How to Critically Think About Jade Helm 2015

Jade Helm is a military exercise intended to give America’s special forces some training in realistic, non-military environments. The “laser-like” focus on these exercises is likely keeping Americans from paying attention to more important events.

amercian-soldiers-e1268329274372What is easy to understand is that our troops would NEVER turn on Americans – because they ARE Americans. They would suffer many things rather than intern, capture or detain fellow Americans. If whomever were to attempt a coup, it would be stopped by the soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines of the United States military. *Salute*

The real threat comes from a national, heavily-militarized police force. Our boys in camo are the only realistic defense against heavy-handed national police actions. Perhaps that’s why everyone is seeking to put our military under suspicion – to make sure Americans are suspicious of our armed forces which would leave them with no effective manner in which to deal with national police helicopter gunships and armored vehicles.

The national police are not your local men and women in blue – the nationals are better funded, better armed and more loyal to the bureaucracies that pay them – the ATF, FBI, IRS, BLM, etc…

The angst against our military is unwarranted, sad and wrong. Whether you are worried about the training exercise or not, our military members would desert/mutiny rather than follow an order from Obama to attack the citizenry – have more pride in our service members than the liberals who spit on them.

Texas is the state the Jade Helm planners chose as a major action point. Not only that, but they even focused on the home of the Texas A&M Aggies. Texas A&M is just a hair under Annapolis or West Point if you’re looking to go career military.

Jade Helm is not the issue, but it might be the diversion.

Consider the rise in civil disturbances, union riots and worker walk-outs. Question the economic news being revised constantly by the powers-that-be.

Question the speed at which Al Sharpton showed up to quiet and handle the troubled Baltimore mayor.

Ask yourself why people who were protesting in Baltimore needed to be paid, who they were paid by and even worse, why they argued over how much they should get (see: #cutthecheck)

Apply critical thinking to the FIVE wal-marts that closed down on the same day for “plumbing issues.” None of them seem to be being repaired and wal-mart has been  elusive when questioned.

Americans should question Obama’s executive order to DE-militarize the police. The action isn’t wrong, but the motive is odd and/or condusing.

Critical thinking is important.

Critical thinking keys – no answers, but readers should consider these questions to discern truth:

  1. Who has something to gain by Americans questioning their military members?
  2. Why would Wal-mart suddenly, without notice, close 5 stores in 4 states and blame them all on something easy to fix like “plumbing” – again, who has something to gain?
  3. Why are Wal-mart stores being fortified with CONEX (shipping container) boxes?
  4. Why is the government shoving Jade Helm in your face?

And a final thought: When the government makes a thing obvious, look elsewhere “All warfare is based on deception.” – Sun Tzu

Washington Post publishes hypocritical and unfounded attack on self-defense laws

The liberal-biased news outlet The Washington Post published an article titled “Stand your ground laws coincide with jump in  justifiable homicide cases” despite their own admission that no studies prove a correlation.

It’s a case of being literally correct in the title with the intent of getting the reader to believe a thing even though the writer expressly says there is no proof. Take the title, verbatim, then apply this paragraph later in the same article:

Prosecutors still reject many claims of self-defense under the new law, and no long-term studies definitively tie the rise in justifiable killings to the passage of laws that relieve citizens of the responsibility to back away from threats.

The headline is intended to plant the seed of blame on laws that empower the innocent against would-be assailants knowing that most that agree will never make it to the fifth paragraph in an article where they already agree with the premise.

WaPo doesn’t quit there. Quoting anonymous sources that feel that the self-defense laws would create an legal climate where “defendants would simply claim self-defense and challenge prosecutors to prove they were lying.” What the writer apparently  missed was that our legal system is based on the idea that you are innocent until proven guilty – not the other way around.

The Washington Post has an agenda – a very liberal and government-empowering one. This is just one more example of how they use the power of words and fuzzy truth – a.k.a. truthiness – to sell an invalid viewpoint to a naive populace.

When they publish this stuff – someone has to give ’em hell.

CPUSA–> Obama’s Jobs Bill–> OccupyWallStreet

Communism, Socialism, OccupyWallStreet, and Barack Obama’s Jobs Bill all nestled together under one all-telling blanket.

While the following excerpts may sound familiar to some, the underlying repercussions that come with them may very well  surprise most of our readers:

“A better and peaceful world is possible- a world where people and nature come before profits.”  That may sound rosy enough at the outset,  until we see what directly follows that statement:

“That’s Socialism. That’s our vision. We are The Communist Party USA. That statement is brought to you by the CPUSA’s current homepage. When indoctrinating America’s youth, Communists always start out with championing Socialism. The Socialist Workers Party was/is just another stealth front group for Communist indoctrination through the use of  the term “workers” also. The infamous National Socialist  German Workers Party was widely known as the NAZI Party, which hid behind  title, The German Workers Party prior to a name change in 1920. The term NAZI is German and stems from Nationalsozialist.  That little history lesson, while many folks may view it as irrevelant towards today’s American Politics, should never be forgotten, as history truly does have a way of repeating itself over and over. What is also troubling is the fact that we even have a Communist party in America today.

Now for some more tidbits from the CPUSA homepage we see the following link to an article from People’s World  titled: America’s kids tell their stories from their Wall Street Camp.

While the article goes on to tell stories of the cute “kids” at the protests, it also carries a very heavy undercurrent of anti-capitalistic indoctrination in it. Take this paragraph for instance:

Esmeralda, Youth Council President of the Mid Manhattan NAACP, and two friends are camping out together. Esmeralda, 17, says she’s had “lots of internships, but never a real job.” Her high school is just across the street from Zuccotti Park and she’s been joining her friends Chilligan, 19, and Nicole, 20 at the park every day after class.

