Straw Poll Ballot to Feature Possible Presidential Candidates

WASHINGTON, Oct. 11, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — On Saturday one of the first major presidential straw poll events of the 2016 election cycle will be held at FRC Action’s eighth annual Values Voter Summit. The ballot will feature the following possible presidential candidates, several of whom will be speaking at the Summit:

Vice President Joe Biden, Dr. Ben Carson, Senator Ted Cruz, Governor Susana Martinez, Governor Mike Pence, Governor Scott Walker, Governor Sam Brownback, Congressman Eric Cantor, Speaker Newt Gingrich, Senator Rand Paul, Senator Marco Rubio, Governor Jeb Bush, Governor Chris Christie, Governor Mike Huckabee, Governor Bobby Jindal, Congressman Paul Ryan, Congresswoman Michele Bachmann, Senator Hillary Clinton, Senator Mike Lee, Governor Rick Perry and Senator Rick Santorum. There will also be a spot for a write-in candidate.

A vice presidential straw poll is also included, and includes the same candidates. The straw poll winners will be announced tomorrow, Saturday, October 12, at 3 p.m. Eastern, followed by a press conference to discuss the results.
