Letter to Congress: S.1867/HR 1540

Please copy this letter, put your name on it and send it to your congressional delegation. Your freedom is at stake. Put this on top of S. 679 that takes congressional oversight away and you have the final ingredient needed for tyranny to take over in America. I am e-mailing this to my representatives today.

December 10, 2011

Sen. Coburn, Sen. Inhofe, Rep. Boren,

I am writing about the National Defense Authorization Act (S. 1867/H. R. 1540). This legislation authorizes the President of the United States to order the military to arrest and detain American citizens for “suspected” terrorist activities or sympathies. It also provides for indefinite detention, at sites either inside or outside of the United States, without charges being preferred against said citizen. Apparently, according to a White House statement, Obama objects to the alien detainee provisions of this legislation. That is just great, our esteemed leader objects to alien detention but not citizen detention! That tells me a great deal about the design and purpose of this legislation. All that is necessary to enact the provision of this legislation is for a neighbor to denounce a citizen as a “possible terrorist”. History is full of denunciations; the French revolution, the Salem witch trials, the Russian revolution, Nazi Germany, China, Cuba, North Korea, etc.

By passing this legislation you are effectively negating the 4th, 5th, 6th, and 8th amendments to the Constitution of the United States of America. This legislation has also begun the active search for private companies to staff the FEMA camps that have been built as a result of S. 645, passed in 2009 I believe it was. At the time I protested the building of these camps, designed just like the concentration camps of Nazi Germany. The response was that these camps were built for housing victims of natural disasters. I didn’t buy that lie then and I don’t buy it now. These camps are for the subjugation and imprisonment of American citizens who will not bow down to a tyrant.

If the government intent is housing victims of natural disasters, why the razor wire and barbed wire? Why the double fence with a guard and dog run between the fences? Why the huge iron gates with the massive locks and chains? Why the guard houses outside the compound? Why the machine gun capable guard towers? Why the proximity to railroad tracks, just as in Nazi Germany? Am I to understand that civilians being housed after their homes have been destroyed have to be fenced in like animals? Sounds like Bovine Scatology to me.

And why all of a sudden does Congress and the Obama regime begin staffing these camps? This new legislation comes out, after the camps being around for 3 years, and suddenly it is important to begin staffing them right before the 2012 elections? Would this have anything to do with Governor Beverly Perdue (D- North Carolina) calling for the suspension of elections? Would this have anything to do with Rep. Jesse Jackson (D-ILL), and others, calling for the suspension of the Constitution so Barack Obama can “do what he needs to do” to “transform this nation”? Is this in preparation for those who disobey martial law provisions?

Would this have anything to do with the provision in Obamacare providing for a civilian “defense force” equal to or greater than the United States military, equipped as well or better than the United States military and pledging their loyalty to Obama? Has this happened before in history? I seem to remember Hitler’s Brown Shirts, the SS, and the Gestapo. I remember the KGB and their terror campaign against anyone who spoke up for freedom, or was even suspected of thinking about freedom.

If the government is concerned about ”homegrown” muslim terrorists it doesn’t need FEMA camps divided into 10 districts with hundreds of camps scattered throughout the nation. There aren’t that many muslims, much less muslim terrorists in America. Of course, with the current regime not acknowledging muslim terrorism that can’t be the reason for the camps can it?

And what does the current regime, and many in Congress, consider the threat to America? Let’s take a look at what the Department of Homeland Security considers a threat: Military veterans, especially combat veterans and those with special operations training, white males, Christians, NRA members, people missing fingers (?), those who are against abortion on demand, TEA Party members or supporters, anyone with extra food and water in case of emergencies, gun owners, and on and on. Need I go on with the list?
That our government is targeting American citizens with this bill is plain enough. The Obama regime, along with the Democrats and RINO’s in Congress, has been targeting conservatives for several years and now we see this being brought into a clearer focus.

