Of all that you said in this you ere.  Washington did rest in an invisible protector and his actions were motivated by an active faith in God in whom he trusted to guide his actions as general and later as president.  

I am sure you meant to say that safeguarding our rights cannot rest &quot;alone&quot; upon an appeal to an invisible protector.  

In that Washington and Adams would agree.  But as to your statment as left unamended you would be fatally incorrect.]]></description>
