DNC Escalates Mediscare Tactics in Rant on .. Huntsman?

Democrats Use Medicare Fear TacticsJon Hunstman is so far in the back of the GOP pack that by now he must be reaching the acceptance phase of the death of his campaign. That did not stop the Democratic National Committee from attacking him and the well-thought Cut, Cap and Balance plan at the same time.

A DNC press release entitled: “Give It to Us Straight, Mr. Huntsman: Do You Support Cut, Cap and Kill Medicare?” the DNC pulls out the Mediscare ghost to go after a political also-ran. Jon Huntsman has no chance of winning the primaries, but the DNC can’t resist an opportunity to frighten the retired and baby boomers into voting against any Republican.

Maybe by attacking a no-name like Mr. Huntsman, they felt that no one would test their claim. Cut, Cap and Balance has not one .. not two, but THREE clauses that exempt Medicare from spending cuts. Of course, we hear no Republicans pushing back. Why? Democrats have successfully pushed CCB into being nothing more than background noise in the current debate and the proponents of CCB, like Jim Jordan, just don’t seem to know how to defend their own plans.

McConnell: Obama Rejected Bi-Partisan Debt Proposal

Obama_and_Mitch_McConnellToday, Mitch McConnell spoke out on the political games being played by the White House on the debt battle. While on the Senate floor, Senate Majority Leader McConnell said [emphasis mine]:

The responsible path forward was clear to everyone – a plan that avoided default and required additional savings before any further increase in the debt ceiling. Leaders from both parties and both houses agreed that this was the right path forward legislatively – the only thing to do at that point was to present this bipartisan solution to the president. And what was the president’s response? Well, unfortunately, to demand the largest single debt limit increase in history…

There’s absolutely no economic justification for insisting on a debt limit increase that brings us through the next election. It’s not the beginning of a fiscal year, it’s not the beginning of a calendar year, based on his own words its hard to conclude that this request has anything to do with anything other than the president’s re-election.

This weekend we offered the President a bipartisan proposal to avoid default so we could have the time we need to put together a serious plan for getting our house in order and he rejected it out of hand.

What happened to compromise? President Obama reportedly rejected the proposal to force a one-time, large debt-ceiling increase instead of a phased pair of smaller increases with real spending cuts attached. Now, both the House and Senate are hardening their stances and producing plans neither will be able to accept. All because Obama wanted all-or-nothing.

Senate Democrats have offered a plan full of gimmicks. The majority of cuts come from funding on Iraq that was never going to be spent as the war is over. The rest is on supposed savings from interest on the debt. While no actual spending cuts take place in the $2.7 trillion worth of reductions and the “savings” are over the next ten years in the plan presented by Reid, the $2.4 trillion in debt ceiling increase happens immediately. Reid’s larger problem is that because the plan contains no tax hikes, a large portion of his party may not support it. For the Democrat-led Senate, it’s tax-and-spend or nothing.

House Republicans are proposing a two phase plan. In the first round, the debt ceiling is only raised $1 trillion while $1 trillion in cuts are taken “up front”. The second part of the plan requires another debt committee. this time with 12 members of Congress to recommend deeper cuts. The plan also calls on Congress to vote on a balanced-budget amendment in the fourth quarter of this year. But Speaker Boehner has his hands full too. Jim Jordan, one of the sponsors of the cut, cap and balance bill has already publicly said that he does not support this new plan as has President Obama and Harry Reid.

The bi-partisan agreement was most-likely the last best hope for the two sides to come together and in a show of absolute lack of leadership – the president killed it.

Terminal at J.F.K. International Airport Evacuated

JFK AirportThe American Airlines terminal at JFK in New York has been evacuated after a bomb-sniffing dog alerted security personnel to a suspicious bag left in the terminal by a passenger that had already departed on a flight bound for San Fransisco.

Update 10:15: Authorities have now given the all clear for passengers to re-enter the terminal.

Harry Reid Set to Release “Foolish” Budget Plan

In May, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said that “There’s no need to have a Democratic budget in my opinion.” and that “It would be  foolish for us to do a budget at this stage.” The do-nothing Senate, led by Reid, has failed to do much of anything – useful or otherwise –  on the nation’s budget crisis. Apparently, that has been intentional. “Senate Democrats are desperately trying to avoid having to present a budget to the American people,” said Senator Jeff Sessions. “They know that the big spenders in their caucus prevent them from bringing forward a credible plan that both their party and the country can support.”