It is bad enough that these things are happening but to see the votes be 93-7 in the Senate and 406-17 in the House is staggering, and frightening. Now I understand that the versions are being forged into a single bill behind closed doors. Once again We the People see our government doing things behind closed doors, subjugating us by subterfuge. Transparancy? Not in Washington D. C.

All of a sudden Lindsey Graham and John McCain come out and say they didn’t realize that this bill provides for the repeal of sodomy and bestiality regulations in the military. It is bad enough that these regulations are taken out but for two of the leading proponents of this to now say they didn’t know what is in the bill is appalling once again. Do they, or you, know what else is in the bill? Is this “we have to pass it so we can find out what is in it” legislation again? Does anyone read anything in Washington or does everyone go on talking points by those who write such tripe?

This is what Operation Fast & Furious was all about wasn’t it? Manufacture an excuse to abolish the 2nd Amendment and begin the systematic confiscation of all firearms. Adolph Hitler did this as a prelude to his massacre of millions, Stalin did this as a prelude to his massacre of millions, and guess what, every other despot who desires to subject his citizens to tyranny first rounds up any method of self-defense before slaughtering citizens wholesale.

You have essentially declared war, in the normal back room manner, on We the People, the citizens of the United States. I believe Congress and the administration either don’t understand the gravity of what you are doing or don’t care. Our nation was forged when farmers and woodsmen who desired to live in freedom stood up against a tyrannical government and won their freedom from King George and England. We the People will not be subjugated again. Our forefathers have fought war after war against tyranny, first to stop the tyranny, and many more times to prevent it from returning.

The Revolutionary War won our freedom, the War of 1812 preserved it. The Civil War won freedom for slaves, black and white. World War II preserved the freedom won in the first wars by stopping the tyranny of Hitler, Mussolini, and Tojo. And now while our brave soldiers are fighting tyranny in foreign lands their government is busy subjugating their families back home.

This will not be allowed to stand. You can kill thousands of us, you can imprison millions of us in the FEMA camps but you will never be able to subjugate the will of the American people. We have known freedom for too long to let it go by the wayside now. Americans are not going to give up their guns and passively walk into the gas chambers as the Jews did in Nazi Germany. We the People will not stand idly by and see our freedoms taken by despots, regardless of which political party they belong to. You will have to fight us in the streets, the country, and wherever you find us. There are millions of us ready to defend our freedoms, and the freedoms of our fellow citizens, with our lives. We will not surrender to tyranny peacefully.

Congress needs to scrap this legislation and go back to the drawing board. In the first place, these “comprehensive” bills have more trash than substance in them because no one reads any of them due to the length and the fact that reading legislation takes time away from “more important things”. Any provision that allows citizens to be treated other than provided for in the Constitution should be summarily tossed into the garbage can. Our national defense can be provided for without subjugating the American people to summary arrest without charge, without trial, without just cause.

The same Republicans who gave us the Patriot Act are now tightening the screws even more. I assume this will continue until we fight back. I don’t condone violence and don’t wish to see it come to that but We the People can only take so much before we won’t back up any longer. The TEA Party arose out of abuse by government, choosing to peacefully protest government tyranny. Unlike the Occupy Wall Street clowns, TEA Party people rallied in peace, without assaults, without vandalism, without rapes, without attacking police, without arrests. That should prove the patriotism of TEA Party minded people and show government that we expect to be heard without resorting to violence.

Don’t misunderstand and take the peaceful rallies of conservatives as a lack of resolve. Peaceful doesn’t mean cowardly, it means willing to work within the system to make changes. Peaceful doesn’t mean we will willingly march to the slaughter house.
I look forward to hearing that this situation has been resolved and that We the People are not going to be forced to fight a second war for independence.

