BIG ideas and LITTLE moment….

Now don’t get me wrong, I love the moon as much as the other guy/gal… but until we learn to deal with the 13 colonies here on earth… perhaps some ideas are just TOO BIG for the moment.

Say what you will about Mitt Romney’s CNN Debate… but this was a HOME RUN and ANY true conservative should at least concede this much.

”Several of Romney’s answers were as knife-sharp as we’ve seen at any debate during the primary season, particularly his laundry list of projects, including the lunar colony, that Newt Gingrich has proposed”

“In South Carolina, it was a new interstate highway, and dredging the port in Charleston. In New Hampshire, it was burying a power line coming in from Canada and building a new VHA hospital in New Hampshire so that people don’t have to go to Boston,” Romney said. “This idea of going state to state and promising what people want to hear, promising billions, hundreds of billions of dollars to make people happy, that’s what got us into the trouble we’re in now.”

“A big idea,” Romney concluded, is not always “a good idea.”

Under the guise of being the MOST CONSERVATIVE Washington DC OUTSIDER…. (If only I could pretend I never heard any of this…) Newt promised Executive Orders to right the wrong of the current Administration… Lunar projects… Training programs… and the list will undoubtedly grow as the 2012 GOP campaign crosses all 57 states… (oops…. did I say 57???).

This Newt’s wannabee moral value candidate image, even for those of us who didn’t give a rat’s ass about Clinton’s … is bit of a big pill to swallow… something about throwing rocks in glass houses comes to mind.

I don’t need pundits or die hard Newt fans to convince me my ears & eyes are lying…. If you’re paying attention, Newt is crystal clear, thank you very much!!!! Progressivism a la GOP is no more palatable than Barack Obama’s FUNDAMENTAL Transformation…