Since then, the House Republicans have produced the Ryan plan and Cut, Cap and Balance. Not afraid to have their motivations on paper for all to see, they’ve done their work. The Senate Democrats seem more worried about being re-elected than performing their duty.

Well, turn the page, and today Harry Reid releases a Democrat budget plan for the first time in over 890 days. Or did he?

The plan is so far, just a statement:

  • Raises the debt ceiling $2.4 trillion as requested by the President
  • Proposes slashing spending $2.7 trillion without touching entitlements or raising taxes

Unfortunately, the plan has not been officially presented to show any validity to the spending cut numbers which most agree is impossible without entitlement reform and a tremendous broadening of the tax base to include the 50% of Americans that do not currently pay any federal income tax.

Considering Reid’s stance on putting his intentions in writing, it is difficult to expect that the plan will be anything more than a proposal to immediately increase the debt ceiling while Senate committees discuss how to get the cuts promised in his plan. That set of activities will likely end the same way as the deals made with Reagan and Bush where the Democrats agreed to spending cuts in order to get tax increases. The tax increases went in immediately and the spending cuts never materialized.

Congress, the President and even the media are continuing to create artificial deadlines in order to manufacture a climate of crisis. On Friday, the media was ripe with commentary and quotations telling Americans that if no debt deal was had by Sunday night, the Asian markets would collapse today. That hasn’t happened – at all.

Instead, it is reasonable to expect that continued date-pressure will be used to hurry bad plans through Congress – much like the rush to get Health Care Reform instituted.

US Dept Of Veterans Affairs Bans Mention of God

Complete story may be see here:

So here we go again. The administration of the ultimate Control Freakazoid, The Usuper Obama, strikes again in the person of Arleen Ocasio, Director of the Houston National Cemetery.

…for we are no longer a Christian nation and, after all, I am The (Chosen) One. Like God, I do not have a verifiable COB (CertificateOfBirth). He who shall have doubted or opposed me shall suffer in the afterlife of 2012.

The mere mention of the word “God” has brought the full weight of the federal government down upon the mourning shoulders of no less than four American families grieving for their fallen heroes…, who fell in service to the demands of that very same government.

My review of available biography material(1) on Ms. Ocasio indicates that she was formerly affiliated and worked within the VA Medical Center in of all places…Chicago, IL. While there she was in the position of Hispanic Employment Program assistant manager which position most certainly have placed her in direct contact with various “community organizer” folks to further the interests of disadvantaged minorities. Interesting.

When the no mention of God issue shtf it provoked an investigation by Congressman Ted Poe of TX covered well here:

http://biggovernment.com/mlancaster/2011/07/23/texas-congressman-goes-undercover-at-houston-national-cemetery/

…which references the ongoing lawsuit on this very matter.

In May Federal District Judge Lynn N. Hughes granted a temporary restraining order against the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and its Director of the Houston National Cemetery, Arleen Ocasio.

The order was issued to keep the VA and Ocasio from preventing Pastor Scott Rainey from praying in Jesus’ name during his invocation at a Memorial Day ceremony sponsored by the National Cemetery Council for Greater Houston (a private, non-profit association). The order was issued because the judge ruled that “such censorship and religious discrimination violates the free speech guarantees of the First Amendment.”

This is the applicable portion of that restraining order that lays down the interpretation of constitutional law:

“The government’s compulsion of a program’s inclusion or exclusion of a particular religion offends the Constitution. The Constitution does not confide to the government the authority to compel emptiness in a prayer, where a prayer belongs.”

Besides the prayer issue, Ms. Ocasio incurred the judge’s wrath for appearing to confirm that the cemetery’s former “chapel” was closed and turned into a meeting room by virtue of this exchange…

Judge Hughes denied the government’s motion to dismiss the case, but not before upbraiding VA’s attorney, Fred Hinrichs, for being unable to answer his questions.

When Hughes asked whether the chapel was open, Hinrichs said he didn’t know.

“Why not?” the judge shot back. “A phone call to the cemetery could ascertain if that is true or not.”

“Yes, your honor,” the attorney said.