I submit this in the name of the Most Holy Trinity, in faith, with the responsibility given to me by Almighty God to honor His work and not let it die from neglect.
Sincerely,

Bob Russell

Letter to Congress: Uphold Your Oath or Resign

January 10, 2012

Sen. Inhofe, Sen. Coburn, Rep. Boren:

I am writing concerning several issues that show a total contempt for the Constitution and We the People of the United States of America by Barack Obama, and more frightening, the Congress of the United States of America. I have just been made aware of S. 1698 which seeks to strip citizenship from citizens “engaged in war against the United States”. I realize the wording is vague and leans towards double-talk on purpose, and that is what I take issue with. It seems members of Congress are systematically stripping We the People of any right to protest, or fight against the tyranny being foisted upon us by our own government, and parsing words to accomplish their sinister task.

This is supposedly aimed at “homegrown terrorists” but we all know the definition of that term today. The only parameter of the Homeland Security profile I don’t fit is that I still have all of my fingers. Their definition of “homegrown terrorist” seems to be aimed at patriotic American citizens not the true terror threats, Islamic radicals. As a matter of fact, I haven’t seen Islamic radicals on their list of dangerous people, so-called “potential terrorists”. I fit the profile but Muslim males 18-35 don’t. Oops, sorry, can’t profile Muslim males 18-35, that is racist. This all seems a bit odd to me since we have been attacked by these nuts several times, and can expect even more attacks, including the possibility of a nuclear attack on one or more of our cities.

This comes on the heels of S. 1867/HR 1540, a bill which blatantly broadens the ability of the president to order the indefinite detention of any citizen without charges, at locations within or outside of the United States. I know it has been said that this does not refer to We the People, but Sen. Lindsey Graham, Sen. John McCain, and Barack Obama have publicly disputed that notion. Sections 1021 and 1022 are in direct conflict with each other as to the meaning of the wording, which lends a great deal of lee-way towards tyranny if one should be inclined and I tend to think one would be inclined based on the actions I see coming from Washington D. C. every day.

The NDAA also provides for the staffing of the FEMA camps, the ones that have been denied to exist. When I wrote about those camps a couple of years ago I was told they are for victims of natural disasters. No one answered my concerns about the design of the camps to resemble the Nazi concentration camps of World War II. I don’t understand the need for 12 ft. high fences topped with razor wire and barbed wire, just to provide temporary homes for flood, hurricane, or tornado victims. Why are they suddenly being staffed by the NDAA, with bids going to Halliburton recently? Are we expecting an unforcasted natural disaster to crop up any time soon or is it in preparation for the imposition of martial law and the suspension of the Constitution as requested by North Carolina Governor Beverly Perdue, Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr, Rep. Maxine Waters, and others in congress?

Pile all of this on top of S. 679, legislation that takes any away oversight by Congress in presidential appointments and we have the end game of a dictatorship, ala Venezuela. I see Congress deliberately abrogating their responsibilities under the Constitution and giving this, or any, president the right to do as he wishes regardless of the law. When we have United States Senators saying a president should be allowed to appoint anyone he wants regardless of their intentions regarding upholding the Constitution We the People have every right to be concerned. The extension of the “Patriot Act” wasn’t blatant enough so we have to go with even more. That law alone is so unConstitutional that it takes away the very basis of our Republic.

Today, the 10th Circuit upheld the ruling by Judge Vicki Miles-LeGrange that State Question 755, the anti Sharia and International Law bill, as being unConstitutional. This passed with 70% of We the People voting for it. This is more tyranny based on the whining of CAIR, claiming it is unConstitutional because it bars using Sharia Law in Oklahoma. Any idiot should be able to see Sharia Law goes against the Constitution and is therefore not applicable in America. SQ 755 has nothing to do with religious freedom. I fail to see how this can be ruled unConstitutional in the first place, much less upheld on appeal.

Members of Congress, as do federal judges, swear to uphold and defend the Constitution but I don’t see that happening in Congress or the courts much these days. I see bill after bill, judicial ruling after judicial ruling, coming through that denigrates my freedom and no one up there seems to give it a thought. I know bills don’t get read because of the surprise on the faces and in the words of members of Congress when the provisions come out. The two biggest backers of the NDAA, Graham and McCain, didn’t know about the removal of sodomy and bestiality rules for our military. Is that to accommodate Muslims? After all, they are known for their affection for animals. After it was passed and signed, they feign surprise with, “I didn’t know that was in there”. What else did they, or you, not know is in there?

