Bob, what a pleasure it is to read your thoughts. I too believe you have hit the nail on the head. I was not a Markwayne supporter but I thought he would at least be a fighter. Yet another disappointment from Congress.

You had an alternative to both party candidates but chose to believe that someone who ran on a party ticket would somehow be different once they got to Washington. Now you want to express your surprise and outrage that he is just another party hack? Well the reality is you get what you accept.

Mr.Russell….as a former supporter of MWM as well (yes,already) I can attest you are correct, line for line. We are most disappointed and misjudged the mentality and judgment of this political novice…another candidate next time around would be most welcome. Bridenstine is a man to watch,he has the understanding and wisdom to stand strong while others line up with the establishment. I think we may well have our next Senator in Bridestine to take Coburns place,as Mark Levin has suggested!!!

Jan, thanks much for the kind words. This is indeed a message to anyone with a government representative at any level who isn’t doing the job they should be doing, ie following the Constitution and doing what is in the best interests of We the People. Oklahoma isn’t the only state being sold down the river by political opportunists. If we allow this to continue all of us will suffer from tyranny, not just a few. A few will have the money to buy their way out but not many.

At first glance this may appear to be an opinion piece centered on Oklahoma poltics…and you’d be right! Before you go to the next page..READ it again & this time put YOUR STATE & District in place of his….It’s the same tune, different verse..I have no way of knowing if Bob’s opinion & events are accurate, but that isn’t the point…The POINT is..Bob is WORKING TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE!! He is not sitting around kibitzing or wringing his hands in despair. He is ACTING ! He’s not heroic nor even particulary brave. He is ONE that loves his country that so many have died for and he knows & believes we are..ONE NATION UNDER GOD…and has the courage to march forward.. We have several readers from Oklahoma and if Bob has captured the attention of even one of them it may well have a domino effect.
(To me) this isn’t whether his opinon of this man is right or wrong, it’s about starting at home to direct the government’s officials to do ‘our’ business get someone that will. Thanks, Bob for a good lesson in Stewardship!
