I am now and independent, based on the last 8 years of republican actions - but was for more than 30 years a republican. I am fiscally conservative and socially slightly liberal - but I would call it moderate. Many republicans and independents that I know, as well as the majority of country (those in the middle who seem to never be heard) are pro-choice. This is not un-informed. Forcing women who have decided not to ontinue with their pregnancy - whom I am sure have thought through making the decision with some serious consternation - is forcing "un-neccesary" procedures and processes and is nothing but scare and oppression tactics.

Both parties should look at what real America really wants.
