Consider what would have happened if there had been four deaths in connection with the IRS attacks, as happened in Benghazi. Result: It happened a long time ago and what difference does it make?

Repaying the MSM would not have been difficult. For example, at the recent Tea Party–dominated Republican convention in Virginia, conservatives could’ve done something simple like book a minstrel show for entertainment, sing ‘Dixie’ before the National Anthem or burn a cross for illumination. Stereotypes would have been confirmed and MSM self–satisfaction could continue unchallenged.

But no, out of seven candidates running for Lt. Governor the overwhelmingly white, middle–aged Tea Party Republicans had to go and pick the only black guy in the bunch! Even worse. E. W. Jackson had raised the least money of any of the candidates and instead had to base his hope for victory on an impassioned speech before the assembled delegates.

A black guy that can make a speech and impress Republicans? Who’d a thunk it?

In fact the WaPost complained, “it’s almost inconceivable that (Jackson) could have won an open party primary.” Which is true, since a primary would have been dominated by something WaPost leftists claim to hate even more than conservative blacks and that’s money in politics.

Bottom line? Media leftists prefer capitalist money influencing elections to blacks escaping the Democrat plantation. (But on the plus side, Rev. Jackson is one candidate you can legitimately ask about the content of his prayers.)

Instead Jackson, who in addition to being a minister is a graduate of Harvard Law School and a Marine veteran, won through personal contact and the force of his personality. And what a personality it is! No mottled shades of gray here.

Media leftists consider conservative minority politicians to be deeply embarrassing and something a decent person would want to keep private and within the family; like a son who wanted to marry a man. Besides being guilty of thought crimes, a black Republican that opposes the Democrat platform of amnesty, abortion and alternative lifestyle is called an Uncle Tom.

This is another example of leftist revisionism. Back when Democrats were leaning on the Supreme Court for legitimacy and dominated politics and culture while being on the wrong side of slavery; a black who supported ‘massa and claimed to be happy with his lot, was called an Uncle Tom for kneeling before power. Frederick Douglass was a hero for fighting against injustice and going against prevailing legal and cultural norms. (Dang, wasn’t Douglass a Republican, too?)

Today Democrats again lean on the Supreme Court for legitimacy, dominate politics along with culture and are on the wrong side of abortion. The legal system is cluttered with “hate crime” legislation, homosexuals qualify for special rights, Christians are to be kept in the closet and any attempt to regulate abortion is called a “war on women.” Yet a black that supports conservatives is instantly branded an Uncle Tom, when the reverse is actually true. This means Utah’s Mia Love is Fredericka Douglass on a courageous crusade for truth and Susan Rice is Aunt Jemima.

And make no mistake the WaPost is in a snit regarding Jackson. Columnist Robert McCartney did everything but call him “macca” in a column this week. McCartney says that Jackson on the ticket will reflect poorly on gubernatorial nominee Ken Cuccinelli. This is because fiery black ministers only cause problems when they are linked for a few months to a white candidate, while sitting in the Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s church for 20 years is just a coincidence for Barack Obama.

McCartney quotes Jackson as saying gays have “perverted” minds and are “very sick people psychologically and mentally and emotionally.” And he adds Jackson has described President Obama as “an evil presence” and liberal abortion policy as “infanticide.”

So I think VA Republicans are just going to have to resign themselves to losing Megan McCain’s vote this year.

Another red flag for McCartney came when Jackson said Planned Parenthood has been more lethal to blacks than the Ku Klux Klan. I will admit the only politician with the moral stature necessary to make modern–day slavery comparisons is Joe Biden. But that being said, Jackson does have the facts on his side — as if that makes any difference to the left.

The number of blacks killed by lynching in the US between 1864 and 1968 was 4,946. You can add to that beatings and intimidation by both the Klan and freelance bigots who didn’t want to be bogged down with a formal commitment to an organization.

Compare that with 18,778,000 black babies killed by an abortionist between only 1973 and 2013. Nathan Bedford Forest doesn’t begin to compare with your local Planned Parenthood facility manager when it comes to eliminating young blacks.

The WaPost was also appalled at VA Republicans for having a convention in the first place. In their view being committed enough to give up your Saturday and attend a largely boring convention disqualifies one for participation in the decision–making process.

