit steady while in control of congress. The Democrat-controlled Senate hasn’t offered a budget in the entirety of Obama’s term and the President has not yet demanded one. Despite concerns from the Congressional Budget Office, Americans are not demanding reforms to government spending to prevent America from falling into the same debt trap that has the European Union teetering on the brink of economic collapse.

And again – no sirens, no media outcry, and the size of anti-big government rallies is dwindling. Americans are slowly accepting a long-term, dire fate in trade for self-serving gifts from the public treasury.

I know that everything Gen. Boykin says is true. I was trained in counter insurgency techniques, including how they operate, what military and psychological tactics they use, and how they subvert the social system of a country to take over and enslave the people. I was also taught how to overcome those tactics and to present a way of life that highlights freedom and self-determination.

Marxists take control of every aspect of society (Nationalization) under the auspices of making life better for the “downtrodden”. The story sounds good, “some have more than they deserve and others have less than they deserve” (sound familiar?). They will tell the populace how life can be “more fair” for society in general. They gain control of everything and then a very small group of people decide who gets what. Have you heard “a matter of fairness” from Barack Obama and the media?

The Democrat Party, with help from many Republicans, essentially nationalized the auto companies by giving them “stimulus” bailout money. Who benefitted from this, the stockholders? No, the unions benefited in a case of cronyism over law. Obama’s friends came out good; their enemies, We the People, lost.

Look at the situation in the banking industry and Wall Street. The few banks that were “too big to fail” got billions in taxpayer funds while your home value and your stock values plummeted. How many retired people lost 60% or more of their savings, money they had put back for their retirement so they would not have to look to a broken social security system for their golden years? AIG got billions to prop them up, but what happened to that money? If you will do some looking you will find that most of the money wound up in foreign banks in The United Arab Emirates, Oman, and several other countries.

How many Wall Street and “too big to fail” bank executives took a beating when the economy tanked? Have you seen the figures on the bonuses they received? I heard about the proposed 90% tax on those bonuses from “outraged” members of Congress. Was that 90% tax ever implemented or was it bluster over substance to cover political tracks? Cronyism over “fairness” again? We see Socialism/Marxism at its finest in the bank bailouts.

General Boykin mentions the Marxist tactic of discrediting the opposition. The memorandum he refers to is real, not a figment of his imagination or some “out-there” conspiracy theory. Homeland Security actually labeled veterans, those like myself who have served the United States of America honorably, as a terror threat. They also labeled anyone belonging to any gun rights organization, the National Rifle Association, Gun Owners of America, or the National Association for Gun Rights, for instance, as right wing terrorists.

The memorandum Gen. Boykin talks about never mentions the groups that set off a bomb in the parking garage of the World Trade Center in 1993, blew up the USS Cole, the Khobar Towers, the embassies in Kenya and Tanzania, flew planes into the Twin Towers and the Pentagon. There isn’t any mention of Flight 93, diverted to a Pennsylvania field thanks to the actions of heroes who gave their lives to save people they didn’t know. The Flight 93 disaster was averted by those who DHS would today call terrorists. I call those brave men heroes and patriots but to Obama, Holder, and Napolitano they are terrorists.

Boykin is correct that most of the media is in the pocket of those who would subjugate us. In the summer of 2010 a Saudi prince bought a substantial piece of FOX News. Have you noticed FOX no longer reports the news the same way they used to? They are no longer what I consider a reliable source of news.

He also nails the “hate crime” issue. Pastor John Hagee is fighting against those who would shut him up; but he has the finances to do so. How many churches can afford to defend the myriad of lawsuits and criminal charges if they speak biblical truth openly and plainly? Pastors have been silenced by the IRS with the threat of losing their tax exempt status, and long prison sentences if they speak out. I believe they should speak out anyway but most won’t. I am not in a pulpit so I can only disagree with tolerating this. Truth is the enemy of Marxism and they will go to any means necessary to stifle the truth. Dietrich Bonheoffer, German a pastor, stood up to Adolf Hitler on the same grounds and died in a Nazi concentration camp.

Let me give you an example of Marxist stealth moves in the name of “crime fighting”. Does Operation Gunrunner/Fast & Furious sound familiar? If not let me clue you in. In 2009 Arizona gun dealers reported suspected “straw purchases” of weapons to BATFE as required by federal law. They were told to let the buyers walk and BATFE would follow the guns to see where they wound up. In December 2009 a border patrol agent, Brian Terry, was killed with one of these guns. And what was the reaction of the Obama administration? Do they express sympathy to Terry’s family? No, they want more gun control laws. When the truth came out so did the spin machine. The Obama machine wants to shut these dealers down for “violating” laws regarding the “non-reporting” of firearm purchases while Eric Holder sits and lies to Congress. A little ironic don’t you think?

