Is It Time To Sign The Papers For Harry Reid?

There was a time in this country when you could have someone committed to a mental hospital if that person showed signs that they were crazy. You know, walking around talking to yourself, saying crazy things that made absolutely no sense what so ever. But alas, that was done away with years ago and we have to let these people spout crazy ideas and notions, no matter how moronic they sound, enter Harry Reid.

If there is anyone who needs to be locked-up, (for his own good of course) it is Harry Reid. His latest bit of buffoonery is blaming Charles and David Koch for being one of the “main causes” of climate change. (Where are the men with the white coats?) “While the Koch brothers admit to not being experts on the matter, these billionaire oil tycoons are certainly experts at contributing to climate change. That’s what they do very well. They are one of the main causes of this. Not a cause, one of the main causes,” Reid said.

Harry also said, “Charles and David Koch are waging a war against anything that protects the environment. I know that sounds absurd, but it’s true, In the Senate now, we are considering an energy efficiency bill. Who’s working against that more than anyone else? The Koch brothers.” The bright spot for Harry in his statement, is that he said “I know that sounds absurd,” even he knows how absurd his thinking is, so maybe there is a little hope left for him? NOT.

How can we not forget Harry speaking about Obama-Care, “Despite all that good news, there’s plenty of horror stories being told,” Reid said on the Senate floor. “All of them are untrue, but they’re being told all over America.” “Republicans may need tall tales and outright lies to convince people that Obama-care’s bad for them — but Democrats — we don’t have to make things up,” Reid said.” I guess keeping your health-care plan, keeping your doctor, keeping your hospital, plans going down $2,500 for families, these are not lies to Harry. Like I said, where are the men with the white coats?

Then, 30 days later, Harry said, “Mr. President, the junior senator from Wyoming has come to the floor several times recently talking about the fact that examples that he and other Republicans have given dealing with Obama-care — examples that they think are bad — I’ve called lies,” he said. “Mr. President, that is simply untrue. I have never come to the floor to my recollection and never said a word about any of the examples that Republicans have given regarding Obama-care and how it’s not very good.”

How can we forget that during the 2012 election Harry came out with a claim, that “someone” told him that Mitt Romney had not paid his taxes for ten years. “How would it look? … You guys have said his wealth is $250 million. Not a chance in the world. It’s a lot more than that. I mean, you do pretty well if you don’t pay taxes for 10 years when you’re making millions and millions of dollars.” When he was constantly asked who told him, he said “someone who invested with Bain Capital.” Nice try Harry. The Washington Post said. “He is making facts up. He is lying. And eventually it’s going to come around and get you.

Not that long ago, when asked why he wouldn’t pass a bill to keep children’s cancer research going during the government shutdown and perhaps save a child’s life, Senator Harry Reid said, “Why, why, why would we want to do that?” I ask you, would any sane person give an answer like that and mean it? Let’s face it, this man is out there,- he is not playing with a full deck,- the lights are on but no one is home,- he is not the sharpest knife in the drawer- his train is off the tracks. There are many more sayings to describe Harry Reid, but I will leave you with two Harry quotes, if they don’t make you sign the papers, then I have doubts about you.

“Our system of government is a voluntary tax system… Of course you have to pay them.”

“We found ourselves in a hole that I didn’t dig, but I have dug, dug and dug to try to get out of that hole.”

  1. You’re probably right on this. He certainly doesn’t exhibit any symptoms of sanity. Allowing for the dementia that often curses his age group, I was wondering if you’ve checked the levels in your single malt??….seriously, he reminds me of an aunt I had that the ‘grown-ups’ in the family politely referred to as a ‘closet imbiber’ Either/I-there he doesn’t belong in Government at any level.