Maybe a little less time spent as a 17-yr old Youth President of the NAACP and a little more time applying herself at school would lead to a decent job and/or qualify her for college one day in the future. 17 years old and already an anti-capitalist community organizer complaining she doesn’t have  a job. What she really means that everyone has the right to a $20.00 an hour job, regardless of employment as seen here. This is what we see more and more of every day in America, thanks to the indoctrination of our youth in the classrooms. They get out into the real world only to discover that they do not have a basic set of skills to actually put towards working for a living. we see this pattern in virtually all of the “stories about the kids at Wall Street Camp” in that article. Socialists are experts at playing the victim card while actually creating more victims by indoctrinating them into hating capitalism and worshiping the nanny state. That’s Socialism.

Also found on today’s CPUSA homepage is also this unmitigated lie being told to the uninformed masses of American youth: “Socialism will meet the needs of the great majority of our people and lay the basis for solving our social, economic and environmental problems.”  Did you catch that statement, all you kids at the Wall Street camps?  Put on your Mao and Che shirts, denounce capitalism, become a Socialist puppet, and you are well on your way to the Communist Utopia where poof!, all our problems will auto-magically disappear! What the Communist propagandists fail to tell you is that Communism leads to bread lines and wide-spread poverty 100% of the time. ( Unless you are enslaved to the government dictatorship that feeds and clothes you in exchange for serving  the state, in which case they shall deem you important enough to keep alive until you outlive your usefulness, or just get too old to work)  The lies being told about supposedly being a slave to evil capitalism somehow forget to inform people of the benefits of capitalism, such as the freedom to live and work where you choose, the right towards prosperity through hard work and opportunity, and the right to worship as you choose. You get none of that under a Communist dictatorship, period. Just speaking out against government abuses of the people can get you imprisoned for life, or even killed in all Communist countries. Beware of the Socialism pimps, as they are always working towards creating a Communist state in the end. History shows that to be an undeniable fact, unless your  unionized history teacher is a Socialist Workers Party USA member wearing a Che T-shirt in class. In that case you need to go straight home and inform your parents about what is going on, and demand that the situation be addressed immediately. American schools are for teaching our children true American and world history, and about the proven American exceptionalism that has made this the greatest, freest nation on earth for over 200 years. Leave the Socialist/Communist indoctrination out of our schools please.

Last but certainly not least, we see another revelation on the CPUSA’s homepage that should open the eyes of all Americans today:

Organizing for Jobs,Jobs,Jobs.  “The Great Recession of 2008 is looking more like the Great Depression of the 1930s. The economic crisis of U.S. (and world) capitalism is entering its fourth year.” (emphasis mine) next up they make the pitch that the only way to improve our economy is for the government to somehow create jobs. (Nanny-state enslavement 101 kids) ** Note: Nowhere in the United States Constitution is it stated that the government has the power to interfere in the private sector free market system or “create jobs” with taxpayer dollars. Funny thing about Communists, Marxists and Socialists: they all believe in radical change/overthrow of governments to mold society to fit their Utopian ideology. That means ignoring our constitution or eventually abolishing it all together eventually. President Obama wants another half a billion tax payer dollars to supposedly create jobs. The CPUSA wants you to know that they support his plan.

“Two weeks ago President Obama introduced the American Jobs Act to a joint session of Congress. It is sure to meet stiff resistance from the Republicans in Congress. A massive outcry of millions of American people insisting on the Act’s passage is necessary.” (emphasis mine)

In that last statement we see the communist Party USA parroting the exact same thing Barack Obama has been telling people across the nation in dozens of speeches. Coincidence? Not hardly. CPUSA takes it one step further in mentioning other Obama political-operative groups, such as the AFL-CIO and moveon.org:

“America Wants to Work (AFL-CIO) in alliance with many community and activist organizations including Moveon.org are organizing a week of actions Oct. 10-16 demanding jobs. Thousands of grassroots actions, marches, vigils, delegations and speak-outs are being planned in cities and neighborhoods across the country.”

Isn’t there already a group of wanna-be Socialists posing as a grassroots movement, protesting against capitalism and Wall Street bankers? Oh yes that would be the astro-turfing Occupy Wall Street protesters we see today. Further proof of the indoctrination of our youth by Union ( Socialist Workers party) teacherscanalso be found in this announcement at CPUSA: “A national National Teach-in called Students and Youth Rising for Jobs and Economic Justice will take place Oct. 12.” Isn’t that a hell of a coincidence there?

Communist Party USA —>  Occupy Wall Street —-> AFL-CIO —> Barack Obama’s very own moveon.org, all working together for the common cause of getting out and organizing for the passage of Obama’s jobs bill while protesting evil capitalism !   What a lovely team.   2012 just can’t get here soon enough!

Special update just for the annonynous pest trying to propagandize our comment section here at CDN:  Since DAY1  in New York look who has been behind the OWS protests! Thank you Andrew Breitbart.   Meet the career anarchist posing as a New-Yorker who is actually from Texas.

Hey Pelosi, Here's Your Astroturf!

Occupy Wall Street is Van Jones’ bottom up, top down, inside out strategy at work. The fringe leftist radicals were hoping the Tea Party would go violent so they could be blamed, but since the Tea Party didn’t oblige, the fringe leftist radicals are calling their own out on to the streets. Of course, in complete contradiction with reality, the fringe leftist radicals will conjer up a way to blame their actions on the Tea Party.

This 100% astroturf “movement”, completely manufactured by “progressives” who seek to destroy the American way of life, are “progressive” Tea Party copycat wannabees. Is it any surprise that this action was initiated by Van Jones, a self avowed Communist? That reality is certainly no accident. Now, the protestors are joined by “progressive” propoganda minions MoveOn.org (funded by anti-American “open borders” champion George Soros) and multiple unions like the Chinatown Tenants Union, the Transit Workers Union, community organizations such as the Working Families Party and United NY. Their demand are simple. What do they want? FREE STUFF!! When do they want it? ALL THE TIME!! Their “message”? Capitalism, mortgage bankers, commodity traders and corporations are all evil. In short, they’re a bunch of tax the rich Communist nitwits who’re in dire need of a bath.

Americans should laugh at and ignore these “progressive” useful idiots who’re clogging the streets and being arrested by the hundreds. Let the current White House occupant and his “progressive” political allies call out the muscle against their own followers, upon whom their re-election chances rely.