Hillary Clinton says 90% of the crime in Mexico is committed with guns illegally purchased in the United States through “the gun show loophole”. This is a total lie but once again they cannot let the truth interfere with the implementation of tyranny. A few months ago I saw a video of weapons captured in Mexico. Included were M-79 grenade launchers, M-60 machine guns, Claymore mines, 60 mm mortars, and more. I often attend gun shows and can guarantee that none of those items are sold at gun shows in Oklahoma.

Obama also wants his own private army, pledging allegiance to him not the Constitution. He has made provisions for that army in the obamacare bill, passed by bribery and arm twisting. Is anyone aware of Hitler’s Brown Shirts or the terror brought by the Gestapo?
Please watch and listen to the video very carefully. Our very freedom is teetering on the brink of extinction. We the People, and our nation, are not finished yet but will be if we don’t turn things around very soon. Our children and grandchildren, the future generations, are depending on us to act now to save them from tyranny. The “Greatest Generation” suffered a great deal, and tens of thousands died, to leave my generation a free nation. I will not sit back and allow my heirs to inherit anything less, will you?

The big question is: What do we do to turn this around? First and foremost we need God, we need to PRAY. Every morning my wife and I pray 2 Chronicles 7:14, “if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and will turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear them from Heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land”. My wife and I pray for our nation, our leaders, our military, their families, our family, and a host of other issues every day.

Attend TEA Party rallies when you can. Meet with your state and federal elected officials when possible. If they have the courage to hold a Townhall type meeting, attend and have your voice heard. Call, write, or fax them on a regular basis to let them know where you stand on issues. Please share this message with others. Many want to wait until violence is the only answer but I see that as a lose/lose option. Those nations who wait that long usually trade one despot for another. Our founding fathers were a unique group at a unique time in history. They gave us the guide for a free and prosperous nation. All we have to do is to take our country back to those principles and stand strong on individual responsibility, the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. You have an opportunity now to stand for freedom, will you take that opportunity?

Bringing religion into the discussion, Benson said the following:

Benson was continuously mocked for his talk of secret combinations; however history is proving him right. Ignored for scores of years, appeased by governments near and far, the communist/socialist and yes, Democrat conspiracy, is close to the complete takeover of The United States of America. And it is no accident that men and women of faith are leading the fight today against the communists and socialists who hide behind the deliberately misleading label of “Democrat.” This is not a fight between left and right. In all honesty, this is a fight between good and evil. This is why Catholics, Evangelicals, Mormons, Presbyterians, Quakers, Seventh-day Adventists, Episcopalians, the Disciples of Christ, and members of numerous other religions are united together to fight the common enemy. The election of Barack Obama did two things: (1) it brought into power a member of this communist/socialist conspiracy, and (2) it awoke the sleeping giant that is the good, conservative, God-fearing people of the Earth. The battle has been joined.

Despite the repeated warnings from Benson and others like him, we were slow to recognize the evil that comprises socialism, liberalism, communism, and their front man—the Democratic Party.

Those hallowed words from the Declaration of Independence say it all. We derive our rights from God and not from the State. Are we with those, like Obama, who prefer Alinsky over God? Are we with those who worship the Earth; in essence worshiping the Creation rather than the Creator? Are we going to sit idly by while this secret combination completes its takeover of our country?

There are those who “get it” and are not afraid to be counted among those willing to rise up against this secret combination of tyranny. One of these is Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, who said on February 5, 2012 that “as prime minister of Israel, I will never let my people live in the shadow of annihilation.”

This coming general election might very well be the last chance we have to avoid the total destruction of our society. If we are to defeat Obama then Evangelicals might have to overlook their theological differences with Mitt Romney. Mormons might have to overlook their theological differences with Rick Santorum. Newt Gingrich might have to realize that the needs of his country are greater than his own personal career goals. The Tea Party members might have to swallow their social conservatism just enough to vote for a Republican they don’t totally support. Why? Because we all know what will happen if we don’t!