Gentlemen, WE the People are fed up. We are only going to take so much before your rules are going to fall on deaf ears and we will run our nation without you. You are employees of We the People, not monarchs. We decide what is Constitutional and what is not. Government has grown too big for its britches and needs to take a good look at how our nation was designed. When patriotic citizens of this nation are called terrorists and the real terrorists are called victims of bigotry something is very wrong. Our nation is on the verge of collapse and Congress has its foot on the accelerator running us off a cliff.

It is time for you to stand up and publicly call for the resignations of John Boehner and Mitch McConnell. It is time for you to stand up and demand the arrest of Barack Obama, Eric Holder, and Kenneth Melson over Operation Fast & Furious. They should be arrested and held without bond for murder in the death of border patrol Agent Brian Terry, conspiracy to commit murder, conspiracy to violate gun laws, and treason for conspiracy to subvert the 2nd Amendment by their involvement in Operation Fast & Furious.

They should not be allowed to flaunt any law that I am expected to abide by. What do you think would be my fate if I violated the same laws blatantly violated by them? If you are not willing to do this then you have no right to expect me or any other American citizen to obey any law anywhere. You certainly do not have the right to expect us to honor your legislation if you cannot honor the Constitution. Do your duty, your sworn duty, to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America and stop playing word games with We the People.

I submit this in the name of the Most Holy Trinity, in faith, with the responsibility given to me by Almighty God to honor His work and not let it die from neglect.

Democrats Will Give Black Americans Forty Acres of Public Housing For the Honor of Voting For Democrat Mules

vote

There seems to be an unwritten set of Democrat rules for black Americans that include 40 underprivileged acres if they vote for the mule.

It’s obvious the Emancipation Proclamation holds a bad aftertaste for Democrats or they never would have 40 acre-and-muled black Americans right back into slavery where blacks have been instructed to live in the crappiest section of town on welfare, attending schools Democrats would never send their children to, insisting blacks fight for the racistpoverty-creating minimum wage versus competing with skills that allow for people to leave poverty.

But hey, poor blacks can hold their heads up high and say: “Those rich Democrats have made Black Americans what we are—poor!”

Of course black Americans are forbidden their fabulous forty acres of under privilege unless they comply with voting for race-baiting jackasses called Democrats.

To hell with the Constitution and the Rights of Man! Democrat political discrimination knows how to make blacks comfortable in their poverty: Never attempt to work and live beyond racially motivatedminimum wage. It’s not good for your Democrat politician’s life-style!

It’s better for black self-esteem when black Americans are reduced to pitiable destitution. Superior criminals are developed in broken homes where “70% of black children are raised by single mothers”, black unemployment in America is 40-50%, the illiteracy rate is also 70% and, as Economist Walter Williams points out, “Politicians exploit economic illiteracy.”

  Walter E. Williams says:

Black people could benefit from an honest examination of the bill of goods they’ve been sold. Such an examination would not come from black politicians, civil rights leaders or the black and white liberal elite. Those people have benefited politically and financially from keeping black Americans in a constant state of grievance based on alleged racial discrimination.

When black Americans make it out of Democrat-created black poverty, they are only commended if they are card-carrying Democrats. For black Americans to be anything but Democrat goes against the esteemed heritage of Democrat bondage.

And don’t forget laws stipulating black Americans join the Democrat Party, vote Democrat, and think and act solely as progressive leftists versus living as free Americans.  That clause is hidden in the Emancipation Proclamation: It states black Americans would never be granted freedom unless black Americans swore an oath pledging never to vote Republican or join the GOP.

Unwritten Democrat laws really do forbid black Americans from living as individuals.

Are black Americans allowed to vote Republican? No. Black Americans who vote Republican are condemned as a sell-out to their race.

Never mind Democrats socially lynched black Americans into poverty to achieve Democrat power; Democrats politically lynch black Republicans as traitors worse than Atomic Bomb-selling communists for leaving the party plantation.

