Either way, I question Levine’s use of the term. Asking Fox to never play his music (that they PAID for) on their “evil, fu**ing channel” again seems neither sweet or positive. But, as usual, the rules of civility only apply to people you agree with, right Adam? I actually like Maroon 5, I own some of their music, but you can bet I’ll never purchase another song of theirs again. Levine makes the mistake so many other celebrities do these days. He thinks the insulated, isolated bubble of privilege and riches he lives in actually represents the majority of the country. Can’t wait to see the movie about how conservatives ruined his career because he dared “speak out”. It should be called “Just Sit There & Look Pretty”.
