    It wouldn’t hurt if parents would learn to say “NO” now & then & stop giving in to whines of..”but everyone else has…” Might be a good idea if Mom & Dad didn’t try so hard to keep up with the Joneses & impress the other parents…When asking What a child wants is a great time of letting them know that’s not an automatic & ultimately it’s your decision. The best thing I got this year came in the mail, a note from my 8yr old great grandson thanking me for his Christmas present…I am delighfully old fashioned