Class Warfare, the Tea Party, Alinsky and the Sixties

I spent a good deal of time watching video feeds and real time chat on Occupy Wall Street.  Van Jones is supporting this movement and probably helped instigate it.  He’s said in October the progressive movement will ‘push back’ against the Tea Party. Call me curious, I decided to see what they were pushing back against.

What I saw was a bunch of college aged kids who have never worked a day in their life protesting…. something.  They really don’t know what that something is because there is video of them being asked what they are protesting and they don’t know!  These brainwashed babies feel they are entitled to something and that the ‘rich’ have what they want and are keeping it to themselves. I don’t think I really understood the word ‘sheeple’ until I undertook the task of trying to figure out what was going on with Occupy Wall Street.  It sure looks like the October “push back” is going to be an attempt to ignite class warfare.

I’ve said for a long time that the long term unemployed are going to be a very vulnerable group of people that could easily be exploited by the left.  If the left manages to unite the long term unemployed, union members and the jobless college students into street action backed by union money, we could easily flash right back to the heydays of the 1960s because those at Occupy Wall Street are already claiming police brutality.  (Of course they are-it worked very well for them about in the 60’s)

So, the over-riding question is how does the Conservative Movement respond to these actions?   What I remember most about the sixties was the fear the older generation had of the protesters.  They chose to “hunker down” and hope the entire thing would just go away.  That was a mistake of gargantuan proportions because if they had stood up to the 60’s radicals we would not be where we are today as a country.  We would not see alleged conservative representatives ‘reaching across the aisle’ to full fledged and self proclaimed socialists and communists who are bound and determined to do away with our Constitution. Unfortunately, they did not have the internet… BUT WE DO!

In the very near future it could be the Tea Party Members’ chance to correct the wrongs of the sixties.  Are we going to ‘hunker down’ and hope these folks just go away?  There is no doubt the progressives will not rest until they use every possible means to bring about their ‘utopia’on the backs of the productive working Americans.  What are Conservatives going to do to counter them and maintain the dignity of the Tea Party Conservatives?

My suggestion comes directly from Alinsky’s ‘Rules for Radicals. Number 5 to be precise:  “RULE 5: "Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon. There is no defense. It’s irrational. It’s infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions.” I think we should laugh at them and make fun of them. (this is really pretty easy to do!)  We can blog and post all over the internet about the ridiculousness of this ideologically ill-defined ‘protest’.  We question where the money is coming from for all these people to ‘live’ and presumably eat in one of the most expensive cities in the United States. We question the reported number of people there and the camera shots that are close up to make the crowd look bigger. We question why there are police clashes with this group, yet much larger groups attended Tea Parties and this was not an issue. Question their age, question their education level….there are so many options available to ridicule and laugh at these folks.  They WANT you to fear their movement t- Alinsky outlined it for them:  RULE 3: "Whenever possible, go outside the expertise of the enemy." Look for ways to increase insecurity, anxiety and uncertainty. RULE 9: "The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself." Imagination and ego can dream up many more consequences than any activist.”

Here’s a good link to an outline of the rules in case you want to read them all and perhaps make use of some I haven‘t referenced:

http://sleepless.blogs.com/george/2009/08/alinskys-rules-for-radicals-for-dummies.html

Read them, learn them, use them….and laugh while you are countering the Occupy Wall Street groups!

Mayor Bloomberg's Latest Bombshells Land on Obama and Buffet Bedpals

The mayor of NYC, Michael Bloomberg who can not seem to stay out of the media circus for even one short weekend lately, as was witnessed by his latest episode of  TV stardom-fueled narcissism on NBC’s  Meet The Press this past weekend. Bloomberg, who himself is listed to as one of the evil rich people Barack Obama and Warren Buffett are saying need to be taxed more with an estimated worth of some $19 billion dollars, pulled no punches in an interview with DavidGregory on Sunday. While Bloomberg is considered by most people to be a leftward leaning Liberal Independent nowadays, he came out swinging at the Obama-Buffett tax the rich more scheme, that is deeply rooted  in Obama’s fake American Jobs Act.

First, Bloomberg jumped right on the neck of fellow billionaire Warren Buffet, for whom Obama recently named The Buffett Rule  after.  “The Buffett thing is just theatrics. If Warren Buffett made his money from ordinary income rather than capital gains, his tax rate would be a lot higher than his secretary’s. And, in fact, a very small percentage of people in this country pay a big chunk on their taxes.”

Translation of the above statement: ” Keep your hands off of my billions, Buffet and get an honest job to make your own money for once,  instead of dodging paying your own fair share by claiming it all under the lower-taxed capital gains loophole rates, if you really want to pay your fair share.”

Mayor Bloomberg also backhands President Obama with his view of just what he thinks of  the Obama-Buffett tax the rich scheme, when he stated that he wasn’t impressed with Obama’s class warfare tactics, including Buffett’s supposedly begging to be taxed more rhetoric.  We have to wonder if the mayor will be getting a call from the Chicago-Bully-Pulpit posing as the White House administration today about that statement.

Mayor Bloomberg even took it a step further in this interview on Meet The Press,  when he mentioned his support for a supposed third party candidate in 2012, and tossed out the name Americans Elect 2012.  The goal of Americans Elect is to “nominate a presidential ticket that answers directly to voters, not the political system.” “But if somebody wants to run, you know, there’s this organization that’s going to be able to get you on the ballot in all 50 states,” Bloomberg said, adding “That’s good for democracy.”

Mayor Bloomberg also made an attempt to explain Barack Obama’s class warfare in the interview when he said, “You can’t define what’s middle class, what is wealthy, what is poor,” Bloomberg said. “Every time you have a jump, people play games to get on one side or another. And I think it’s not fair to say that wealthy people don’t pay their fair share. They pay a much higher percentage of their income. They have a higher rate than people who make less.”