“So the VA has been investigating for a month and hasn’t come to any conclusions?” the judge pressed.

Hinrichs said some of the claims in the complaint aren’t factually correct, but he wasn’t prepared to give specifics.

“I don’t know that they’re true,” the judge said, “but an afternoon on Veterans Memorial Drive and you should be able to document most of this stuff.”   (2)

Ms. Ocasio can still be (as of this date) reached at 281-447-8686 (extension 206). IMPORTANT: (“Importante” en Espanol) Although NO PROMPT is given to enter an extension if you have one, it will be accepted IF you enter 2-0-6 IMMEDIATELY upon the completion of the entire recorded message you hear.

Racism In America

August 28, 1963 on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. delivered his “I Have a Dream” speech to a massive crowd of two hundred thousand plus people. The crowd was made up of many different races of people, not just black, not just white. On that day, people gathered and united for a common good. Even though race relations could have exploded into violence and unrest many people of our nation united to solve a long standing problem.

“I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.”

These immortal words were a driving force behind actions taken to correct the injustices that were so prevalent in those days.

My question for you is this: have the words and dreams of Dr. King been twisted and perverted?

Rep. Allen West has been in the news a great deal. Rep. West has stated that he has been called such things as “Uncle Tom” and “sellout” for standing up for what he believes. Rep. West received numerous decorations in his military career before he retired in 2004, but it appears that his biggest battle might have just begun. Those on the left seem to have set their sights on Rep. West, especially fellow Floridian Rep. Wasserman-Schultz.

Recently I came across an article by Lloyd Marcus entitled “The Black Code”. Mr. Marcus answered some questions I have had for several years and even gave some new questions and thoughts to ponder. I understand that like people tend to group together whether it is on the basis of religion, culture or even race. What Mr. Marcus opened my eyes to is the existence of the “codes” that exist among many groups- be it blacks, whites, liberal or conservative to name a few. Some people live their lives by such a code while others don’t. Mr. Marcus described some of the repercussions of not adhering to the “Black Code”.

“Consequences for violating The Black Code are severe. I boldly proclaim myself to be an unhyphenated American rather than the politically correct term, “African-American”. It never occurred to me my statement would be seen as a violation of The Black Code.”

Mr. Marcus explained how the code played into the election of Obama when he ran for president.

“The emergence of Obama as America’s first black presidential candidate automatically activated The Black Code in the hearts and minds of most black Americans.

Obama’s socialistic ideas, anti-America associations and friends were irrelevant. Once again, I found myself odd man out with family and black friends.”

This is when I asked myself a couple of questions; isn’t it just as racist to vote for a person because of their skin color as it is to not to vote for them for their skin color? Doesn’t this kind of thinking contradict Dr. King’s teachings?

“But there is something that I must say to my people who stand on the warm threshold which leads into the palace of justice. In the process of gaining our rightful place we must not be guilty of wrongful deeds. Let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred.”   – Dr. King

“Al Sharpton and the usual suspects along with their sycophant clueless puppy dog white liberal media exploit The Black Code at every opportunity.”-Lloyd Marcus

Over the years, people such as Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson have successfully manipulated many Americans for nothing more than their personal gain while others have used the “race card” to push their liberal agenda.

When Rep. Allen West sent his email to Rep. Wasserman-Schultz in response to her attack on him, the head of The National Black Caucus stated that he was “furious” with Rep. West. Where is this “Black Code”? Does Rep. West not qualify for inclusion in the loyalty the “code” dictates? Am I to understand that the “code” does not apply to black gentlemen (or ladies) that hold conservative values?

“Exploitation of The Black Code is the left’s strategy to defeat the tea party and get out the black vote in 2012. Their think tank went something like this:

“I got it!

Let’s call the tea party racist.

We’ll accuse them of opposing Obama’s race rather than his agenda to fundamentally transform America. Instinctively, blacks will flock to the polls in defense of their brother against those white tea party rednecks.”- Lloyd Marcus

The Tea Party racist? Was it not the Tea Party that was the driving force behind the election of Rep. West?

The left’s tactics push people of all races to look at candidates based on anything but their content of character.  They will play the “race card” at every chance and lie about candidates to distract the American people from what really matters. They do not want the U.S. Constitution to remain. They want to turn this great nation into their personal socialist playground.

