Akin Rebuffs Romney, Ryan – But Won’t Go To RNC [VIDEO]

Todd Akin, the Missouri Republican challenging for Senator Claire McCaskill’s seat, has been all over national news the past few days for his controversial comments about rape and abortion.

Today is a new day, but the media firestorm continues.

Mr. Akin appeared on NBC’s “Today Show” this morning and confirmed that GOP Vice Presidential candidate Paul Ryan advised him to withdraw from the Senate race in the Show Me state.

Akin also confirmed that he will not be attending the Republican National Convention in Tampa next week.
