This character told Reason that he didn’t know Pres. Obama while they were in school (http://reason.com/archives/2008/09/05/wayne-allyn-roots-million-doll/singlepage). As such, he has no particular insights. He is simply one of many partisan hacks with strong and largely unsupported opinions about the current president. Why he was given a form to spout his pablum and why the forum would breathlessly intone that he is a “classmate” of the president, which most readers will understandably interpret to mean he knew the guy, is beyond me.
I work on Wall Street. It’d be like giving me a column entitled “Fellow PE executive drops dirt on Romney”.

The government IS starved! and how does a 3 percent tax increase from 15 to 18 percent starve a BILLIONAIRE? it doesn’t. If he can’t survive this minimal tax hike, he shouldn’t be in business anyway.

umm..by your logic – africa should be the most polluted place of all – a gazillion monkeys and what-not running around and pooping everywhere. Seriously, get a brain – there is a difference between “sustainable” growth and “wasteful” use of resources. America clearly falls in the latter category – that’s not to say that China and India don’t – but per capita carbon footprints ratio is much higher for an average american than for any other country in the world. So wake up and smell the smoke!
