Gaffetastic Joe Biden Now On Twitter- Sort Of

Joe Biden official portrait crop.jpgIf you want to keep up with the latest goings on of the Vice President, you may now do that in 140 characters or less. Vice President Joe Biden has joined the virtual world of Twitter.

However, if you have hopes of catching Mr. Vice President in one of his infamous gaffes you will probably be disappointed. His new leap into the digital world will be taken by staff members. The information lists the account as the “Official OVP twitter account”.

Mr. Biden, who is well known for his foot-in-mouth comments, recently said:

“Look, John’s last-minute economic plan does nothing to tackle the number-one job facing the middle class, and it happens to be, as Barack says, a three-letter word: jobs. J-O-B-S, jobs.”

Maybe joining the twitter community will teach him how to count, since you are limited to 140 characters. Oh wait! It’s his staff that will be tweeting, not him personally! We will have to come up with another plan to help Mr. Biden learn how to count correctly!

It would be advisable- since it is the staff who will be tweeting from the official account- that Mr. Biden never be given the reigns of such advanced technology. He cannot seem to remember when televisions were invented, as we saw from this quote:

“When the stock market crashed, Franklin D. Roosevelt got on the television and didn’t just talk about the, you know, the princes of greed. He said, ‘Look, here’s what happened.”
Mr. Biden is not only clueless about the timing of television in society, but he also seems to be clueless of the fact that FDR was not president when the stock market crashed in 1929. One would think Mr. Biden would have learned by now to stick to his script and not go out on his own with ad-libs. What is that saying….? Oh yeah! “Some fools never learn!”