The mandarins at the Post complain that the 8,000 delegates attending the Richmond convention were less than one percent of the people who claim to be Republicans in Virginia. Yet I don’t recall them complaining when only 5,556 delegates to the Democrat National Convention in 2012 approved a far left platform way out of the mainstream of American thought. (I hope the WaPost has not reverted to the practice of only counting 3/5ths of a Republican for apportionment purposes as Democrats did during slavery.)

Virginia conservatives have provided voters with a clear choice in November: A Republican ticket composed of social and government conservatives versus whatever opportunists the Democrats have handy.

The media will just have to cope with the fact that Jackson’s nomination has ruined what was to be the favorite headline this fall: VA Republicans – Whiter Than White; Righter Than Right.

Across the dial reporters are speaking out about the invasion of privacy the Department of Justice perpetrated against a Fox Investigative reporter James Rosen and the Fox News Network. This news comes less than a week after the AP reported that their phone records had been seized by the DoJ.

Finally.

At long last, reporters are seeing that the DoJ, under Attorney General Eric Holder, has pushed an agenda that is involved in spying and cover up. This is not new. But the realization by the left this administration is now investigating and watching journalists appears to be the final straw.

From Keith Olbermann to Chuck Todd, across the country journalists on both sides are standing with FNC and Rosen.

The heretofore antithesis of FNC NBC News broke the story today that Holder had, in fact, signed off on the search warrant against the FNC reporter.

Attorney General Eric Holder signed off on a controversial search warrant that identified Fox News reporter James Rosen as a “possible co-conspirator” in violations of the Espionage Act and authorized seizure of his private emails, a law enforcement official told NBC News on Thursday.

The disclosure of the attorney general’s role came as President Barack Obama, in a major speech on his counter-terrorism policy, said Holder had agreed to review Justice Department guidelines governing investigations that involve journalists.

From the Washington Post a memo sent by Fox News Chief Roger Ailes:

We reject the government’s efforts to criminalize the pursuit of investigative journalism and falsely characterize a Fox News reporter to a Federal judge as a “co-conspirator” in a crime. I know how concerned you are because so many of you have asked me: why should the government make me afraid to use a work phone or email account to gather news or even call a friend or family member? Well, they shouldn’t have done it. The administration’s attempt to intimidate Fox News and its
employees will not succeed and their excuses will stand neither the test of law, the test of decency, nor the test of time. We will not allow a climate of press intimidation, unseen since the McCarthy era, to frighten any of us away from the truth.

CBS News reporter Sharyl Attkisson, while not pointing fingers, yet, did state this week that her personal and work computers have been hacked and are under investigation.

Politico reports: “I can confirm that an intrusion of my computers has been under some investigation on my end for some months but I’m not prepared to make an allegation against a specific entity today as I’ve been patient and methodical about this matter,” Attkisson told POLITICO. “I need to check with my attorney and CBS to get their recommendations on info we make public.”

In an earlier interview with WPHT Philadelphia, Attkisson said that though she did not know the full details of the intrustion, “there could be some relationship between these things and what’s happened to James [Rosen],” the Fox News reporter who became the subject of a Justice Dept. investigation after reporting on CIA intelligence about North Korea in 2009.

As you watch the news clip below, be reminded that this administration was involved in leaking personal emails of General Petraeus which resulted in his resignation. In addition, AG Holder refused to accept responsibility for the Fast and Furious debacle which occurred under his watch and resulted in deaths of US agents, numerous Mexican citizens and a multitude of weapons released across the border in a botched effort to control drug smuggling.

This afternoon, even the Huffington Post is seeing the danger of a government that uses underhanded methods to quelch both investigative reporters and their whistle blower sources.

Today’s bold headline at HuffPo loudly proclaims, “Time to Go”.

Many, especially those born post Soviet Union, don’t realize the significance when a government limits the news. A free press investigating and with the ability to tell citizens the truth is a critical part of our open society.

Is there no standard of decency at all anywhere in the Democrat Party?  Is there no one in the entire mass of the party who will stand up and say this is outrageous and unacceptable?? Apparently not!!!  Shouldn’t liberals be coming out with legislation to ban tornados since they indiscriminately kill innocent men, women, and children???  Is there no honor, no class, no soul in the party???  Is there no one to call these Neanderthals out for their lack of any kind of human decency at all????

