However, it is important to note the LDS records contain information of deceased individuals only. Obama is not deceased so he would not be in there (or in any other such databases/websites). To understand why the church’s records contain information of deceased individuals only, you would need to learn the purpose why the church set up the database and obtained the records to begin with (which also supports why Obama’s information is not in there). However, if Obama is using a birth certificate number of a deceased individual as some websites claim/suggest (http://myveryownpointofview.wordpress.com/extra-extra-announcing-obamas-birth/10-virginia-sunahara-research-results/), then the birth/death record of that deceased individual may be in there. However, that would take some research/digging to verify or debunk that claim.