While it is very refreshing to see Mayor Bloomberg taking on the Liberal Establishment’s blatant class warfare that is critical to Obama’s reelection campaign, we also have to wonder just what Obama and company will counter-attack with in the coming days, and whether or not we will see a quieter, less vocal Mayor Bloomberg after the Chicago political machine gets winds of this interview and expresses their displeasure with the Mayor’s exposing Obama’s class warfare rhetoric that they deny even exists.   Mayor Bloomberg is also a media-mogul who  would be a dangerous person to try to silence with Chicago-style thuggery, and also just happens to represent the massive voting block known as New York City.  This could certainly get very interesting in the very near future.

Gov. Scott Creating Jobs in Florida/ What About the Corruption?

Florida Governor Rick Scott sent out his weekly email letter that I received today which included some good news on the jobs front here in Florida.

This week we learned that Florida added nearly 10,000 jobs in July. This is welcome news. In fact, since I became Governor in January, Florida has gained 71,600 jobs. I continue to work my hardest every day to ensure that this trend continues. Although Florida is heading in the right direction, we still have a long way to go. Our states’ unemployment rate is 10.7 percent. This is simply unacceptable.

While this has to be very encouraging news for the state of Florida, as Gov. Scott states, it is still at an unacceptably high level. At least we are moving in the right direction during the current Obama recession, which is a lot more than we can say for some of the higher unemployment states listed here. Nancy Pelosi’s Calif. is at 12.1%  and Harry Reid’s state of Nevada leads the nation in unemployment at a whopping 13.4%. In comparison, North Dakota currently has the nation’s lowest U/E rate at a wonderfully low 3.5%.

While Florida’s U/E rate remained stubbornly high at 10.7%, we did add over 9900 jobs in July. Today is September 17th and in all fairness, we have to wonder what the most recent jobs data will show. If we added a significant number of jobs in August, I am sure the Governor’s office would already have made that information available this late in September. Looking at the bright side, at least we are no longer bleeding jobs by the thousands as we saw in recent Florida jobs history, when it hit 12% last December. Note: It now appears possible that the Governor’s email letter misstated the month for which he is referring to there, as this article  says those numbers are for August right in their headline.

The Florida Economic Estimating Conference says that the future of Florida’s jobs picture doesn’t look too optimistic,  in a revised outlook, the group of statewide economists now predicts unemployment will rise to 11 percent by the end of this year and only drop down to 10.6 percent by the end of 2012, essentially where we are now.

“Their overall optimism has been pulled back to some degree,” said Rebbeca Rust, chief economist with AWI. They list the main reasons for what appears to be a stagnant Florida jobs picture for the next two years as the troubled housing market in Florida which saw foreclosures rise by 5% between July and August, a stalled manufacturing sector due to concerns that we are still in a recession, and more government cutbacks that are expected as more state and local governments budget for a low or no growth environment. Keep in mind that that information comes via the far left St. Pete Times that rarely publishes anything good about Governor Rick Scott. They instead, seem content to continue crying about how their much- hearalded candidate, Liberal Alex Sink got voted down by the informed voters of Florida in 2010.  While said Liberal media-puppets constantly whine about conservatives criticizing Barack Obama and demanding that they respect the office of the President, how about the misfits at the St. Pete Times trying what they are dishing out and show some respect for the Governor of Florida, Rick Scott’s office for just once?

I have worked and lived in the Tampa Bay of Florida area for over 25 years, and I am hear to tell you that the stubbornness of the recovery from this current recession in the Tampa area is a direct result of big government meddlers creating an unfriendly business atmosphere from within in the local and county governments. This is the reason Governor Scott has created a group that’s only job is to eliminate the thousands of job-killing regulations that have been enacted by past big government authoritative administrations. From Washington DC to Tallahasee Florida, and every town in between we are seeing thousands of over-bearing government regulations that are creating a climate of uncertainty and are in fact cost-prohibitive to business creation and expansion. Governor Scott understands this as much as any businessman, and that is why he is trying to walk back decades of big government gone wild in the State of Florida today. Thank you Governor Scott.

Governor Scott has made major advances towards improving the Florida economy and business atmosphere in his first half year in office. He is also fighting against the mainly Liberal media and nanny-state worshippers here in Florida on a daily basis who think it is the government’s job to support them through the usage of taxpayer dollars. Tampa’s problem was they they had an over-abundance of ill-advised  investors that bought into the mortgage scam, making Tampa especially hard-hit by the housing mortgage crisis. Because of this, many areas of  Tampa now look like the Detroit of the South, with abandoned homes that have been stripped of everything by thieves, and are in abundance in many neighborhoods. To add to the problem, many, many of the local politicians enriched themselves and their relatives during the mortgage crisis, yet none of this was reported in the news here.

Does Florida have a huge political corruption problem? Considering that the prior two governors have called for grand jury investigations into Florida’s political corruption, we have to say yes we do. Myfoxtampabay has a great explanation on it here.  You may also want to meet a Democrat from Hillsborough county Fl, one Kevin White, who is on trial for more corruption felonies than I have time to put into this article. It may/should anger the hard-working folks of Florida when they see that they are paying for this corrupto-crats lawyer also. There is also the case of former RPOF Chair Jim Greer’s current corruption trial as reported here. While those felonious corruption trials are ongoing in Florida, we see several instances of Florida politicians getting off scott-free in the past: Florida corruption denies Congress the ability to ever to win the people’s trust. U.S. Congresswoman Corrine Brown has gotten away with her corruption there. And in the ultimate example of Democratic Party corruption here in Florida, meet the impeached Federal Judge, one Alcee Hastings, whom is now serving in his 8th term in the U.S. House of Representatives!

Do we have a corruption problem in the state of Florida today?  YES. Are politicians above the law in America? Apparently so, if you look at the examples above.  What does it say about the state of Florida when this political corruption goes unpunished for decades? How in the world is an impeached Judge who was caught on tape accepting 150 grand  to throw a case before him in court by the FBI, allowed to serve in the U.S. Congress? Ask the people in Alcee Hastings district who keep on reelecting him about that form of ignorance and denial of us having honest representatives from Florida in our Congress.