America as a nation is lost if this is the best we can find to represent We the People in government and “media”.  Everything about them is agenda driven.  There is no feeling, no dignity, no honor, no honesty, no class, no decency anywhere in these obscene pronouncements.  These same people cheer for a professional no-name athlete “coming out” as gay and praise women who murder their unborn children, then protest the death penalty for convicted murderers as “cruel and unusual punishment”; they decry guns, inanimate objects, used by a nut to murder children in a school and cheer when children of the same age are killed by a tornado.  How does any human being do that???

These people are beyond despicable!!!  No one with this attitude should ever be allowed to sit in the seat of government, nor should anyone of this ilk be a member of the media.  Politicians swear an oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America yet spend every breath looking for a way to destroy said document, and will use any event or any tragedy to further their control and their power over the citizens of this once-great nation.

Where are we to go if this is what We the People put in charge of our nation?  How can any nation or group of people survive if this is the kind of heartless trash that are in charge of government??  What does this say about the overall quality of American society???

This reminds me of the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.  Democrats blamed George W. Bush despite the fact that the requests for help had to come from Democrats who were in charge of the city and state at the time.  They made as much political hay as they could from a tragedy that befell other Americans. Democrats allowed poor blacks to die rather than use available assets to save them. Conservatives didn’t gloat when most of the Katrina victims were black Democrats in New Orleans.  At that moment they were Americans beset by a tragedy they couldn’t stop, Americans that needed our help.  And help we did; with prayers, money, labor, supplies, and anything else we could do to help.

It also reminds me of the reaction in the Muslim world to Katrina. Remember the cries of joy and statements that their satanic “allah” had punished America for its evil ways?? Do you remember the earthquake a few weeks later in Pakistan/Afghanistan that killed over 200,000???   Did Americans gloat, laugh, and point fingers???  No, we jumped in to help those devastated and in need of help.  They were people in need of help and we did what we could to help because they were suffering.

America is the heartland of the world and Oklahoma is the heartland of America. Oklahomans are a resilient bunch and we will come back by the sweat of our brow and the love and help of our neighbors.  We believe in the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; and that the right to cling to our faith and our guns comes from God not from government.  We believe in helping our neighbors, not out of duty but out of kindness and love.  We don’t need bureaucrats and politicians to tell us how to look after those who suffer loss of property and life from any cause.  We don’t care who, what, when, where, why, or how; we are there to help in any way possible.

For anyone to make light of this tragedy and to use it for cheap political theatrics is beyond despicable.  We are either a nation or we are not.  For a group of people to gloat over the misfortune of others because their political opinions don’t match up is disgusting and perverted.

This kind of behavior, although typical of liberals, is not what our founders had in mind when they established this great nation.  They expected us to pull together and to help when help is needed, not play cheap parlor games with the pain and suffering of those we see as opponents.

Liberalism is a mental disorder highlighted by a total arrogant disdain for others, and the selfishness of an evil that lurks in the realm of Satan.  Our nation cannot survive the kind of vitriol we see in liberalism.  If this continues to be the rule rather than the exception we will lose what little bit of liberty we have left and find ourselves at the mercy of people who have no mercy in their hearts and no soul in their being.

And the ultimate insult will come Sunday May 26, 2013 when His Royal Highness King Barack I will honor us with his presence.  He will come forth from his mighty palace and say a few kind words to us “bitter clingers and Bible thumpers”.  He will pronounce the problems solved, pose for a few photographs, then jump back into his limousine or helicopter. In the meantime, all those who have been actually doing something trip over the media and Secret Service circus clowns.  We don’t need the federal government to “help”.  We don’t come with hat in hand begging for benevolence from government and We the People don’t want government here.

We don’t need Barack Obama and his henchmen in Oklahoma and we don’t want him here.  Gov. Mary Fallin should immediately stand up and tell him to stay where he is.  We have enough to do without him adding to the mess.

