“Because you know something is happening here, but you don’t know what it is. Do you Mr. Jones?”—Bob Dylan: Ballad of A Thin Man.

On Tuesday July 8th,the New York Stock Exchange, Wall Street Journal and United Airlines all had their computers crash at the same time and had to shut down for a few hours. This prompted tons of conspiracy theories since China recently hacked into the computers of government workers stealing personal information of over a million current and former employees.  Trading was halted at the New York Stock Exchange for 3 1/2 hours after what has been described  as an “internal problem.” Trading later resumed, with sizeable losses.

This was followed by temporary trouble accessing the Wall Street Journal’s website, and a flood of conspiracy theories on social media about a coordinated hack attack.

United Airlines grounded flights across the country for nearly two hours, because of what they  call a “router issue.”

CBS 2’s Mike Parker reports in every one of these incidents, it was computer technology breakdowns, not a hostile set of attacks. But one local expert says more of those are sure to come and we should be ready.

With the outages at the NYSE and United Airlines, some people wonder if this brave but  vulnerable new world of computers could be open to a much bigger failure: a major enemy hack  attack. Outages Stoke Fears Of ‘Major Enemy Hack Attack’…

I agree with the comment below that something is indeed strange since an anonymous poster tweeted that they wondered if and hoped that the next day would be a bad day for Wall Street.

Something seems strange. The NYSE very quickly, maybe too quickly, blamed the problem on a bad software upgrade. But, the day before an anonymous group tweeted “Wonder if tomorrow is going to be a bad day for Wall Street…we can only hope”

To add to this, it seems more than a conincidence that United Airlines and the Wall Street Journal also had computer issues. Anonymous issued cryptic tweet on eve of NYSE suspension…

It sure makes you wonder.

More than 21 million Social Security numbers were compromised in a breach that affected a database of sensitive information on federal employees held by the Office of Personnel Management, the agency announced Thursday.

That number is in addition to the 4.2 million social security numbers that were compromised in another data breach at OPM that was made public in June.

Of the 21.5 million records that were stolen, 19.7 million belonged to individuals who had undergone background investigation, OPM said. The remaining 1.8 million records belonged to other individuals, mostly applicants’ families.

The records that were compromised include detailed, sensitive information about the individuals, including fingerprint data. OPM says 1.1 million compromised files included fingerprints.

Beyond the fingerprints and Social Security numbers, some of the files in the compromised database included “residency and educational history; employment history; information about immediate family and other personal and business acquaintances; health, criminal and financial history; and other details,” OPM said. Donald Trump has sure stirred up the pot and people are beside themselves now. He was right on with his comments and now people in the presidential race and media talking heads are realizing it and shaking in their boots. People like Rudy Guiliani are playing both sides against the middle saying he was right, but shouldn’t have said it that way. Well Rudy, people are tired of seeing government and politicians catering to the PC crowd and long for someone fresh who tells it like it is. Trump is that person. All this negative publicity has now pushed him to No.1 in the presidential polls.

According to a report put out by ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) in 2013 of 36,000 illegals released by ICE there have been 193 homicide convictions, 426 sexual assault convictions and 303 kidnapping convictions. The cost to taxpayers each year is $113 billion dollars, $15 billion in medical expenses for illegals and their children, $39 billion spent on education for illegals and their children and $12.4 billion in border security. As soon as these criminals are deported they come back again as currently witnessed by the killing of Kathryn Steinle by an illegal who has a two page rap sheet and was deported five times. And these companies want to punish Trump for what he said?

As Ann Coulter said a few days ago,”Over the July 4th week the government was warning everyone to look out for ISIS in this country. Well more people were killed by illegals than by ISIS over the 4th in this country.”
