  1. I guess the terms Irish-American, Italian-American, Polish-American, Japanese-American, etc., etc., etc. are just like the term African-American and have nothing to do with an individuals heritage but just some political ploy to divide and conquer the masses.

    • I’m of Finnish descent, yet have never EVER referred to myself as anything other than American. What I,d like to know is just what do Americans of African heritage 8 or 10 generations removed have to be so proud about? Africa has contributed what to the rest of the world? Aids isn’t anything to be proud of. Centuries of barbaric tribal warfare sure doesn’t impress me. The clown costumes worn by Africans posing as American members of Congress that resemble coleman tents consisting of Orange, Red, Purple, Yellow, and Green speaks volumes about their sense of decorum and then they open their mouths (some not all) and can’t even read a simple 3 line speech written down for them properly. My how impressive that is.

Take away the slave-victim card and this rhetoric is exposed for what it is: Pathetic pandering and blaming other folks for people’s own lack of work ethic and refusing to take personal responsibility for what they make of themselves in life.

Hat tip of the day: Today’s article will be about those evil oil subsidies, not the ones the big oil companies get, but the ones every single “career” welfare family gets for decades of having the taxpayer pay their utility bills while living in gov’t subsidized housing! Yes it is time to stop all of those evil energy subsidies. Truth-telling is making a comeback.

  2. Crony capitalism is a not proper capitalism. That is why the two terms should not go together.

But just like the person who attaches a water ski rig to their Jeep, the bastardized setup will fail eventually.

Crony- as in: your Cronies get special treatment.
Capitalism – as in: you pretend it is capitalism. Getting the profit, but sticking someone else with the loss is not true capitalism, but there are people who are trying to cheat at capitalism, and it has to stop.

Only WE THE PEOPLE can throw out the bums who funnel special deals to their friends.

    • The term Crony-capitalism is not a slander on the free market system, but a term used to describe how certain people use their wealth and power over other people to enrich their friends( or cronies) and/or family members. Big government crony-capitalism is a whole different animal, as elected Tyrants enrich themselves and their inner circles through stealing wealth from the ignorant, uninformed taxpayers that let it continue by reelecting them year after year after year..

If I hire my brother to work (and enrich himself) in my company, that is a form of crony-capitalism, yet if it is a small company and he isn’t producing, then it could cost me my company, which is the risk I take. That is a form of crony-cpaitalism, yet is 100% legal.

Big government crony-capitalism is the illegal theft of taxpayers dollars from 1 part of society to another. It also falls under the “taxation without ‘proper’ representation” motto. I have the right to lose my company through hiring non-producing relatives, yet the government has no right stealing tax money to enrich themselves, their families and their crony-business/Union partners.