How about the Grand Jury being called up to investigate all of this corruption in Florida Governor Scott? Where does the Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi stand on this obvious epidemic of corruption in Florida?  Career politicains who never get prison time and/or heavy fines for their corruption just invites more corruption. Let’s call up a Grand Jury investigation and DO IT NOW !

Speaker Boehner to Obama: Not So Fast, Mr. President

Shortly after President Obama’s stimulus, err jobs speech where the President demanded many, many times that his “jobs bill” ( which no one has seen in writing) be passed right away, right now, hurry, hurry, he received a letter from Speaker Boehner and several top Republicans. The gist of this letter?   Not so fast Mr. President!

Speaker Boehner points out that he would like to a actually see the bill, in writing, and that it be scored by the CBO before they can even consider passing it. Can you believe the arrogance of these Republicans? They actually want to read the bill before hurry, hurry, passing it! Ex-Speaker, Liberal Nancy Pelosi must be rolling around in her grave upon hearing of this craziness. What’s that you say ? The ex-speaker is still in Congress? Oh yes, that WAS her leading the childish clapping of the Democrats every 30 seconds during Obama’s bully-pulpit rant for another expensive stimulus package disguised as ….well, whatever it was supposed to be. Only in a liberal mind could extending unemployment benefits be considered job creation. Yes Nancy, Republicans actually want to read the bills before passing them. What a novel idea!

The Speaker’s letter also contains another bit of revelation intended to help  President Obama to discover the American way of passing legislation. The letter informs the President that Republicans will also reserve the right to make changes as they see fit to Obama’s latest stimulus scam attempt disguised as a jobs bill. Maybe Congress isn’t totally irrelevant after all folks. I was so pleased upon  discovering Speaker Boehner’s letter that informs Barack Obama that they will be following protocol in the U.S. House of Representatives and NOT ramming another stimulus bill through Congress without carefully weighing the complete make-up of the bill, that I felt like throwing a party! This could lead us to a new National Day of Recognition, maybe even a new Holiday to celebrate the novel idea of reading the bills in Congress before passing them. Thank you Speaker Boehner, from all Americans believing in the U.S. Constitution and the separation of powers in the three branches of our government. Those separations of power are our checks and balances that keep us from being ruled by a dictator like another Hussein, as in Sadaam. No, Mr. President, just because you get up on the teleprompter bully-pulpit on national TV and demand your stimulus ( posing as jobs) bill be passed right away without careful consideration as to exactly what is in it, and how it will be paid for, doesn’t make it law.  America is not a dictatorship, we are a Republic. One would think the great law scholar Barack Obama would have been aware of this before he even tried to ramrod any spending bill past the House of Representatives. Maybe then Barack Obama wouldn’t have looked like such a fool while repeating that Congress must pass this bill right away some seventeen times during his speech, to which Speaker Boehner simply replied: ” Not so fast Mr. President.”

United States Postal Ponzi Scheme

Postmaster General Patrick Donahoe appeared before The Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs committee on Tuesday to inform the current wizards of Congress that the U.S. Postal Service is drowning in red ink. They will not be able to avoid a total default by the end of September if structural changes are not made immediately. I refer to the wizards of Congress as such, simply because it is none other than the U.S. Government that has caused this most recent “crisis” that threatens to shut down the USPS. In the words of the Postmaster General himself, we see glimpses of the big government intervention causing the collapse of  what was once a proud, viable U.S. Mail delivery system:

“The Postal Service is in a crisis today because it operates within a restrictive business model and has limited flexibility to respond to a changing marketplace,” To which he added, “We need the ability to operate more as a business does. This applies to the way we provide products and services, allocate resources, configure our retail, delivery and mail processing networks and manage our workforce.” (emphasis added)

Welcome to the world of big government regulations, over-bearing restrictions, forced race-based social engineering in hiring practices, and Government-sanctioned Union pension plans too big too fail, Mr. Donahoe. The wizards of Congress worked hard to bankrupt a U.S. Institution that has been a source of pride in the United States of America since Benjamin Franklin was named the first postmaster general in 1775.  It is also commonly referred to as “an independent agency of the United States Government.” So just what happened to this independent agency to put it on the brink of insolvency ? Big government overreach and meddling is what has happened here once again, proving the dangers of a too powerful government full of a corrupt, misguided bunch of misfits in Congress and their never ending pursuit to “fix things.” Once again the power-hungry bureaucracy of Washington D.C. has created a major crisis that they themselves are currently holding hearings in Congress in order to “fix” the USPS. This is the direct result of uniformed voters electing fake lawyers and assorted con men/women into positions of power within our government(s) that have never faced the reality of  actually working for a living in the private sector.

While it is true that the volume of mail the USPS handles due to the current recession and the evolution of the Internet email system resulted in decreases in profits, there are two recent revelations that pushed this situation into the government favored major serious crisis mode:

Again, I refer to P.G. Donohoe’s statements to congress on Tuesday:

“Without legislative change this year, the Postal Service faces default, as available liquidity at the end of this month will be insufficient to meet our financial obligations. Even our unavoidable default on the required (by Congress) $5.5 billion RHB, ( pre-paying retirement health benefits to Union members) pre-payment and the suspension of our employer contribution to the defined benefit portion of the Federal Employees’ Retirement System (FERS) will not stave off financial disaster,” Donahoe said. “After reimbursing the Department of Labor (DOL) $1.3 billion for workers’ compensation payments in October 2011, we will have liquidity equal to approximately one week’s operating expenses. Foregoing the RHB pre-payment this year, without fundamental changes in the funding schedule, will likely only forestall insolvency until this time next year.” ( emphasis added)

Mr. Donahoe is not asking for a direct taxpayer bailout here, like the Union vote-buying, pay for play schemes that have become standard operational procedures in DC today. Instead, Mr. Donahoe would like the return of 6.9 billion USPS dollars in overpayment to the the Federal Employees Retirement System the government has collected from them this year alone. Billions in over payments? Where is this money going? While researching the current USPS Collective Bargaining Agreement that was signed in May of this year, these huge over-payments seems to be a pattern. From the USPS CBA announcement page linked in previous sentence we see some astounding truths:

“Independent actuarial studies have concluded that as a result of improper funding formulas, the USPS has overpaid the Civil Service Retirement System (CSRS) by $50 billion to $75 billion. Overpayments to the Federal Employees Retirement System (FERS) are estimated at $6.9 billion.” ( emphasis added)

Wouldn’t the repayment of all those billions of dollars in over-payments avoid the crisis at USPS is currently facing immediately? A better question would be, “ is the United States Government trying to bankrupt the USPS to facilitate a complete takeover ?”  The evidence above detailing the government’s involvement in pushing the USPS to the point of default certainly points in that direction.