Republican Crystal Wright says:

The left relentlessly calls black conservatives crude names to belittle us into silence, tame us into submission, and intimidate those of us in the closet from coming out. Message: know thy black place.

Economist Thomas Sowell says of black Republican candidates:

Obviously, any black conservative who shows signs of getting political traction, such as Herman Cain, has to be destroyed… One of the sad things is that a number of black conservatives who have gone out on a limb and have then had the rug pulled out from under them…

After decades of plantation politics wielded against blacks by Democrats, Congressman Elbert Guillory of Louisiana left the Democrat Party because:

[Democrats] have moved away from the traditional values of most Americans. Their  policies have encouraged high teen birth rates, high high-school dropout rates, high incarceration rates and very high unemployment rates… We can’t continue doing the things we are doing and survive.

Author and speaker Star Parkerpoints out that:

It is so clear that blacks are damaged by the left-wing political agenda—black voters so uniformly and consistently support Democratic candidates who advance this agenda…Black Americans, like every other American, need fewer taxes taken out of their paycheck, need to be able to choose where to send their child to school, need to be able to freely pick a health care plan that suits their needs, and need to save for retirement instead of paying payroll taxes.

Despite tangled-webbed emancipation tales woven by elected mules, Civil Rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was not a Democrat; Dr. King was, as Francis Rice points out, a Republican:

It should come as no surprise that Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was a Republican. Why? It was the Democrats who Dr. King was fighting, and he would not have joined the  Democratic Party, the party of segregation and the Ku Klux Klan…Democrats started the    Ku Klux Klan in 1866 to lynch and terrorize Republicans – black and white and drive Republicans out of the South.

A bunch of mules convinced a portion of America that the party of slavery and segregation—the Democrat Party—is the party of Civil Rights. The fact is the Republican Party is the Emancipation Proclamation party, the GOP ended slavery and it is the GOP that demanded the anti-Civil Rights Democrat President Lyndon Johnson to sign the Civil Rights Act into law in 1965, ending segregation, not the Democrats, who fought desegregating the South.

Fear not. Democrats always take credit for the Civil Rights Act despite the fact it is Republicans who demanded blacks have the same constitutional rights as white Americans.

National Black Republican Association  Chairwoman Francis Rice points out:

After the Civil War, Republicans amended the US Constitution to grant blacks freedom (13th Amendment), citizenship (14th Amendment) and the right to vote (15th Amendment). Republicans passed the civil rights laws of the 1860’s, including the Civil    Rights Act of 1866 and the Reconstruction Act of 1867 that was designed to establish a new government system in the Democrat-controlled South, one that was fair to blacks, [but] … Democrats enacted the discriminatory Black Codes and Jim  Crow laws Democrats fought to prevent the passage of every piece of civil rights    legislation from the 1860’s to the 1960’s.  Democrats wanted to keep blacks in virtual slavery and deny blacks the promised ‘40 acres and a mule’

According to Thomas Sowell, the Democrat’s forty acres and mule re-enslaved blacks on a modern-day plantation of poverty where rising illiteracy and crime are ignored by Civil rights leaders who happen to be Democrats:

Liberals try to show their concern for the poor by raising the level of minimum wage laws.Yet  they show no interest in hard evidence that minimum wage laws create disastrous levels of unemployment among young blacks in this country, as such laws created high unemployment rates among young people in general in European countries. The black family survived centuries of slavery and generations of Jim Crow, but it has disintegrated in the wake of the liberals’ expansion of the welfare state. Most black children grew up in homes with two parents during all that time but most grow up with only one parent today.

Francis Rice says:

If the Democrats had left blacks alone at this moment in history, our nation would not be faced with racial divisiveness today. Instead, Democrats set for themselves the horrendous task of keeping blacks in virtual slavery.

It is quite clear that one’s skin color and race continue to be more important to the segregation/slavery party than individuality and human liberty.

Maybe we need to amend the Constitution again: Abolish Democrat jackasses!

