The Second Presidential Debate: Donald Trump The Art of the Comeback!!!

The second Presidential Debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton was held in Washington University in St.Louis,Mo.and for Donald Trump he proved himself to be the man of the hour. It took on all the excitement of a Monday Night Raw wrestling match. After a lackluster performance in the first debate Donald came back well prepared swinging and hitting Hillary on everything from Obamacare, Syria, taxes and the servor controversy and still acting Presidential. You could see Hillary was clearly rattled and tried to hide it with that wise crack smirk of hers. Donald had said previously that he was too nice in the first debate and would not hold back in the next one.

They thought that video would do him in and that he would have to quit the campaign. But he punched back twice as hard and they just do not know how to deal with a Republican candidate they cannot bully and intimidate. That’s what I like about Trump. You hit him and he punches back twice as hard and doesn’t let people push him around.

The debate was moderated by CNN’s Anderson Cooper and ABC’s Martha Raddatz who sometimes had trouble keeping the candidates in check as they constantly went over their time limit attacking each other. At one point they were giving Hilary more time than Trump to which he responded ,”I see this is three against one,” They then gave him more time. The questions came from the audience as well as online and I thought they were very even handed and fair.  I was expecting  the moderators to pick biased questions towards Hillary, but was surprised they were fair and balanced as FOX would say.

The first question was on the now famous tape of Trump making lewd remarks from 11 years ago. I thought Trump handled it graciously by saying it was wrong and he apologized for it sincerely and then tried to switch the debate to the main topics such as ISIS and the economy. The moderators and Hillary wouldn’t let it go and kept bringing It up. Trump who held back on a similar argument topic in the last debate let her have it with both barrels this time saying  in an ‘Ok if you want to go down that street’ attitude that her husband Bill Clinton did far worse than what he did and he lost his license to practice law and he was impeached. Bill and Chelsea were in the audience and had a surprised and look for help expressions on their faces. Also in the audience was Paula Jones, Juanita Broderick who Bill raped, Kathy Sheldon who was 12 years old when she was raped and Hillary got her rapist off and later laughed about it and Kathleen Willey, all  the women Clinton sexually assaulted. I can imagine what was going thru Bill’s mind at the time seeing them there. It must have been like the ghosts of his past coming back to haunt him.

A highlight of the evening was when Trump was telling Hillary she should apologize for all the hurt she’s caused people and erasing 30,000 e-mails after they were subpoenaed   by Congress. “People’s lives have been destroyed because of you,” Trump said.

Hillary denied everything he said and said it was all false and glad he’s not in charge to which Trump responded, “Because you’d be in jail.”A loud cheer rose from the supposedly  quiet  audience. Here is an excerpt:

TRUMP: “Bernie Sanders and between super delegates and Debra Wassermann Schultz and I was surprised to see him sign on with the devil. The thing that you should be apologizing for are the 33,000 e-mails that you deleted and you acid washed and the two boxes of e-mails and other things last week that were taken from an office are are now missing. I didn’t knowledge I would say this, but I’m going to and I hate to say it. If I win, I am going to instruct my attorney general to get a special prosecutor to look into your situation. There has never been so many lies, so much exception. There has never been anything like it. We will have a special prosecutor. I go out and speak and the people of this country are furious. The long time workers at the FBI are furious. There has never been anything like this with e-mails. You get a subpoena and after getting the subpoena you delete 33,000 e-mails and acid watch them or bleach them. An expensive process. We will get a special prosecutor and look into it. You know what, people have been — their lives have been destroyed for doing 1/5 of what you have done. You should be a shamed.”
COOPER: “Secretary Clinton, I will let you respond.”
CLINTON: “Everything he said is absolutely false. It would be impossible to be fact checking Donald all the time. I would never get to talk and make lives better for people. Once again, go to Hillary clinton.com. You can fact check trump in realtime. Last time at the first debate we had millions of people fact checking and we will have millions more fact checking. It’s just awfully good that someone with the temperament of Donald Trump is not in charge of the law in our country.”
TRUMP: “Because you would be in jail.”
Trump to Hillary: You Fear Me as President Because You Know You’ll Be in Jail…

I though this debate was very substantive and covered all the issues. Hillary showed that she had no answers for American renewal and all her tactics backfired.

Trump told her how horrible it was for her to label tens of millions of people as deplorable and irredeemable to which she replied in a weak response “Well I was talking about you and not them” The wiki-leaks tapes show how she calls Bernie Sanders  people “losers” so does that mean just him and not them?

A final question from the audience asked what do the two candidates respect in each other. Hillary again was selfish and sarcastic by saying she respects Donald’s kids as they are great kids and that said something about him. Donald was more gracious and said he respected her as a fighter who doesn’t give up.

The difference between these two is that she puts herself first while Donald puts America first. Crime is up, terrorism is up and we need a strong leader. Donald is strong and she is weak. Tonite’s debate was the biggest defeat for a Presidential candidate in debate history.

She takes stage, immediately sits down…
