The Boy Scout Oath:

“On my honor I will do my best …. to keep myself physically strong, mentally alert and morally straight.”

There is a definite battle within the Boy Scouts of America, challenging their Timeless Values! Now, even an Eagle Scout is doing all he can to challenge those values, which were founded 103 years ago!

What happened to morally straight? Oh yes, it is the complete opposite of the homosexual lifestyle! The gay community, though they only comprise approximately 3.5% of the Nation’s population, insists that the straight population (96.5% of the Nation’s population!) change to please their ways! It is a choice they make, yet they expect everyone to bow to their demands!

I am sure it won’t be long before the Boy Scouts of America bends to the whims and demands of the homosexual community! If not now, in the near future! They Left is militant in their pursuit.

This Eagle Scout and his son protested the current ban by riding their bikes 1,800 miles. They arrived at Boy Scout headquarters in Irving, Texas yesterday.

If Lois Lerner can plead the 5th Amendment, the American citizens should have the same Constitutional right! We are told that paying taxes is “voluntary“. So the next time you are audited by the IRS, take Lois Lerner’s example, and tell them you have not done anything wrong, and you are invoking your Constitutional right to plead the 5th. Continue by telling them that you understand since you are invoking your right to the 5th Amendment, they probably assume you are guilty of a crime, but you are not. Due to the fact that one of the basic functions of the 5th Amendment is to protect innocent individuals, that is the protection you are invoking. Conclude by telling them that Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid says paying taxes is “voluntary”, so you will not be answering any questions from them!

Harry Reid believes paying taxes in America is “voluntary”. This is a man that has been a Senator for 26 years! He is currently the Majority Leader in the United States Senate! The fact that he has been elected to office so many times is astounding! He is the poster boy for term limits!

So, ultimately, you can’t “cheat” on your taxes, but, it’s still “voluntary”! This is a special kind of stupid!

During the Friday evening edition of CNN’s “Piers Morgan Tonight”, host Piers Morgan talked with comedian Penn Jillette. Much of the conversation centered on the trifecta of scandals surrounding President Barack Obama and his administration – the Benghazi terrorist attack, IRS targeting of conservative opponents of the administration, and the Department of Justice’s collecting of phone records of reporters and editors at the Associated Press.

At one point, Morgan recalled his confrontations with gun activists and how he thought they were irrational when they referenced the fear of a tyrannical government as a point of justification during their arguments.

The British host then did an about-face and admitted that the behavior of the government throughout these scandals is bordering on tyrannical – particularly the AP scandal and how it attacks the free press.

Armor-Clad CA Mayor Seeks Support

Stockton, the small resort city South of Sacramento, California sought bankruptcy protection from its obligations last summer. The bankruptcy filing by Stockton, more than 290,000 residents, has been closely watched by both bond insurers who guaranteed the city’s debt and CalPERS, the state pension fund for public workers.

Retiree health care, financed by most California cities on a pay-as-you-go basis, and pension payments based on union agreements pushed Stockton, along with several other California cities into bankruptcy.

New Stockton mayor, Anthony Silva brought with him armor and a helmet (which he donned) during his unique State of the City address this week. The mayor plead with city residents to join him in helping clean up the city both literally and figuratively. The mayor believes raising taxes is the only way the city will be able to improve safety in the crime ridden city. At over 14% unemployment it is expected that Silva will meet opposition among both the council and residents to his plan.
