To All Whom It May Concern,

Nothing is free.

With a govt-run healthcare system, abortion and contraption would be free to a great number of people, just as, to some extent, are many other taxpayer supported benefits, to the 47% of Americans who don’t pay income taxes.

Americans who are morally opposed to contraception and abortion on religious grounds (as I am in regards to abortion) would be required to pay for these “abortion services” to which they are opposed.

So then, where are OUR rights? Gone!

No one forces you to have sex. It is your choice, how you live your life. So pay for it yourself.

It’s time for many Americans to grow up. Take responsibility for your life. We The People/Taxpayers can no longer afford to pay your way in life. Shed your attitude of entitlement.
The world does not owe you a living, just as we do not owe you birth control and abortions on demand.

One look at Greece, Portugal, Spain, Italy, will show us very clearly how socialism is working in Europe and how it would work in America: failure on every level. As an economic system, socialism is unsustainable. As a way of life, it is demoralizing and defeating in its affect on the “receivers” as well as on the payers.

Our country needs to return to the principles of freedom, upon which our it was established. This is NOT A POLITICAL statement, rather a statement of common sense.

If we return to self-reliance and the free-market economy that has brought this country unprecedented prosperity, then we will once again have a healthy economy where individuals can provide for themselves and their families. If we do not, we can expect the outcome that we are witnessing abroad at this very moment.

Her testimony before Congress was never about FREE birth control; it was about insurance coverage for contraceptive medication. At least be semi accurate in your rendition! This is a married women’s issue, who also cannot get insurance to cover birth control pills, more than it is an issue for single women.

Well said Tony. Guns, Smokers, Light Bulbs, Cars, Now Birth Control…we the government will decide what you want and need.

This is the belief that society trumps the rights of the individual. That is not the founding of THIS country. It was in Plato’s Republic, Utopia, and the Communist Manifesto. Each of those also believe is killing adults that no longer benefit society.

Well, let’s just do that. First of all, attacking Ms Fluke’s ideas is not attacking her. If she is going to stand in front of this country and whine about something that costs 5 dollars a month that she and her partners can’t seem to afford on their own, then we have every right to point out how ridiculous this is and how idiotic she appears. The real question now is, do you believe in the constitution or do you believe the president can dictate (as in dictator) what people have to buy for others or not, regardless if they are religious organizations or not? Fluke and the left attacked us. They assumed we want to harm women. No one is denying access to Birth Control and the secret agenda item abortion. Where is my right to prevent ppl from continually raiding my pockets for personal choice non health related expenditures? If you want Birth Control (which is not healthcare)you can contract with your insurance company for a policy rider, pay for it yourself and leave me alone. BTW I think this future lawyer tried to threaten us. If we don’t give her BC she is just going to cost us more later with an unwanted pregnancy!! Really is that the lefts argument? Pathetic!

I don’t know if you all know how insurance works, but where I come from it isn’t free. I pay a monthly deductible and have a copay on all prescriptions. It sure would be nice if all of us sane, rational people would attack the issue, not the person bringing it forth.
