Gwen Ifill of the PBS Newshour hosted Jonathan Martin of Politico and Molly Ball of The Atlantic magazine in a left wing cuddlefest that bashed Romney over Bain, his taxes, and Solyndra on July 16. Ms. Ifill was not the least concerned that this story is mere fodder for the Obama campaign to pivot away from its abysmal economic record, but nevertheless, started off the shooting gallery by asking Jonathan Martin to “help us explain this Bain back-and-forth.”

“At the end of this weekend, was there any more clarity about when he left and if he left Bain?” Ifill asked:

JONATHAN MARTIN, Politico: Well, no.

And I think that is part of the reason why there’s still questions out there about what exactly his status was at that company. Now, look, the Romney campaign wants to say this is purely a matter of President Obama’s desperation, his attempt to divert attention from the economy. But in politics, when you’re defending, when you’re explaining, you’re losing.

And for the last week, he has been doing just that. And it is a remarkable turnabout. Consider this. A week ago, we were talking about the second straight month of dismal job numbers. A week later, we’re talking about Bain and income tax returns. So the Obama campaign has had a nice run here keeping Romney on his back foot.

Next, Ifill decided to ask Ball, “what are the Democrats trying to do with this kind of multi-pronged attack on who Mitt Romney is and how much he earns, how much wealth he has?”

Way to segue into the class warfare narrative. Alas, it arrived to that juncture when the discussion about the taxes returns became the focus of attention with Ball stating “when Romney did put out a year of his tax returns before, there was a lot of stuff in there that was damaging. There was the Swiss bank account. You know, there was the tax shelters in Bermuda, the Cayman Islands. And so — and that information was damaging to Romney.”

Last time I checked, Swiss bank accounts were not responsible for killing jobs or depressing economic recovery.

Ifill then had the temerity to ask “why isn’t the cronyism charge, why isn’t Obama-Solyndra the same as Romney’s Bain? Why doesn’t that seem to stick in the same way?”

Martin decided to answer this question by comparing Romney to fictional character Gordon Gekko saying

Oh, I think because the question about Romney and what he did and how he made his money is slightly more exotic. It’s easier to sort of portray Romney as the sort of Gordon Gekko because of what he did, whereas I think on the Obama question about Solyndra, there are certainly clear-cut questions there that remain for the president that could ultimately be damaging. But I don’t think it cuts the same way to the average voter, who just sort of sees, well, politicians giving contracts, it just isn’t quite as vivid as Cayman Islands, Swiss bank account for Romney.

Is that why Congress is trying to remedy the Solyndra problem up on The Hill? However, Ifill stated on her show that “the cronyism argument.. seems to be an unusual pushback.” Molly Ball reiterated the press conference Romney had in front of Solyndra last May, but “the problem is, it is a pretty transparent attempt to change the subject.” Yes, crony capitalism is certainly not comparable, a concern, or doesn’t “cut” the same way as having an account in the Cayman Islands. The problem is the latter isn’t considered felonious activity.

I recently read an article on Addicting Info. A highly Liberal blog with weak talking points. Nevertheless, I realized that the sheep, I mean readers who follow them, believe the indoctrinated falsity upon which they preach. The article in which I am speaking about, is one which compared Conservatism, to Fascism, essentially referring to them as one in the same. In the article, the first thing I can see, is the photo shopped cross put into piece’s featured image. The image itself, is one of Sarah Palin, smiling, wrapped up in an American Flag, holding a cross in her hand. Obviously, in the original image, she does not hold a cross in her hand.

However, when Liberals argue that Conservatism & Fascism are the same ideology, they often used a quote by Sinclair Lewis, in which Lewis says: ”When Fascism comes to America, it will be wrapped in the flag and carrying a cross.”

So, to fuel the Liberal Stereotype of all Conservatives wear crosses around their necks and wave American Flags every chance they get, and profile everyone else who doesn’t as unpatriotic, it would need to be necessary for them to edit an original image, even to prove their own agenda. Ethics are silly things away, who could forget MSNBC’s recent gaffe? This week, I would like to debunk this theory, one day at a time. One article a day. This isn’t a hard myth to debunk. So, let’s start with the first three that come off of Addicting Info’s list, shall we?

