    I think it’s appalling The People’s Republic of NY would criminally charge any citizen trying to do the right thing with their guns. The criminals who populate the streets of NY with handguns must be laughing their @$$’ off!

    The way I see it, any licensing scheme that is “may issue,” as opposed to “shall issue”, is unconstitutional. New York can require training courses, fingerprints, and a background check, but anything that gives unlimited discretion to the police or to a judge does not pass constitutional muster.