This brings us to the reason for the title of this article containing the words Ponzi Scheme.By definition, a ponzi scheme, according to Answers.com  is defined as : A fraud disguised as an investment opportunity, in which initial investors and the perpetrators of the fraud are paid out of funds of later investors who lose all funds invested.

There are many forms of investments that can result in Ponzi schemes enriching the original investors at the expense of the later investors. In the case of the USPS bankruptcy, we see the workers investing decades of work,( paying into the scheme) for a promised payment ( retirement) that may or may not be there for them when they retire. Exploding Union pension and health-care costs for millions of retirees will, in effect result in the latest investors having their initial investment, (a pension paid for with decades of work) stolen from them. There simply will not be enough money to pay the USPS pensions that thousands of workers have paid into and invested their hard work into.  Without reforms in labor practices and innovative initiatives in how they do business to increase revenue, the ponzi scheme of the big government regulators and mathematically challenged legislators that have railroaded the USPS into bankruptcy will eventually collapse like a house of cards. Unless of course, Congress uses YOUR money to bail out and completely take over the USPS.

To pay for the USPS crisis that the wizards of Congress have created, somehow, some way, they will eventually have to TAX the people more. Every major money-making entity in America today has been undermined and attacked by the big government nanny-state worshipers, from the Auto companies, to big banks, to the housing mortgage sector, to the energy sector, to the water rights, to stealing Social Security funding for other Congressional ponzi schemes, right up to the point that they actually want to charge us for the air we breathe through fake climate change/ cap and trade schemes.  Big government has put the once proud USPS on the brink of insolvency, and with just one more bailout they intend to finish it off. Due directly to government regulation and incompetence the once reliable USPS mail delivery system has now become the butt of more government failure jokes.  In the end the nasty joke is on the people who willingly pay for big government  ponzi schemes where people are taxed and robbed at an ever-increased rate, and that will result in the now prevalent reduction in the freedom from tyranny that made America the land of the free for over 200 years. Wake up people.

An OPEN LETTER To The Less Than Honorable Charles Rangel (demonRAT/NY)

Rangel Introduces Resolution to Repatriate POW/MIAs and Abductees From North Korea

Charlie-boy…You’re late to the party again! Wassup wid dat? I remember how you stood by silently as Mssrs. Kerry and McCain worked very hard to STOP the duly constructed Senate Select Committee on POWS/MIAS from the successful completion of their mission to your fallen brothers and ALL WE VETERANS.
I ask YOU Charlie WHY YOU waited until the 50th aniversary to start to make some noise when there has been an ongoing advocacy for this for a Hell of a long time, which YOU did NOT jump in front of to take the political lead on, WHEN SUCH WAS DESPERATELY NEEDED, by pressuring BOTH party members and State Departments over the years?
I ask YOU Charlie WHY YOU failed to step forward, when in 1992 Presidents H.W. Bush and Yeltsin formed the U.S.-RussiaJointCommissionOnPOWs/MIAs, TO LEAD THAT EFFORT?
I ask YOU Charlie WHY if you are such a sincere and wonderfully inclined person today is this the true picture of you painted yesterday:
Congressman Charlie Rangle (D-NY) GUILTY of Ethics Violations
http://www.leftandrightnews.com/tag/charlie-rangel-guilty/
A House ethics subcommittee found Democratic Representative Charlie Rangel guilty of violating several House conduct rules. The House Committee on Standards and Official Conduct convicted the Representative from New York on 11 of 13 separate violations.
…and WHY have YOU, Charlie Rangel been not held to account by Law for your behaviors?
I ask these questions of YOU as a citizen pondering why you have not been held legally accountable for your many violations of the public trust?
There is ample evidence that would be known to you, Mr. Rangel, had YOU had even the slightest interest during your political career, that many such POWs/MIAs were tranferred to Russia for brainwashing and medical experimentation. Excuse me Mr. Rangel, but you have more access to secret documentation than I do, so you should be REALITY COGNIZANT OF the information noted in this section of ‘public information':
POWs and MIAs: Status and Accounting Issues
SUMMARY

of this report:
http://www.aiipowmia.net/reports/crs.html
I have this in my files and excuse my inquisitiveness, but this curious citizen ponder upon just this…
WHY it’s not in yours?
Excuse me if I question your motives now as TAKING ADVANTAGE of YOUR brother Korean War vets for some apple-polishing to an image that has YOU teetering on the brink of political survival and open to local challenge from your own NY district.
You earned our respect as a soldier for your more than honorable service during that war, but then earned our disdain as a civilian politician in all the years that followed. Behavior during one part of life does NOT wipe the slate clean for the behavior during the other. That is NOT how life works and how the value of a man is assessed.

ENOUGH! IMPEACH THE ATTORNEY GENERAL

I have just composed an email message and submitted it to House Leader Cantor via http://cantor.house.gov/contact demanding he initiate impeachment proceedings against Attorney General Holder for the charges, as per our Constitution, of  “high crimes and misdemeanors”.

This is the text of that contact:

There is MORE THAN enough evidence to hold the Asst AG Breuer directly knowledgeable for Operation Fast and Furious as per Mr. Issa’s committee evidence. As the ASST AG is directly acting under the authority of the AG a direct link is not needed to meet the fair standard of the Senate for conviction of an “overwhelming preponderance of the evidence”.(1) Even I, a concerned citizen and semi-retired self-employed house painter with but a high school education know that. Please consult with Speaker Boehner and assume your constitutional obligation to offer up a Bill of Impeachment.

