In a little over two weeks there will be a Statewide ballot initiative in Ohio that is of major importance to every single American citizen. This should in fact, be a National vote for all affected citizens as opposed to it just being a State ballot vote due to it’s wide-ranging implications.

On Nov. 8th the voters of Ohio will go to the polling stations to vote on an attempt by Big Labor Unions to repeal the democratically passed Senate Bill 05, which was signed into law by Governor Kasich back in March, 2011. ( Known on ballot as ** Issue 2**)

Before the ink was even dry after the signing of SB 5 into law, big labor was on the march, creating another community organizing group to demand the law’s repeal, this one with the catch-phrase title, We Are Ohio. I guess the 85% of the working folks in the State of Ohio that chose not to belong to big Labor Unions are now being told they are no longer Ohioans. If big labor Unions are Ohio, just what are the other 85% of the Ohio public supposed to be? Michiganders? Doesn’t their vote count too? Is this what the democracy looks like that Unions so love to chant about at these protest rallies that are designed to…..ignore the majority of the voting public and the laws that their elected officials pass? Democrats and their Union bed-pals are desperate to hold onto power in 2012 and that is exactly what this ballot initiative is all about.

I invite everyone to check out the above-linked We Are Ohio page. They put out what appears to be a white paper in a fact-checking form, yet their “facts” leave a lot to be desired. We will just visit one blaring piece of misinformation that proves that We Are Ohio is nothing more than a left-wing-big-Union-promoting-propaganda media outlet designed to fool the good people of Ohio into repealing SB 5. ( Issue 2 on the ballot) Here is what the Union power-brokers would like you to believe: ( from the Union propaganda page, We Are Ohio)

MYTH: Public employees are overpaid, and their salaries need to be brought in line with the private sector.
TRUTH: A recent Rutgers University study found Ohio public employees earn 6 percent less on a yearly basis than their peers in the private sector. They earn 3.5% less on an hourly basis. The average OAPSE (Ohio Association of Public School Employee) makes $24,000 a year and retires with an average pension of $900 a month. Public employees do not pay into or receive Social Security. ( emphasis mine)

In a scathing rebuttal to the ludicrous claims that Ohio teachers earn less than the private sector and “retire with an average pension of $900.00 a month, we see a retired Ohio teacher explain how the Union gimmickry is being used to against the Ohio taxpayers in a Columbus Dispatch editorial:

We had an administrator who retired at $80,000 a year, was rehired at the same salary he had just left behind, and then got another $40,000 a year from the State Teachers Retirement System, making him $120,000 a year. ( emphasis mine)

For the mathematically-challenged propagandists over at We Are Ohio, that equates to a pension of $10,000.00 a month, a far cry from the $900 that We Are Ohio wants you to believe. The retired teacher went even further in showing why he thinks this is bad for the taxpayers of Ohio:

So, when he was rehired, 85 percent of his $80,000 was paid by the taxpayers of Ohio. In this one simple action by the local school board, every taxpayer in our state was held liable for his salary.
Members of the public should have some say in the matter, since it’s their money.

I believe Ohio Senate Bill 5 would put the power of spending their hard-earned dollars back in the hands of the taxpayers, just where it should be. Submitted by, DAVID A. KUNKLER

Unlike the Wisconsin Union recall effort, conservatives are not taking this fight lying down and created a group titled Building a Better Ohio. On that website we see several examples like that of the retired teacher above that debunk the propaganda of We Are Ohio. Here is another well-explained example of just how disgusting the misinformation being put out by We Are Ohio truly is, from an editorial in the Canton Repository titled, SB5 Needed to Fix Bizarre Compensation:

Now let’s look at the “average Stark County resident;” bear in mind that public-sector employees are included in this average. If an average resident earns $25,285 and benefits provided by the employer cost $13,660, the total cost to employ the “average” county resident is $38,945, but compare that to a (Union) teacher in the Jackson Local Schools who has a base salary of $65,031 plus $23,895 paid by the “employer” (taxpayer), or $88,926 for a year of their “labor,” which is about nine months. (emphasis mine)

There we have it. An average Stark County Ohio resident’s total compensation, including wages and benefits is right at $39 grand a year, while a union teacher in the very same county ‘s package totals a whopping $89 grand a year for a difference of $50 grand a year. This is why responsible State legislators across America are scrambling to install some sort of fiscal sanity back into their budgets and curtailing big labor Union costs by passing laws such as Ohio’s SB 05. Now Unions are on the March to deny the working folks the right to say how there tax dollars will be spent once again.