Make no mistake about it. The secret combination that Benson spoke of is real. It has often been said that Obama is a Manchurian president—wise words from wise men indeed! Obama proudly proclaims his devotion to the working class, the poor, the homeless and the hungry. We have been fooled in the past by such false proclamations from other Democrats, but no more. At a superficial level Obama’s redistributionist doctrine doesn’t seem all that bad. Obama promises the feed the hungry, cloth the naked, and give relief to the sick and the afflicted through nationalized health care. But when we take our blinders off we clearly see that Obama’s policies are designed to take away our personal liberties, deny us our God-given freedoms, and make us all dependent upon a socialist government. Obama seeks to force philanthropy upon us. Obama seeks to remove from us our sacred responsibility to care for our own needs, our self-reliance, and replace it with a collectivistic pot into which all our personal property is thrown. We have to be strong enough to resist the impulse to dip our hands into that collectivistic pot. It is tempting to believe in the notion that all of our needs will be taken care of by a benevolent government. But it comes with a steep price. And remember this, my friends, once freedom is lost it is only regained with the shedding of blood.

We have allowed this gang of socialists, communists, leftists, Democrats, liberals, environmentalist nut jobs, and Occupiers to gain almost total control over us. They hold the United States Senate. They are plotting to regain control of the House of Representatives. They control the Presidency. They hold seats on the Supreme Court and on countless lesser courts of law. They control the Main Stream Media. They control higher education. The teacher unions, for all practical purposes, control secondary education. They have infiltrated our religions, giving us people like the Rev. Wright, Jesse Jackson, and Al Sharpton. They control large segments of our economy. And they are very close to victory. Does that scare you? It should. We have appeased this conspiracy because (1) we didn’t want to offend them, and (2) we shoved our heads in the sand in hopes that they would disappear. Well, they haven’t disappeared. And, thankfully, millions of Americans now realize the danger and are banding together to fight this monstrosity. Some, like me, fight them on Twitter. Millions more are fighting on Facebook. Countless others are lambasting liberals at Town Hall meetings. Others fight simply by removing their children from public schools in order to avoid the forced indoctrination of communist philosophy and instead are homeschooling their children. Others are showing the courage of running for public office. And tens of millions more stand ready to vote this disease out of office. We need them all. On this Super Tuesday, it is my hope that we can finally unite behind a single candidate. We need to bring this primary season to a close, decide on a candidate, and move on to the real fight against Obama and his gang that seek to enslave us.

In conclusion, I find solace in the words of Ronald Reagan.

“You and I have a rendezvous with destiny. We will preserve for our children this, the last best hope of man on earth, or we will sentence them to take the first step into a thousand years of darkness. If we fail, at least let our children and our children’s children say of us we justified our brief moment here. We did all that could be done.”

May God bless you all, my dear patriots. We have arrived at that rendezvous with destiny foreseen by Ronald Reagan. We have until November 6, 2012 to proclaim liberty to all the land. I pray that our efforts will be successful.

Kim Jong-Il has died, and will be replaced by his son, Kim Jong-Un. At this moment, I believe we have a singluar opportunity to topple the most barbaric regime in the modern world.

Some background:

North Korea relies on its black markets. North Korea’s more-Stalinist-than-Stalin laws which centralize the economy are so restrictive that authorities have had to turn a blind eye to black market ventures- such as the private sale of grain between persons (illegal since 1957, but unenforced from 1990 until 2005)- just to allow people to subsist and to bring hard currency into the country.

A 2002 attempt by the NK government to legalize some of this black market and slightly liberalize the economy turned out to have worked too well- too many North Koreans were found to have been participating in these ventures, and the government rescinded these minor freedoms in 2005 and resumed enforcing Stalinist laws which hadn’t been enforced in decades.

According to Andrei Lankov, the average North Korean household drew nearly 80% of its income from these minor capitalist ventures at one point. This is astonishing, considering the criminal penalties for breaking the law in North Korea. The communist system is such a complete failure that people risk execution or generational imprisonment of their families by undertaking minor black market activities just to survive in a country where famine is so widespread some people are resorting to cannibalism.

These necessary and natural black markets also carry outside information into North Korea, primarily in the form of South Korean CDs and magazines. There is clearly a desire in North Korea for contact with the outside world.

This reminds us of something we already know about communism in general: It’s always doomed to failure. The more hardline a communist regime, the shorter the regime’s life expectancy will be. North Korea has become more hardline in the last several years- tightening economic controls in 2005 and wiping out citizens’ savings by revaluing the NK won, for example.

The death of Kim Jong-Il and the apparent takeover by his son, Kim Jong-Un, means that this monstrous state has reached its “rock bottom”: the most total of totalitarian governments, organized for decades to be totally dependent on a single, deified leader, will now bestow absolute authority on a fat, spoiled, unprepared 28-year-old psychopath who only got the job because his older brother was deemed “too girly” by their father. In other words, Kim Jong-Un will undoubtedly be a modern-day Caligula in charge of an already-failing regime.