We MUST place our foot FIRMLY on Obama’s neck to force change. He respects neither OUR Constitution nor compromise or diplomacy and is intent on bringing down this constitutional republic BY ANY MEANS POSSIBLE, which should be OBVIOUS by his pattern of behavior to anyone with their eyes wide open.

WHY is the leadership AFRAID to make that case DIRECTLY to the American public. Be statesmen, not politicians.
(1)http://congressionalresearch.com/98-990/document.php?study=STANDARD+OF+PROOF+IN+SENATE+IMPEACHMENT+PROCEEDINGS

Operation Fast and Furious has been already laid at the doorstep of the Assistant Attorney General Breuer. There is a memo dated March 10th, 2010(1) from Assistant Attorney General Lanny Breuer authorizing a wiretap application and revealing his participation in and knowledge of Operation Fast and Furious. There is another message intercept confirming a second memo dated March 10th, 2011(2), that further issues directives on this same mission.

The AsstAG and the AG can in no way claim they didn’t know the details of Operation Fast and Furious. As may be noted with both sources that are in the possession of the appropriate House Committee so all the facts are in place to initiate a Bill of Impeachment.

It is merely THE WILL TO ACT THAT IS LACKING.

Whenever the Assistant Attorney General exercises a “delegated” power” he is acting under the direct “delegated” authority of the Attorney General himself and BOTH are liable for the responsibility of such actions. The President is also responsible, but first things first. Getting Holder on the hot seat of Impeachment may reveal presidential complicity and this is of momentous import. I would remind that the standard for conviction by Impeachment is unstated in law and generally, as political precedent, been left to the invidual senator’s judgement. As a matter of practicality the idea of a standard of something less than the “beyond a reasonable doubt” standard has come into general acceptance and it is an “overwhelming preponderance of the evidence”(3).

Define “conservative”!

This is a subject I long ago should have posted about. It started to come up again as I posted comment to Wayne’s topic “Don’t Be Conservative”.

The point I want to open for discussion here is just what is a conservative. Each person’s answer is rather subjective and based upon their experiences and observational perceptions. To open this up I should make the point that I”ve long realized and NEVER seen observed by anyone else in my over 8 years of posting to ‘net political forums the points I’ll make.

One may fairly observe that in this country we have a great need to generalize political belief. It’s necessary so as to define positions and understand with whom we agree and whom we disagree. And thus the debate is engaged, ideally for the free and open exchange of ideas and opinions. I think it’s also fair to observe that one usually sees conservatives referred to by themselves and those  generally perceived as “the left” as “conservative”, or “fiscal conservatives” or “social conservatives”. Of course there are some latter day references like “neo-conservatives” also, but those three fit the common generalization of contemporary pidgeon-holing categories. Just to tickle your brain engrams a bit ponder upon this.

Why is it you’ve NEVER heard the opposition, liberals, broken up into similar categories of “fiscal” and “social” distinction? If the shoe fits for the right why isn’t the left wearing it too?

Breaking conservatives into two camps of descriptive is a way to divide and conquer with great subtlety so noone comprehends what is actually going on! If one is a conservative, he/she is not a partial or sometimes conservative. One can be conservative and have differing social and fiscal viewpoints and still be tolerated within the conservative community. The liberal community has a pervasive agenda of usurping this very system and therefore has no tolerance for those who opine with “off-the-reservation” opinion.

I submit that the answer closely resembles a Roor-back. That, admittedly arcane usage,  is used to describe a damaging report or influence circulated for political effect. The progressive liberal insurgents in this once great nation have been at their pro-active divide and conquer agenda for many years.

In the early-mid 60s, when my kids were in elementary school, that influence was manifested in the subtle seduction of parents to accept a “progressive” attitude that would allow the schools to accept a curriculum designed about each student’s ability to learn, rather than meeting a set curriculum standard that had sufficed and served us well for almost 200 years. They knew that parents with children quick to learn would appreciate giving those kids their ‘head’ so-to-speak and allowing a curriculum that allowed them to advance at their own rate. Those parents were always fed glowing reports of fine performance, which of course made their hearts glad. And parents of those kids with learning difficulties would appreciate the “special treatment” such afforded and they were told how those kids were bonding to other kids to gain a sense of “inclusion” and who, in the spirit of “empowerent” were being influence by “diversity” as contrary cultures and economic groups merged. Those descriptive codewords defined the agenda. It was a seduction, because it appealed to all for differing reasons and would allow the future perversion of the curriculum for political motivation to move on forward. And, believe me…IT HAS!

So much so that today a progressive liberal theology permeates every level of the educational system well up into the college level. To think that this is a manifestation of some sort of political paranoia is to be near criminally shortsighted. Our American education system didn’t simply morph into a political tool of perversion by coincidence. I have a habit of saying that when opinion can place the footprints of Machiavellian influences in the snow, then conjecture is elevated to a very distinct and “reasonable” possibility. Now we have the academia elite, most teachers,  public school worker unions, most elements of the lamestream media…all aligned against the best interests of this nation by using education to foment a political agenda to which the Fourth Estate has signed on to with glee.

I invite your comments.

Dear Ann Coulter : How Are Book Sales?

Following the New Hampshire GOP debate, Ann Coulter wrote the following in a Townhall article in response to an answer by Ron Paul that the government should not be involved in marriage:

“Most libertarians are cowering frauds too afraid to upset anyone to take a stand on some of the most important cultural issues of our time. So they dodge the tough questions when it suits their purposes by pretending to be Randian purists, but are perfectly comfortable issuing politically expedient answers when it comes to the taxpayers’ obligations under Medicare and Social Security.”

Coulter elaborates a little with Bill O’Reilly:

I am going to start by giving her props for remembering to use the word “most” in her statement so that she could cover her you know what, when she gets publicly called out for being a hypocritical, book pushing sensationalist.. which I am about to do.

