I think you meant “human caused” CO2 up there though. Everything on the planet emits CO@, we have a Carbon based lifeform here on Earth.

CO2 is plant food. All animal life exhales it… Plants on the other hand take it in and “exhale” Oxygen…

And yes, we have had much higher levels of CO2 when there weren’t any humans around, and when humans were in pre-industrial times too.
