Minnesota Congresswoman Michele Bachmann has announced that she will not be seeking a fifth term in the House of Representatives in the 2014 mid-term election cycle.
In the video statement released on her website, Bachmann contends that an ethics investigation regarding her failed 2012 presidential bid was not a factor in her decision-making process. She also stated that she pondered not seeking the seat in the 2012 elections, but feared that another GOP candidate would not have had ample time to prepare for the election properly.
