Well the cat is out of the bag now, for years the homosexual community and Liberals have been using the excuse that homosexuals are born that way and there is nothing that they can do to change. Even in super Liberal California there is a law preventing parents from trying to get help for their homosexual children. How a state can tell a parent that they cannot seek medical help for their child is beyond belief to me, not to mention the religious freedom part.
I have always said that homosexuality was an unnatural act and a mental disorder, while homosexuals were shouting that they were born that way and that there was nothing that they could do. Liberals have always shouted that if you don’t believe in global warming, you don’t believe in science, well now we will find out if Liberals believe in science. I am willing to bet that the Liberal-Progressives will try every reason they can to not believe in the latest scientific findings about homosexuality.
Two distinguished scholars at Johns Hopkins University have released a lengthy, three-part report concluding that there’s not sufficient evidence to prove homosexuals and transgenders are born in that condition – in other words, there is no “gay gene.”
“The understanding of sexual orientation as an innate, biologically fixed property of human beings – the idea that people are ‘born that way’ – is not supported by scientific evidence,” states the executive summary.
“The hypothesis that gender identity is an innate, fixed property of human beings that is independent of biological sex – that a person might be ‘a man trapped in a woman’s body’ or ‘a woman trapped in a man’s body’ – is not supported by scientific evidence,” it adds.
Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth About Homosexuality offers his comments on the report to OneNewsNow.
“Homosexual activists have been desperate to try to say they’re ‘born that way’ because they believe this absolves them of their moral responsibility for their sexual behavior,” he shares. “And they know that if the public believes that people are – quote – ‘born gay,’ then the public is much more accepting of homosexual activism. And that’s exactly what we’ve seen in the culture.”
LaBarbera argues that the culture is getting false information from liberal academics and liberal media that present the “gay gene” theory as truth when study after study confirms there’s no such thing. “I think the evidence is becoming so overwhelming that there is no gay gene that even liberal-minded academics are forced to concede this point,” he adds. “The homosexual lobby and a lot of people in it banked on the gay gene theory to win sympathy. It worked … but the evidence continues to mount against that theory.”
Homosexuality was always considered a mental disease until 1974, then a group of doctors, ¾ of whom were homosexuals voted to eliminate it as a mental disease, you got that, they voted, that’s like voting out diabetes as a disease. Now because of science, they might be able to find a cure that is if the Liberal-Progressives will forget the PC crap.