I commend and admire people like Rep. West and Lloyd Marcus for standing up to the pressures of the politically correct in defense of our great nation. We should all hold people of their caliber as true patriots. We need more people like them no matter what color their skin is.

I hope that all that read this will read Mr. Marcus’ article also and above all else, do what Dr. King dreamed about, judge (especially your candidates) by the content of their character, not the color of their skin.

Celebrating a Political Anniversary

It was back 8 years ago, although it seems like an eternity now, that I…for the first and last time ever pissed my pants laughing. I was reading an article about two hours ago and it mentioned the name of a female congressperson from Texas. That was all I needed for some raucous instant-recall. Return with me now to July of 2003 as I reprise the occasion of a member of the demonRATic attack machine in action.

Not content with the more mundane complaints she is known for, the demonRATic representative from the Grand and Glorious Empire of Texas, one Sheila Jackson-Lee, has gnarled her way back to the media podium yet again to lecture us all.

Can you guess what about?

(CAUTION: If you have a problem controlling your bladder or bowels when laughing DO NOT PROCEED ANY FURTHER)

Ms. Sheila Jackson-Lee (whom I sincerely wish would decide if she’s a “Jackson” or a “Lee” rather than a conflicted feminist) demanded to know why all hurricanes were chrisened with only Caucasian-sounding names. “All racial groups should be represented.”(1) she said, At the same time she lashed out at the National Weather Service she also opined that…in the future lists of names “would try to be inclusive of African American names”(1) as well as Caucasoid (Caucasion).

I found no concern by her regarding the third race of man, the Mongoloid folks of the world. Apparently an oversight for one functioning with a critically diminished intellectual capacity.

At the time, after having regained my compusure, I briefly wondered why her constituency (possibly shocked and embarassed by such a performance) hadn’t started a “recall petition” for the aforementioned. I recovered shortly upon realizing that they had voted her in and done so repeatedly, so obviously knew what they had and approved. They must have. She is still their representative!

I wondered if with the passing of time the names of hurricanes for 2011 might have been adjusted to accomodate this ridiculous ‘racist’ demand. After all it was a very serious matter, because in 2005 a Cobb County, GA worker was summarily fired for passing about the humorous email forward detailing this incident. That was followed in Texas by a Mayor asking for the resignation of a councilperson for doing the same thing. Gee thought I…Didn’t anybody happen to notice the abrogation of the right to freedom of speech here?

I digress though. Let’s look at the 2011 list of hurricane names:

2011 Hurricane Names (2)

Oh sh*t! This doesn’t look so good. Senate Rejects Cut, Cap and Balance Bill

As Harry Reid announced, the Senate voted on the Cut, Cap and Balance bill today. However, the bill, which is intended to cut the amount of spending, cap the amount of the GDP used to be paid into debt, and to balance the budget.

This leaves the ongoing issue still unresolved.

The Senate vote was 51-46.

There were plans for the Senate to be in session over the weekend, but Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid canceled them after today’s vote.

President Obama and Speaker of the House John Boehner are scheduled to continue their talks throughout the weekend in an attempt to resolve the looming debt crisis. Boehner made it very clear that he is willing to keep negotiations open, saying:

“There was no agreement, publicly, privately, never an agreement, and frankly not close to an agreement. So I suggest it’s going to be a hot weekend here in Washington, D.C. As a responsible leader, I think it is my job to keep likes of communications open.”

As the August 2 deadline fast approaches the debate is sure to heat up even more.

Renewed Calls on Obama and Democrats to Focus on America

NEW YORK, July 21, 2011 — Leading Independent and Senior Energy Executive Karl W. Miller today renewed calls for President Obama to start listening to senior industry executives and experts, resolve the U.S. real estate crisis, address depression era unemployment and put a credible national energy plan in place. The debt limit sideshow is a “red herring” and deferring focus away from the true problems facing the U.S. economy.

According to Mr. Miller:

The U.S. economy runs on three key factors: i) a stable housing market; ii) affordable and dependable energy supply; and iii) stable employment environment. Without these three critical factors functioning properly, there will be no meaningful economic recovery in the U.S. economy.

The U.S. Federal Reserve must stop subsidizing the defunct real estate loans in the residential and commercial marketplace which must be properly vetted, written down to net realizable value, and moved off the banks, hedge funds and insurance company books.