Since Ann conveniently forgets to mention the rest of the answer given in the debate, let me fill you in. Ron Paul suggests that marriage should be an issue addressed by State governments, and by the Church. Ann equates all Libertarians with Objectivists (that was the word you were looking for, Ann. Your audience is smart enough to figure out how to Google if they don’t know it), and calls them cowering frauds when it comes to taking a stand on social issues.

I, personally, have a thing for supporting the Tenth Amendment in this country. I also have a thing for the rest of the Constitution. Call me a cowering fraud, but I spend an awful lot of time reminding liberals that they have no right to tell me how to live my life, or how to spend my money. That fact doesn’t change because I don’t like someone else’s decisions. We [Conservatives] have managed to come together from across the entire spectrum of fiscal to social conservatism, to recognize that the Constitution entitles us to make those decisions for ourselves, without the consent of some faceless government entity’s stamp of approval.

Coulter would agree, except where she wouldn’t. According to her, the States and Church are incapable of handling marriage all on their own. They would make terrible decisions that went against Coulter’s definition of morality and that would allow private handling of things like adoption, insurance, inheritance! How can we survive as a country if such things were allowed? She suggests that Libertarians would put an end to “official” marriage. I don’t know about you, but last time I checked, a marriage license was a revenue generating piece of pain in the butt, and marriage was sanctioned by love and God. (By the way, a decidedly Un-Objectivist point of view)

Imagine, allowing marriage to be taken out of the hands of the federal government, completely ignored by the federal lawmakers of this country, and completely handled as an institution of the Church. Why, that would be…. Demonic!

Anthony Weiner Will Resign. It’s about time!

Liberal Democratic Congressman Anthony Weiner of New York has finally succumbed to the national weiner roast calling for his resignation from Congress and in fact will resign. My only question is why did it take so long?  Over the last three years, he has had phone sex, sent naked pictures of himself to females across the internet while being newly married, and then spent three days lying to the public to try to cover it up. then in a nasty example of just how our morals have sunk to all-time lows here in America, we saw many Liberal sheep from New York try to make a case that he should not resign. Shame on you people, public officials are supposed to be honorable, honest representatives of the people, not perverts and lying scumbags such as Mr. Weiner has proven to be. What kind of example do people like him set for our children? This also shows us just how far into the swamp the elitists in the Liberal Democratic party truly are today.

While the sex scandals and criminal activities are pretty common across both party lines today, the audacity of  today’s Liberals knows no boundaries.  From Charlie “the tax cheat,” Rangel, to Maxine Waters, to the felonious corrupto-crats from within the Democratic party down here in Florida, Corrine Brown and Alcee Hastings, these Liberal elitists never seem to be held accountable for their criminal actions. Click on those two links there, and you will see just what outrageous activity those two Florida politicians have gotten away with. Oh and they are still in our Congress today!

Cyber-sex panderer Anthony Weiner thought he could stay in Congress simply by refusing to resign. I really can’t blame him for thinking he could just sweep his actions under the rug, when we look at all the above criminals that are still serving in our Congress and haven’t recieved one bit of real punishment for their criminal activities. How about Maxine Waters Mr Speaker? You are now in charge of the House and there is NO EXCUSE for not bringing that swamp creature up on charges in the House Ethics committee right now! As far as the uninformed voters from Hasting’s and Brown’s areas of Florida, there are no words to describe the pathetic pattern of voting for those two criminals you folks have shown in Florida!

As another Liberal hypocrite and ex-Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi once said, it truly is time to drain the swamp called Congress in 2012! the least Americans can do is start with the criminals who think they are above the law! The Weiner is gone, along with his big-mouth self-righteous, pompous rhetoric, and I for one, am damned glad to see him go!  Good frigging riddance!

Left Wingers to Finance Wisconsin 14 – CDN Fights Back

One of my readers forwarded an email to me asking if there was something Conservatives could do to counter a destructive move by the liberals.

Mr. Editor,

My Daughter is signed up on some left wing-extremist web site and sent this to me asking for money. She thinks that because I was in a union that I would support this mess. I was in a union because I had no choice. If I wanted that job, I had to pay union dues. Scott Walker is giving workers the individual right to elect to not have union dues come out of their paychecks and go to causes they don’t support. I wish there had been a Governor Walker in my working years.

Here’s the email, is there a way to counter this?

Over the weekend, I sent an email asking you to support the 14 Wisconsin Democratic Senators who left the state to prevent Republicans from passing a bill that strips workers of their collective bargaining rights. Now, I’m emailing to ask you again.

Please, donate $14 to the Wisconsin State Senate Democratic Committee, $1 for each of the heroic Senators.

There are 19 Republicans in the state Senate, but 20 Senators are needed for a quorum to pass the bill. If even one Democratic Senator returns to Wisconsin, s/he will be rounded up by the state police, brought to the state Capitol, and the bill will pass. If that happens, tens of thousands of workers will lose their rights.

Senate Republicans are pressuring the 14 Democrats by passing bills that require the presence of only 17 Senators. Further, groups funded by Wall Street are running television ads attacking the Dems.

The strain on these Democrats is immense. We must serve as a counterweight by providing tangible support. That’s why at Daily Kos we’ve added the Wisconsin State Senate Democratic Committee to the Orange to Blue 2012 page. The sole purpose of this committee is to support the Democratic nominee in each of Wisconsin’s 33 state Senate districts.

Please, donate $14 to the Wisconsin Senate Democrats, $1 for each of the heroic Democratic Senators. Your contribution will make an immediate, substantive impact on a huge political fight.

In solidarity,
Chris Bowers
Campaign Director, Daily Kos

YES! There is something we can do about it. It’s time to .. Give ’em Hell!! I haven’t received a response to phone calls and email to understand where exactly we should send the money, so I have included the emails and office addresses of every one of the grandest 19!

We can send $5 dollars to each of the Republican Senators. Spend $20 dollars of your own money and pick four Senators to send it to. Post a comment as to whom you supported so we support them all. As the founder and editor-in-chief of ConservativeDailyNews.com, I will personally contribute $40. First comment will show who I am sending money to. Will you join me?
