They said NO to God!

September 5th 2012, at the Democratic National Convention, and in light of the recent controversy over the removal of the word God and language that did not support Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.  That evening before the start of the convention, there was a proposed amendment that was put to vote by the delegation which would re-instate the word God, and fix the language that supported Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.  Later on that evening of September 5th 2012, Bret Baier from Fox News’ Special Report, tried to get an answer from Senator Dick Durbin.  During the interview Senator Durbin, unable to completely answer the question of why God was absent from the party’s platform, and that it did not use strong language showing complete support of Jerusalem as being the capital of Israel.  Repeatedly Bret Baier pressed the question of why was the word God removed the party’s platform, Senator Durbin still, unable to answer Bret Baier, possibly because he did not know, or did not want to admit why God and Jerusalem were absent from such an important party document.

Now Allen West, has come out with an extremely strong video showing the Democratic National Convention party platform debacle.  This video blatantly shows how the majority of the democratic delegates did NOT want to change the language that would add God and Jerusalem back into the party’s platform.  After asking the delegates three times, the amendment was approved over the will of the delegates.  Watch how UN-democratically the amendment was adopted by the ruling party of the convention.

The delegates clearly wanted God out of the platform but the chair knew it would hurtful to the campaign with regular Americans so they pretended on national TV that the vote was 67% for putting God back in. Clearly. For all the world to see, the voice vote was for keeping the Deity out of their platform and party. What Rush calls the “moron vote” may have differing reasons for excluding God, the basic reasoning of the ideologues like Obama is that God gets in the way of their concept of government.

    In the Declaration we are given the basis for our new Republic and that is that “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights….”
    The statist ideologues basis for their idea of government is that your rights come from FedGov, not your Creator. Ask any government school or college student where they get their rights and you will get the answer “from government” more often (if not always) than “from God.” They are being indoctrinated and it is taking hold as can be seen in the growth of FedGov and the decline in our culture.

    One does not need to be a religious person to accept the fact that somehow, somewhere, all humanity has a Creator and that it is not FedGov. This is not about separation of church and state –it is about equality, honesty, reason, fairness, and, most of all, individual freedom and responsibility. In a word: Liberty.

      Well said, George! BO wants no other to be more powerful than he is. If he gets re-elected, God forbid, I am here to say, “We ain’t seen nothin’ yet!”
      This is the most dangerous man on the planet. How on earth did we manage to elect a President whose mentor was an avowed Communist, a card carrying member. If Frank Marshall Davis had mentored George Bush, it would STILL be on the front page of every newspaper in the world. What frightens me more than knowing of BOs many hard left mentors (to include his father…) is the fact that the major media have failed to publish what is common knowledge. This is stunning. No wonder so many people voted for him and will vote for him again. They do not know the truth because of the unbelievable cover up of the truth.

        I agree with you and I think that if Obama gets elected again, just judging by the way he talks and the way he acts, he will never leave office.

        I honestly can’t see him giving up power, especially when 40% of the country think that he’s their savior. Even while the economic collapse became 2-3 times worse under Obama, that 40% of Americans will vote for him again and would vote for him even if the economy gets 10 times worse. So my guess is he will say that Congress needs to override the 2 term limit because he “has a plan” to save the country, and then the union thugs will come out and will protest outside of the congressmen’s houses and will harass them until they give in.

        Just looking at the attitude and adoration that his followers have for him, it’s like watching a Hitler rally, and I know that they will do whatever it takes to make sure he remains in office for as long as possible. We could have 4 very long years ahead of us…
