I wonder if Obama’s new luxury busses have any illegal exotic wood it them. if so it should be ripped out and seized until this is resolved just to be fair across the board and inline with what they did with Gibson.
But lets go back before Obama and think about all the cars that had peeling paint in the 80’s . That was another government regulation that caused that issue. Our government said the car manufacturers could not apply a necessary sealer coat in between the E Coat and color coat . therefore the paint did not hold . GM Cars that were manufactured in Canada did have the sealer coat and did not peel. Anyway these cars had to be repaired so rather then the let the car company’s do what was necessary to begin with . There was even more environmental pollution when all these cars were completely repainted at local dealerships across the united states without million dollar air filtration systems . Go figure

Our government is going down the road that led to the American Revolution. The issue then was “taxation without representation.” The issue now is “loss of freedom with representation.”

A friend of mine has a 1908 Gibson, was a POW in Korea, and this is how the goverment thanks him?? Let them try!!! Revolution is getting closer,if we can unite and organize!!

This is so ludicrous that it almost sounds like a joke. Yet, I know it isn’t! It is so typical of Liberals, that if they are against something (as destroying the rain forest, or using scarce wood) they make sure that no one else is able to do what they are against! I am so tired of stupid governmental interference in private, personal matters, that I could puke! We ALL need to stand up to this government (and as a guitar-player myself) and say “We will not tolerate your interference into our lives any longer! Get out of town!!!”

The problem is enormous. This “raid” by ARMED agents on a U.S. Company, on U.S. soil, for alleged violation of ENVIRONMENTAL law is a slap in the face to ALL Americans, and another reason to kick the obama-regime to the curb in 2012.

“What good does taking Gibson’s property and Gibson guitars from the owners do?” Forces another company to move its operations OVERSEAS. And another tactic by Obama-nut-case to enslave more unemployed citizens on the welfare dole.

What good does taking Gibson’s property and Gibson guitars from the owners do? They would just destroy them. This seems to be a Communist tactic to take away not only the freedom to manufacture goods and services in America, but the freedom of speech that we all have to express ourselves through the beautiful music that comes from these classic instruments!
