BryTupper Calls Into The Mitchell And Ray Show (As Ai Hosts)

Thursday was a bit of a confusing day in Internet Radio Land, as both Mitchell AND Ray couldn’t make it to host their weekly show, but the always (semi) capable Ai Politics stepped in and took control.

As a bit of a thought experiment, Ai logged into the radio show first, and THEN sent out a tweet asking if anyone would like to host/cohost a show right there on the spot.  Several (two) people responded, and Twitter’s @BryTupper ended up with the spot.

Bryan and Ai talked about many topics, but the least train wreck(y) ones happened to involve: The Trayvon Martin case, Barack Obama’s flexibility with Vladimir Putin, and how the media abuses our trust in order to release “breaking news” “first”.

Please enjoy Bryan and Ai’s attempt to take over the Mitchell and Ray Show.

Ai Politics, Kira Davis And Alex Kauffman Discuss The Trayvon Martin Case

In this virtual round table discussion, ConservativeDailyNews.com’s Kira Davis and Alex Kauffman call into Ai Politics’s weekend show (Married To The Game) and talk about the Trayvon Martin case.

All three commenters agree that the tragic story of Trayvon Martin’s death is high on emotion and short on facts.  There are many things that America’s news media seemed to get wrong when it came to informing our public.  As of the time this conversation was recorded, there had been rallies and riots and even rewards for the capture of George Zimmerman, but there were still very few facts, and many questions had gone unanswered.

Kira, Ai, and Alex talk about the media’s shortcomings, the senselessness of the the tragedy, and the opportunism of people who have been involved in controlling the conversation.  Listen to this compelling trialogue as three of CDN’s contributors discuss one of the most polarizing and tragic issues facing us right now.

Married To The Game Mar 17th: Apple, The Primary, And Your Introduction To SooperMexican

This weekend’s show was a little more informal than most.  We discussed what it’s like to be an Apple computer owner for the first time, and we touched a little bit on Apple’s performance in the market (as the world’s most valuable company).  We discussed the differences between the Verizon and AT&T iPads (yup there’s actually some differences).

We talked about Osama Bin Laden’s opinion of Joe Biden.

We talked about the “Stop Kony” narrator walking around naked in BROAD DAYLIGHT.

We talked about the Tom Hanks narrated campaign ad for Barack Obama.

And you got to/get to meet the multitalented @SooperMexican.  If you haven’t met Sooper Mex before, he’s quite a handful.  He’s a firecracker, even.  He runs his own website, SooperMexican.com, and he also happens to be an artist who’s contributed to MisfitPolitics.co.  He’s VERY outspoken on Twitter and has been known to ruffle feathers (mine included), but he’s a passionate conservative, and someone you should really give a chance.

Plus many more topics that were peppered in.  You’ll just have to listen right here.  (or in the player below)

The 2012 Republican Primary.  More importantly, we’ll also be discussing how we, as voters, have been treating each other.  Spoiler alert:  These politicians WORK FOR US.  We are friends and family, and they are our employees.  There is no reason we should tear each other down to build one of these politicians up.

Well, this show is probably going to be controversial.  Tonight, we’ll be talking about Newt Gingrich, Rick Perry, Conservative attitudes toward gay Americans, and if we have time, there might be some “if Tebow was Muslim” discussion.  A family friendly show, if there ever was one.  HUZZAH!

Wanna See A Breakdown In Society? Look No Further Than Your Nearest Grocery Store

While CDN is primarily considered to be a political website, I contend that mundane aspects of our culture can sometimes be a part of the equation that get overlooked.  One of the issue that’s been on my mind lately is how we treat each other publicly.  If the last couple of decades were known for being overly “P.C.”, then I fear this next decade could be the decade of “naked aggression” towards one another.

An act as simple as going grocery shopping has become stressful and unpleasant for many over the last few years.  Our fellow motorists on the road have long been a topic of discussion in our country, but now I see hostilities and conflict extending beyond the pavement and the stoplights.  Now the grocery store and even the parking lot itself seem to be unsafe havens in our world today.

Last Saturday, I began my (weekly) show, Married to the Game, with observations on what it’s like to go shopping in Southern California.  Below, I’ve combined some of that commentary with pictures and video that I took from a Walmart parking lot, both out of frustration and in an attempt to share with other people what I’ve been witnessing.  Ultimately, I’d love to get a conversation started in this country about how we can go back to better conducting ourselves and being “better citizens” in public.  But until then, you can find entertainment in my pain in this video below.

So what are your thoughts?  Am I just crying over misplaced shopping carts?  Are there bigger problems in the world?  Or is this video indicative of our “EBT” and “OWS” culture?

Also… In the video, I discuss how this has encouraged me to do more shopping online, thus costing local stores my business.  As more and more people seem to shop online, what effect do you think this has on our communities?

Let us know in the comments below. (or on Facebook)  This is a topic I believe we should all think more about.

CDN's Newest Talk Show: Married To The Game!

While conservative talk radio has no shortage of hosts and personalities, sometimes it does seem to have a shortage of ideas.  Sometimes it feels like everybody is saying the same things, and the only thing that really differentiates them is who can yell the loudest.  That’s where Married To The Game comes in.

Married To The Game is a new show and part of the CDN family that’s designed to be a “safe” place to discuss politics without worrying about the typical conservative litmus tests.  The words “RINO” and “true conservative” are not used here.  Instead, we focus on news and solutions for problems in an open and honest manner.  If you’ve refrained from listening to political talk radio, because you’re tired of hearing the same positions ad nauseam, then Married To The Game might be for you.  And… did we mention it airs on Saturday nights?  Be sure to tune in starting at 10pm (East) and 7pm (West) on Saturday nights, and feel free to call in to make sure your voice is being heard.  Be sure to check out the sample below.