The U.S. regulators must force this to happen without preference for any specific group. There will be bankruptcies, bank failures and forced liquidations; these are the cold hard facts of a capitalist society, which the U.S. economy is founded upon.

Politicians must acknowledge where the U.S. economy and energy industry are today. We have serious and deep-rooted problems with no credible national energy plan in place and must start addressing these problems immediately.

The U.S. needs a credible and sensible energy policy and emissions plan. Subsidies and handouts do not work, never have and never will. Natural gas is not the “Holy Grail” but will remain a power generation fuel, heating fuel and select industrial manufacturing fuel. The U.S. has substantial cheap and dependable coal supplies which provide over fifty percent (50%) of the nation’s electricity generation.

President Obama and the Democrats failed to “recognize” the message that the American people sent them in November 2010 as the economy continues to decline, unemployment continues to grow and the real estate crisis continues to worsen.

It is time for Washington to take stock in America and start executing on a credible business plan. Failure to execute is cause for termination in Washington.

Senate WILL Vote on Cut, Cap and Balance

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has announced that the Senate will vote on the Cut, Cap and Balance bill that passed in the House earlier in the week. The vote may come as early as this afternoon or tomorrow.

The bill intends to to cut the amount of spending, cap the amount of the GDP used to be paid into debt, and to balance the budget.

Though the Democrats and main stream media have said there is no chance of it passing the Senate vote, they could be wrong.

Harry Reid, specifically, stated that the bill

“doesn’t have one chance in a million of passing the Senate.”

With the bill coming up for a vote in the Senate, you, the American voter has the power. Call your Senator and tell them to vote yes on the Cut, Cap and Balance bill. Tell them not to give in to politics. Do your part to call Obama’s bluff.

Christian Ministry Leaves “Christ” Behind

After sixty years of ministry, one of the most recognized Christian ministries is dropping Christ from their name.

Campus Crusade for Christ International announced that it will change the name of its U.S. Operations to “Cru” early next year.

Steve Sellers, the vice president for Campus Crusade for Christ, said:

“We felt like our name was getting in the way of accomplishing our mission.”

He added that the ministry will still be committed to “proclaiming Christ around the world.”

According to Mr. Sellers, researchers found that 9 percent of Christians and 20 percent of non-Christians were alienated by the name Campus Crusade for Christ.

In 1951, Bill and Vonette Bright founded the organization which has grown to a staff of 25,000 members in 191 countries. Bill Bright died in 2003, but Mrs. Bright posted a video online giving her support of the name change.

Mr. Sellers stated:

“When Bill Bright started the organization, he told his wife that someday they would have to change the name. As early as the late ’70s and ’80s he was looking at making the name change.”

Mr. Sellers said there are several reasons for the name change, one of which is overseas sensitivities, specifically to the word “crusade”

“Our name was becoming more and more of a hindrance. It’s reverted back to some of its meaning related to the Middle Ages – forcing Christianity on different parts of the world.”

That addresses one part of the name change, but what about the part where they remove the name of Christ from the organization name? The Campus Crusade for Christ website states:

“We were not trying to eliminate the word Christ from our name. We were looking for a name that would most effectively serve our mission and help us take the gospel to the world. Our mission has not changed. Cru enables us to have discussions about Christ with people who might initially be turned off by a more overtly Christian name. We believe that our interaction and our communication with the world will be what ultimately honors and glorifies Christ.”

But that decision has not set well with many evangelical Christians. Many Christians are standing up and voicing their disgust with the organization for giving in to political correctness.

But Mr. Sellers defends the removal of Christ’s name from the organizations name, and denied that they are giving in to political correctness, saying:

“It has nothing to do with political correctness.  It has everything to do with how we can be effective at what God has called us to do. Most churches don’t have Christ in their name. Hardly any other Christian organization has Christ in their name. People are making an issue out of something that isn’t the intent at all.”

He added that it is “more important that the organization is effective at proclaiming Jesus than it is important to have the name of Jesus in the name of the organization.”

He also emphasized the fact that the mission of the organization has not changed, saying:

“We are an evangelistic organization that is committed and has been committed and will be committed to proclaiming Christ around the world.”