Barry, instead of coming to Oklahoma for a photo-op, spend your time telling the mental midgets who you call fellow Democrats that us “bitter clingers” don’t need them; and don’t want them, you, or the money you so freely promise to borrow on our behalf.  We Oklahomans will cling to our God and our guns, not the “benevolence” of government bureaucrats and their red tape.  We will take care of each other and provide for the needs of those displaced by the tornado.  Keep your pathetic posturing in Washington, D C (De Cesspool) where it is appreciated because it won’t be appreciated in Oklahoma.  We don’t need, and we don’t want, your phony sympathy or your cheap promises.

New York City has a storied history of resilience and prosperity in the face of any variety of attack. The great city’s current mayor, though, continues to do his level best to destroy it from high atop his socialist perch.
Undeterred by the resounding defeat of his ban on sugary drinks, Michael Bloomberg set his sights on the metropolitan taxi cab industry.
His “Taxi of Tomorrow” proposal was similarly rejected when the State Supreme Court ruled it violated existing city ordinances.
If his revamp of the city’s transit system had been approved, all the city’s taxi cabs would have been replaced with Nissan vans sporting transparent roofs and less annoying – and likely less effective – horns.
Though his overreach was misguided, we have come to expect no less from Bloomberg. The real outrage came from a report by Gene Friedman, who as of 2010 owned more than 5 percent of the city’s taxis, or around 700 altogether.
Recounting a recent meeting with the mayor, Friedman alleged Bloomberg offered a candid and profane admission of his true intent.
“He turns to me and said, ‘Come January 1st, when I am out of office, I am going to destroy your [expletive deleted] industry,’” Friedman recalled. Reports indicate at least one other bystander share a similar account of the conversation.
Many on the right recognized his goal is to destroy elements of our society he feels should be rebuilt by big government. In that regard, he is not unlike any number of his far left cohorts.
It is unusual, however, to see a big government elitist tell the truth about their intentions.

Their method is to surreptitiously use cultural Marxism, critical theory and political correctness in combination with gradual inevitability to create divided, hyphenated special interest victim groups. Once those groups have been created, the next step is to inflame those groups with hate-filled red herring and straw-man hyperbole in hopes that the under-educated, under-informed and/or fully indoctrinated members of those hyphenated special interest victim groups will vote against Conservative Americans who have been targeted for character assassination.

All aggressively committed against Tea Party Patriot groups, religious groups, assorted members of the news media, private donors to Conservative political campaigns and others perceived by members of the White House and their political/philosophical brethren as enemies of the “progressive” agenda.

Additionally, four Americans were left to die in Benghazi because the Obama administration neglected to respond appropriately to terrorist threat warnings from their own people prior to the Commander in Chief being absent without leave during a seven hour battle. Apparently it was more important for Obama to get his beauty rest before flying the next day to a fund raising event in Las Vegas where he could once again reassure his deep pocketed “progressive” allies that the treat from Islam was finished because Seal Team 6 killed Osama bin Laden.

Never mind that Islam has been a threat to Western Civilization since the seventh century AD and continues to be a threat to every country, culture or faith that refuses to conform to their doctrine.

Not only were reprehensible actions willfully taken by Obama, as well as card carrying members of the “progressive” movement within his administration; orchestrated cover ups, stonewalling of issues, denial of facts and revolving, shifting and changing stories have been employed in continued attempts to derail ongoing investigations.

The true goal “progressives” hope to attain is their long lusted after dream of unopposed, perpetual control over the American population.

“Evidence?” one may ask?

Try Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Welfare, Food Stamps and Obamacare.

If unopposed, perpetual control over America is not the “progressive” goal, why the rush by “progressives” to grant amnesty to predominantly under-educated and under-informed illegal aliens who are thereby ideal for recruitment into a “progressive” hyphenated special interest victim group? Why are illegal aliens freely allowed access to America’s big government “progressive” “entitlement” programs like Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Welfare, Food Stamps and Obamacare, despite their unlawful status if the desired end result is not to incorporate them into the “progressive” political agenda?

Using a combination of the Fabian Socialist strategy of gradual inevitability and Frankfurt School tactics of cultural Marxism, critical theory and political correctness, today’s “progressives” softly whisper sweet little lies that sound oh so good into the ears of their low income, low information “progressive” hyphenated special interest victim group voter base, hoping they will continue to fall for sugar coated “progressive” rubbish.

