Boehner: This is Not a Game

Speaker of the House, John Boehner, responded strongly to President Obama’s continued campaign effort to ‘tax the rich’ as a means to end the financial crisis quickly. Tax increases on the wealthiest two percent of Americans will damage the economy and is not the solution, said Boehner, reaching out through social media via the Internet this weekend. Additionally, the Speaker outlined several reasons House Republicans believe the Democrats current proposals will hurt hundreds of thousands of small businesses across the United States.

“This is not a game,” said Speaker Boehner. “Jobs are on the line. The American economy is on the line.”

  1. Boehner keeps telling everybody that this is not a game, but he continues to play it. There are no compromises or negotiationing as far as Obama is concerned. It’s his way or no way, and that’s it. If he gets what he wants, it will destroy the country. If he does not get what he wants, he will try his damnest to destroy the country. The best bet is to not to walk, but run away from this self appointed tyrant.

    1. LE, “tax the rich, tax the rich, tax the rich” is not a budget proposal. For 4 years the Obama administration has not provided one budget proposal. For four years the Obama administration has brought nothing to the table, much like they continue to do now. All they do is find “popular” one liners and blame everyone else.

Oh and by the way…Boehner is not a “self appointed tyrant”, he was voted into his position by the American People.

  2. Its like you read my thoughts! You seem to understand a lot about this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you just could do with a few percent to pressure the message house a little bit, however other than that, this is wonderful blog. An excellent read. I’ll definitely be back.