1. You are obsessed with national power and pride and believe your country doesn’t have to follow the rules and shouldn’t ever apologize for doing things that are wrong. You think your nation can do whatever it wants.

By all means, I’m pretty sure Conservatives don’t believe that never apologizing for something is a bad thing. We believe that we should not apologize for our foreign policy, that it is a sign of weakness. And launching a tour who’s main purpose is to apologize is a sign of submission to other countries, and not a sign of strength or leadership. By all means, our country should follow international rules, just like any other country.

2. You believe in the rule of the few, election rigging, political decisions being made by a select group of officials behind closed doors, embrace the informal and unregulated exercise of political power, arbitrary deprivation of civil liberties, and little tolerance for meaningful opposition.

Holy crap. This is like reading recent news of The Obama Administration. Remember when the healthcare overhaul was all done behind close doors? I do. Remember the election fraud of Acorn? As for group of select few making the decisions for many, what about George Soros, pulling the strings behind President Obama? Or Harry Reid & Pelosi? Remember how everything functioned around them when they held the ‘super majority?’ Or what about when President Obama released the executive order banning protest? (See H.R. 347) Also, unregulated exercise of political power? Let’s look back to the ‘Dream Act’ shall we? That was where the President just ‘went around’ Congress.

Don’t even get me started on ‘tittle tolerance for meaningful opposition.’

3. You believe in survival of the fittest, an every man for himself mentality that causes you to believe that poor people and sick people are weak and must be punished. You think rich people are strong because they are wealthy and that they should rule us. You also believe your race is superior to all others.

Race superior to all others, huh? Only Liberals can turn any, and I do mean, any argument into a race issue. Poor people and sick people shouldn’t be punished just because they are poor and sick, and anyone would have lots of trouble trying to find a conservative who actually believes that crap. Answer to your problems? Capitalism, my friends. Free enterprise is the only thing to bring up the poor into the middle class. Also, if we believe Rich People rule, then tell me about George Soros again, I doubt he rules at all. As far as sick people go, I don’t believe they should be punished because they are sick. I believe they should be treated. And forcing them to buy healthcare is not an answer.

I’ll be doing 4 of these a day until I reach number 18. All from the original addictinginfo.com piece. Stay tuned, and feel free to tweet any suggestions to me! @Tanner_WB

It’s almost July and the president hasn’t yet announced his family’s vacation plans yet. So of course Washington Post columnist Al Kamen felt obliged to direct his readers to kindly offer suggestions for vacation spots for the laid-back commander-in-chief.

“[I]t’s time to do your civic duty by suggesting where the first family should vacation this year. Deadline for submissions is Friday, June 29,” Kamen told his “In the Loop” readers in today’s paper. “Our five favorite entries will win coveted Loop T-shirts — perfect for wearing on your own summer vacation.” Or for the 8.2 percent who are without work, on the unemployment line.

This isn’t the first time Kamen conducted an Obama-boosting exercise in crowd-sourcing. Back in October of 2011, Kamen pitched another great idea for voters to submit their phrase that would encapsulate the Obama administration in the history books. Think Reagan’s “Mr. Gorbachev Tear Down This Wall” or Kennedy’s “Ask Not” as prime examples, Kamen exhorted.

While the country faces enormous challenges, we are encouraged by members of the dead tree liberal media to dither and daydream about where to send the first family. I’m sure all the Obama zombies will be fast and furious in delivering their suggestion concerning the pressing issue of the first family’s next vacation on the taxpayer’s dime. I think the hometown of Brian Terry would be an appropriate destination.

Nothing like a flawed correlation to give liberals the meat they need to boast the benefits of higher taxation

A New York Post op-ed post byJuliet Lapidos uses an Institute of Taxation and Economic Policy Report to create the false correlation of income tax to economic output.

An ITEP report demonstrates that states with no personal income tax don’t have a higher per-capita economic output than those states with personal income tax.