Couple this with an already-desperate condition for most of North Korea’s population, and an ever-growing desire for contact and trade with the rest of the world, and we have the conditions for a regime change.

Any act which the United States and its allies can take to undermine this failing state would be a positive step- and would be especially devastating at this particular time. Suspending food and oil shipments, sanctioning North Korea’s central bank, hijacking North Korea’s broadcast media to spread the message of freedom, promoting North Korea’s black markets, all of these acts and others would contribute to hastening the fall of the DPRK.

We have a unique opportunity at this moment to topple the most oppressive government in the world, without military force, simply by taking advantage of the already-present desire of many North Koreans to be free of their dictator and improve their living conditions.

In other words, we have a chance to do to North Korea what Ronald Reagan did to the Soviet Union.

PYONGYANG, North Korea (AP) – Kim Jong Il, North Korea’s mercurial and enigmatic longtime leader, has died of heart failure. He was 69.

In a “special broadcast” Monday from the North Korean capital, state media said Kim died of a heart ailment on a train due to a “great mental and physical strain” on Dec. 17 during a “high intensity field inspection.” It said an autopsy was done on Dec. 18 and “fully confirmed” the diagnosis.

Kim is believed to have suffered a stroke in 2008, but he had appeared relatively vigorous in photos and video from recent trips to China and Russia and in numerous trips around the country carefully documented by state media. The communist country’s “Dear Leader” – reputed to have had a taste for cigars, cognac and gourmet cuisine – was believed to have had diabetes and heart disease.

President Chavez created new national laws not unlike the U.S. Dodd-Frank supposed financial reform law that Barack Obama signed on July21, 2010. ( along with the supposed food safety law, and Obama-care that completes the tri-fecta of taking over banks, food companies and producers, and the complete U.S. health-care system)

The Chavez’ method of operation in stealing the total private sector wealth of private sector companies and taking over their total economy was done quickly and right out in the open, whereas Barack Obama’s plans have been quietly designed and signed into law beneath the radar of the public and many under-qualified members of Congress, who either do not see the stealth takeover of the private sector by the U.S.  government, or are choosing to turn their backs on the very people who elected them into power by remaining silent. Make no mistake here, the Obama and Chavez  doctrines run  extremely parallel and are rooted in the Marxist ideology of  Socialist wealth redistribution by a plutocracy that in the end ends up in an all-powerful Communist collective. First, let’s look at what Mr. Chavez has done in Venezuela.

Chavez’s government well knows ( in his own mind) that the dollar-blinded rich in Venezuela must be defeated politically. A democratic economy is essential, and as private ownership fails to meet the needs of the masses, the state is taking over and formulating alternative ways of managing production and distribution. The pricing system is being moderated and social priorities are replacing market manipulation. As the global banking crisis and its scandals grew, the Venezuelan government ensured effective regulation at home. Several small private banks were taken over following revelations of bank fraud. (No fair trial, no evidence needed, just revelations) In November the main shareholder of a group of four banks, Grupo Financiero Bolivar, Ricardo Fernandez, known as a Chavez supporter, was arrested. Two of the banks were nationalised, and two were closed. The Institute in Defence of People’s Access to Goods and Services took control of four food companies owned by Ricardo Fernandez, to make sure there were no supply disruptions. Subsequently, a further three banks were nationalised and, on 11 December, Venezuela’s Superintendency of Banks closed an eighth.

Chavez declared on 10 December. “I have ordered the takeover of tuna, fish, corn processing and rice companies, as well as [the bankers’] estates and cattle … this will become wealth for the people’. He added: ‘We are confronting these problems in a coordinated manner with the whole state, and we are taking over companies that were forming a kind of network …We cannot wait until tomorrow. At the first sign, [we take] immediate action and inexorably apply the established laws and procedures.”  (Just like Liberal fake democrats in the U.S. created a slew of laws with no allowed input from Republicans or we the people, Chavez and company drew up and instituted their own laws)

The Venezuelan media takeover has played a central part in Chavez’ plans:  In this battle the media is central, and on 23 January RCTV and five other cable channels were temporarily taken off the air for breaking transmission laws requiring them to televise government announcements. On 14 January the state expropriated the sugar mills ‘Casta’, in the state of Tachira and the ‘La Batalla’ agricultural mill in the state of Barinas, to turn them into social property. All of this was accomplished when Hugo Chavez was given permission to rule by decree, without any input from the National Assembly:  Venezuelan lawmakers loyal to President Hugo Chavez Wednesday approved a measure granting the U.S.-baiting left-wing leader authority to rule by decree  for the next 18 months.  Informed Americans have now come to realize that Obama and company now effectively control the mainstream media, as shown by their refusal to report on Obama’s questionable past, radical associations, and college Marxist ideology such as is thoroughly documented right here.  Now we shall look into what is going on in our banking sector, as we already have been made aware of the complete takeover of our healthcare system, 2 major auto companies, the government intervention into our agriculture sector enabled by the Food Safety Bill, all done in very much the same way Hugo Chavez has done in Venezuela, as shown above.