All in the hopes of successfully imposing a European socio-economic class structure upon America…while casting themselves (of course) in the role of the superior upper-class ruling elite.

Can you say the Soviet Politburo?

The end results of adhering to “progressive” philosophy and employing “progressive” policies will be an end to America’s centuries old traditions of individual liberty and the right to own private property. American Citizens will experience dramatically increased costs of living, measurably lowered living standards and ultimately, national bankruptcy and an end to national sovereignty.

Instead of being the land of the free and the home of the brave, America will be at the mercy of a self-imagined, self-appointed oligarchy of supposed intellectual superiors who achieved their position of perpetual power through the most egregious display of selfishness and ruthlessness in American history. In the name of social or economic “justice” “progressives” will dismantle the Constitution and reverse the gains made by individuals and society that came about as a result of the American Revolution.

History will show that once they persuaded enough unsuspecting Americans to trust them, progressives” seized private assets and outlawed private property. It will be because when “progressives” looked into network television cameras and lied about having the best interests of America at heart, too many Americans bought it. It will be because when “progressives” took an oath to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States, swearing on the Bible and imploring “So help me, God,” too many Americans believed they actually meant it.

Future generations reading the story of American history will be left to ponder: How could Americans have been so wrong, so mistaken and made such poor choices? Why would America abandon a highly successful blueprint for society, economy and governance after centuries of their own history demonstrated the success of that structure? How could Americans have been so stupid as to believe that the model and methods responsible for their success had suddenly become what was wrong with America?

It has taken a century for the “progressive” use of Fabian strategy and Frankfurt tactics to bring America to this point; a tipping point.

The damage will not be repaired overnight. It will take longer than one, two or three election cycles to return America to its original, correct course. Americans demanding immediate gratification will long suffer unbearable periods of dissatisfaction.

Is that insidious “progressive” smile one of approval for the acts of God fearing, freedom loving Americans? Do not be deceived, it is a trap. Do not be betrayed by their words. Instead, ask how their glorious words agree with acts committed by the Internal Revenue Service, the Environmental Protection Agency, the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms, the Department of Justice and the Department of Homeland Security. Are such actions necessary in a land where government derives its just powers from the consent of the governed? Do not be fooled. These are acts which will lead to subjugation and slavery. These are the acts to which tyrants resort. Why were these actions taken, if not to force Americans into submission? Can intellectually honest people assign any other possible motives to them?

If Americans hope to save themselves from the chains of “progressivism,” they must be willing to fight. Will they live in liberty, or will America die?

After he admitted his stunning ignorance of a document he’s supposed to be upholding and so should be at least passingly familiar with, he compounded his stupefying lack of knowledge by admitting he didn’t know what the “TEA” in “TEA Party” stands for. Bentivolio informed him it’s “Taxed Enough Already”, but after the revelations of the last couple weeks, we could just as easily call it “Targeted Enough Already”.

If this, the most corrupt administration in the history of the United States, has taught us anything, it’s that we don’t need to know what’s in a bill in order to pass it and we don’t need to know what the acronym of a conservative organization stands for in order to target it with intimidation and discrimination.

Shameful.

Sources are saying that the full Senate will soon take up the full amnesty bill, which the Gang of Eight plans to ram through the Senate Judiciary Committee by stealth, while most Americans are occupied with the multiple scandals hitting the Obama administration.

This dangerous bill will kill the GOP as a national party forever if it is passed, for it will legalize 20 million Third World immigrants who will register as Democrats, and import additional millions of Third World potential Democrat voters at a rate of more than 1 million annually.

Here, I will explain the bill’s most dangerous provisions and its consequences.

The bill’s provisions

This massive Obamacare-style “we have to pass it to find out what’s in it” bill has many provisions. I’ll summarize the most important ones.