The Post’s article is just wrong. Ms. Lapidos, in an attempt to create red meat for the paper’s liberal readership, re-interprets the ITEP report to refute supply-side economics. The study and Ms. Lapidos artistic attempt at logic do not disprove that economic theory.

Supply-side economics don’t work, but that won’t stop the Mary Fallins of the world from foisting it upon us. They care too much about their ideology to worry about reality.

Instead, the report simply shows that personal income tax rates may not have a significant impact on the economic output of a given state. By looking at only one aspect of state-level economies, the author misses the other factors in-play.

States with no income taxes have other means by which produce income. Higher sales taxes and revenue from state-located businesses are examples. One way or another, the same burden is placed on the consumer as businesses will simply pass taxes on to consumers. In the end, states take in what they need to fund the spending in their budgets.

Supply-side economics isn’t about personal income taxes alone. It is about the burden on those with capital to invest. If income taxes are lower, but sales taxes are an equivalent amount higher then the burden on the taxpayer is the same and therefor the impact to investment is the same. Of course the report and the flawed analysis of it also disregard the economic make-up of each state. States with more rural areas or a more thrifty populace will necessarily demonstrate a lower per-capita economic output. But who’s to say that’s bad for the individuals that chose to keep their cars for ten years instead of three?

There are far too many neglected economic aspects for the study to prove or disprove supply or demand side economics. To do so would require a much more in-depth look at the macro-economy of each state – a task I imagine the author to be unwilling to take on.

The article simply shows ignorance about supply-side economics – not that they don’t work.

The Daily Kos and it’s sheeplings are at it again. They are trying to get Gov. Scott Walker removed from office in a recall election because he removed public unions ability to fleece the taxpayers by raiding the treasury as Democrats give them lucrative contracts in return for election year favors. Gov. Walker protected his State’s taxpayers by saying that they can no longer get gifts from the State Congress. They can no longer hold the State taxpayer hostage. They will have to negotiate just like everyone else – and it has absolutely sent the liberals off the deep end. “Out in left field” is our page to share with you what the left is doing and how you can help fight back. Notice that in the email sent from the Daily Kos, the end it with “Thank you for uniting us as a progressive” .. umm, I know there aren’t many of them, but sure thought there were more than one. First: the bad stuff…

What the Extreme Left is doing:

Last night in Wisconsin, Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett won the Democratic nomination to take on Governor Scott Walker in the June 5 recall. Now our opportunity to defeat the Walker-Koch agenda is in sight.
Please contribute $5 to help Tom Barrett defeat Scott Walker.
Mayor Barrett is a strong standard-bearer for progressives in the recall. While representing Wisconsin in Congress, Mayor Barrett stood with me in voting against the deregulation that led to the Wall Street crash, opposing the PATRIOT Act, and reforming our system of campaign finance. His executive experience makes him qualified to begin rolling back Walker’s devastating program on day one.
Scott Walker relies on corporate bosses from coast to coast who have armed him with tens of millions of dollars. But if grassroots progressives unite around Tom Barrett, we can put an end to Walker’s harmful policies and slam the brakes on the national corporate agenda.
Please contribute $5 to Tom Barrett and unite to defeat Scott Walker.
Thank you for uniting as a progressive, Russ Feingold

Now the good stuff:

What the Rest of America needs to do:

Support Scott Walker by going to rallies, giving money or time: http://americansforprosperity.org/walker/

Fighting For The Innocent
Mr. Terry is a pro-life activist. He founded Operation Rescue, whose mission statement is: Dedicated to ending abortion in America. He believes that abortion is murder and should be made a capital crime.

In 2003, Randall Terry founded the Society for Truth and Justice. That same year, he also conducted a program called Operation Witness.

He has led the largest civil disobedience movement in American history, with over 70,000 arrests in the “rescue movement.”

On The Campaign
Mr Terry says:

“This campaign is about human rights, ladies and gentlemen. It will be first and foremost about the human rights of babies that are brutally slaughtered and thrown in dumpsters and landfills. But it is also about the human rights of the slave labor force on Obama’s plantation.”
