On the other hand, I don’t know a lot about the ‘gum trees’ but something doesn’t seem right about contributing to the deforestation of American trees to make chopsticks! I mean, I would rather see American trees used for American furniture. Why don’t Chinese/Japanese (and Chinese restaurants in the USA) utilize stainless steel/dishwasher safe chopsticks like the Korean’s do?
