Eastwood To Make GOP Choice In Coming Months
Legendary actor Clint Eastwood is not quite ready to make his pick for who he will endorse in the 2012 GOP Presidential race. The basis for his decision will come soon, he said “I’ll answer those other questions later. Give me another month or two of just listening to all that crap on television.”
The 81-year old actor, who has never retreated from speaking his mind, has blunt opinions about our current President, and the current GOP process. He told The Daily Caller:
“I just thought that we need that a president, in my opinion, needs to spend more time governing and less time with other things instead of just campaigning, I guess. But that’s just one opinion and that’s the way I believe it should be done”
And what about those 19 Republican debates? Eastwood has a refreshing view on those as well, saying:
“Some of them I’ve liked, but is there too many of them? Not necessarily because I haven’t seen them all. If I had to sit through all of them I might feel differently. I think it’s good for everybody to do that. It’s good for the country to talk about everything.”
Eastwood has legions of fans that span multiple generations. He starred in “Rawhide” in 1958 as Rowdy Yates, and has appeared in nearly 60 movies, and directed over 30.