Let’s hope Ohioans will vote YES ON ISSUE 2 on Nov. 8th. This will affect States across America if the good people of Ohio do not step up and vote yes, and conservatives across America should try to help out by making donations to help Building a Better Ohio to help fight back against the big labor Union misinformation campaign now know as We Are Ohio.

The {fake}Reverend Al Sharpton led a rally in our nation’s capitol today, which originally was supposed to be a demand for Congress to pass Obama’s Jobs bill. The U.S. Senate put the kibosh on those plans, as it voted down Obama’s jobs bill last week. That did not prevent the latest faux journolist to be put on national display at MSNBC from grabbing the microphone and prepping D.C. for Obama’s dedication speech for the new MLK Jr. memorial tomorrow. And prep them he did. While Sharpton did throw in some support for Obama’s now dead jobs bill, that was nowhere near the main theme of this rally. The message that Sharpton wanted to tell the nation was unadulterated Marxist ideology 101 = WEALTH REDISTRIBUTION. From Eric Tucker of the AP via startribune.com: Al Sharpton enlisted Martin Luther King III for the main theme:

King’s eldest son, Martin Luther King III, was also among the speakers.

“Over 45 years ago, my father talked about a redistribution of wealth. In fact, that is probably why he was killed,” King said. “Because he said if America is going to survive responsibly, then it must have a redistribution of wealth.” (emphasis mine)

I,ll let that statement, which was spoken in our nation’s capitol, right in front of the Washington Monument no less, speak for itself. For the uninformed masses who still deny Barack Obama’s deep-seated Marxist ideology, even after he said almost those exact same words in 2008 to Joe the Plumber in Ohio, here is the definition of Marxism by education.yahoo.com:

The political and economic philosophy of Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels in which the concept of class struggle plays a central role in understanding society’s allegedly inevitable development from bourgeois oppression under capitalism to a socialist and ultimately classless society.

Get that? To form a Socialist and ultimately classless society. Play the class warfare victim cards, collapse the free market system and install a utopian Socialistic Society.. where there is one main class of people… what they refuse to tell people is that Socialism results in widespread poverty that in turn breeds a Dictatorship class of rulers that ends up making decisions such as who gets to eat and who doesn’t. For a more complete understanding about the wealth re-distributive principles inherent in Marxism, please read this article: The Communist Manifesto – The Capitalist Manifesto – Socialism by Bill Glynn.

Al Sharpton’s rally (from the above link, at startribune.com) also had other points of interest, such as condemning state laws requiring voter identification at the polls and protesting the recent execution of Troy Davis, a Georgia man convicted of killing an off-duty police officer. Davis maintained his innocence until his death and attracted thousands of supporters worldwide even though courts repeatedly ruled there wasn’t enough evidence to exonerate him. Marxism relies on the breaking down of a societal system, including corrupting the electoral system which is why these people decry Voter ID laws today.

In case you are wondering who else was at this Marxist protest rally in our nation’s capitol on Saturday, here are the other notable people including many of our very own government’s tax-payer funded employees:

Kathie Williams, a part-time administrator for the Howard County, Md., parks and recreation department. She’d like to find full-time work but has struggled to do so despite an active search.

Belinda Shade, 56, of Waldorf, Md., works as a special education school administrator but said the economy still makes her insecure.

District of Columbia Mayor Vincent Gray held a separate protest supporting greater autonomy for the district government — Congress must approve the local government’s budget — and joined in the larger gathering. Labor Secretary Hilda Solis and Randi Weingarten of the American Federation of Teachers were among the other speakers.

Wait a minute, someone from the American Federation of Teachers was there too? Isn’t that just another fancy name for a UNION? Yes it is.

Chanting for jobs and justice, many demonstrators carried banners for their labor unions and wore pins or T-shirts bearing King’s likeness. Obama is scheduled to speak Sunday at the dedication ceremony for the memorial, the first monument dedicated to a black leader on the National Mall. (emphasis mine)

In summary, the [fake] Reverend Al Sharpton made it a point to say this has absolutely nothing to do with Barack Obama’s reelection campaign. In Sharpton’s eloquent [bought and paid for by MSNBC]-speak he ended his speech with, ”This is not about Obama,” he said. “This is about my mama.” Kinda makes me feel like Sharpton is just as gifted a speaker as the teleprompter-in-chief there.