• All illegal aliens who arrived in the US no later than January 2012 will be eligible for amnesty – i.e. receiving Green Cards (legal immigrant status) and, 3-5 years down the road, US citizenship and thus the right to vote (though you can bet ACORN will register them for voting well before that).
• As such, they’ll be eligible for the full cornucopia of federal benefits, even before naturalization. No one will be able to deny them these, because that would (ostensibly) violate the principle of equality before law and die in the courts. The Heritage Foundation has calculated this will cost the Federal Government $6.3 trillion over the next decade – at a time when the US is already in debt to the tune of $16 trillion.
• As Green Card holders, and later, US citizens, they’ll be eligible to bring in their relatives – not just spouses and children, but also parents, siblings, etc. – into the US without any limits, through “chain immigration” – unskilled immigrants bringing other unskilled immigrants into the US based on family relations. The amnesty bill would abolish ALL limits on chain immigration and would make NO attempt to condition the issuance of Green Cards on skills, work experience, and academic qualifications.
• The Visa Waiver Program would be expanded, allowing even more people to come to the US without bothering to obtain a visa – whether to work illegally or to perpetrate terrorist attacks.

The political consequences

But most importantly, this bill, if passed, will make the Democrats a permanent, unbeatable majority party by creating millions of new Democratic voters and importing further millions every year. The GOP will become a permanent minority. As Ann Coulter says, the two major parties will be the Nancy Pelosi Democratic Party and the Chuck Schumer Democratic Party.

Say there are only 12 mn illegal immigrants in America eligible for amnesty right now. Let’s assume they’re legalized and that Republicans achieve George W. Bush levels of the Hispanic vote (44%). That still gives the Democrats a net gain of 1.6 million new voters – 6.72 mn new supporters vs 5.28 mn.

Easy to see why the Democrats are for this. But why would a Republican Party that is not suicidally-minded support this?

If amnesty is passed, you can kiss the House, the Senate, the Presidency, and many governorships and state legislatures goodbye, forever. Republicans will never again be able to win any national election again. The Democrats will gain at least 1.6 mn new voters on net and will thus have permanent majorities in Arizona, Texas, Florida, Virginia, Colorado, New Mexico, and Nevada.

When Texas goes, America goes.

Consider: while 18 states that have a combined 242 Electoral College votes have voted Democratic in the last consecutive six presidential elections, cobbling together an EC majority has been increasingly difficult for Republicans. Republicans last did it in 2004, and completely failed to do so in 4 of the last 6 elections.

Why? Because California, overwhelmed by immigrants (legal and illegal), is now stridently liberal. New Mexico is now also out of reach for the GOP. Colorado, Nevada, Virginia, and Florida (all states with large and growing Hispanic populations) are increasingly problematic for Republicans. Only Texas and Arizona remain secure – for now.

As Pat Buchanan likes to say: when Texas goes, America goes.

If amnesty becomes law, there goes Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, Florida, Virginia, and Texas, and there goes the presidency, forever.

The “natural conservatives” canard

In response, we always hear “But don’t worry, Hispanics are natural conservatives. They are devout Catholics, devout social conservatives, work hard, and want to achieve the American dream.”

This canard is utterly false. This description is true only of a minority of Hispanics – those whom conservatives usually meet. But the vast majority of Hispanics don’t fit that description at all.

As a demographic group, Hispanics are less likely than any other (other than Jews) to attend church or support conservative policies, more likely to support liberal ones, and more likely than any other group (other than blacks) to vote Democratic, achieve poor school grades, drop out of high school, commit crimes, end up in prison, have children out of wedlock, be pregnant during teenagehood (girls), be raised by single parents, and be dependent on welfare and other government programs.

This is the antithesis of a natural conservative.

The canard about Hispanics being “natural conservatives” is even more idiotic than the one about blacks being “natural conservatives”. At least blacks really are social conservatives – they simply vote Democratic anyway, ignoring the fact that the Democrats support abortion on demand (read: the Holocaust of black children[1]) and gay marriage.

And as Ann Coulter points out, last year, Hispanics were almost alone in increasing the share of their vote going to Obama from 2008 to 2012. Only they and Asians voted for Obama in greater numbers in 2012 than in 2008. (The black vote for Obama remained, alas, unchanged at over 90%.)

Every other demographic group: whites, men, women, youngsters, Evangelicals, Catholics, Jews – gave a larger share of their vote to the Republican nominee in 2012 than in 2008. In fact, if the election were to be decided only by whites, or if the electorate had been as white in 2012 as it was in 1980, Romney would’ve trashed Obama by a landslide.

Profiles in Welfare

And what does a typical Hispanic (or black) voter look like? Pat Buchanan gives us the answer.

