    You need to check your facts. The military uses FMJ for both training and service rounds because it is against the rules of warfare to use HP ammunition. Law enforcement, on the other hand, is not so encumbered and most agencies issue semijacket hollowpoint ammunition because of it’s superior stopping power and, as you’ve noted, its tendency to stay inside whatever it hits.

    The cumulative ammunition bids that have been posted on fbo are amazingly large, however it is important that we have our facts straight when we question the motives lest they use small details to paint us as “kooks”.