Signing of Dodd-Frank Bill enables Leftists and Obama Crony-Capitalists to take control of U.S. banks

          The FDIC closed 157 banks in 2010 and the current total for 2011 now stands at 90. 

During trips to several small towns in our area during the past two years, my family has always ended up discussing the possible reasons as to why all of the banks now have new names. The only bank still under it’s original name is the Bank of America, along with two credit unions. Why is this? If a bank is closed, how is it that it reopens almost immediately under a new name, and just why is this happening at an alarmingly increasing rate today? I recently discovered the answers to those questions, and several other questions others may have concerning the massive numbers of bank closings since 2009, and it is pretty unsettling, to say the least. 

            How is the takeover of hundreds of U.S. Banks being engineered today?

In order to close a bank down, surely there must be strict laws in place to provide security against fraud to protect depositors, taxpayers who have to foot the bill under bank foreclosures under FDIC guidelines, and their investors right? Well it turns out there were protections put into place.. until the passage of the Dodd-Frank financial reform act came along and changed the rules. First in March of 2009, the federal government starting stress testing the largest banks in the U.S. (note that this was immediately started in Obama’s first year in office) Please see The Case for Stress-Testing Community Banks*. Since this was actually the start of this method of evaluating banks, and then authorizing the FDIC to close them down, it is important to understand the role of  SCAP,  for Supervisory Capital Assessment Program and the subsequent evolution of the Dodd-Frank bill that now allows the federal reserve and the U. S. government to shut down any FDIC insured bank in America at any time. (Just like Chavez did, with zero input from elected officials)

The SCAP was launched in March 2009 to stress the capital of the 19 largest banks. This was a supervisory exercise to determine the capital buffers sufficient to withstand losses and sustain lending in institutions the U.S. Government deemed “systemically significant,” or “too big to fail.” While it was unlikely the rest of the banking industry would tolerate a system‐wide stress test, Federal policy was essentially leaving the rest of the industry to market forces and the normal FDIC resolution process. ( but not for long as we shall see next)

The stress test focused on the level and composition of capital for two years into the future. The test was conducted under two macroeconomic scenarios for two years forward:

o Baseline scenario based on consensus expectations as of February 2009; and

o More adverse scenario assuming a deeper and longer‐term downturn

(Ironically, this “more adverse” scenario was very close to what the U.S. Experienced).

The original SCAP program set the stage for Dodd-Frank regulations that would allow these “stress tests”, ( that actually had no proven benefit what so ever) to be injected into financial law. This marked a turning point on the thinking and attitude of the SCAP and the role stress testing could play in the banking industry.

Dodd‐Frank Act

The value of stress testing was cemented as Congress crafted regulatory reform. To ensure stress

testing became part of the fabric of bank supervision, Congress memorialized it in the following ways:

1. Federal Reserve to provide at least three different sets of conditions for firms to stress test

against;

2. Federal Reserve to do annual stress tests on bank holding companies over 50 billion in assets

and non‐bank financial firms under Federal Reserve supervision;

3. Above firms required to do their own semi‐annual stress test; and

4. All other banks with assets greater than 10 billion required to do annual stress test.

While the legislation establishes bright lines for the size of institutions which are required to perform stress testing, the entire financial services industry should be prepared for increased expectations as financial regulators become accustomed to seeing stress testing as part of the risk management framework and an important part of the supervisory process. Increasingly, bank management will find it difficult to demonstrate sufficient risk management processes without incorporating an element of stress testing.

Take note: Community Bank Performance 2009 & 2010

The pace of bank failures increased significantly in 2009, with 140 institutions being closed. As of October 1, 2010, 129 banks have closed in 2010. That has increased to a total of 247 bank closures during 2010, and 2011. As we see billions of dollars in losses putting a huge strain on the FDIC insurance fund, just who ends up taking over these ‘closed banks’ that end up reopened almost the very same day/week that they were shut down?