2012: The Year Of The Hand of God In America

As we start a new year some thoughts come to me from something my pastor’s wife said Sunday morning, January 1, 2012. She recently did a study on the number 12 and its significance in Scripture. It reminded me of the deep importance of God in the development of our nation and the importance of God in the coming year. This is what she said:

In the Bible “12” represents God’s perfect government and Divine authority. To write “12” in Hebrew two Hebrew letters are used … “yod” which signifies hand or outworking and “beth” which signifies house. “The outworking of the household in harmony under Divine authority.” I am claiming this for each household and our house of worship that we will see God’s authority extended to our territory from our homes and churches.

OH YEAH! AMEN!

Before I started my writing career 18 months ago, I was inspired by a series of documentaries I watched about the founding of our nation and how our founding fathers placed so much importance on Divine Providence. I saw how their faith in God and their devotion to Biblical principles guided them in their pursuit of liberty and freedom for all, not just the wealthy, elite group in which most of them belonged.

Our nation was founded by men who believed in God very strongly and prayed every step of the way; through the years of protesting to King George of England about their grievances; through the horrible years of the Revolutionary War when death, suffering, fear, and want were the order of the day; then through the 11 years it took to actually form a nation, write the Constitution of the United States of America, and have it ratified by the various states.

Those in charge of government, both political parties, vote into law legislation they don’t read. And frankly, they don’t know or care what it says. And then we have the endless array of bureaucrats who justify their jobs by adding to the endless stream of tyrannical rules we are expected to follow, followed up by judges who rule according to their atheistic agenda rather than according to the Constitution.

We have a president who is not constitutionally eligible to serve, yet both parties ignore the Constitution because it is easier to do that than stand up and do what is right. We have state elected officials who ignore the Constitution of the United States, as well as their state Constitution because these documents get in the way of their personal or political party agendas. We have cronyism more blatant than ever before in my life time, total disregard for the citizens of this nation, total disregard for the laws of this nation, and a situation that seems can only be resolved by armed conflict ala 1776. There is another way.

There is an old saying I have heard since I was a small child:

“it is always darkest just before the dawn”.

I have spent many cold dark mornings sitting in a tree waiting for some of Bambi’s family to come strolling into my line of fire and I can vouch for that old saying. As night begins to turn into day it really does seem to get darker and colder for that last hour or so of night. Starlight seems to dim and the night gets so dark I can’t see my hands in front of my face for what seems like a very long period of time.

Then suddenly, I see a twinkling of light, followed by another, and another, until the eastern sky behind me begins to slowly brighten, just a little at a time. Then shadows begin to appear a few at a time. The tree branches seem to take on different shapes as the shadows begin to form and the woods slowly come alive with the sound of squirrels rousting from their nests to go in search of breakfast. I hear birds begin to rustle in their nests and start to chirp; first one, then two, then more as the light begins to creep in and another morning breaks.

I believe 2011 was the darkest hour before the dawn. So many bad things happened in 2011 that it is easy to get discouraged, to become fearful of the future. The year was so dark with the activities of Barack Obama and the Democrat Party, activities that are totally counter to the Constitution, freedom, and our way of life. The Republican Party was no help either, but rather added to the dismay and the darkness. The 87 TEA Party freshmen members of the House of Representatives seemed to buckle at every turn and become part of the problem instead of part of the solution to the problem.

The National Defense Authorization Act (S. 1867/HR 1540) was passed at the last minute and then the two biggest supporters of it came out and casually announced they had no idea what was included in the legislation. “Sodomy and Bestiality are no longer against the rules for our military? The president can order American citizens missing fingers or stocking up on food held without charge indefinitely? I didn’t know that was in there.” We heard that from those “staunch conservatives”, Lindsey Graham and John McCain. Ron Paul, the darling of the “Libertarians”, says Iran should have nukes and that Israel is the root of all evil and isn’t worth our time and money to defend. The national debt that Obama, and the Republicans in Congress, pledged to diminish was instead raised by $2.4 trillion. Mitt Romney, the darling of the Republican establishment, has more positions than a symphony orchestra on any issue you can name. The rest of the candidates aren’t much better. Need I go on or would that depress you even more?

