The Connecticut Senate Primary was held on Tuesday, August 14th. In the Republican race, Linda McMahon overcame her primary challenger Chris Shays.
In a very big way.
As of the last update (which you can view here), 98.3% of the precincts were reporting results, and the numbers show McMahon pummeling Shays with 72.7% of the votes.
Mrs. McMahon will face Democratic primary winner, Rep. Chris Murphy, in the November general election.
