Rick,While your post, in it’s entirety, was informative & appreciated, It was the last paragraph that was so very profound & strong….particularly the final sentence…..The Phoenix rose from the ashes and on 9-11 Americans rose & united from rubble. We stood shoulder to shoulder in defense of OUR AMERICA & all that makes it so exceptional. We were of one mind & one heart. Sadly that ‘feeling’ melted into hum drum attitudes. Many still sit in silence, wringing their hands in despair, while others in determination have such a strangle hold on ‘their personal’ idea of a solution or political candidate that new ideas from others are chocked out. We must again stand UNITED and realize that no single person or group has “the’ answer. The loosening of one’s ideas does not mean giving up core principals!!! It means we have time to share them!!
When all bring their best to the kitchen we make a super dessert with not only a cherry on top, but enough spoons to go around.

The “American Spirit” & desire live in the hearts and the ‘ideas’ live in the brain. Remember it’s the heart that drives the brain….caution; perfection is not available…Victory is…