Today we look at a new year fraught with danger yet full of hope. We have elections in November that, if allowed to occur by our benevolent rulers, will determine the difference between a life of freedom and a life of tyranny for We the people. I wrote an article on this subject a couple of months ago in which I listed many of the things that have been done in the name of freedom but actually were done to take our freedom from us. I urged people to take a good look around them and to see what is happening. I have written many times about the issues facing the future freedom of We the People and what we need to do to remedy the problems. I am not politically partisan in my writing. I write truth, not party spin.

Most of our problems go much deeper than government abuse. The problems with government cannot be solved by man alone. God’s hand was prominent in the creation of this great and mighty nation, God’s hand has been prominent in the preservation of this nation, and God’s hand must be prominent in the future of this nation if it is to prosper once again. We as a nation have turned from God and accepted so many things that go against His Word. I remember a prayer given at the beginning of a State of Kansas legislative session a few years ago. I don’t remember all of it but the minister spoke of accepting sin by calling it all kinds of politically correct names. We must turn our eyes back to what made this nation great and acknowledge what has driven this nation to the brink of destruction.

I am encouraged by what I see, hear, and read on the many conservative social network sites I belong to. I am encouraged by the responses to items like this that I write. Even when I write about the bad things happening, I see people who are as outraged as I am and are willing to stand up and do something about it. I see people acknowledging God and His part in our nation. I see people who will pray, as we all need to do, but also stand and act on the promises of God for our lives and our nation. I am encouraged by God’s inspiration in my writing, in my life, and in my nation despite my failings and my sin. I wake up each day with a fresh start and a new grace to live through the day with. All of us have this grace, all we have to do is accept it and act upon it.

In Scripture, 12 is the number of God’s hand on our houses. This revelation gives me hope for this year, 2012, the year God will reach out to us in a way we have not seen before in our lifetimes. All we have to do is reach our hands back to God, accept that divine authority, and work within it to restore our nation. We can’t solve the problems of our nation from the top down, it must be from the bottom up. We can live on trickle down economics but we prosper on trickle up faith. We start with ourselves, move up to our household, then up to our community, our state, and finally our nation. It is each one of us accepting God’s forgiving grace and using the opportunity to make ourselves better first and expanding that improvement into an ever enlarging sphere of influence until it permeates our entire nation and we can once again be that “shining city on a hill” described by John Winthrop in the 1700’s.

This year, 2012, is a year that can turn our nation around if we will step up and do it. It CAN be done and WE can do it. No movement starts with a crowd, but with an idea one person is willing to act upon. This idea becomes known and accepted by another person, then another, then another, until it becomes a movement. The TEA Party is such a movement. It is a concept, coined in a phrase by one man, that has become a concept embraced by 67% of We the People. It is a concept grounded in Godly principles and the acknowledgement that freedom isn’t free and We the people have to stand up for the values that established this nation and made it great.

We are God’s agents in this world and we must operate accordingly. We must seek guidance through prayer and have the courage to act on that guidance when the enemy, both spiritual and physical, comes against us. For too many years Christians have sat back and let evil take control of our nation because we were too complacent or too fearful to fight that evil. We have left it to others to fight our fight and they have not done so. Those we depended on to fight our battles for us have become part of the evil that we are fighting.

This year is the year we have unprecedented help available to us. We can use 2012, the year of “yod beth”, to restore America to what God and our founding fathers established. It is time for us to take up the full armor of God and restore the United States of America to what is once was and what it can be again. If we do not have faith, and the courage of our faith, to fight this battle then our freedoms will be lost forever. It is up to me. It is up to you. It is up to each American citizen to do their part for freedom. Pray, repent, and act; future generations are depending on us.

I submit this in the name of the Most Holy Trinity, in faith, with the responsibility given to me by Almighty God to honor His work and not let it die from neglect.
