  • For so many years now, I have had the feeling that there was something really wrong with this country,
but I couldn’t put my finger on it. Now I know.
We are tryly living in a Bizzaro world.
    Thanks, Chris.

  • You don’t have to go back to the 1950,s or 60’s to see a change, just go back 20 years and there is a big difference in America. We are without a doubt, not going in the right direction.

  • It’s so bad these days, I even named my blog after the phenomenon.

Everything is indeed backwards, and it seems I’m not the only one who’s noticed. Back in the Good Old Days, kids played outside all day long, no tree was ever unclimbed, no one locked their doors because they all knew their neighbors would never disrespect their privacy (and would watch out for their place if the car wasn’t there), the list goes on.

The Backwards Phenomenon roughly correlates with the rise of the anti-war, radical environmental and womyn’s movements. We have had our society changed against our will.
