Conservative Daily News allows a great deal of latitude in the topics contributors choose and their approaches to the content. This is due to our approach that citizens have a voice, not only the mass media. Readers will likely not agree with every contributor or every post, but find reasons to think about the topic and respond with comments. We value differing opinions as well as those that agree. Regardless of what the Left says, their real enemy isn’t the rich (they manage to get along nicely with rich celebs). Their real enemy is the middle class (bourgeois). As Lenin said “The middle class will be ground down between the millstones of taxation and inflation.”

A Marxist society consists of the ruling elite and the peasant proletariat. The bureaucracy assumes the role of the bourgeois (the merchant class, the landlords, the upwardly mobile worker).

The most logical (and easiest) way to ignite our economy would be to create a flat tax of around 12% or maybe 14% if the traditional exemptions for home mortgage interest and the like are included, combined with a balanced budget amendment.

This would go a long way to provide the type of long-term certainty that we need to spur investment that the author refers to.
