Has the first die been cast that will lead to the “Zombie Apocalypse”?
Russian President-elect Vladimir Putin may have just thrown that die, according to the UK Daily Mail. The report states that Putin and his Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov have given the green-light to approve the development of
Mind-bending ‘psychotronic’ guns that can effectively turn people into zombies have been given the go-ahead by Russian president Vladimir Putin.
The futuristic weapons – which will attack the central nervous system of their victims – are being developed by the country’s scientists.
They could be used against Russia’s enemies and, perhaps, its own dissidents by the end of the decade.
The Daily Mail reports that sources in Moscow have cited Putin as saying that these weapons are “entirely new instruments for achieving political and strategic goals.” And that these new weapons “will be comparable in effect to nuclear weapons, but will be more acceptable in terms of political and military ideology.”
As if Putin’s remarks weren’t unsettling enough, the Defense Minister’s remarks during the announcement provided remarkable foreshadowing into the future of Russian weapons development.
“The development of weaponry based on new physics principles – direct-energy weapons, geophysical weapons, wave-energy weapons, genetic weapons, psychotronic weapons, and so on – is part of the state arms procurement program for 2011-2020.”
Rest assured that the US and DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) will not be too far behind in developing these types of weapons – if they haven’t already.
