Hurricane Isaac Update – Obama: “Now Is Not The Time To Tempt Fate”

Today, President Obama gave an update about Hurricane Isaac – which lasted less then three minutes –  and delivered a message to Gulf Coast Residents.

“Now is not the time to tempt fate.  Now is not the time to dismiss official warnings.  You need to take this seriously.”

Obama stated that he has already approved disaster declaration for the state of Louisiana so they can get evacuations underway,

Obama also told Gulf Coast residents to listen to local officials and their directions.  The President closed by saying, “we’ll be providing continuous updates at the national as well as local level.”