How many times will America have to witness these anti-American Marxism preachers at events like this one at the National Monument, where big labor Unions, Socialists disguised as Democrats, Communists and MSNBC’s newest propagandist Al Sharpton are all shown to be promoting the overthrow and collapse of America, before they will take a stand against them?

Footnote: What is the now-stated main theme of the Occupy Wall Street protests today? Marxist wealth redistribution in the form of living wages regardless of employment, complete debt forgiveness, free houses for everyone regardless of ability to pay, good jobs regardless of qualifications, etc.etc.etc. Take from the working class and give to the freeloader-class until everyone is mired in poverty.

From Sharpton’s DC rally, to the Wall Street protests across the nation, with the support of many Socialists sitting in our Congress disguised as Democrats, America is being systematically dismantled by anti-American Marxist collaborators, including our own President, Barack Obama. 2012 just can’t get here fast enough.

No one outside of the actual Occupy Wall Street protesters believes that the events are anything but a set of union-organized and bolstered campaigns. Union elites are staging these events to try and turn the current anti-union popular sentiment against companies and jobs creators instead.

The unions’ messaging will either co-opt the purpose of the protests or muddy the already confused set of causes coming out of occupy this and occupy that events. Are these protests intending to get banks to lower debit card fees? Is it to get the rich to pay their "fair share" as Obama so wrongly puts it, is it to give unions more tools to intimidate workers (card-check)? Protesters are asking for anarchy, communism, socialism, a dictatorship, end to corporations, and complaining that they are so poor that they have no choice but to run around bare-breasted.

The protesters are just asking for much more government, or no government depending upon who you talk to. There is no cohesive message, but the unions are about to change that – for their benefit.

Back in March, ex-labor leader and self-title "economic terrorist" Steven Lerner was pushing for these kinds of "disruptions". Here’s an excerpt of a piece by Ezra Klein in the Washington Post:

Union types are always looking for “leverage.” Leverage is what I have that gives me power over you. And Lerner thinks he’s identified the point of leverage that workers and homeowners and students have over the financial system. “What does the other side fear most?” Lerner asked. “They fear disruption, they fear uncertainty.

Now, big-labor is becoming more heavily involved to create the disruption Lerner so often speaks of. Big labor believes that if they can collapse the economy, Americans and politicians will bend to their will more easily. Are they right?

To start, unions are asking for corporations to pay more in taxes to create more jobs – because that makes sense in the land of rainbow-farting unicorns. Soon, big-labor will add their real messaging of instituting card-check and putting limits on how much corporations can donate to political campaigns while unions maintain their ability to bundle and donate unlimited amounts of money to liberal candidates.

Labor leaders were until recently quietly propping up these events, but thanks to a letter from current SEIU President Mary Kay Henry, the amount of union involvement in this supposed people’s grassroots revolt is not only obvious, but flaunted (emphasis mine).

Dear friend,

By now you’ve seen the thousands of brave students, workers and the unemployed occupying Wall Street.

But did you know that as of yesterday, there are over 300 solidarity "occupy events" happening across the country and around the clock?

In Philadelphia, 1,000+ individuals took to City Hall on Tuesday night.

In Washington, D.C., people have camped out in McPherson Square, symbolically located on K Street, since last week.

In L.A., citizens have spent six straight days and nights outside City Hall protesting against income inequality and joblessness.

The crowds and peaceful demonstrations will only get larger and louder as more Americans find the courage to stand up and demand Wall Street, CEOs and millionaires pay their fair share to create good jobs now.

This is the moment that determines whether this movement succeeds or falls flat. Will you pledge to help the movement spread by visiting an Occupy event in Bell Buckle? You can sign up and find a comprehensive list of events here:

http://action.seiu.org/occupy-wall-street

Over the last few weeks we’ve seen crowds of "Occupy Wall Street" protestors capture the nation’s attention as they stood their ground despite aggressive police behavior and hundreds of arrests.

These courageous young activists have given us all a shot of inspiration and hope that we can indeed turn this country around.

We are proud of the actions taken by 1199 United Healthcare Workers East, SEIU 32BJ and other SEIU local unions to support the Wall Street protests.

But as we talk to other "Occupy" participants across the country, they tell us their first need is people.

So we’re working with our friends at Daily Kos to see if we can help.

Find an Occupy event happening in your city and pledge to sign up to get involved. You can do that here:

http://action.seiu.org/occupy-wall-street

As part of a peaceful, united movement we can do so much more to demonstrate the increasing urgency of the crisis our country faces and shine a light on those responsible.

Let’s go for it!

In solidarity,

Mary Kay Henry
