We are now just a mere 12 hours away from the polls opening for the election of 2012.

We have trudged through what felt like 2,847 GOP Primary debates. We’ve experienced Controversies from the Iowa primaries to John Boehner reading “the ‘ayes’ have it” from a teleprompter at the Convention instead of using his own judgement. We’ve seen blunders that span from Rick Perry’s “oops” moment to Marco Rubio’s “More Government” statement at the GOP Convention (what was in the water down there?).
There have been enough “wars” to rival a century of European history: The war on women, the war on porn, the war on marriage, the war on blacks, the war on unions, and whatever other war might be waged in the waning hours of the campaign season.
We have even seen completely nonsensical things that have no place in politics – mainly Obama and Romney’s experiences with dogs.

I believe that Wisconsin will be the deciding battleground for this election. Why will it boil down to the land of Lombardi, Lambeau, and Leinenkugel? Who will take the state, and ultimately the election?
UPDATE:
It appears that I missed New Hampshire, Colorado, and Virginia. We are still waiting on the results to come out of Florida. I expected President Obama to be re-elected, but certainly not by the margin that he was.
The name calling and insults are still happening. But why? Is it because I didn’t predict a Mitt Romney win? Or is it sour grapes?
…I’ll go with the latter.