He or she is raised by a single mother. He/she, like his single mom, is completely dependent on the federal government and its cornucopia of social programs for survival.[2]

His/her education is paid for, K-12, by the federal and state governments. For college, he can apply for federal student loans and other federal programs. For food, mom has foodstamps, and children get 2-3 federally-subsidized meals at school every day.

If mom works, she has no tax liability thanks to a high no-tax treshold and the Earned Income Tax Credit. If she doesn’t work, she gets welfare benefits, including 99 weeks of unemployment compensation.

For healthcare, there’s Medicaid and Obamacare.

And that’s the majority of Hispanic families. Why would these people vote for a party that pledges to cut taxes they don’t pay and promises to cut the government programs they benefit from? Wouldn’t logic dictate voting for a party that promises to let them keep this entire cornucopia of federal benefits and even to expand them?

The problem is all immigration – not just illegal immigration

We’re also being constantly told another cretinous canard: that legal immigration is fine, it’s just illegal immigration that’s problematic.

But this is also utterly false. Legal immigration is also a huge drain on the Treasury and a huge political threat to the GOP. The problem is not just illegal immigration; the problem is immigration, period.

Since 1965, a million newcomers have immigrated to America every year on average, the vast majority of them from dysfunctional, socialist Third World countries like Mexico.

It is thanks to THESE immigrants that California and New Mexico are now out of reach and why CO, NV, FL, and VA are increasingly problematic for the GOP. It is thanks to THESE legal immigrants that Obama was elected and reelected. If they hadn’t been present in the US, Obama would’ve never been elected, let alone reelected after a disastrous first term.

Therefore, not only should Republicans stop amnesty dead in its tracks, they must also severely restrict legal immigration when they retake the White House and the Senate. This must include eliminating chain immigration, a 10-year moratorium on legal immigration, and then, allowing only highly-educated, English-speaking immigrants who will be able to find a job and will not become a drain on taxpayers.

Statistics from the Center for Immigration Studies prove that when legal immigration grows, illegal immigration grows with it; and when the rate of legal immigration is reduced, illegal immigration declines concurrently.

Remember: the problem is not just “illegal immigration”, the problem is immigration, period.

A matter of life and death

As Ann Coulter points out, massive immigration – both legal and illegal – has turned California into such a liberal state that no Republican can win statewide in California anymore. Not so long ago, this state gave America great Republican Senators and Governors such as Richard Nixon, S. I. Hayakawa, Ronald Reagan, and Pete Wilson.

New Mexico has now gone the same way. The GOP nowadays can’t even win presidential elections in CO, NV, FL, or VA. Only Arizona and Texas remain secure – for now.

And as Pat Buchanan says, when Texas goes, America goes.

We conservatives must not allow that to happen. Amnesty must be stopped dead in its tracks, and legal immigration must be severely restricted.

This is literally a matter of life and death, for the GOP, the conservative movement, and the Country.

In the aftermath of both the Fast and Furious and Associated Press scandals, Eric Holder’s Justice Department is afforded little credibility in performing its prescribed duties.
Still, it appears the department tasked with upholding constitutional law reached the height of hypocrisy by issuing guidelines to employees that blatantly abridge their First Amendment rights.
The document, which concerns gay and lesbian “inclusion” in the workplace, goes much further than merely protecting employees from discrimination.
Language drafted by the DOJ clearly coerces staff members at all levels to openly support a lifestyle they might find morally objectionable.
While Christians and others with traditional values have long been told, explicitly or implicitly, to remain silent on the issue of alternative sexuality – effectively excluding one group in favor of another.
That constituted an injustice in and of itself; but, the internal guidelines issued by the DOJ is forcing employees to affirmatively support the lifestyle.
“Silence will be interpreted as disapproval,” the document warns.
The liberty-crusing guidelines do not require much commentary, as anyone who values free speech should be appalled by the list of accepted behavior contained therein.
Staff members are expected to place a “DOJ Pride” sticker or some other pro-gay paraphernalia in their offices “indicating that it is a ‘safe space’” while “gender-specific terms like ‘husband’ and ‘wife’” are unacceptable.
Workplaces should be concerned with providing equal opportunity to employees and openly catering to a politically favorable group does exactly the opposite. No employer – least of all the Justice Department! – should be allowed to unilaterally impose one viewpoint onto an entire staff. That is exactly what the department has implemented, though, as it goes much further than merely protecting the civil rights of gays.
The guidelines seek to silence dissent by advising employees to “assume that LGBT employees and their allies are listening” and painting a target on those with traditional values.
DOJ staff is expected to “deal with offensive jokes and comments forcefully and swiftly” according to the document, though it has become apparent the meaning of the word “offensive” has become extraordinarily fluid.
Through shrewd and effective marketing of their own sexuality, a small minority of the population has largely silenced those with a different worldview. The DOJ is taking that disturbing trend to another level by making such silence an employment prerequisite.