Cru, the new name of the organization, has been a nickname for the organization on university campuses. Sellers said of this:

“Much like lots of brand names they don’t necessarily have meaning in and of themselves. It is a name we intend to give meaning so that when people hear it they know that it’s a caring group of Christians who are passionate about lifting up the name of Jesus.”

The Bible states things a bit differently.

Matthew 10:33 says:

“…but whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven.”

Mr. Sellers may be fooling himself, but he is not fooling God, nor anyone else who stands on the Word of God. Jesus made it very clear- if you deny me, I will deny you! A “caring group of Christians who are passionate about lifting up the name of Jesus” is what Mr. Sellers intends to portray with the new name, but the organization has taken out the name of the person he is supposedly passionate about lifting up.

2 Timothy 2:12 says,

“if we endure, we shall also reign with him; if we deny him, he also will deny us.”

Mr. Sellers and the organization would not endure. They gave in to political correctness whether they want to admit it or not.

Luke 21:17 says:

“You will be hated by all for my name’s sake.”

God specifically tells us that we will be hated for proclaiming His name. It is very doubtful He will accept the explanation of Mr. Sellers and the organization. If Mr. Sellers is correct, and Mr. Bright “knew” that one day they would have to change the name of the organization, many questions come to mind about the true mission of the organization. Do they now, and did Mr. Bright just want to be accepted by the world? If the mission of the organization is “proclaiming Christ around the world”, taking the name of Christ out of the organization is an oxy-moron.

Mr. Sellers said:

Cru enables us to have discussions about Christ with people who might initially be turned off by a more overtly Christian name.

If someone is “turned off” by the name of Christ, the name Cru is not going to magically open their eyes to the grace and love of Christ. This explanation is an obvious attempt to appease, but does nothing more than show the true intent behind the name change. In Mr. Seller’s own words:

“Our name was becoming more and more of a hindrance.”

In Mr. Seller’s explanation, he says that the name “Crusade” reminds people of the Middle Ages when people were forced into the practices of Christianity. If that were true, they would have kept the name of Christ, and only dropped “Crusade” from the name.

Mr. Sellers said:

“We believe that our interaction and our communication with the world will be what ultimately honors and glorifies Christ.”

The question that should be asked of Mr. Sellers is how can you glorify and honor Christ when you take His name out of your work?

How to Get an Obamacare Waiver

Nancy Pelosi and President Obama have been making sure that all their close friends are getting waivers from the disastrous health care reform act. It is a slayer of businesses, destroyer of physicians and ultimately the slayer of the American medical system. Who wouldn’t want out?

Krugman: Obama Should Just Lie to Americans to Get Another Stimulus

Paul Krugman, the New York Times’ liberal with no conscience, posted an opinion piece in which he offered a solution to the current economic situation: lie to Americans to get them to buy into another round of massive stimulus spending.

Suppose that Obama announces that we face a clear and present danger from Ruritania, and that to meet that threat we need immediate investment in roads and rail (to move troops, of course). The economy surges on the emergency spending — and newly employed men and women at last get to move out of their relatives’ basements. Home construction surges.

Then Obama apologizes, says that his advisers have learned that there is no such country as Ruritania, and cancels the program. But we still have the new roads and rail links; plus, the surge in housing demand is now self-sustaining, and the economy remains strong.

Obama did enough lying to get the first round of hundreds of billions (or over a trillion depending on how it’s counted) of dollars of government spending. That round did nothing. The bigger problem with this plan is that it intentionally creates yet another bubble. What happens when Obama announces that we built all that for nothing, no war is coming, and that Ruritania is a country that exists only in works of fiction? Those family members will be right back in Mom’s basement in no time. We saw it with the first Obama stimulus, we’ll see it again.

Artificial demand is the bugle call of Keynesian progressives. Create an economy around artificial demand – a bubble. Eventually those bubbles burst (housing is a prime example of Keynesian bubble building and the eventual bust). We need to unleash the free market and give it certainty of opportunity.

Certainty does not come about by deceiving business owners and citizens. Confidence will come when the government backs off of businesses and let’s them do what they do best – invest, hire, build, make money.

Perhaps Krugman and his ilk should stop bashing the wealthy and corporations and instead get out of the way so more of us can join the ranks of the corporate jet owners.