May 20, 2013 tornado that struck Moore, Oklahoma

For the second day in a row, Central Oklahoma was hit with severe weather and deadly tornadoes. Moore, Oklahoma is no stranger to the danger of tornadoes. On May 3, 1999, the city of Moore, which is just South of Oklahoma City, was devastated by an EF5 tornado that killed 46 people. The tornado today, which followed a strikingly similar path, has already been estimated at least an EF4, and reportedly already has a higher death toll. It may be days before we have an official number of fatalities.

As rescue efforts continue, and families wait to be reunited, the residents of Oklahoma City and surrounding areas have rallied to provide for the victims of this devastating storm. Several area locations have set up donation centers, and the response from the community has been overwhelming. Local news channel 9 ( KWTV) set up a donation center a their station and, at the time of this writing, volunteers were still unloading donated water, shovels, nonperishable food, clothing and more from the generous residents in their viewing area.

Well, it is an extension of the ‘Peter Principle.’ Under the PP theory a person is promoted to their highest level of incompetence where not being able to advance to a next promotion due to lack of ability they will remain in place until quit, fired, retire.

Now, for the government I came up with ‘The Bureaucrat-Functionary Principle.’ It is simply that no one will ever get fired and no matter the blatant lack of ability, skill, ethics or number of performance failures that they will continue to receive promotions, bonuses, backing of peers and awards until they retire rich and living off a taxpayer funded pension until the day they die.

The implication is that the Obama administration is apparently considering the possibility of leveling charges against journalists in general, in it’s relentless search for “leaks”. However, in spite of the recent information that has come out about investigations into the actions of Associated Press journalists, these may be partisan investigations. It has already been stated that the information that Rosen acquired from Kim wasn’t particularly sensitive:

John Bolton, the former undersecretary of state for disarmament, and a noted hard-liner on all matters North Korea, said the disclosures in the Rosen story about North Korean intentions were “neither particularly sensitive nor all that surprising.” It involved the kind of information that could have been gleaned from reading stories in the South Korean press at the time, he noted.

That point is made in contrast with the sensitive and theoretically “classified” information that made its way into Bob Woodward’s book, “Obama’s Wars.”

The Fox News response to the government tracking Rosen’s emails and movements was as follows:

“We are outraged to learn today that James Rosen was named a criminal co-conspirator for simply doing his job as a reporter,” Fox News executive vice president Michael Clemente said in a statement. ”In fact, it is downright chilling. We will unequivocally defend his right to operate as a member of what up until now has always been a free press.”

Also, for bloggers, and anyone else interested in information to prevent attracting this sort of attention from the government, Fox News has offered a page of advice.

This initiative might just be the biggest waste of taxpayer money the government has ever been engaged in. States have spent billions of dollars over the years determining what standards and tests work best for their students, only to now have to spend billions more to replace those systems with a government-mandated, nationwide curriculum.

One concerned parent (@suzibasterd) drafted this letter to her local Tennessee newspaper, expressing her thoughts on Common Core. She shared the letter (which has yet to be published) on Facebook.

If you have not done so already, take a peek at the standards. The English Language Arts Standards claim this:

The Common Core State Standards for English Language Arts & Literacy in History/Social Studies, Science, and Technical Subjects (“the Standards”) are the culmination of an extended, broad-based effort to fulfill the charge issued by the states to create the next generation of K–12 standards in order to help ensure that all students are college and career ready in literacy no later than the end of high school.

But even this statement implies that the federal government sees itself as answer to all challenges facing individual states. Even worse, it implies that only Father Government knows what is best for our children.
